He was ordained a half-century ago. He remembers when reverence was expected, when the tabernacle was central, when Catholics knew what they believed and why. Then came the changes, and everything flipped.Father Richard Perricone joins John-Henry Westen to chronicle the transformation that has left the Church unrecognizable. Reverence became taboo. The sacred became optional. The priesthood became confused. And the laity, trained for generations to trust their shepherds, were suddenly told that the faith they had received could be rewritten, reimagined, or simply abandoned.Perricone does not blame Vatican II alone. He blames what came after: the systematic dismantling of Catholic identity by men who saw tradition as an obstacle and ambiguity as a virtue. The loss of the Latin Mass. The sidelining of the tabernacle. The confusion over confession. The collapse of religious orders. The silence of bishops who should have spoken.HELP SUPPORT WORK LIKE THIS: https://give.lifesitenews.com/?utm_source=SOCIAL U.S. residents! Kala'i Pomroy and James Shaw are musical artists from the Big Island of Hawai'i. These Hilo boys are now based on Oʻahu, and represent a new generation of local music — one that blends island reggae, R&B, hip-hop, and pop into something that feels both rooted and global at the same time. Their breakout track Keep Me In Mind helped put them on the map, and since then they've continued to build momentum with songs like Thyme, POUNDTOWN, Peaches, Sunshine, and Long Day.They've performed on platforms like HI Sessions, HI Now, and Sugarshack Sessions, and recently released their debut project Sink or Swim, collaborating with artists like HIRIE and Likkle Jordee, the Steppas, and 8R08 along the way.In this episode we talk story about growing up in Hilo, how they became friends, the start of their music career, their hustle to make money, taking a break to refocus, their reemergence to the music scene, their first album, and so much more. Enjoy!Full episodes:
A lot of women can pinpoint a season of life where their body seemed to suddenly change. After the divorce. After caregiving. After burnout. After the surgery. After the illness. After the loss. After the years of chronic stress. Weight changed. Energy changed. Sleep changed. Blood sugar changed. Everything felt harder. And many women quietly say the same thing: "Everything changed after that." In this episode, I explore the connection between stress, survival, trauma, nervous system strain, metabolic health, and the physical cost of years spent compensating. Not from a fear-based or oversimplified perspective. But from the perspective of women who have spent years being "fine" while carrying more than their body was designed to sustain long term. This episode is for the woman who has ever wondered: "What if my body isn't betraying me… what if it's revealing something?" We talk about: • chronic stress and metabolic adaptation • emotional survival and body change • why high-functioning women often miss their own burnout • the connection between life events and physical symptoms • nervous system strain and midlife health • why some women feel like their body changed overnight This may be one of the most important conversations I've had yet about the intersection between lived experience and physical health. There are wounds that time doesn't completely erase. There are betrayals that still find their way into our thoughts, our dreams, and our hearts years later. This week on Have Faith Let It Begin, I'm opening up about one of the most difficult chapters of my life. The series is called CHEATED. Not just being cheated on in relationships, but being cheated by people, cheated by broken trust, cheated by fear, and even the times we cheat ourselves out of the life God intended for us. If you've ever been betrayed... If you've ever had your trust broken... If you've ever struggled to move forward after heartbreak... This series is for you. Because your story is not over. God still writes the final chapter.

At 29 years old, Matt Grace weighed 129 pounds and walked into his mother's house after a three-day crack and alcohol binge. She told him that if he was going to die, it would not be in her house. That was the boundary that started everything. On this episode of The Hard Way, Joe De Sena sits down with Matt Grace, author of God Doesn't Relapse: Sex, Drugs, and the Life That Almost Killed Me, a former ABC TV reporter who overdosed in a newsroom and spent 13 years destroying every relationship through addiction, manipulation, and enabling. Matt breaks down how his father's well-intentioned spoiling robbed him of grit and ambition, how his family's enabling nearly killed him, and what happened the morning he got on his knees with a rifle beside him and prayed out of sheer desperation. They also dig into why parents loving their kids too much can be a death sentence, why service is the foundation of lasting recovery, and how structured accountability and community pull people out of destruction. Things You Will Learn: Why enabling and over-providing destroys a young person's ambition and capacity to endure hardship. The difference between a boundary that saves a life and a rescue that ends one, and what it takes to hold the line. Why service and community replace the void that addiction fills, and why recovery without purpose does not hold. Tools & Frameworks Covered: Hard Boundary Setting: Draw the line. Hold the line. Let consequences teach what words cannot. Service as Structure: Replace self-obsession with outward action. One hour helping someone else is one hour not destroying yourself. Earned Identity Over Given Identity: Stop handing outcomes to your kids. Let them grind. Let them earn. The struggle builds the person. If this episode moved you, do not just listen. Do something about it. Sign up. Show up. Do the work. Spartan.com. No more excuses. Matt Grace is an author and transformational recovery expert who has spent more than two decades sober after overcoming addiction himself. With a degree in Addiction Studies and over 10,000 hours mentoring individuals and families, he has dedicated his life to helping people break destructive cycles and rebuild their lives. Today's conversation is one that so many mothers will feel deep in their bones because it talks about what happens when life asks you to be the one who needs care. Our guest today has lived that shift in a profound way. In the midst of raising her young children, navigating the everyday chaos and fiercely advocating for her youngest daughter, Nylah, who was born with congenital heart disease, Nisha Jaime was suddenly diagnosed with breast cancer. There is an emotional whiplash to being the strong one for your child and then suddenly needing that same strength for yourself. Nisha will talk to us about what that was like and how she balanced it all with the help of her village. We'll talk about the ongoing realities of survivorship, including things like scanxiety and continued care and how her children are involved in her journey. Most importantly, we'll hear how she has turned her experience into support for other mothers walking a similar path and why that mission matters so deeply to her.
