What if you could build a thriving business, grow a massive audience, and still have the freedom to live life on your terms? In this episode of The Russell Brunson Show, I sit down with Matt Gray, an incredible entrepreneur and founder who's done just that. After exiting his first company, building HERB into a 14-million-person media brand, and now leading Founder OS, Matt has figured out how to scale without stress, attract high-level talent, and turn content into consistent growth. If you're an entrepreneur or creator trying to build a business and a life you love, this conversation is packed with frameworks and mindset shifts that can help you get there. Key Highlights: How Matt turns one long-form video into 30+ pieces of content across platforms The structure behind his organic content engine that brings in 12,000+ leads per month Why he avoids selling directly on social and what he does instead to convert cold traffic The systems and team setup that keep his business running while he travels the world How he overcame burnout, quit smoking and drinking, and rebuilt his health and energy What a founder-led brand really is and why it's the key to long-term growth We also go deep into personal branding, content strategy, hiring, time freedom, and the hidden cost of sedating stress instead of solving it. Matt even shares his book-writing process, his thoughts on founder identity, and what it really takes to build something that lasts. This one's not just about marketing and business. It's about building a company that actually fits your life. Hello, Climate Champions! In today's episode of the Climate Confident Podcast I had the pleasure of hosting Matt Gray, the co-founder and CEO of Transition Zero, a trailblazer in energy systems modelling. In our conversation, Matt delved into the intricate world of energy systems modelling, a crucial tool for stakeholders and decision-makers in shaping our energy future. He emphasized Transition Zero's mission to democratise this complex tool, making it accessible, auditable, and reproducible. This, Matt believes, is vital for accelerating the transition to a sustainable energy future. We explored the significant challenges in moving towards net zero, particularly the technical and political barriers. Matt highlighted the crucial role of transmission investments in the energy grid and how these investments, or the lack thereof, influence our ability to harness low-cost renewable energies like wind and solar.Another key takeaway from our chat was the importance of data transparency in fostering global collaboration. Matt underlined how Transition Zero's commitment to open data and models aims to bridge the gap between pledges and actions in climate commitments, thereby enhancing global climate action.Matt's insights on the role of transmission in achieving net zero were particularly thought-provoking, revealing how strategic investments can save trillions while facilitating a faster shift to renewable energy sources. We wrapped up with Matt's thoughts on COP28 and his future plans for Transition Zero. For those keen to learn more about their groundbreaking work or get involved, check out the TransitionZero website.Check out the video version of this episode on YouTube.Tune in, get inspired, and let's continue to make strides towards a sustainable future together! Here's the exciting conclusion of a two parter that's all about songs with "heart" - in the title, that is. The heart is a nasty lookin' thing, innit? But it's a word that symbolizes so much - love, pain, devotion, longing, passion, energy, excitement, life itself. It's safe to say that it's perhaps the second most essential organ in rock n' roll (insert winky smiley face here). We are thrilled to be joined by Andrea Lewis Jarvis, Harley Farr, and Matt Gray from The Darling Buds! The Buds formed in Newport, Wales in 1986, a band of friends who made great music and experienced amazing adventures together. The new 5-CD Cherry Red Records box set, Killing For Love: Albums, Singles, Rarities, Unreleased 1987-2017 collects the band's three albums recorded for CBS/Sony (1989's Pop Said... , 1990's Crawdaddy, 1992's Erotica), their 2017 EP Evergreen, and plenty of early singles, demos, b-sides, and rarities. During Part 2, you'll hear our top two choices for "heart" songs, the glorious new box set, the pros and cons of the modern music business model, the obscene power of the British music media, US vs. UK crowds, the timelessness of classic alternative, and what drives the band now. Plus, hear the 1987 Leeds demo of "Shame On You" from Killing For Love. If you haven't listened to Part 1 yet, go back and listen! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Darling Buds were another one of those excellent British alternative bands of the late 80s/early 90s that was sadly short lived. Three strong albums in four years and then nothing for a long time. People listening to college radio or scouring records stores around that time would know them well. Thankfully, the band is back with an incredible box set, Killing For Love, Albums, Singles, Rarities, Unreleased 1987-2017, just released by Cherry Red Records (they're so good at this stuff). Andrea Lewis and Matt Gray join us to share stories for the journey like the impact of having John Peel as a fan, doing Top of the Pops, moving to the US, and more. It's good to say this great band is getting what they deserve.  www.thedarlingbuds.org www.patreon.com/thehustlepod

As the amphibian hobby continues to grow, it is crucial that we advocate for the health and wellbeing of our beloved frogs, toads and salamanders. We must also be mindful of the health and wellbeing of the industry that provides us the privilege of working with these amazing creatures. And when it comes to setting policies that affect the industry (particularly with regard to amphibian disease), input from hobbyists and breeders is a vital component.  This week I am joined by Dr. Matt Gray and we discuss his ongoing project with the Pet Advocacy Network.  The aim of the project  is to identify how socioeconomic decisions made by stakeholders drive pathogen dynamics in a wildlife trade network and use this information to identify disease mitigation strategies that are economically viable and minimize spillover risk (i.e., pathogen transmission from captive to wild populations). This project is partnering with the U.S. wildlife trade industry and government stakeholders, and will facilitate discussions among them to identify strategies that promote clean trade, while considering socioeconomic impacts on the industry. The project uses a combination of socioeconomic surveys, facilitated discussions, pathogen surveillance, and controlled experiments to build a series of predictive models that can be used to guide policy. To find out more about free pathogen tests,  grad and post grad opportunities, and to take the survey visit: https://www.healthyamphibiantrade.orgFollow @UTOneHealth on twitter Additional Resources: Cavasos, K., N.
