After another double header of what ifs and if onlys, the lads convene to try and make sense of it all. We go from a rear of the year update to allegations of crawling up the backside of a prominent manager as we analyse Damien Duff's woes, the unexpected spat with the omnipresent Stephen Bradley and the aborted Aviva experiment. There's Galway recriminations, another happy week on the Bohsometer, some old and young men to watch and and another unfortunate bout of accidental blasphemy. We then go north to Derry to listen to Mark Connolly explaining why a bit of team bonding helped a season that was in danger of going south. All of this sanctioned fun is brought to you in association with our friends at Collar & Cuff, Rascals Brewing, Sport Cosanta and Future Ticketing.

Hello, and thanks for dropping by the Three Things podcast. This is where I keep a promise to myself to try harder to notice things for myself, at the expense of having things noticed for me by the algorithms. Specifically, things that leave behind tracks of gratitude and happiness. This week's noticings: 1. Timing – I admire people who not only say the right thing but say the right thing at the right time. There's an extra dose of the bliss of being alive when the timing is perfect. 2. Specifically – Saul Alinsky, George Saunders, Mark Connolly and Tom Petty, specifically. 3. Sounds of home – An ode to the furnace and the other infrastructure of living here in February. The music in the podcast is original. It comes from the original Brendan McGrath. The end bells are courtesy of Edmonton metal artist and humanitarian, Slavo Cech. I'm at glenn.kubish@gmail.com

Monday morning began with news that health-care workers walked off the job to stage a wildcat strike at hospitals across the province. At the same time, next week's U.S. presidential election is drawing attention from those who can and can't cast a ballot. Many people took to social media recently to celebrate the life and legacy of a beloved Edmontonian, and it also happens to be Halloween this weekend—with COVID restrictions, of course. Clare Bonnyman hosts The Loop this week and gets a closer look at the wildcat strike from CBC reporter Wallis Snowdon. CBC national reporter Raffy Boudjikanian shares what it's like to be covering the U.S. election in Washington. Mark Connolly remembers Oilers locker-room attendant and legend Joey Moss, and hear how one household has prepared a Halloween scare during the pandemic.
In Episode 47, we are talking about your 2010 Memories, Covid Statement League Table, Shite XI, On This Day with the Arab Archive and we are joined by Calum Butcher, Mark Connolly, Mark Reynolds & Lawrence Shankland to look back at a Championship winning season… | You can follow us @dodefoxpodcast on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook
On this week's Real Life Podcast, the boys spend the hour getting you caught up on all things Oilers, including Don Cherry's take on the Carolina Hurricanes, the return of Sam Gagner, Bob Nicholson's interview with Mark Connolly, and a whole lot more. To start off this week's episode of the Real Life Podcast, producer Jared blew everyone's minds when he sneakily slid a new intro in from the one and only Daddy Long Neck. If you don't know who Daddy Long Neck is then we encourage you to spend more time cruising the weirdness of Instagram because he's one of the hottest "rappers" in the game right now. Back to business, the guys started off this week's show with a look at Don Cherry's comments regarding the Carolina Hurricanes win celebrations and whether or not they're acting like jerks with their elaborate celebrations. From there, we got in the interview that CBC's Mark Connolly had with Bob Nicholson and marvelled at Mark's line of questioning which was about as blunt as we've seen from the local media. Some of the topics covered in Connolly's interview was what kind of feedback the Oilers are getting from fans, who is responsible for Mikko Koskinen's signing, and whether Peter Chiarelli's hiring was a mistake. Lastly, the boys finished off the week with a look at The Nation Network as a business and how it's changed over the years. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Kevin Ellison’s decision to speak out about his eight-year battle with depression....... it’s a battle the boyhood Liverpool fan kept quiet from his family – and one that led him to leading a ‘double life’ and one that ultimately led to the breakdown of his relationship with the mother of his two children. After seeking help, Kevin has been in a better place for some time now.But it was only after seeing a number of fellow footballers do the same, like former Reds goalkeeper Chris Kirkland, and most recently, Crawley Town defender Mark Connolly, that he took the brave decision to open up publicly about the issues he’s faced. It’s a decision that is helping him personally and, as he candidly explains in this podcast, it’s a decision that is leading other players, along with fans, to get in touch with him to ask for his advice. We also speak about Kevin’s enduring passion for the game, which will see him play until he is 40 at least, and what it was like growing up on Breck Road and standing on the Kop, watching his Liverpool heroes, one of whom he went on to play for. Paul has returned from his trip in Italy, catching up with the latest in politics with Chris Ryan. Then an interview with Mark Connolly, former Deputy Secretary of State and Director of New Hampshire Bureau of Securities Regulation.
I believe that after hearing this episode with Mark you will feel like you have known him for a while. I enjoyed picking his brain about his experience with the K9 dogs in law enforcement and German Shepherds. He loves to create fun outlets for dog owners to have with their dogs which is refreshing to hear. Plus he opens up about a life changing experience that you won't want to miss.

What is the future of Managed IT services? That’s what we’re all trying to figure out, right? There are tons of opportunities surrounding managed IT services, but many MSPs aren't sure of the best way to capitalize on the growing market. The spend by small businesses for IT services is expected to cross the $1 trillion mark in 2015. Clearly, there’s a lot of room in the market, but it can feel like being a little fish in a big sea. On Episode 1 of MSPradio, Nate Teplow sits down with Mark Connolly, VP of Sales at Continuum and Mark Zahar, VP of Channel Sales at Continuum, to discuss the future of the industry and how MSPs can take advantage of the opportunity at hand.
