**Discussion begins at 4:15**Marilyn Monroe was born Norma Jeane Mortenson, 99 years ago this week. Rising to fame in the 1950s, she captivated audiences with her beauty, charm, and vulnerability. She starred in numerous successful films, including Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, The Seven Year Itch, and Some Like It Hot, solidifying her status as a Hollywood legend. Despite her glamorous public image, Norma Jeane battled with personal struggles including mental health issues, substance abuse, and a string of troubled relationships. On August 5, 1962, Norma Jeane was found dead in her Los Angeles home at the age of 36. The official cause of death was listed as a probable suicide due to an overdose of barbiturates. A bottle of sleeping pills was found near her bed, and she had reportedly been dealing with depression in the weeks leading up to her death. However, her death has remained shrouded in mystery and controversy. Numerous inconsistencies in the timeline of her final hours, the delay in contacting authorities, and the disappearance of personal documents and records have fueled speculation that her death may not have been a simple suicide. Some believe that foul play was involved, citing her alleged affairs with high-profile political figures such as President John F. Kennedy and his brother Robert F. Kennedy as a possible motive for a cover-up. Other theories range from involvement by the CIA or FBI to suggestions that Norma was silenced due to knowledge of state secrets. Whether her death was a tragic accident, a suicide, or something more sinister, it remains one of Hollywood's most tragic mysteries.Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA

**Discussion begins at 4:45**Memorial Day is the US holiday observed on the last Monday of May, to honor our military personnel who have died in service to the country. Originally known as Decoration Day, the holiday began after the Civil War to commemorate fallen soldiers, and over time, it expanded to include all U.S. military service members who died in wars and conflicts. It is a day of remembrance and reflection to honor the sacrifices made by the armed forces and their families. Now Memorial Day is not to be confused with Veterans Day – which is observed on November 11 of each year, and honors all military veterans who have served both in wartime and peacetime, and recognizes the contributions of all veterans – both living and deceased. If you've been listening to this podcast for a while, you know that we are huge supporters of the military and we love our veterans. So in honor of the holiday, I thought we would take a look at some of the other sacrifices our military servicemen and women have made over the years, often without their knowledge. Unfortunately, many of these have proof proof – so they don't really even fall into the “conspiracy theory” realm, but they are definitely conspiracies…Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA

The Billiwhack Monster is a creature said to haunt the hills near Santa Paula, California. First reported during the 1950s, the monster allegedly resides in or around the ruins of the old Billiwhack Dairy. According to local lore, a former military scientist who owned the dairy was connected to the OSS, the precursor to the CIA. The OSS allegedly had the owner of the dairy, August Rubel performing experiments beneath the dairy, and one of these secret projects involved attempts to create a super-soldier. Legend has it that one of these experiments went horribly wrong resulting in the creating of the Billiwhack Monster, a hulking, half man/half goat covered in dark fur, standing over seven feet tall, with immense strength and glowing eyes. During WW2 Rubel was sent abroad where he died. The family supposedly abandoned the property, leaving the monster to roam free and torment visitors. Sightings of the Billiwhack Monster are still reported – is there really a human experiment running free and harming locals? Or is this all an urban legend meets conspiracy theory stemming from the general distrust of the government during this time period?Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA

Robert F. Kennedy, younger brother to John F Kennedy, former Attorney General and New York Senator, and a leading Democratic presidential candidate, was assassinated on June 5, 1968. He was at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, California, shortly after delivering a victory speech following his win in the California primary. The official story is that Kennedy was shot multiple times by Sirhan Sirhan, a 24-year-old Palestinian man. Sirhan was quickly apprehended at the scene and later claimed that he was angry over Kennedy's pro-Israel stance, particularly his support for Israel in the wake of the Six-Day War in 1967. Kennedy was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries the following day, on June 6, 1968.Although Sirhan Sirhan was arrested and convicted of the murder, many conspiracy theories have since emerged surrounding the assassination. Some people believe that there may have been