Zeit funktioniert nicht, wie Zeit funktionieren soll und jede Nutzung von Magie schlägt unerwartete Funken. Beim Umherstreifen in der unwirtlichen Umgebung fällt der Gruppe ein seltsames türkises Erz auf, über das Neves Mutter Oona mehr zu wissen scheint, als sie zugeben möchte. Nachdem eine Auseinandersetzung mit einem Purple Worm sie beinahe das Leben kostet, zeigt die sonst so stoische Frau sich allerdings kommunikativer. Bei der Aussprache erfahren die Wachen von der Vergangenheit, die das Oberhaupt der Lockwood-Familie sich mit Mr. Hemlock und der Giftmischerin Ishani teilt: die Arbeit an der Waffe, die mächtig genug sein sollte, um einen weiteren Konflikt vom Ausmaß der Dschinn-Kriege zu verhindern. Obwohl von dem einstigen Vorhaben - zumindest bisher - kaum mehr als Hemlocks Ambitionen und ein riesiger Kratersee und zurückbleiben, ist auch Oona der Meinung, dass sich die Geschichte nicht wiederholen darf. This is the first of a new approach to interviews in which I aim to talk to roleplaying game activists about games that I am personally less familiar with. John Alan Large is the brain behind Red Dice Diaries, the channel where he provides tips and advice for roleplaying, broadcasts games showing that advice in action, and highlights games that offer innovative mechanisms or assistance to the GM. Although John has uploaded more than 900 videos to YouTube over the past three years, my exposure to Red Dice Diaries came through his podcast of the same name and contributions to the Purple Worm podcast.
