My favorite costume dramas of last year are back with sophomore seasons, and they're the slowest of slowburns. Rose Williams as Charlotte Heyward is the central jewel of the excellent ensemble cast. Her friend Georgiana Lambe, played by Crystal Clarke, really comes into her own during this season.This is a somewhat odd trailer for Bright Star. The overall mood of the film is more elegiac — stark and darkly romantic, which better suits the story. This scene, a bit longer in the film, is one of my favorites and represents the mood of the movie best to me.BooksBridgerton is based on the romance series by Julia Quinn.My college seminar instructor would rap my knuckles because Keats' poem is actually called Ode on a Grecian Urn. The Absence of Field Analysis Welcome to Beyond Westworld, and boy do we have a future narrative for you… Charlotte Hale is front and center this week as we learn what has been happening over a Delos since the incident in the park. Turns out Serac and Incite have been busy buying up shares to take a controlling interest in Delos. Not only is this happening right under the big wigs noses, but Charlotte is also a SPY! Turns out the S1 storyline of smuggling data out of the park was true but it wasn't to oust the man in black. It was to transmit Delos intel to Incite, but for what purpose remains to be seen. Meanwhile Dolores and Caleb's story picks back up right after the events of episode 1. Looks like either Delos, Incite, or the system is looking for Dolores but Caleb knows better. Caleb and Dolores escape and then she takes him on a Caleb this is your life journey not only looking at his past, but also telling him how Rehoboam has already predicted his future. So he can either let it play out and commit suicide in 10 years, or he can take control and fight back at Dolores' side. Jimmy and Brett preview one of the biggest shows of the year - will Brock Lesnar go bell to bell? Will Charlotte win the Rumble? Jimmy and Brett don't know, but it's fun to guess...

Aaron went to Vegas to talk to some of WWE's biggest stars and good news! He's not here to tell us about it! But at least he ALSO didn't send us the interviews! Instead, we discussed the WWE Draft, which was...about as meh as possible. Will Charlotte and Becky stay on RAW? Did they really split up Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt only to...not split them at all and make this all so much worse? In Segment 2 (48:51), we got into Week 2 of AEW Dynamite-including Chris Jericho taking some shots at WWE. AJ wants to know who the "stars" of AEW are for both the now and the coming years. It's not an unfair question. In Segment 3 (1:21:50), former UFC fighter and MLW star "Filthy" Tom Lawlor joined us before he comes to DEFY this weekend in Seattle. We discussed being a badass in general, goals he has both in pro wrestling and mixed martial arts still and much more. And we wrapped the show with Brandon FINALLY getting to talk about Starrcast-which is coming to Rams Head Live and will be dope as hell.

Aidan chastises her for not backing up her material. They bring her computer in to a repair shop and the techie tells her it doesn't look good. Miranda has to go to Philadelphia because her Mom has had a heart attack. The next day her Mom dies. Miranda calls Carrie to let her know and trying to be strong fights back tears. Charlotte, who has become a regular Martha Stewart, takes charge of getting the best funeral fruit basket and flower arrangement. Samantha has trouble dealing with the news of the death and can't bring herself to call Miranda. Instead, she gets together with her latest man, Nick, a NYU wrestling coach who had been teaching her new positions. However, this time, no matter what moves they try, Samantha can't orgasm. The next day, determined to get off, she pulls out her trusty vibrators but no luck. Miranda goes shopping for a funeral dress and after screaming at the lingerie saleswoman, she breaks down and cries in the woman's arms. Aidan surprises Carrie with a new laptop computer and zip drive but Carrie isn't happy about it. She's used to taking care of herself and can't handle the implications of his gesture. They argue and Aidan gives her back her keys. Back at the computer repair shop, Carrie learns that she needs her "motherboard" replaced. She calls Aidan and admits that she's scared to let him in, in case they fall apart. The girls go to the funeral in Philadelphia and offer Miranda their full support. In the middle of the funeral, Samantha starts crying and finds the release she really needed. She finally says, "I'm sorry" to Miranda. Back home, Carrie lets go of her fears and starts using the zip drive that Aidan gave her."Thanks for listening! Big sees her and tries to catch her, but Carrie's long gone. Carrie realizes that in her relationship with Aidan, she's been behaving like Big, and he's been acting like the sensitive and available guy she always wanted Big to be. Samantha happens to have an employee who’s been spending some time at party house in the Hamptons herself. She’s kind of obnoxious, so when Samantha fires her, it’s a welcome sight.This begins the girls’ vendetta against twenty-something girls. While she was waiting foe the rest, Charlotte met a young 26 year old. She’s off to a fun start. When they arrive all they can do is bitch about being cynical and the musty odor permeating the house. The little boy Charlotte met comes by to invite them to a beach bonfire. Oh, and Charlotte is pretending she’s 27 so the guy won’t be scared of her “old” lady parts. They get to the bonfire where everyone is getting drunk on kegs and flailing around to Fatboy Slim’s “Praise You”. Looks like a good time until chicks start puking. At least they hold each other’s hair.Carrie, trying to leave, runs into her biggest fan. She’s so adoring it’s sickening. In the days prior to social media it was easier to avoid these people. Miranda, the next morning, takes step outside with her coffee to enjoy the beachy morning after having a bitchy night. She about steps in vomit. It’s Charlotte’s, it turns out, and she spent the night passed out drunk with her boy toy. He’s there too. Oh, kids in their twenties.Back in the city during the week, Carrie reminisces about her own twenties. They chit chat, but while he takes a dip, Carrie laments that he is good on paper. Which means he’s likely bad in bed. Charlotte brings around her boy toy, which darkens the other girls’ day considerably. She suggests they make Long Island teas, which every kid...
