The Ambitious Introvert Podcast is an absolute gem for introverts, empaths, and highly sensitive people who are looking to find success in their business endeavors. Hosted by Emma-Louise Parkes, this podcast creates a haven for those of us who crave a more gentle and quiet kind of business success. The mix of practical business advice, mindset strategies, and spiritual concepts make for a well-rounded listening experience that leaves me feeling inspired and motivated.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the quality of guests that Emma-Louise brings on. She makes sure to bring on knowledgeable individuals who speak directly to introverts, empaths, and HSPs. The conversations with these guests provide insights and strategies that are specifically tailored to our unique strengths and challenges. I find myself implementing things I've learned from the podcast into my own business every week.

Another aspect that sets this podcast apart is its emphasis on highlighting the beauty of being an introvert and HSP. Emma-Louise creates a space where we feel seen and understood, celebrating our strengths rather than trying to change or overcome them. This approach is refreshing and empowering, as it helps us create success because of who we are, not in spite of it.

I also appreciate the thoughtfulness that goes into each episode of this podcast. Emma-Louise puts a lot of thought into her content and it shows in the quality and value provided in each episode. From practical tips to mindset shifts, there's never any wasted time while listening to The Ambitious Introvert.

If I had to find any criticism, it would be that sometimes the episodes can feel repetitive in terms of topics covered. While each guest brings their own unique perspective, there could be more variety in terms of subject matter to keep things fresh.

In conclusion, The Ambitious Introvert Podcast is a must-listen for introverts looking to find success in their business endeavors. Emma-Louise creates a space that celebrates and empowers introverts, empaths, and HSPs. With practical advice, mindset shifts, and spiritual concepts woven together, this podcast offers a holistic approach to achieving success on our own terms. I'm grateful for Emma-Louise and the incredible value she provides each week.

As a coach, podcaster and former air traffic controller, communicating effectively has been vital for me throughout my whole career. But communicating goes so much deeper than simply annunciating words clearly, and this week's guest on The Ambitious Introvert® Podcast is explaining why compassion is often the missing piece.Kate Brown is a coach and the founder of Calm at Work, and she believes that human connection is the key to overcoming issues in not just the workplace, but also in life. She's sharing what it means to communicate with compassion, and how understanding our needs is the first step to asking for them to be met by others. We discuss:How being able to communicate what we want and need is crucial to helping us reach our potentialExamples of how we can appear to ‘act out' when we find it hard to vocalise our needsThe different types of apology, and understanding this is similar to knowing your Love LanguageHow connecting to our humanity improves workplace well being and relationships, and makes us a better leaderThe unmet need many introverts have because they're not sure how to ask for it!As Kate says in the episode, "compassion is meeting people where they are and meeting myself where I am", which is such an empowering way to approach all types of communication.Episode Resources:Nonviolent Communication - A Language of Life by Marshall B.
