Are you truly using your time and talents for God? In this devotion from Words From The Word, Pastor Roderick Webster opens from Romans 12:1 and Hebrews 13:15-16 (KJV) to challenge every believer to examine how they are living as God's ambassador — and what sacrifices they are actually making for His glory. You might be asking: Why does doing the right thing cost so much? What does it really mean to offer a sacrifice of praise? Am I giving God enough of my time? How do I know if my talents are being used for Him?Key points from this devotion:- A living sacrifice means giving up what you could keep for a greater cause- Doing the right thing is often unpopular, but God calls us to do it anyway- Praise is an act of worship, but only when it comes from a heart that truly belongs to God- Communicating to the needs of others is itself a sacrifice that pleases God- Time and talent are gifts from God — He deserves them backIf this devotion spoke to your heart, please like, leave a comment, share it with someone who needs it, and subscribe so you never miss a word.#WordsFromTheWord #KJV #BibleDevotion #ChristianLiving #GoodNewsBaptistChurchStay connected with GNBC:
You've been told to lean in, work harder, and find more hours in the day. Lynn Bromley thinks that advice is the problem. Four terms in the Maine State Senate, New England's Small Business Advocate under the Obama Administration, and author of On the Path to Justice, Lynn joins Elyse to make the case that women don't need empowerment. We need to be unencumbered. You'll learn:- Why being a woman today is like being left-handed in a right-handed world, and what that constant friction actually costs you- The E-Cycle: how showing up extraordinary leads to exhaustion, then to seeking empowerment, then to being further encumbered- Why exhaustion is a symptom of a systemic problem, not evidence that you need a better system- The difference between doing the task and holding the outcome, and why women almost always hold the outcome- The two extra hours of unpaid labor women do every day, and what Lynn's audience said they would do with that time backIf you have been quietly blaming yourself for being tired, this conversation will give you a different explanation. It is not that you are doing it wrong. It is that you are carrying more than anyone is counting.

Maybe you're becoming.

Have you ever looked back at a relationship and wondered, How did I stay so long when I knew something wasn't right? In this episode, we're unpacking a powerful truth that many people struggle to admit: intelligence does not protect you from toxic relationships. In fact, the very qualities that make someone thoughtful, capable, and self-aware can sometimes keep them stuck longer. We explore why smart, self-aware people often stay in unhealthy or emotionally abusive relationships, including how empathy, problem-solving, overanalysis, and a deep desire to understand others can unintentionally keep you trapped in difficult dynamics. You'll learn how the brain's need for explanation, closure, and resolution can create powerful mental and emotional loops, and why understanding the relationship isn't always enough to break free from it.In this episode, we discuss:• Why intelligent, capable people stay in toxic or emotionally abusive relationships • The role of subconscious programming and attachment patterns • How overthinking and analysis can keep you stuck in relationship loops • Why intermittent reinforcement makes toxic dynamics so hard to leave • The difference between understanding your patterns and actually changing them • How to start identifying the deeper beliefs and emotional patterns that keep pulling you backIf you've ever struggled with rumination after a breakup, emotional abuse recovery, toxic relationship patterns, or trusting yourself again, this episode will help you understand what's really happening beneath the surface. We'll also touch on ideas from my upcoming book, Hack Your Mind, Heal Your Heart, where I explain how subconscious patterns shape the way we think, react, and stay stuck in relationship cycles—and what it actually takes to interrupt those patterns so you can move forward with clarity and self-trust.If you're ready to stop overanalyzing the past and start changing the patterns that keep repeating it, this episode is for you. Keywords: toxic relationships, emotional abuse recovery, why smart people stay in toxic relationships, trauma bonding, rumination after breakup, relationship psychology, subconscious patterns, narcissistic relationships, healing after emotional abuse, overthinking relationships, break toxic relationship patterns, trust yourself again, personal growth podcast.Support the showTo learn more about my Programs visit the websitewww.radiatenrise.comEmail: Allison@radiatenrise.comFree 30 Min Root Cause CallJoin Radiate and Rise Together - Survivor Healing Community for Women GET YOUR FREE AUDIOTo send a DM, visit Allison's profiles on Instagram and Facebookhttps://www.instagram.com/allisonkdagney/https://www.facebook.com/allisonkdagney/*Formerly (The Emotional Abuse Recovery Podcast)

Can one person save a marriage? Why do so many couples feel disconnected even when they still care about each other? And what actually helps when a relationship feels stuck or broken? In this episode of Let's Not Sugarcoat It, Bella and Lee sit down with Lee Baucom, PhD, creator of the Save the Marriage System, relationship coach, author, and host of the Save the Marriage Podcast.Together, they unpack why so many marriages break down, why traditional couples therapy does not always work, and how couples can begin rebuilding connection before disconnection turns into crisis.Lee shares his perspective on the real issue beneath many struggling marriages: not communication, but disconnection. He explains how couples often “hit the pause button” on their relationship while focusing on career, parenting, responsibilities, and life stress — only to later realize they have drifted apart. This conversation covers marriage recovery, emotional safety, conflict, mattering, consistency, reconnection, and how one person can begin changing the relationship dynamic. In this episode, we talk about:why marriages break down over timewhy communication is often not the real problemwhy traditional marriage counseling may not always helpwhether one person can start saving a marriagewhat “hitting pause” in a relationship looks likehow to rebuild connection in small, practical wayswhy feeling like you matter is essential in marriagehow couples can move forward instead of trying to go backIf your marriage feels distant, stuck, or like you are living in maintenance mode, this episode offers both hope and practical insight.Because healthy relationships do not fall apart overnight. And they do not heal overnight either. They heal through intention, consistency, and learning how to reconnect.Connect with Lee Baucom:Save the Marriage: SaveTheMarriage.comUnpause Your Marriage: UnpauseYourMarriage.com

