In this episode of The Greater Heritage podcast we review Overcoming Apathy: Gospel Hope for Those Who Struggle to Care by Uche Anizor and published by Crossway.About the book: In Overcoming Apathy, theology professor Uche Anizor explains what apathy is and gives practical, biblical advice to break the cycle. Inspired by his conversations with young Christians as well as his own experiences with apathy, Anizor takes a fresh look at this widespread problem and its effect on spiritual maturity.About the author: Uche Anizor (Phd, Wheaton College) is an associate professor of theology at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. His other books include How to Read Theology and Representing Christ. He is married to Melissa and they have three children.Book Review SummaryWhile it sometimes bites off more than it can chew, Overcoming Apathy: Gospel Hope for Those Who Struggle to Care by Uche Anizor comes recommended as not only a good starting point for those in need of healing from apathy, but as a title that provokes questions that can help us step away from the trivial, away from ourselves and back to living in God's story and with Him as our purpose as it invites us to start the journey back to what really matters (God and His glory).Recommended.–Intro and outro music provided by John Fairfull.Discover more podcast episodes like this Uche Anizor book review. He is also the author of the Suffering and the Christian Life series published by Crossway, including When the Stars Disappear and Give Me Understanding That I May Live.Mark spoke once before on the podcast about suffering, but in this episode we turn our attention to the important and vital topic of reading. In America today, 54% of adults read below the equivalent of a sixth-grade level (Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy) and in Central Florida 1 in 4 read at or below a 5th grade level (The Adult Literacy League).Additionally, 14% of Americans in 2021 read their Bible daily while only 10% did so in 2022 (American Bible Society, The State of the Bible USA 2022 Survey). Lastly, Ligonier Ministries' bi-annual State of Theology Survey shows that 53% of U.S. adults believe that the Bible is not literally true, the first time there has been a majority who believe that in the survey, and up from 41% in 2014.The numbers don't lie, the poor state of reading and literacy in America today is alarming, especially among Christians. Many factors are contributing to America's literacy woes, including a plethora of distractions, celebrities discouraging reading, people's inclination to listen to audio-books instead of reflecting on written words, and a reliance on transactional (blogs, Tweets, short form content) instead of transformative (physical books, long form content) reading.Dr. Talbot discusses all of this and more in the episode. He also considers ways of reading well in an age of distraction including helpful tools and tips for training our minds to read and comprehend better. As Mark points out, understanding takes time and effort. It requires that we get outside ourselves to grow. However, when we take the time to allow books to work on us, they produce a new kind of life in us (Matt. 4:4).We also discuss the benefits of reading, how to both approach and read the Bible well, and we even look at thoughts from great minds past like Marcel Proust and John Milton to see what they can teach us about reading.Lastly, we consider methods for teaching reading in church and classroom settings, including an illuminating talk about how to study the Bible and some of our favorite book recommendations.Mark's insights provide a great synthesis on the current state of reading and what we can all do to become great thinkers. We look forward to having Dr. Talbot back on the podcast soon.

In this episode of The Greater Heritage podcast we review Reactivity: How the Gospel Transforms Our Actions and Reactions by Paul David Tripp and published by Crossway.About the book: Digital media and technology are altering the way people act—and react—toward each other. Criticism, outrage, and controversy dominate social engagement and unfortunately many Christians have joined in the chaos. This book instructs believers to view digital media and technology through the lens of the gospel and points them toward a biblical framework for communication.About the author: Paul David Tripp is a pastor, award-winning author, and international conference speaker. He posts daily on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook and has written numerous books, including the best-selling daily devotional, New Morning Mercies. His nonprofit ministry exists to connect the transforming power of Jesus Christ to everyday life. Tripp lives in Philadelphia with his wife of 50+ years, Luella, and they have four grown children.Book ReviewIn an age of digital divisions and toxic communication, Paul Tripp's Reactivity teaches us to consider our motives, and intentions when we react and speak to others. He does this by providing readers a biblical framework of communication that's a welcomed alternative to the critical, selfish and reactive language found in much of the world today. The book is easy to read and highly practical, yet it also does what all great books do, it unfurls from