Due to Alex being sick, today’s solo episode is a replay of one of her favorite past episodes (Episode 037)! Believe it or not, there was a time when I used to feel like the biggest fraud. Today I’m an online business coach, but I first started my career as a photographer. I remember on my first few shoots I would show up full of nerves, wondering if I was worthy of being on the shoot, wondering if I’d know how to pose my client, or how to overcome the awkward silences.   I look back now and know that I was suffering from something called ‘imposter syndrome’. When you’re first getting started with *anything* in life, it can be very common to feel this sense of unease, as though you haven’t fully proven yourself to be worthy of whatever it is that you’re doing. Well today I’ve got some advice on Imposter Syndrome for you, all inspired by pop princess Ariana Grande. In this episode, I chat about: putting yourself out there without shame embracing the new, awkward, clunky phase of your business how to get people's attention before launching a new product how to build upon momentum I hope it inspires you as much as it did me.

Have you ever second-guessed a post you shared on Instagram? We all want to show up authentically on Instagram, but when does personal become too personal? Today's episode I go in depth about a situation that got me wondering about what “the line” is. People always ask me, “What’s appropriate to share and what’s not?” The answer is, it strongly depends on your brand. In my case, I have a personal brand where I am the name & face of my brand, so it’s important for me to build a real relationship with my followers. I don’t have to share anything about my personal live, but I do because it will bring me closer to my audience.  Remember real relationships don’t come from only showing the “highlight reel”. Real relationships come from shared memories and experiences, vulnerability and TRUST. In this week’s episode I share:   why being with childhood friends reminded me of the shame I felt when graduating high school what it’s really like working while traveling the nitty gritty of what’s going on behind-the-scenes of the business, the new hire we just made (woohoo, welcome to the team Stacy) how I’m prepping for the upcoming launch of Project Storyline!

Up until today, the audios you are about to listen to have remained private since their recording last January 2018. What’s extraordinary about this, is that I recorded these two audios BEFORE the Gram Slam launch. I felt compelled to record them because I knew that the energetic process of creating a mindset for success is JUST AS IMPORTANT as the strategy. Due to the practices outlined in this episode #44, I was able to manifest $100,000 in my business. If you want to learn exactly what I did, make sure to listen all the way through. When you’re done, be sure to take 3 minutes to leave a review on our iTunes podcast page! With love, xoxo Alex Things You'll Learn:- The story of how I went from $5k in the bank to $106k in a period of 10 days - An actual audio recording of me “live-manifesting” $100,000 - How I was able to create a mental and energetic state that supported me in the creation of one of my most successful launches to date.

People are obsessed with New Year's resolutions, but something that matters just as much is Old Year reflections. In other words: looking back at the past year and reflecting on what you experienced in life and business. What went right? What went wrong? What lessons did you learn? How did you grow as an individual? In Episode 43 I take you behind-the-scenes of my own personal 2018 reflections. To me, this episode felt vulnerable to record. I shared things I have *never* shared publicly before. Things that I know people could judge me for. But as we lean into 2019, one thing I’m holding onto from 2018 is how I’ve opened up and shared my truth with you in each and every single one of these episodes. So grab a hot cup of tea, snuggle up, and take a listen to how my year of 2018 went. And when you’re done - do your own reflection of 2018. Look back at old texts, your Instagram feed, old photos in your phone, your notebooks, your Notes app … search all of the places you’ve been digitally present, and see what comes up for you. Reflection on the year past is such a POWERFUL WAY to start off the New Year. So I invite you to jump in. I love you all and deeply appreciate being on this journey together.
