We're stepping outside the Disney bubble and heading deep into the heart of Texas for an unforgettable trip to Austin. That's right—we swapped MagicBands for cowboy boots and spent the weekend soaking up everything Austin has to offer, from mouthwatering food to meaningful moments. We're talking Michelin-starred barbecue brisket that melts in your mouth, spicy chicken from a food truck named Spicy Boys, an incredible cowgirl hat experience at Kendra Scott's Yellow Rose boutique, and a dive bar that turned out to be surprisingly sober-friendly. Plus, opening up about a powerful personal milestone—reaching 475 days of sobriety—and how a three-hour Blue October concert helped finally deliver the clarity.Whether it's floating in freezing cold Barton Springs, indulging in gourmet ice cream, or spotting a puppy in an Uber, this was a weekend filled with unexpected joy, emotional growth, and plenty of laughter. So if you're looking for an inspiring, delicious, and downright weird adventure beyond the theme parks, grab your hat (and maybe a churro for comfort) and come along for the ride!MEI-Travel – Expertise. We're taking a delicious deep dive into the snack scene at Disney Springs to determine which treats are truly worth your time, money, and appetite. With so many tempting options, we're breaking them down by taste, value, portion size, and uniqueness to see which ones deserve a resounding “Eat it!” and which you may want to “Beat it!”We kick things off at Swirls on the Water with the DOLE Whip Flight—a $7.99 trio that serves up a sampler-sized portion of Disney's most iconic soft-serve in playful, unique swirls like banana and salted caramel or mint chocolate, all with fun toppings. Then we hit the heavyweight champion of cookies at Gideon's Bakehouse, where the limited-time White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookie clocks in at nearly half a pound and over 24 hours of prep time, offering rich flavor and chewy-crispy contrast. From there, it's on to Sprinkles for a fresh cupcake delivered from their famous ATM, and then we hop over to The Daily Poutine, where $10.49 gets you a hot, hearty portion of Canadian-style comfort food—fries, gravy, and cheddar curds that are perfect for sharing. Summer House offers up a gooey cookie bar that's just as pretty as it is tasty, while Chicken Guy delivers classic tenders with a sauce-sampling twist that brings the flavor (and a bit of Food Network flair). We wrap with Homecomin's beloved Momma's Mac and Cheese, Morimoto Asia's sticky-sweet spare ribs, Everglazed's pillowy doughnuts, and the wildly inventive small-batch ice creams from Salt & Straw—think strawberry balsamic or honey lavender atop a crisp waffle cone.Whether you're strolling the Springs for a quick bite or plotting a full-on snack crawl, this episode is your go-to guide for the tastiest (and most interesting) stops along the way.MEI-Travel – Expertise. Universal After Dark - A Universal Orlando and Halloween Horror Nights Podcast
Tracey Mallaby, UUOP, and a Theme Park FriendshipI first came across Tracey Mallaby back in 2011, through a little podcast that's since become a staple in the Universal Orlando fan community — the Unofficial Universal Orlando Podcast (UUOP). What started as a passionate fan project has grown into one of the longest-running, most respected podcasts covering Universal parks, and Tracey's been at the heart of it since day one.If you've listened to the show, you'll know Tracey brings a mix of warmth, humour, and a genuine love for the parks — not to mention her unfiltered honesty when it comes to food reviews, ride opinions, or the state of the Horror Nights houses. She's never pretended to be anything but herself, and that's what makes her such a great voice in the fan community. Our personal friendship has had its share of ups and downs — all my fault — but it's also endured longer than I ever expected when I first tuned into a podcast from a group of Brits chatting about Spider-Man rides and Butterbeer. Tracey's loyalty, kindness, and fierce sense of fun have always shone through, and I'll always respect the time, effort, and passion she's poured into UUOP.Here's to Tracey, to friendships that keep finding their way back, and to many more years of theme park chats, in-jokes, and maybe even a few disagreements — because let's be honest, she's always right anyway.

With our first official house announcement of the year, Fallout is coming to HHN 34 in Orlando and HHN 2025 in Hollywood. An interview with John Murdy and Matt Flood reveal additional details about each coast's house and what we can expect from it. In that same interview, Murdy and Flood also let it be known that Five Nights at Freddy's will indeed be a house at both events. Shutting down any speculation that their initial announcement implied a different experience. We also finally have tickets for Halloween Horror Nights. In Orlando, that is for single night tickets and add ons. In Hollywood, the full ticket selection is currently available.Follow HHN 365 on social media:Instagram HHN365Twitter @HHN365TikTok: @HHN365podJoin our Discord Server: https://discord.gg/jUD9nZav2UMerch: HHN365.comFeatured audio is courtesy of White Bat Audio

We're going completely off script—no notes, no prep, just pure pizza passion! Join us as we improv our way through our top five places to grab a slice (or a whole pie) at Walt Disney World, based on a mix of taste, value, portion size, and accessibility. Universal has shocked us all by releasing an announcement on a Sunday evening. Five Nights at Freddy's will be making it's way to Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando for HHN 34 and Hollywood for HHN 2025. However, this wasn't your traditional house announcement and it looks like Blumhouse may have leaked this prematurely. Prior to this, HHN was posting cryptic static teasers likely leading up to announcement this week. What will the house announcement schedule look like for Halloween Horror Nights 2025?Follow HHN 365 on social media:Instagram HHN365Twitter @HHN365TikTok: @HHN365podJoin our Discord Server: https://discord.gg/jUD9nZav2UMerch: HHN365.comFeatured audio is courtesy of White Bat Audio

Is it summer already, or is that just our theme park budget melting in the sun? Either way, we're kicking off the season with our annual guide to roller coasters, churros, and how not to hurl after one too many loops. Theme Park Insider's Robert Niles returns to share the biggest news in amusement park land—from a new Disney park in Abu Dhabi (what?!) to Universal Orlando's game-changing Epic Universe. But what's a summer kickoff without a good ol' whiplash reminder that your brain can't be trusted when it comes to investing? Joe Saul-Sehy and OG dive into Jason Zweig's latest insights about how our market “memory banks” mess with decision-making, and why 2008 probably wasn't as scarring as your gut tells you. And yes, Doug's trivia ties it all together—with corn dogs, naturally. How to actually save money at theme parks without having to sleep in a costume closet. The surprising reason a $1,400 day at Disney might be your own fault. Which new coasters (and old favorites) are worth the detour this year. Why your gut—and your "market memory"—could be sabotaging your investments. The last time the stock market went down multiple years in a row (hint: not 2008). What Robert's favorite underrated U.S. parks are (spoiler: Dollywood shows up, again). How to strategically splurge or save at the parks—merch fans, avert your eyes.