its main premise into something grand.Tripp's narrative causes the reader to travel down little passages of conviction and transformation as it details topics as varied as glory, grace, sin, eternity, dignity and much more, yet it's premise, how to communicate biblically in a digital age, always shines through.According to Tripp, and Scripture, the way we talk to others must be driven by grace. We also must look beyond ourselves and focus on God's will and glory and the needs of others when we react and communicate. For its ability to help us reconsider what we think about what we say and how we say it, Paul David Tripp's Reactivity: How the Gospel Transforms Our Actions and Reactions is an exceptional book that convicts and transforms us to adopt Gospel and grace centered wholesome communication.Highly recommended.–Intro and outro music provided by John Fairfull.Discover more podcast episodes like this Paul Tripp Reactivity book review. Proverbs 4:14-19 (KJV)Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men.  Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. In this podcast episode we study Proverbs 4:14-19, which teaches us to avoid the path of wickedness, and instead choose the path of the just and righteous.Specifically, we then look at the path of the just, and learn that when we live to follow Jesus our Christian lives gets better and better spiritually as we are made more like him and get ever closer to being with him and like him in eternity. It's not that our lives get necessarily better physically or materially, none of that is promised in scripture. However, when we commit to Christ and allow him to work and lead, our lives will get better spiritually.Christians are promised that no matter what befalls them, no matter what happens, he will continue and finish what he started in us (Phil. 1:6).We're chosen to be and are being conformed to him, and changed into his image (Rom. 8:29, 2 Cor. 3:18). That's what he does for us on the path of the righteous. May each of us follow the path of the righteous closely and cling to Jesus, and along way may we bring others into God's family of light, calling them out of the darkness just as we were once called out to live in God's marvelous light (1 Pet. 2:9).–Verses mentioned in this episode: Prov. 4:14-19, Ps. 119:105, Jn. 8:12, Matt. 5:14, 1 Jn. 1:7, Jas. 1:17, Matt. 7:13, Jn. 3:19-20, Eph. 2:2-4, Heb. 10:20, Rom. 8:29, 2 Cor. 3:18, Phil. 1:6, Rom. 11:36, Rev. 22:5, 1 Jn. 3:2, Ps. 27:1, 1 Pet. 2:9, 1 Jn. 2:11, Dan. 12:3.Intro and outro music provided by Five Minute Plan.Discover more podcast episodes like this one about becoming better in the Christian life. How do you design a well-run, effective and biblical Children's ministry? Why is child evangelism so critical for the church? What kind of work is being done at the front lines and in our schools to lead children to Christ? In this episode of The Greater Heritage podcast we talk about all of this and more with Mark Robb, Local Director for Child Evangelism Fellowship's East Central Florida Chapter. The importance of child evangelism cannot be stated enough. Today nearly 80% of American children are outside the walls of the local church, yet roughly 80% of people come to know Christ as their savior before the age of 14. This makes children's ministry at once the most neglected yet most fruitful branch of ministry. For 85 years CEF has been at the helm of child evangelism and helping bridge the gap between churches, communities and schools through their wonderful work and resources. For those unfamiliar, Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) is a Bible-centered organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living. Ever look in the mirror and realize that you've aged? Maybe your youth's supple features have given way to time's wrinkles? Or perhaps you're not quite as fast, quick witted or energetic as you used to be?At one time or another we've all had to come to grips with the realization that our bodies are finite. Sure, we're born strong and we tend to feel invincible when we're young, but even the young are not immune to the human body's fragility. Bones break on the sports field, bruises and cuts are the common battle scars of playground games and so on.Fact is, we're all aging, our bodies have limits and they won't last forever. As such, we all groan to be rid of our decaying bodies. However, if you know Jesus as your savior you don't merely groan because your mortal physical body ails you and you want to be rid of it, as the lost do. Rather, Christians groan for a bigger reason which Paul makes clear in the opening verses of 2 Corinthians 5.In this episode we look at Paul's statements about the afterlife in this passage, and learn how, as believers, we groan not just because our bodies age but because we desire to be clothed with our immortal heavenly body which will be eternal, and when Jesus comes back, physical - the culmination of everything God originally designed for us to be at creation. We will also see how the promise of our eternal body gives us a real and lively hope, inspires our witness, and enables us to live a life marked by fearlessness.