Felix Fan runs Trust Wallet — 200 million users and, per his own numbers, the third-largest self-custodial wallet by Bitcoin transaction volume. At Consensus 2026 he sits down with David Sencil to drop the stats, the controversies, and the roadmap. The tension Felix is honest about: shipping innovations on Bitcoin — like inscriptions — that Bitcoin OGs don't love. The Trust Wallet bet is that the next 100M users care more about features than purity, while still wanting self-custody. He also gets specific about what's NOT shipped yet: private swap, private transfer, and Zcash support are all built but waiting on legal frameworks. We cover:- The 200M-user and #3 Bitcoin volume claim- Inscriptions on Bitcoin and the OG debate- Gasless stablecoin transfers via RPC-level sponsorship- Trust Wallet's agent kit for AI on-chain- Perps, prediction markets, and the regulatory wall on privacyFilmed at Consensus 2026.Host: David Sencil

Alex Nahas is 28 years old and has already initiated a W3C web standard. Working as a backend engineer at Amazon, he ran into a problem most enterprises face: MCP requires OAuth, but most enterprise infrastructure runs on SAML. His solution was elegant: run the MCP server in client-side JavaScript, letting AI agents use the browser's existing authentication context rather than rebuilding auth from scratch. What started as an internal tool became an open source project, then a viral Hacker News post published while under anesthesia, and ultimately an invitation from Google and Microsoft to help shape WebMCP as an official web standard. In this episode, Alex and Tobi explore what WebMCP actually is, why the browser is the most underestimated sandbox in AI development, and what the agentic web might look like two years from now. Topics covered: What MCP actually is and why it's just an RPC framework at its core Why OAuth is a dealbreaker for most enterprise infrastructure How WebMCP lets AI agents operate within existing browser authentication The Hacker News post that started it all, and why Alex doesn't remember posting it How Chrome is natively building WebMCP support The chicken-and-egg problem of standard adoption Real-time bidding for agents and what it means for digital advertising Why agents don't need their own identity Where the agentic web is headed in the next two years