Before Gamal 'G' Turawa ever put on a police uniform, he lived a life that would take most people a lifetime to make sense of. Raised by a white foster family in Kent, removed from the only home he knew at just eight years old, and subjected to years of abuse at the hands of his biological father — G's early years were defined by displacement, confusion, and survival. At sixteen, he was tricked onto a plane to Nigeria — a country that was supposed to be part of who he was, but felt entirely foreign. What followed were years of homelessness on the streets of Lagos, witnessing things that would shape him in ways he's only recently begun to fully understand. A remarkable encounter eventually brought him back to British soil. But returning home didn't mean finding peace. What does it mean to spend forty years hiding from yourself? For G, the answer came through 26 years in the Metropolitan Police — years marked by racism, being used as the public face of diversity while privately struggling to belong, and a truth about his sexuality buried so deeply it cost him everything. A breakdown became a breakthrough. And standing on a Pride stage at forty, G finally said the words he'd been afraid to speak his entire life: "I'm proud to be Black. I'm proud to be gay. But more importantly, I'm a human being." In this Full e-Booked Meets two-part conversation, Andrew sits down with G to explore the chapters rarely told — his relationship with his father, the silence around his mother, the years in Nigeria, identity, belonging, and what it took to finally stop letting the world define him. Andrew also reflects on his own journey as an author, and the shared truth that we rarely understand the importance of our own story until we see it reflected in someone else. This is a conversation about survival, courage, and the quiet power of finally owning every part of who you are.
What if one of the most influential figures in modern technology had almost ignored the opportunity that would define his career? In this episode, I sit down with Werner Vogels, Chief Technology Officer at Amazon, to explore the story behind Amazon Web Services as it marks its 20th anniversary, and how a near-dismissed phone call turned into a front-row seat to one of the biggest shifts in computing history. Werner takes me back to the early days when Amazon was still seen as "just a bookstore," and shares what he discovered when he first stepped inside what he calls Amazon's "technology kitchen." What he found was a company solving problems at a scale that commercial software simply could not handle, forcing them to build everything themselves. That mindset would go on to shape everything from Dynamo to the foundations of modern cloud infrastructure. We also unpack the thinking behind one of the most important shifts in enterprise technology, the move from upfront licensing to pay-as-you-go. It sounds obvious now, but at the time it challenged how the entire industry operated, giving businesses the ability to experiment, scale, and take control of their own costs in ways that were not possible before. Looking ahead, Werner offers a refreshing perspective on AI and what he describes as a developer renaissance. While many headlines focus on replacement, he sees AI as a tool that amplifies human capability, placing even greater importance on curiosity, ownership, and collaboration. It is a reminder that while tools will continue to evolve, responsibility and decision-making still sit firmly with the people using them. This episode is a must-listen for anyone building, leading, or investing in technology. It connects the dots between past, present, and what comes next, showing how today's AI wave echoes the same patterns that shaped the cloud revolution. Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
On February 16, 2026, a 911 call came in from a quiet cul-de-sac in Tipp City, Ohio. A man, barely able to speak through sobs, reported that someone had broken into his home and shot his wife. She was in bed with two gunshot wounds to the head. Their two young daughters were asleep in another room. He said the garage door was wide open. He said he didn't know if the intruder was still there. What police found when they arrived at 932 Cunningham Court allegedly contradicted nearly every detail of that call. A side door to the garage was open but blocked by a large refrigerator. The center console of the truck where Caleb Flynn said he kept his handgun was open. Ashley Flynn -- mother, teacher, volleyball coach -- was dead. And investigators would later write in the criminal complaint that they had been "led astray by the staging of the crime scene."Caleb Flynn was arrested 82 hours later. He's been in the Miami County Jail on $3.5 million bond ever since, charged with aggravated murder and 10 additional counts. He has pleaded not guilty.Part 1 of our four-part pre-trial series breaks down every publicly known detail of that night -- the call, the bodycam footage, the voluntary police interview, and the arrest that ripped through a community. This is where the story starts.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Because it wasn't the apps, the men, or “bad luck”… it was the way I was thinking.I used to approach dating from a place of doubt, overanalyzing everything, and expecting things to go wrong. And guess what? That's exactly what I kept experiencing. But the moment I changed my mind—about myself, about men, and about what I expected—everything started to shift. My experiences, my interactions, and the type of connections I attracted all elevated. In this episode, I talk about:The subtle thought patterns that were sabotaging my dating lifeHow your beliefs shape your reality (especially in relationships)The exact mindset shifts I made and how you can apply themWhy changing your mind is more powerful than changing your strategyIf your dating life feels frustrating, repetitive, or draining… this might be the perspective shift you didn't know you needed.Because when you change your mind, you don't just change your dating life—you change your entire reality.