–Intro and outro music provided by Five Minute Plan. She has also worked on numerous solo projects, including most recently The Map Project Parts 1 & 2, and she is involved in various ministries as well.Throughout the episode, Jo shares about her early years as a missionary child, her transition from med-school to music and memorable highlights from her inspiring career.Other topics of interest include candid conversations on the importance of Biblical literacy, apologetics and advice for young musicians.Specifically, one of the biggest pieces of advice she gives for young artists is that they take responsibility for their choices instead of always trying to figure out what God wants them to do.As she states: “God is less concerned about which thing you choose. He's more concerned about how your attitude is to other people and what your mindset is. Don't stress about the details that you think God might want you to do, because you don't have to change the world to validate your existence.”Throughout Jo also talks about how the recent pandemic caused her to confront what she really believed about Christianity. For her, this involved moving away from defining truth by emotional experiences, subjective feelings, and extra-Biblical revelations and instead learning truth solely from what God says in his word.Ultimately, Jo's story illustrates how Christians need to be equipped to give a reason for the hope they have. (1 Pet. 3:15)Moreover, her insights encourage us to return to God's word as the sole authority for our lives.–You can follow Jo via Bandcamp, email, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and on her website. To listen to more episodes like this Joanne Hogg interview, subscribe. In this episode of The Greater Heritage podcast we review What's the Difference?: Manhood and Womanhood Defined According to the Bible by John Piper and published by Crossway.John Piper is founder and teacher of desiringGod.org and chancellor of Bethlehem College & Seminary. He has authored numerous books. What does the Bible say about men and women? How are they to relate to one another? These are the subjects of this excellent primer on Biblical manhood and womanhood by John Piper.Throughout the book Piper provides compelling reasons and practical examples for why mature masculinity and femininity give men and women the greatest scope for natural, pure and mature expression. The book's greatest strength is that it sets in focus men and women's heart attitudes, general dispositions and intentions as the motivations from which the actions of Biblically mature masculinity and femininity spring.Because of this, men and women can act as God has designed them to act even in difficult situations and circumstances. For example, a man that is wheelchair bound can still be willing and act in way that is inclined to care for, provide and protect his wife even if he is physically unable to do so because he acts from a heart that desires to treat his wife as God has designed him to.Thus, What's the Difference also teaches that God's glory is the object and reason for why Christian men and women are to relate to each other as God designed them to.We highly recommended the book as a concise but thorough treatment on complementary male and female relations from a balanced Biblical view that treats God as the object and reason for how Christians are to relate to the opposite sex.–To listen to more book reviews like this Biblical gender roles book review, subscribe. Are you a Christian writer looking to publish? God cannot be confined to a specific place, nor do we have to go to certain locations to be with him.God is always with us and that's comforting.Second, even in a world tinged and scarred with sin, God is still Lord of heaven and earth. He still protects, upholds and cares for us by giving us a home and all things in a universe intelligently designed by him. Moreover and thirdly, God is Lord of heaven and earth and gives everyone life and breath. Without it God's Word and system mean nothing. It is vital then that we be taught clearly the important implications of Jesus's resurrection.Dodson, in this short but no less rich book, does just that. In it, he mines the treasures of Paul's resurrection theology given in 1 Corinthians 15.He teaches readers in a clear and understandable manner the importance of the resurrection while also showing the many errors of rejecting Jesus's resurrection.Highlights include discussions on ways to live a “resurrection shaped life,” a wonderfully thorough outlining of what believers resurrected bodies will be like when Jesus returns, and most importantly, reasons for why Jesus's resurrection is to be the galvanizing force behind our joy and eternal hope.A great book about an important topic and written by a sound pastor.Highly recommend, especially as a primer on resurrection theology.