a second gunman or that Sirhan's actions were part of a larger plot. These theories have been fueled by the fact that Sirhan's gun was only a small-caliber revolver which was inconsistent with the murder weapon, and the physical evidence suggested that the shots that killed Kennedy came from close range—closer than Sirhan was able to stand to the senator at the time. Some argue that there were additional shooters in the pantry, pointing to discrepancies in witness testimony and the trajectory of the bullets.Conspiracy theories point to the possibility of CIA or other government involvement, citing the political climate of the time, with Kennedy being a vocal critic of the Vietnam War and a potential force for change in U.S. politics. Others suggest that powerful figures within the Democratic Party may have had motives for silencing Kennedy as he was gaining momentum in the race for president. Did Sirhan Sirhan act alone? Or was he merely a victim of MK Ultra? Did he actually kill RFK, or was there someone else directly responsible?Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA
**Discussion begins at 4:08**We are taking another look at the infamous sinking of the Titanic - This time discussing the conspiracy theory that the sinking was intentionally planned to ensure the success of the Federal Reserve. Was the sinking orchestrated to eliminate individuals who opposed the creation of the Federal Reserve System? Several wealthy men, including John Jacob Astor IV, Isidor Straus, and Benjamin Guggenheim, were all aboard the Titanic and died in the disaster. Today, they would be worth a combined 11 billion dollars. What else did they have in common? All three allegedly opposed the passage of the Federal Reserve Act, which aimed to centralize control of US monetary policy. The sinking of the Titanic occurred in April 1912, and the Federal Reserve Act was signed into law just over a year later in December 1913. Is this merely a coincidence? Or was there something more sinister at play?Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA
**Discussion begins at 4:30**Let's go back to January 28, 2022 – Boston Police Officer John O'Keefe and his girlfriend, Karen Read, had been fighting. They decided to decompress and meet up in a bar in Canton, Massachusetts, knowing that a blizzard was coming and they were likely going to be snowed in for a few days. Karen met her boyfriend and his buddies at a bar about a mile from John's home, and then they went across the street to meet up with more of his friends. After last call, the couple was invited to an after party about 2.5 miles away at the home of Boston Police Officer Brian Albert. Karen didn't enter the house, for reasons we will get to later, but she dropped of John and then drove herself to his home where she allegedly fell asleep on the couch. When Karen awoke around 5AM, she noted that John had not come home and began searching for him with the help of some friends. They found him dead in the snow in front of the Albert residence, eventually leading to the arrest of Karen Read. Prosecutors allege that Karen backed into John with her SUV, and left the scene, causing John O'Keefe to die d/t a basilar skull fracture and hypothermia. She was charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter, motor vehicle homicide, and leaving the scene of a deadly crash. The defense, however, claims that John O'Keefe was likely killed by someone inside the house and that the witnesses, many of whom were affiliated with the Boston Police Department, utilized their resources to cover up the true cause of death and frame Karen Read. The trial, lasting more than 2 months, and including more than 600 pieces of evidence and 70 witnesses, ended in a mistrial last July. The foreman told the judge "The divergence in our views are not rooted in a lack of understanding or effort but deeply held convictions that each of us carry, ultimately leading to a point where consensus is unattainable," the jury of six men and six women were hung after 4 days of deliberation. Polling of the jurors revealed that they had all agreed that she was not guilty of murder or leaving the scene but had been confused about how to deliver a partial verdict. She is currently being retried for the same charges. Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA

**Discussion begins at 5:00**Gabby Petito was born and raised in Blue Point, New York and was the oldest of 7 children in a blended family. While attending Bayport Blue Point High School, she met Brian Laundrie. After graduating in 2017, they reconnected and began dating in 2019. Eventually, they decided to move to Northpoint, Fl to live with Brian's parents. In 2020 they got engaged, and Gabby purchased a Ford Transit Connect - which the couple converted into a sleeper van. On July 2, 2021 they set off from New York on a 4 month roadtrip through national parks. Gabby was hoping to take off as a content creator, and was vlogging the journey on her YouTube and Instagram accounts about #vanlife. On August 12, 2021 police responded to a 911 call in Moab, Utah. The caller