Because maker and taker were supposed to use the same miner fee, a malicious taker could push a bad fee value through the transaction math and shrink the multisig output to 0.001 BTC while sweeping the rest into the taker's change. Attacker drained 11.59 BTC from 10 users, all on altcoin trades. The hotfix landed as Bisq 1.10.0 on 2026-05-16 with broader hardening: trade protocol checks, network message validation, release verification, supply-chain hardening. The $300M KelpDAO exploit became a watershed moment for DeFi, and the Arbitrum Security Council voted froze $70M worth of stolen funds. Is this a slippery slope or learning from history? Thank you to our sponsors! MultiChain Advisors is an emerging technology growth firm that has helped create $50B+ in enterprise value for 80+ clients over the past 4 years. They're the partner to help navigate markets.  Build real traction today at multichainadv.com The largest DeFi hack of 2026 starts with an RPC node. Not a smart contract bug. Not a stolen key. A spoofed node and a forged transaction. And North Korea drained $300 million from Kelp DAO through LayerZero's bridge in a single block. Then the attacker went to Aave, borrowed against assets that didn't exist, and created a bad debt crisis that locked Kain out of his own position. That was Friday. By Sunday, North Korea had started laundering. The $300M KelpDAO exploit became a watershed moment for DeFi, and the Arbitrum Security Council voted froze $70M worth of stolen funds. Is this a slippery slope or learning from history? A spoofed node and a forged transaction. And North Korea drained $300 million from Kelp DAO through LayerZero's bridge in a single block. Then the attacker went to Aave, borrowed against assets that didn't exist, and created a bad debt crisis that locked Kain out of his own position. That was Friday. Computer scientist Keith Winstein is an expert in how computers communicate. Computer networks create what he calls shared fictions – abstract realities, like a website or a Zoom call, that exist only because the computers on either end agree to act as if they are real. Unfortunately, today's networks lack a shared notion of a “computation,” which hurts market efficiency in cloud computing and frustrates efforts to hold tech companies accountable for the results of their algorithms. As computational power becomes concentrated in a smaller number of companies, Winstein advocates for a shared language of “computational truths,” defining computations precisely so results are reproducible and auditable. His research group hopes this will lead to greater transparency and accountability in the cloud and, ultimately, to greater confidence in the computations that companies do every day on our behalf. The truth matters, Winstein tells host Russ Altman on this episode of Stanford Engineering's The Future of Everything podcast. Have a question for Russ? In this episode, I got to catch up with three amazing Triad members — Gary Hansen, Jaris Hansen, and Josh Cumrine — to break down how they turned a founder-led firm, Retirement Planning Center of the Rockies, into a team-driven business that's tripled in size over the past three years, now closing in on $40 million of new assets in 2025.Gary started this thing back in the '70s as a one-man insurance practice. Fast forward a few decades, and his son Jaris and son-in-law Josh are now running the next chapter. But it wasn't always smooth sailing. For years, they were grinding — three advisors running three different playbooks, sitting in every client meeting, and doing everything themselves. The effort was there, but the structure wasn't. They were growing busier, not bigger. Then in 2022, everything shifted. They stopped running three different playbooks and decided to run one. They quit selling products and started leading clients through a clear, repeatable process. They put the right people in the right seats and built systems that gave clients confidence and their team freedom.Today, RPC isn't just a family business. It's a growing legacy — built on values, powered by structure, and set up to keep scaling for generations to come.3 of the biggest insights from RPC Financial…1.) From Chaos to Clarity — How Structure Unlocked GrowthFor years, each advisor ran their own show. Once they unified under one brand and clarified responsibilities, the firm took off. Structure created consistency and consistency created scale.2.) The Mindset Shift That Led to a 95% Close RateWhen they stopped “selling products” and started leading clients through a proven process, everything changed. By the second meeting, 95% of qualified prospects were saying yes — without doing any upfront planning for free.3.) Building a Brand That Connects and Keeps EvolvingWords matter. The language your team uses shapes how people see and trust you. By creating their Summit Retirement Guide and using simple, powerful language like “confidence in the path ahead” and “sleep well at night,” RPC built a message clients actually remember. And the best part? They're still refining it, making sure their brand grows right alongside their business.SHOW NOTEShttps://bradleyjohnson.com/140FREE GIFT + JOIN THE DBDL INSIDER CREWToday's Gift: 30 minute 1:1 coaching call with BradAre you a financial advisor who feels stuck, needs help, or simply wants to have a conversation with Brad? It's been a big week for React devs as the annual React Conf just wrapped up in Las Vegas. The biggest news? React and React Native are moving out from under Meta to a new React Foundation with an independent technical governance structure. The React Foundation's mission will be to support the React community and ecosystem, and a board of directors will steer it going forward. Also in time for React Conf, React 19.2 dropped, and it brings new features like partial pre-rendering, a new useEffectEvent hook, and an component that lets devs prioritize rendering  tomaintain state and make navigation faster. Not to be outdone, Cloudflare announced a new RPC protocol called Cap'n Web, which is a pure TypeScript implementation. What makes Cap'n Web unique is that it supports bi-directional calling, promise pipelining, and lets users design RPC interfaces that look like regular JavaScript APIs.Chapter Markers:03:18 - React Foundation07:10 - React Compiler 1.0 and React 19.217:13 - Cap'n Web24:19 - Opera Neon27:16 - The EU is considering cookie law changes31:43 - The Internet Archive hits 1 trillion pages33:33 - What's making us happyLinks:Paige - Cap'n Web pure TypeScript RPC systemJack - Introducing the React FoundationTJ - React 19.2European policymakers may be fixing the cookie banner headache they createdOpera wants you to pay $20 per month for its new AI browserCelebrating 1 Trillion Web Pages Archived What Makes Us Happy this Week:Paige - The Terminal List: Dark Wolf TV seriesJack - Fender Acoustasonic guitarTJ - Portable stadium seat additionThanks as always to our sponsor, the Blue Collar Coder channel on YouTube. We also get into what it takes to build B2B tools that feel like B2C, why content creators (like podcasters) should be thinking about data licensing, and why the days of centralized APIs and broken bridges may be numbered. This one's nerdy, future-forward, and full of practical examples for how it's all being built right now. This episode contains strong language.

Tina gives us the full rundown on her recent colonoscopy journey, while a slightly jealous Tom has really leaned into his gross dad era — spitting loogies out the car window like an old Chinese man (Christine's words, not mine) and upping his fart game to unacceptable levels. They also give a brief review of The Minecraft Movie, praise Jason Mamoa, and discuss the rise of low-IQ adults on TikTok, and get into the latest unhinged chapter in the Tony Johns saga — this week included a landlord braw, an hour long arrest, and a little sledgehammering. Plus, the Mommies revisit the legendary RPC's Instagram for a reboot of an old classic clip, watch some horrible or hilarious videos, get re-acquainted with the Alaskan Avenger, and Tom shows some wild glove art from his show in Oklahoma City. Grab your bidet, lower your IQ, and let's get weird.