–To discover more book reviews like this Rhett Dodson book review, subscribe to our email list.Intro and outro music provided by Five Minute Plan. He was chaplain to Oliver Cromwell, vice chancellor of Oxford, and dean of Christ Church Cathedral. Many regard him as one of the greatest seventeenth-century English theologians. The sermons in Searching Our Hearts in Difficult Times were written during a time of great spiritual decline in the Colonies and in England. It was a time not altogether different from our own; a time when Gospel truths needed to be communicated to the hearts of not just individuals but to entire nations. As such, Owen wrote many of the sermons throughout the book in order to prevent and cure the spiritual decay rampant in his congregations and in England. They are pastoral, expository and applicable. Topics include overcoming sin, using faith to press on in hard times and the importance of taking God's warnings seriously.Searching Our Hearts in Difficult Times is at once deeply convicting and thought provoking.Don't let its modest size fool you, this humble tome is jam-packed with rich theology and comes highly recommended.-To discover more book reviews like this John Owen book review, subscribe to our email list.Intro and outro music provided by Five Minute Plan. In fact, regardless of what others will think, our Christian service will never fail as long as we focus on Jesus.Lastly, we consider the deep personal and financial costs Mary endured as a result of her use of priceless ointment to anoint Jesus. This teaches us that there are costs associated with serving Jesus, but that such costs are always appreciated by him. Also included in the lesson is a brief survey of the village of Bethany, including its geographic significance and many asides into the culture of the day that give a well-rounded view of the account. To discover more podcast episodes and Bible studies like this one on the anointing at Bethany, subscribe to our email list.Verses featured in this episode: Matthew 26:6-13, Mark 14:3-9 and John 12:1-8.Intro and outro music provided by Five Minute Plan. Psalm 16:2-3 (KJV)We make much ado about heroes today. In fact, it is as if we live in a world where everyone wants to be recognized as a hero.Signs abound all over that say things like “Not all superheroes wear capes,” and “Heroes work here.”While its perfectly fine to respect and honor others, sometimes we can take things a little too far.To that point, much of those in contemporary culture think of themselves as heroes, citing just about any activity as evidence to underwrite their heroic stature.Again, its not wrong to look up to others, but who can Christians look to as their heroes?According to David, it was the saints that were in the earth and the excellent that he was most delighted with. He served for ten years as General Director and Bible Teacher for Back to the Bible. Dr. Wiersbe authored more than 80 books, including the best-selling "BE" series. He was known as a "pastors' pastor," and his speaking, writing and radio ministries brought new understanding of the truths of God's Word to people around the world. To follow is an abbreviated review, for a more detailed review please listen to the full episode above.Abbreviated ReviewIts rare to be able to pick up a Bible commentary set and walk away in a relatively short time with a thorough understanding about passages of scripture. Usually commentaries are too brief or far too in depth. However, The Bible Exposition Commentary hits the sweet spot between those extremes, making it one of the most versatile Bible commentary sets around.I really can't think of anyone who wouldn't benefit from having it on their shelf. What also makes this set shine is its pastoral approach. Each commentary contains numerous asides from Warren, illustrations and sermon ready expositions. This makes the set immensely valuable for sermon and Sunday school lesson preparation. Its also nice to see that Warren was not afraid to share his views. It further complements his conversational and approachable style throughout. While I have not read every part of the set, which is how it is for all commentary sets I review, it airs on the conservative side of Biblical scholarship, and is highly theologically sound throughout which is, above all else, the most essential factor in determining the worth of commentary sets.In terms of cost, if you wait you can often find the set on sale, especially around the holidays, for around $40 to $50 which is a huge bargain.ConclusionThe Bible Exposition Commentary is one of the most versatile, and accessible commentary sets around. Its sound as well.Overall, it is the perfect set for lay ministers, Sunday school teachers and those looking for a nice compliment or step up from a study Bible yet who do not want to wade into overly complex theological territory.Ultimately, an indispensable, practical resource for all levels of readers. Dr. Lawson hosts The Institute for Expository Preaching in cities around the world. Dr. Lawson is also a Teaching Fellow for Ligonier Ministries, where he serves on its board. Moreover, he is Professor of Preaching and oversees the Doctor of Ministry program at The Master's Seminary, where he also serves on its board.Steven Lawson Book ReviewIn this primer on the attributes of God, Dr. Lawson reinforces the importance of knowing who God is.It is modeled after the passage in Exodus when Moses asked God to show him His glory. (Exo. 33:18)I watched a Q&A with Ligonier Ministries once where Dr. Lawson was asked what most informs a person's theology. His response was that our understanding and knowledge of God is what informs our theology the most.He was spot on. Knowing God is the most important thing that Christians can do to grow in Christ. That means studying who God is from His own