had reported seeing a man attacking a girl in a van driving by. The couple was separated and the police felt that Brian was the victim and no charges were pressed. They sent him to a domestic abuse hotel for the night, and she stayed in the van. The couple then proceeded on their trip. On August 25 Gabby made a final post to Instagram and then stopped responding to texts or phone calls. On September 11, Gabby's mother filed a missing persons report in Suffolk County, NY. When police went to the Laundries as part of a wellness check, they learned that Brian had returned home in Gabby's van, without her. But the Laundries had already hired an attorney and refused to cooperate with the police investigation. The investigation let them to Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming, where Gabby's phone was last used. On September 19, 3 weeks after the investigation had begun, her body was found in the park. After the discovery of her body, a search warrant was issued on the Laundrie home, and it is then that we learn Brian Laundrie had disappeared days prior, last seen going on a hike. A month later, on October 20, Brian Laundrie's parents discover his body in Carlton Reserve, a nature preserve near their home. With him, they find a backpack that contains a journal with a partial confession – Brian claimed that he had killed Gabby, but only because she had a freak accident and was suffering and asked him to put her out of his misery. The coroner eventually ruled Brian Laundrie's cause of death to be suicide by GSW. However, a number of inconsistencies in the crime scene, and his parent's unwillingness to assist in the search for Gabby Petito, have led many online to speculate that Brian Laundrie is not actually dead, and that his parents helped him fake his death to cover it up.Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA
**Discussion begins at 5:00**Today, we are deep diving into one of the most mysterious theories of the 21st century: The Dead Internet Theory. With the growing influence of AI, many people believe that the internet is slowly dying – not in a technical sense, but in terms of human interaction and creativity. Have we reached the inversion point? This is the point at which point the platforms have shifted from human creator driven to a system where bots, algorithms, or even AI tools are the ones responsible for generating the majority of content. In their pursuit of profitability and user engagement, did platforms begin to rely too much on algorithms to curate content, automate interactions, and even generate videos based on trends? Is the internet, as we know it, already dead, or is it merely transitioning into something unrecognizable? Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA
**Discussion begins at 3:15**World War II was a global conflict that lasted from 1939 to 1945, involving the Allies (primarily the U.S, UK, and Soviet Union) fighting against the Axis powers, led by Nazi Germany, Imperial Japan, and Fascist Italy. The war resulted in massive destruction, the Holocaust, and the reshaping of international power dynamics, ultimately leading to the formation of the United Nations and the beginning of the Cold War. During the war, the Nazis looted vast amounts of wealth, including gold, art, jewelry, and other precious materials. Much of the gold came from the central banks of occupied countries, particularly Belgium, the Netherlands, France, and Poland. They also seized gold from Jewish families, including rings, teeth fillings, and other personal items. As Germany faced inevitable defeat, high-ranking Nazi officials began to move large amounts of this looted wealth, including gold, out of sight. There were reports that huge amounts of gold were secretly stored in vaults, and some Nazi leaders began transferring the gold to places like Switzerland, where neutral banks could hold it safely. There are also theories that gold was hidden in underground bunkers, caves, or remote locations across Europe, either to be recovered later or to be kept out of the hands of the Allies. What do we know about the Nazi Gold, and is there more still out there?Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA

**Discussion begins at 2:55**Today we are discussing the mysterious death of a Jane Doe, known under the alias of Jennifer Fairgate. In June 1995, she checked into the Oslo Plaza, a 5 star hotel in Norway. She checked in to the hotel using the alias, paid all cash, and was found dead in her hotel room several days after checking in with a GSW to the head. The cirucmstances were unusual. Her identity remains unknown, authorities were unable to find any records for a person with the name Jennifer Fairgate, and there are no credible traces of her existence before she appeared at the hotel. Her death was ruled a suicide, but the gunshot wound was found to be inconsistent with the normal pattern of a suicide. Despite many years of investigation, Jennifer Fairgate's identity remains unknown, and the true circumstances of her death have never been solved. The case has become a haunting mystery, with many questions but no answers. The lack of conclusive evidence about her identity or the reasons behind her death makes it one of the most enduring mysteries in Norway. Was it really suicide, as the police ruled? Was she an undercover agent, possibly from a foreign intelligence agency, whose death was meant to remain shrouded in secrecy. Or was she involved in some sort of illegal activity, perhaps as a witness, victim, or even a criminal herself?Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA

**Discussion begins at 3:45**On November 24, 1971, the day before Thanksgiving, an unidentified man carrying a black attache case approached the Nothwest Orient Airlines desk at the Portland airport and paid cash for a one way ticket to Seattle. The ticket was sold to “Dan Cooper” and non-descript white male in his mid 40s with brown hair, brown eyes, dressed in a business suit and black raincoat. He boarded the Boeing 727, sat in the last row, and ordered a bourbon and 7-UP. He then passed a note to the flight attendant indicating that he had an explosive device and demanding $200,000 ransom, (the equivalent of $1.5 million today) as well as two from and two back parachutes. When the plane landed in Seattle, he collected the money and parachutes, allowed the 36 passengers to deplane, and instructed the crew to refuel and proceed to Mexico City via Reno, NV. About 30 mins after takeoff from Seattle, at approximately 8:13 p.m., evidence suggests that DB Cooper jumped from the aft stairwell, near the suburbs north of Portland. This remains the only unsolved act of air piracy in US history. Who was DB Cooper, and did he survive the dangerous jump?Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA

He is most famous for his role in the 1955 Montgomery bus boycott, and the 1963 March on Washington where he delivered his famous I have a Dream speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. Despite his peaceful resistance, he was incarcerated several times and was an object of J. Edgar Hoover's FBI Counterintelligence Program – which was a series of covert and illegal projects between 1956 and 1971 aimed at surveilling, infiltrating, discrediting, and disrupting “subversive” political organizations. They investigated him for possible ties to communism, spied on him, and secretly recorded him. In 1964, the FBI sent him a package with a letter and a tape recording alleging of King's sexual indiscretions as an apparent attempt at blackmail. **Discussion begins at 5:30**On December 4, 2024, the week after Thanksgiving and well into the bustling holiday season, Brian Thompson, United Healthcare's CEO was gunned down right outside of a hotel in Midtown Manhattan - where he was on his way to a shareholder meeting. In the chilling street camera video, you see the shooter loitering as Thompson approaches the hotel, before the suspect shoots the CEO in the back, fires a couple more, and then turns and walks away. In the days that follow, there is a massive manhunt in NYC. NYPD swept the city, even taking to the river, for the shooter and killer of Brian Thompson. Meanwhile, news channels and social media accounts shared the grainy picture of a similarly dressed man checking into a hostel days prior - a white male with a dark hood up over his head and a mask over his face. He's shown leaning over the counter, his black mask pulled down, smiling at someone across the counter that is not pictured. Then, on Monday, December 9, a phone call came in from a McDonald's in Altoona, Pennsylvania, approximately 223 miles away from the crime scene, the caller claiming that someone matching the suspects description was there. The police, responding to the call, arrested 26 year old Luigi Mangione. Found on him during the arrest was the gun, the silencer, and a three page note detailing his plan to kill Mr. Thompson. But… something about Luigi's thick eyebrows seems out of place and doesn't match with the surveillance video that has many people pause over this seemingly too clean murder investigation. Outcries on reddit are claiming that Luigi is a Patsy, very much like our beloved Lee Harvery Oswald (Justice for Lee!), because how does one just get caught in a McDonalds with the murder weapon and a manifesto in his book bag just 5 days later? Is Luigi just too arrogant to believe he would be caught? Or is he being set up? Let's get into it. Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA
**Discussion begins at 4:15**Since 1916, Boeing has been synonymous with safety and reliability. The company was responsible for the production of 100,000 airplanes for Allied Forces in WW2, the production of Air Force One, and revolutionizing air travel. The slogan was, “If it's not Boeing, I'm not going”. Following a merger with McDonnell Douglas, experts agree that the company had a culture shift, in which perhaps finances were prioritized over safety. This all came to a head when Boeing did a rapid roll out of the 737 Max, in an attempt to keep up with their only competition, Airbus. Following a slew of poor decisions, there were two plane crashes, with 346 deaths. Since that time, a number of employees have come forward to report safety issues with Boeing and it's contractor, Spirit Aerosystems. Things had been relatively quiet for Boeing, until last year when a number of safety issues brought them back into the news. Following a 2.5 billion dollar loss, 50,000 lay offs, and a drop in stocks by 26% in the first quarter, two of the Boeing whistleblowers died under mysterious circumstances within 2 months of each other. Were these just unfortunate tragedies? Or was Boeing behind the mysterious deaths?Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA

**Discussion begins at 4:40**The JonBenet Ramsey murder is one of the most famous and tragic unsolved child murder cases in the United States. JonBenet, a 6-year-old beauty queen, was found to be missing on the morning of December 26, 1996 in what appeared to be a kidnap for ransom. Seven hours later, however, the young girl was found murdered in the basement of her 7,240 sq ft home. Here is a brief sequence of event - JonBenet was carried in from a party on Christmas night and put to bed. The following morning, her mother, Patsy, found a ransom note at the bottom of the stairs – demanding $118,000 for the safe return of JonBenet. It was signed “a foreign faction”. She noted her daughter was missing and called 911 at 5:52 AM on December 26. The ransom note was highly unusual: it was long, detailed, and written on paper from the Ramsey home. The note demanded a specific amount of money (which was nearly equivalent of John Ramsey's Christmas bonus) and instructed the parents not to contact the police. The police, as well as friends of the Ramseys, descended on the house, mucking up the crime scene. At one point, around 1PM, an detctive asks John and his friend to search the house – this being a tool to distract him and get him out of the way. The duo descended downstairs, and in a back unfinished room, John Ramsey found his daughter dead with evidence of blunt force trauma to the head and strangulation. He removed tape from her mouth and rushed her upstairs, again disturbing the crime scene. Police officers then covered the young girls body with a blanket. It took 12 hours for a coroner to arrive – their report stated that JonBenét had died from blunt force trauma to the head, with a fractured skull. She also had strangulation marks on her neck, consistent with being garrotted with a cord. The garotte was made of a paintbrush from Patsy Ramsey's paint kit found in the same room. There was no evidence of conventional rape, but evidence of vaginal trauma, likely from the paintbrush used in the garotte. There was touch DNA belonging to an unknown male on her underwear, as well as under her nails – the DNA did not match anyone in the family or in the FBI database. Initially, the police focused on the family as potential suspects. Both Patsy and John Ramsey, as well as their 9 year old son Burke were scrutinized. While they denied involvement, suspicion grew around them due to various inconsistencies in their accounts and the peculiar nature of the crime scene. There was also speculation about an intruder, as there was evidence of open windows in the basement, which could suggest someone had entered the house, as well as 2 small marks on JonBenet consistent with a stun gun. In 1999, a grand jury had voted to indict the Ramseys, but prosecutors chose not to pursue charges due to insufficient evidence. Patsy Ramsey died in 2006 from ovarian cancer, and her death did not lead to any new breakthroughs in the case. The Ramsey family was officially exonerated in 2008 but the case remains unsolved. The investigation into her death remains open, and despite some advancements in forensic science, no one has been charged with the crime, leaving room for continued speculation and conspiracy theories. **Discussion begins at 10:30**Taylor Alison Smith is an American singer-songwriter known for her narrative driven music and her poetic lyrics. Her music style spans many genres from her country roots to pop, and even trying her hand at a more folky twang during her COVID era. She was born on December 13, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania to Scott and Andrea Swift. Her parents believed in her dream so much, that they uprooted the family to Nashville, Tennessee, where he rose to fame as a teenager with her self-titled debut album in 2006. Since then, she has taken the music industry by storm and quickly has become one of the most dominant figures in history. Taylor Swifts lyrics are often picked apart, digested, and analyzed by her loyal fan base who are devoted to putting the puzzle pieces together in her personal life. Her poetic words often focus on her own experiences in love, friendships, relationships, and emotional growth. Her ability to reinvent herself with each album has kept her relevant across different music scenes, and earned her the very popular theme of her current world tour, her Eras Tour. But wait a second... Is Taylor really who she says she is? Or could there be something sinister stewing underneath all of that charisma and fame? Could she really be the clone of alleged illuminati member Zeena Lavey, who is the daughter of Anton Lacey who founded the Church of Satan in 1966? Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA
**Discussion begins at 5:00**Plastic was invented in the early 20th century, with the first synthetic plastic being created in 1907 by Belgian chemist Leo Baekeland. He developed Bakelite, the first fully synthetic plastic, which was a revolutionary material due to its ability to resist heat and electrical conductivity. Bakelite was initially used in electrical insulators, radios, and automotive parts. Since that time, plastics have changed the world. They are widely used in medical devices, and provide safe and sterile packaging for medical supplies, as well as extend the life of food and water. It is cheap to produce, and more lightweight than older materials. At the end of the 21st century there were mounting concerns about the environmental impact of plastic. As a result, the general public was instructed to recycle and the idea that their discarded plastic was being reused, caused people to embrace the use of plastics. I, for one, had the childhood chore of separating all of the recycling every Sunday night for pick up on Monday morning. But what if I told you that 90% of plastics aren't even being recycled and that this government project promoting recycling was all a business tool used by big oil companies to pad their pockets? Have you ever been walking the streets and wave enthusiastically at someone you know like a little loser only to find out that person was a stranger? The resemblance was just so similar, almost as if it was an identical copy of that person? Doppelgänger maybe? What if I told you there was a man out there so similar to Elvis, he just might be Elvis. His connections to the family, his voice, his mannerisms... they make some people believe he might actually be Elvis! Well today, we are diving in deep to determine, is Elvis still alive? Or is this just another lookalike? Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA

Whatever name, we all grew up hearing stories of the mysterious large, hairy, bipedal creatures - creatures that have been spotted in every state in the United States and on almost every continent, yet their existence cannot be verified. In the United States, Sasquatch sightings were first reported by Native Americansand persist today. Are these creatures real? What do we make of the photographs, video and audio recordings, hair samples, and tracks that have been observed and reported? And if they are real, what are they? He was accused with creating “ a criminal enterprise in which he abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct". He has obviously pled not guilty and has been denied bail, so he remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. On October 1, 2024, the Washington Post reported that a team of lawyers will be filing as many as 120 more lawsuits, covering assaults that took place during the 2000s and 2010s. There are 120 plaintiffs, 25 of whom were minors with the youngest being 9 years old. **Discussion begins at 3:20**Diet Coke is a sugar-free soft drink produced by The Coca-Cola Company. It's a variation of the classic Coca-Cola, but instead of sugar, it uses the artificial sweetener aspartame to provide a sweet taste without the calories. Diet sodas became popular in the 1960s and 1970s, as consumers became more health-conscious, leading to a growing demand for low-calorie alternatives to traditional sugary sodas. Diet Coke was introduced by The Coca-Cola Company on July 9, 1982. It was developed as a new brand rather than a diet version of Coca-Cola. The idea was to create a distinct product that would appeal to consumers looking for a low-calorie option. The introduction of Diet Coke was a major success, and it quickly became one of the leading diet sodas in the market. Its success can be attributed to its distinctive taste, effective marketing, and the growing trend towards healthier eating and drinking habits. For nearly half a century, Diet Coke has remained a popular beverage. At the same time, however, it has been blamed for contributing to cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and dementia. What is the truth? Are the risks exaggerated, and if so why? Or… Is Diet Coke merely a refreshing treat to be enjoyed in moderation? Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA
**Discussion begins at 4:30**Early advertisements for the Ouija Board promised to answer questions “about the past, present and future with marvelous accuracy” and to provide a link “between the known and unknown, the material and immaterial.” This board, initially made of wood and sold for $1.50, was also referred to as a spirit or talking board. The flat board marked with letters, numbers, and other symbols, is typically used in séances and paranormal activities to communicate with spirits. Participants place their fingers on a planchette, a small heart-shaped pointer, which is believed to move around the board to spell out messages. The board has a mystique associated with it, often seen as a tool for divination or contact with the supernatural, though many consider its movements to be a result of the ideomotor effect—unconscious muscle movements by participants. So which is it? Are young girls at sleep overs just tricking themselves into thinking they are communicating with the dead? Or are Ouija boards really a tool for demonic possession as many mainstream religious groups allege?Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA
On April 10, 1912, the Titanic set sail for her maiden voyage across the Atlantic ocean. She was a beautiful ship, designed for British luxury, and coined the “Millionaire's Special.” She was journeying from Southampton, England with the hope of touching shores in New York, New York, but she never made it. As many of you know, she had an unfortunate collision with the ICEBERG STRAIGHT AHEAD, and capsized in the middle of the ocean between April 14 and 15, 1912. With approximately 1500 deaths, most of which coming from the crew and the third-class passengers, it is one of the most infamous tragedies in both American and British history. In the early 1900's, the shipping industry was at full peak, especially those voyages seeking to cross the Atlantic. These ships were used for trade, as well as vacations for the wealthy high socialites of that time. White Star, a company looking to enter the competition for transatlantic cruises, started construction on three large liners that would be recognized for their speed and comfort. These three vessels would be named the Olympic, the Britannica, and the Titanic. The Titanic featured a large, upscale dining room, four elevators, and a swimming pool. It had 16 compartments that included steel doors that could be closed to contain water, should the vessel be breached. The designers and builders claimed that 4 of the compartments could be filled with water and it would not affect the buoyancy of the Titanic. She would continue to float. Because of these characteristics, the Titanic was deemed “Unsinkable.” She was one of the largest and luxurious ships of her time, at 882.5 feet long and 92.5 feet wide. She had a carrying capacity of approximately 46,000 tons and weighed about 52,000 tons. But was this horrible tragedy just an accident? Or could it be something more sinister? Could the Titanic have been launched on not only her maiden voyage, but a suicide mission? Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA

We're talking about Queen Elizabeth today because... guys... she could have been a man. Queen Elizabeth I is the last of the Tudor monarchy in old England. She was the daughter of the infamous King Henry VIII, and lived from 1533-1603, when she died at age 69. She was known for being the Virgin Queen because she never took a husband, and pledged herself to the service of England. During her reign she restored England to the Protestant Church, she executed the Queen of the Scots, Mary Stuart, and led the country to defeat the Spanish Armada. But was Queen Elizabeth really the virgin queen? Was it her who actually reigned for 54 years, or was it an impostor put forth to continue the Tudor dynasty?Send us a textSupport the showTheme song by INDA

His music often addressed themes such as racial inequality, violence, and his own struggles, resonating deeply with fans around the world. Beyond music, Tupac also had a career in acting, appearing in films like Juice, Poetic Justice, and Above the Rim. Tupac's life was tragically cut short when he was shot in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996. He died from his injuries six days later on September 13, 1996, at the age of 25. The circumstances surrounding his death have led to numerous theories and speculations, involving potential connections to gang rivalries, personal disputes, and even alleged involvement by law enforcement or other figures within the music industry. Despite investigations and various theories, no one has been definitively charged or convicted in connection with his murder. Almost 30 years later, the case remains unsolved. As a result, many people theorize that Tupac faked his own death. **Discussion begins at 5:15**Today we are talking about the Ancient Egyptian pyramids. Ancient Egypt is located in Northeastern Africa along the Nile River. It lasted for over 3000 years from 3100 BC to 30 BC. Fun fact for all you trivia people - this makes it the longest surviving civilization in history. During this time, Egypt was a leading cultural and economic influence in North Africa and parts of the Levant. It was ruled by 170 Pharaohs, and left behind many monuments, including pyramids and temples, as well as hieroglyphic writings. The civilians, rulers, languages, writing, climate, religion, and borders changed many times over the millennia, but Egypt still exists today. The pyramids of Ancient Egypt still continue today, but the question remains - how were these magnificent pyramids built? Their construction, especially the great pyramid of Giza, is one of the most fascinating and enduring mysteries of ancient engineering. There are two major theories that have been discussed. One is that they were put here by the aliens, along with the Egyptians. Two is that slaves actually built the Egyptian pyramids. Send us a textSupport the Show.Theme song by INDA