What matters after decades of building, losing, and rebuilding? In this episode of KP Unpacked, KP Reddy turns 55, and Nick uses the milestone for a lightning round conversation exploring career highs, crushing losses, and the philosophy that's shaped three decades of entrepreneurship. From living in a truck eating 19-cent tuna to running a VC fund, KP reflects on the moments that actually stuck and why they weren't the trophy wins. The conversation moves between tactical and existential. KP explains how Claude Cowork is now his nurse practitioner (drafting insurance appeals, scheduling appointments, analyzing x-rays), why he runs four Mac Studios doing different jobs while he unpacks office furniture, and why the future of CRM is taking people to lunch instead of data entry. But the deeper thread is about identity: why his worst fear (going back to zero) doesn't actually scare him, why his family has more confidence in him than he has in himself, and why the 2008 financial crisis validated the self-doubt that still drives him today.Key topics covered:Why KP spent his 55th birthday at the DMV after his assistant cleared his calendar without askingHow Claude became his healthcare coordinator and delivered better emotional support than his momThe blank slate moment after his first exit paying off the house and feeling peace, not accomplishmentLiving in a truck with sleeves of tuna and stolen mayo packets and why going back doesn't scare himThe 2008 crisis, personal guarantees, and why losing everything validated his lack of confidenceWhy "celebrating small wins" is for people not building unicorns assume wins, magnify lossesVibe working: running four Mac Studios with Claude Cowork while doing manual labor he actually wants to doWhy relationship-driven CRM beats software: take engineers to lunch after RFP meetings, not Salesforce data entryThe manager vs. maker schedule and why KP operates at sprint speed with no please-and-thank-yousMorning meditation as leadership: visualizing every founder and team member's context before the workdayWhy one founder said "I can feel when you're praying for me" and what that reveals about leading mission-driven teamsThe 10-year goal isn't three private jets, it's building community where all LPs are former founders who exited and came backIf you're navigating what success looks like after the wins, trying to lead without micromanaging while operating at full speed, or wondering whether your worst-case scenario is actually that bad, this episode will reframe how you think about ambition, fear, and what matters most.Listen now.BuildingWorks & Brookwood Sponsors

In this episode, we focus on: Avoiding discomfort can disguise as being practical, but it holds you backIf you keep telling yourself you're not afraid of discomfort, but you keep saying “now's not the right time” or “I've got to be smart about this,” this episode puts a spotlight on what's really getting avoided. It's usually not the work. It's the feeling that comes with the work: awkwardness, being exposed, looking unprepared, being wrong. You'll hear how avoiding uncomfortable feelings can feel like control in the moment, but it's a trade. Short-term emotional relief gets purchased with limited long-term improvement, and the cost shows up later. A line from Amy Morin frames it simply: avoidance offers immediate relief, but it can create long-term consequences. The episode breaks down how avoidance can shrink your world over time. You say no more often. Hesitation gets longer. What starts as “stability” turns into a quieter kind of stuck. It also draws a clean line between recovery and retreat. One helps you move forward. The other just keeps you comfortable. There are concrete places this shows up at work: dodging difficult conversations, staying in roles where you already know the game, and avoiding real feedback. Not encouragement, not validation, but the kind of input that exposes blind spots and tests your confidence. When you stay slightly invisible, you stay static, and static is falling behind in slow motion. It also calls out the cover stories: “practical,” “rational,” “protecting my energy,” “I don't want the added responsibility.” If you feel defensive when someone questions a “practical” choice, that's a cue to ask: if discomfort wasn't part of this, would you still choose the same thing?Share this episode with someone who could benefit from the information.CONNECT WITH THE PODCAST:IG: https://www.instagram.com/paulpantani/WEBSITE: https://www.transitiondrillpodcast.comLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/paulpantani/SIGN-UP FOR THE NEWSLETTER:https://transitiondrillpodcast.com/home#aboutQUESTIONS OR COMMENTS:paul@transitiondrillpodcast.com

Don't let your success plateau because your messaging hasn't kept up. If you're building toward your next big revenue goal, I know that one of the biggest fears is like taking your foot off of what is working to take the leap to the next thing. You know how to sell this offer, attract your ideal client, and how to speak to them where they think “oh, that's me!” And this creates some predictability and safety and security. But deep down, you know that you've evolved, grown, changed. You're being called higher. You're meant for more…And yet, you've spent so much time and energy building a brand and credibility talking about this one thing, that it is now terrifying to shift. So how do you take the leap and get comfortable in the discomfort? You're seeing this revenue plateau or even a dip because you have evolved.