revelation in scripture alone.Dr. Lawson's book is one of the more dense (though not in the academic sense) on the subject of God's attributes that I own.Throughout its nearly 300 pages, Steven presents subjects including God's glory, wisdom, goodness, truthfulness, holiness, love, grace, wrath and many others. There is a lot of content in this book. That's both good and bad.It is probably best to be read in bits and pieces than in one sitting, because Lawson writes in short sentences a lot, which I found made it a little hard to get through. Not to mention the book's plethora of content.Nevertheless, he is very clear in what he writes, plus everything in this book is saturated with scripture which is awesome, and though it might not appeal as much to non-Calvinist readers it it still worth picking up for the shear breadth of its content.Ultimately, the book absolutely shines as a reference work. For example, Show Me Your Glory would be a great resource whenever someone has a question about God's character traits.ConclusionDespite being a little hard to read for long stretches of time, we recommend Show Me Your Glory for the shear depth of its content and for its adherence to the Bible. It comes especially recommended as a nice general index on the attributes of God, and one that would be a great aid to ministers, teachers and students.Intro and outro music provided by Five Minute Plan. In this episode of The Greater Heritage podcast we review the Francis Schaeffer TV series How Should We Then Live?  available at Vision Video and Amazon Prime.Francis A. Schaeffer was one evangelical Christianity's foremost philosophers and theologians of the 20th century. He was also a committed apologist for the Christian faith, and frequent author. In 1955, he and his wife Edith establish the L'Abri Fellowship in Switzerland as a place for people to ask honest questions about life and Christianity. The organization is still around today, as are Schaeffer's over 20 books. In 1977, Schaeffer broke into the world of television with the series How Should We Then Live? He developed the series as a response to Kenneth Clark's 1969 art and world history series Civilisation. However, while exceptional in its own right, Civilisation's view of world history was entirely humanistic. So, Schaeffer set out to do a series that got to heart of the meaning of history, namely that it is first and foremost God's story.Across the series' 10 episodes, he takes viewers on a journey through the Roman era, Middle Ages and Renaissance, and the age of non-reason, until finally stopping in the contemporary world. The primary thesis for the show, is that God is the only source of absolutes. He then explains, in a clear and profound manner throughout the show, how mankind is inherently rebellious against God.Nevertheless, the creator God is personal, infinite and has revealed Himself through the Bible and creation. Therefore, when man follows God and starts with Him as the source of meaning and purpose he finds peace, salvation, strength, meaning, law, order and answers to his deepest questions and needs. However, when man follows himself, and starts from within to find meaning and purpose, instead of by starting with God, it only leads him to apathy, and despair. It is within this tension that history has found itself since the fall in the Garden of Eden. How Should We Then Live? is nothing short of spectacular. In the end, Schaeffer demonstrates how man's designs for life are nothing more than circles in the sand. One decade the rules are represented by one man-made circle, then in another man crosses that circle out and forms a new one.History, without God, is a never ending series of futile attempts for man to be his own measure, until finally the ocean of God's return washes it all away.Francis A. Schaeffer was one of the leading Christian thinkers of the 20th century, and How Should We Then Live? is just as sound, profound and stirring as the man himself.Highest recommendation!Intro and outro music provided by Five Minute Plan. IntroductionIn this episode of The Greater Heritage podcast we review The Gospel According to Satan: Eight Lies about God that Sound Like the Truth. It is a Jared Wilson book published by Thomas Nelson.Apologetics is one of my favorite branches of theology. If you've listed to our podcast before, that's probably not a surprise to you. The Gospel According to Satan is an excellent book on the subject, particularly as it clarifies many things that sound right about Christianity, but are actually completely un-Biblical lies perpetuated by Satan. It manages to teach doctrine without confusing readers too. It is also filled with practical pastoral tips as it gets to the heart of some of the most pressing questions facing contemporary man.Jared Wilson Book Review (The Gospel According to Satan)Jared Wilson's book looks at how Satan deceives and distorts gospel truths through lies that sound appealing. As he puts it, Satan does not want us to think thoughts about God at all. However, if we do the next best thing is for him to get us thinking wrong thoughts about God.From this jumping off point, Wilson teaches readers how to focus on what God really said, instead of what the devil tries to make us think He said (a strategy that Adam and Eve