On this episode of Tent Show Radio, experience a heartwarming presentation of Glen Campbell's biggest hits and the stories behind them, delivered by the music legend's band leader and guitarist of 15 years, Jeff Dayton. Nashville artist Jeff Dayton's career is a success story built on hard work, faith and professionalism. The Minnesota native grew up heavily influenced by the music of guitar greats like Eric Clapton, Jerry Reed, Jimi Hendrix and, naturally, Glen Campbell. He formed the Jeff Dayton Band in Phoenix, Arizona in 1980. With a regional #1 hit under his belt, they opened shows for countless artists and major tours that passed through the city, eventually catching the eye of Glen Campbell who would quickly change his career forever. Dayton became Glen Campbell's right-hand man, spending 15 years as the legendary musician's guitarist and band leader. From the 1980's to the 2000's, they toured around the world and across all 50 states, performed at the White House, and appeared together on The Today Show and Glen's PBS special with the South Dakota Orchestra. In the years that followed, Dayton had the honor of backing artists including Vince Gill, Willie Nelson, Toby Keith, Buck Owens, Tracy Byrd, Bo Diddley, Dizzy Gillespie, Gene Autry, Mac Davis and would tour with megastar Kenny Chesney, Lee Greenwood, Sarah Darling, Tammy Cochran and others. After Glen Campbell's passing in 2017, Jeff got so many requests for a show of the icon's music that he launched “Salute to Glen Campbell,” an intimate, upbeat presentation of his hits and the first-person stories of their years together. Dayton has created a truly uplifting and sentimental first-person tribute to one of the greatest artists of all time; he shares the stories behind the songs, the records Glen played on as a member of the Wrecking Crew in his LA studio days, and of course, some of Campbell's classic country humor. Jeff Dayton continues to lead the band, which includes original drummer Tom Benton, as they perform to sold-out crowds across the country, playing hits like “Wichita Lineman,” “Gentle On My Mind,” “Rhinestone Cowboy,” and all the rest, just as they were performed with Glen Campbell.       EPISODE CREDITSMichael Perry - Host Phillip Anich - Announcer Keenan McIntyre - Engineer Gina Nagro - Marketing Support FOLLOW BIG TOP CHAUTAUQUA https://www.facebook.com/bigtopchautauqua/ https://www.instagram.com/bigtopchautauqua/ https://www.tiktok.com/@bigtopchautauqua https://twitter.com/BigBlueTent FOLLOW HOST MICHAEL PERRYhttps://sneezingcow.com/ https://www.facebook.com/sneezingcow https://www.instagram.com/sneezingcow/ https://twitter.com/sneezingcow/ 2024 TENT SHOW RADIO SPONSORSAshland Area Chamber of Commerce - https://www.visitashland.com/  Bayfield Chamber and Visitor Bureau - https://www.bayfield.org/  Bayfield County Tourism - https://www.bayfieldcounty.wi.gov/150/Tourism  The Bayfield Inn - https://bayfieldinn.com/  Cable Area Chamber of Commerce - https://www.cable4fun.com/  SPECIAL THANKSWisconsin Public Radio - https://www.wpr.org/

THANKS TO ANDREW FOR MAKING THE INTRO SONG. (soundcloud.com / andoryukesuta)@andoryukesuta While Sidney and her friends visit the Hollywood set of Stab 3, the third film based on the Woodsboro murders, another Ghostface killer rises to terrorize them. Cotton Weary, now the host of a successful talk show, is contacted by Ghostface, who demands to know the whereabouts of Sidney Prescott. When Cotton refuses to cooperate, Ghostface breaks into his home and attacks his girlfriend Christine. Cotton rushes home, only for Ghostface to kill Christine, then Cotton. Detective Mark Kincaid contacts Gale Weathers to discuss the recent murders, prompting her to travel to Hollywood, where she finds Dewey Riley working as an adviser on the set of Stab 3, the third film in the series based on the Ghostface murders. Ghostface kills Stab 3 actress Sarah Darling, causing production of the film to be halted. The remaining cast, along with Dewey and Gale, gather at the home of Jennifer Jolie, the actress playing Gale in Stab 3. Ghostface murders her bodyguard and uses a gas leak to cause an explosion, which kills actor Tom Prinze. Sidney is living in seclusion as a crisis counselor for an abused women's hotline, fearing another killer may strike. Having uncovered Sidney's location, the killer begins taunting her by phone using a voice changer to sound like her deceased mother Maureen Prescott, forcing Sidney out of hiding and drawing her to Hollywood. Martha Meeks, the sister of Sidney's murdered friend Randy,[a] visits Sidney and the others to deliver a videotape that Randy made before his death, posthumously warning them the rules of a horror film do not apply to anyone in the third and final film of a trilogy and that any of them, including Sidney, could die. Sidney is later attacked by Ghostface at a movie set, forcing the police to withhold her at their station. Dewey, Gale, Jennifer, and the remaining cast, Angelina[b] and Tyson, attend a birthday party for Stab 3's director, Roman Bridger. After Gale discovers Roman's body in the basement, Ghostface attacks the group, killing Angelina, Tyson and Jennifer. The killer then orders Sidney to the mansion to save Gale and Dewey. When Sidney arrives, Ghostface lures her inside to where Gale and Dewey are bound and gagged. As Sidney is freeing them, Ghostface appears, though Sidney gains the upper hand using a hidden gun to fight him off. Kincaid shows up but is knocked unconscious by Ghostface. Sidney flees and hides in a secret screening room where she is discovered by Ghostface, who reveals himself as Roman, having survived being shot by wearing a bulletproof vest.