You won't truly follow Jesus into deep waters until you've seen yourself clearly in His presence. An encounter with Jesus will CHANGE EVERYTHING because he leads to true repentance, a healthy fear of God, and is key for a disciple to leave everything and follow. This episode takes us back to where it all began. In the middle of Holy Week, we're revisiting the very first episode of Redeemed Through His Blood—a conversation that started with one simple truth:Everything begins here. From the Savior's suffering in Gethsemane to His sacrifice on the cross and ultimate Resurrection, this week isn't just something we study—it's something we're invited to live inside of.As you listen, consider the question that still echoes today:“What will you do with this Jesus?”If you've heard this before, you may hear it differently now. If you haven't—this is the perfect place to begin.
On the night her father passed, everything seemed normal at first. He had been resting, the house was quiet, and everyone was trying to hold onto a sense of routine while facing what they knew was coming. Then, without any clear reason, she felt an overwhelming need for her mom to stay with her. It wasn't something she could explain—it just felt important not to be alone in that moment. As they sat together, the atmosphere in the room shifted. It was subtle but unmistakable, enough that they both noticed it and even said something about how strange it felt.A few minutes later, her mom went to check on him. That's when they found out he was gone.Looking back, she still wonders about those few minutes—the feeling they shared before they knew, and whether it was just timing… or something more. #RealGhostStoriesOnline #Paranormal #Visitation #Afterlife #Unexplained #GhostStory #ListenerStory #FamilyConnection #SpiritualExperience #ParanormalPodcast #TrueStory #EnergyLove real ghost stories? In this episode of The Russell Brunson Show, I'm sharing something I never thought I'd say again… Funnel Hacking Live is coming back. But to really understand why, you have to go back to why we ended it in the first place. For over a decade, FHL wasn't just an event - it was the heartbeat of an entire movement. And we chose to walk away from it at its peak. Not because it wasn't working, but because the world had changed. AI is compressing decades into days, and I knew the old playbook wouldn't build the future. So I stepped back, created space, and started rebuilding everything from the ground up. What I didn't expect was what happened next. The community didn't move on. People kept asking for it, talking about it, missing the connection, the energy, and the transformation. At the same time, I was deep in the trenches discovering something new - how funnel hacking combined with AI is changing everything. Faster launches, higher conversions, smaller teams, bigger impact. And that's when it clicked… we had to come back. Not as a reunion. Not as nostalgia. But as something completely different - an encore event built for the next generation of entrepreneurs. Key Highlights: ◼️Why we ended Funnel Hacking Live at its peak - and what had to change before it could come back ◼️The official announcement of the Funnel Hacking Live Encore event (and why it's a one-time experience) ◼️How AI is compressing decades of business growth into days - and why most people are still using it wrong ◼️The breakthrough moment where AI + funnel hacking became the ultimate unfair advantage ◼️Behind-the-scenes examples of campaigns built in hours instead of months - and why they outperform everything At the end of the day, this episode isn't just about bringing back an event - it's about stepping into a new era. There are moments in your life where everything shifts… before and after. I believe this is one of those moments for entrepreneurs. The return of Funnel Hacking Live isn't about going backward - it's about preparing you for what's coming next. The only question is: will you be in the room when it happens? ◼️https://www.funnelhackinglive.com ◼️If you've got a product, offer, service… or idea… I'll show you how to sell it (the RIGHT way) Register for my next event → https://sellingonline.com/podcast ◼️Still don't have a funnel?