fell prey to in the Garden of Eden).Throughout the book, he explores 8 different lies of Satan that sound true, but are not.For example, God Just Wants You to Be Happy, You Need to Live Your Truth, Your Feelings Are Reality, You Need to Let Go and Let God and more.Along the way, issues such as antinomianism, legalism and relativism present themselves in a easy to understand manner.Wilson also gives readers a healthy dose of theological history, including a discussion about the Keswick movement for example. My biggest personal takeaways were the book's emphasis on God's desiring of our holiness over our happiness, and how pain, even when we don't understand it, has meaning. In addition, his pastoral anecdotes, introspection and keen knowledge of contemporary issues add credibility and really resonated with me.ConclusionOverall, The Gospel According to Satan is a readable, practical, current, and doctrinally clarifying book that I recommend to all readers, especially those with questions about Christianity.Intro and outro music provided by Five Minute Plan. In Part 2 of 2 of Sin, Salvation, and Sanctification: A Blueprint for the 21st Century Church, we look at The World Changing Church. We show how churches can affect true and lasting positive social change. This can only be accomplished by making people aware of sin which is the root cause of all of the world's problems. From there we advocate that churches teach and preach the saving grace of God from sin. Lastly, we propose that churches proclaim the doctrine of sanctification, that by it believers will strive to be more like Christ. Ultimately, this blueprint of sin, salvation and sanctification, lets the church send kingdom citizens back into the world where they will in turn influence it for the better.Though this approach, the church will change the world one heart at a time.Intro and outro music provided by Five Minute Plan. The world claims that Biblical Christianity and traditional societal values and gender roles keep women from expressing themselves, reaching goals and achieving success. However, what if women actually like how God has designed them and enjoy living out His will? It is our belief that countless women do, and that they need not be afraid of that. In this episode of The Greater Heritage podcast we review The Whole Counsel of God: Why and How to Preach the Entire Bible by Tim Patrick and Andrew Reid, and published by Crossway.Sadly, not all churches preach the entire Bible. Often today sermons are topical, short and focus more on the highlights of scripture. However, just because it is easy to approach church programming in this manner does not mean that it is best way to foster healthy and mature church communities. The Word of God must be the centerpiece. Ample time needs to be devoted to organizing and planning preaching programs that relate to the entirety of scripture. The best programs are well-defined, thought out and intentional. However, trying to develop a long-term plan can feel like a daunting challenge. So, where do you even begin? Thankfully, The Whole Counsel of God is a great help in this regard.  The goal of the book, as stated by its authors is that: "All vocational preachers should set themselves the goal of preaching through the entire Bible over a thirty-five year period."The book offers readers with practical insights and tangible takeaways regarding the development of long-term, theologically sound, preaching programs. The book teaches readers how to choose which books of the Bible to preach including when and how much at a given time. It also goes further and shows to how properly divide books of the Bible by topic and then by chapter. It then articulates how to map out (though generous pie chart and spreadsheet examples) a balanced preaching calendar. While long-term programming is the primary topic of the book, it also gives readers lots of nice, practical tips about studying the Bible, marketing sermons and ensuring that congregations are always receiving a steady and balanced diet of scripture. This was one of the more practical books we have read in a while. Lay readers will walk away with a better appreciation for their churches and ministers. However, we especially recommend this book for church staff members and for those who preach and teach the Bible regularly. Simply put, if you want to preach better, check this one out.Intro and outro music provided by Five Minute Plan. In this episode of our podcast series Going through Galatians we look at how Paul teaches us the immense eternal plan inherent in our salvation. Our salvation always pleases God, no matter when God has ordained for the day of our salvation to be. This is because it is the outworking of His great plan for all who will be saved.Paul shows how God's plan of salvation encompasses four major steps. First, God chooses, then He calls, next He reveals Jesus in us and lastly he sets us out to accomplish His plan for us.Paul's response to his newfound faith involved wise discernment and deliberate preparation. He did not jump into his vocation as a preacher but instead took time to learn from God and the Bible. He didn't get ahead of himself or God and that's an important lesson for all of us to follow. Intro and outro music provided by Five Minute Plan.