The film received mixed reviews, and is often cited as the weakest installment of the series. In a 2009 interview, Matthew Lillard, who played Stu Macher in Scream, said that he had been contracted to reprise his role in Scream 3 as the primary antagonist, having survived his apparent death, orchestrating new Ghostface attacks from prison on high school students and ultimately targeting Sidney. Following the Columbine High School massacre shortly before production began, the script was scrapped and re-written without his character and this plot to avoid development of a film which associated violence and murder with a high school setting.Scream 3 was released just over two years after Scream 2, greenlit with a budget of $40 million, a significant increase over the budgets of Scream at $15 million and Scream 2 at $24 million. Williamson's involvement had been contracted while selling his Scream script, to which he had attached two five-page outlines for potential sequels, which would become Scream 2 and Scream 3, hoping to entice buyers with the prospect of purchasing a franchise rather than a single script. Craven too had been contracted for two potential sequels following a successful test screening of Scream and he returned to direct the third installment. Shortly before production began on the film, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold killed 12 students, a teacher, and themselves at their school, in what became known as the Columbine High School massacre. In the aftermath of the incident, many parties began looking for reasoning behind their actions and there came an increased scrutiny on the role of the media in society, including video games and film, and the influence it could have on an audience. With production of Scream 3 not yet underway, there were considerations about whether the film should be made at that time, aware of the potential for negative attention but the studio decided to press forward, albeit with changes. The studio remained however much more apprehensive concerning violence and gore in Scream 3 than with previous installments, pressing for a greater emphasis on the series' satiric humor while scaling back on the violence. At one point in the production, the studio went as far as demanding that the film feature no blood or on-screen violence at all, a drastic departure for the series, but Craven directly intervened. According to Kruger, "[Craven ...] said 'Be serious, guys. Either we make a Scream movie or we make a movie and call it something else. But if it's a Scream movie, it's going to have certain standards.'"#horror #movie #death #horrorfilm #splatter #deathscene #blood #gore #scarymovie #horror #completeguidetohorror #horrormovie #scary #creepy #graphic #scream #scream2 #nevecampbell #courtneycox #davidarquette #randymeeks #jamiekennedy #sidneyprescott #college #90sfilms #1997 #galeweathers #billyloomis #stumacher #scream2022 #parkerposey #hollywood #hollywoodundead #setlife #trilogy

Welcome to “Inside Music Row!”  Today we’ll celebrate “Carolina”…the first number one hit for Parmalee.  We’ll also check out the latest independent project from Jo Dee Messina.  Finally, we’ll sit down with Austin Webb to hear all about his new music.  All this and more coming up “Inside Music Row!”   Roll Open  :30   Hey everybody!  I'm Kelly Sutton… so glad you’ve joined us for another Inside Music Row.  We've got a great show for you today, so let’s get started with some entertainment headlines!  If you’re waiting to get your tickets to this year’s CMA Music Festival, you might have waited a little too long.  The nightly concerts at L-P Field sold out early this year, setting a sales record for the C-M-A.  Tickets sold out before the first artist was even announced, which was nine weeks earlier than last year.  Even though the nightly shows are now sold out, there are still plenty of other entertainment venues, stages, activities and special events lined up for the festival, which runs June fifth through the eighth.  Check out C-M-A Fest dot com for all the details.   “Take It To The Bank” is the latest project out from Chris Janson.  He puts on at least 150 shows each year, and has recently become a regular on the Grand Ole Opry.  Chris has been described as a cross between Waylon Jennings and Mick Jagger.  Look for the new E-P on sale now, which features five hand-picked songs, four of which were written by Chris.   The Grand Ole Opry is releasing a new book this weekend that treats fans to an all-access, behind-the-scenes look at country music’s most famous show.  “Backstage at the Grand Ole Opry” coincides with the 40th anniversary celebration of the Opry House.  You’ll find many rare photos, stories, and personal memories throughout the book, so look for it at many Nashville retailers or online at the Opry Shop.   Dolly Parton is a very busy woman right now.  Fresh off the Australian leg of her new “Blue Smoke” tour, Dolly is set to release a new album of the same name May 13th.  She’ll then hit the road hard here in the States for a handful of shows before heading over to Europe for about five weeks.  It doesn’t look like she’ll be slowing down any time soon.   Now it's time to go “Inside The Song.”  Sarah Darling wrote a song 7 years ago that was inspired by her grandfather when she thought she was losing him.  Here is Sarah talking about her song “Knowing What I Know About Heaven.”