**Discussion begins at 9:30**Plum Island is a 3 mile by 1 mile island isolated off the coast of New York. It is home to a lab run by the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Agriculture. The lab claims to be dedicated to the study of disease in animal livestock. They claim that in compliance with Nixon's 1969 order, there is no offensive bioweapons research taking place there. Instead, they argue, the goal is to focus on protecting the US against the introduction of animal diseases. Their principal focus, they allege, is to prevent foot and mouth disease, which has not occurred in the US since 1929. The island can only be accessed by military ferry which is escorted by armed guards, and personnel are not permitted to have pets or spend time around animals due to the inherent risk of disease spread. While the government maintains that there is no bioweapons research happening there, evidence exists that discredits their claims. In fact, one of the primary goals of the lab when it was first developed by Nazi scientist Erich Traub, was to research the use of ticks as bioweapons. Since that time, people have argued that the lab is responsible for the development and spread of tickborne illnesses, including Lyme Disease and the African Swine Flu Outbreak in Cuba. Is the government performing innocent studies to limit the spread of animal transmitted infections? Or are they performing harmful biologic research under the guise of benign animal studies?Send us a Text Message.Support the Show.Theme song by INDA

On March 8, 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 took off in the early hours of the morning as the red eye flight from Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, with an intended destination of Beijing, China. There were 227 passengers on board, with 12 crew members. The pilot in command, 53 year old Captain Zaharie Shah, was performing a final instructional flight for 27 yo co-pilot, first officer Fariq Hamid. It was a clear, calm night, and the flight was initially uneventful. At cruising altitude of 35,000 feet, the flight was leaving Malaysian Air Space and was instructed to transfer to the air traffic control tower in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. At 0119, Captain Shah radioed the Air Traffic Controllers in Malaysia “Good night, Malaysian 370”. That was the last verbal contact with anyone on the plane. Approximately 103 seconds later, the aircraft went dark and vanished from all radar screens in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, and Ho Chi Minh City. There were two transponders onboard the plane, so to disappear, both transponders would need to cease functioning – either by catastrophic failure or by manual override by someone on the plane. It was over 20 minutes before anyone noted the plane was missing. It did not arrive for it's 6:30 ETA, and only had enough fuel to fly until ~ 8:15 AM. The most expensive search and rescue operation in aviation history was initiated. To this day, we do not know where the airplane is, or what happened to the 239 souls on board. An extensive safety report was released which did not answer many questions and had inconclusive findings. They denied suspecting any crew was involved, and reported that air traffic control was delayed in noting the missing plane. Theories vary, from a hijacking or suicide mission, to a military operation, and a plethora of questions still exist. One thing is for sure, evidence of shoddy investigative work and potential cover-ups abound. Japanese legends, greek mythology, and ancient folklore all contain tales of half-fish, half-human hybrids. More recently, Animal Planet released a series called, "Mermaids: A Body Found". This film which was described by Animal Planet as Science Fiction based on some real events and scientific theory, claimed that mermaids are real and that scientists from the National Ocean and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) were concealing the truth about the existence of mermaids. A statement from NOAA simply says that 'no real evidence of aquatic humanoids has ever been found'. Can we believe the hundreds of sightings that have been reported? Or are these more likely misidentified manatees or other sea creatures as NOAA would have us believe? These highly social creatures have demonstrated cooperative behaviors, and are known to be playful and interactive with other species including humans. Perhaps those traits in combination with their mythologic past symbolizing joy and transformation, have made them a fascination to humans. But should people really be swimming and interacting with dolphins for pleasure, both in captivity and in the wild? Expecting mothers in particular have sought them out for the idea that dolphins can stimulate brain growth in fetuses by squeaking at them, and that dolphins can detect fetal heart tones utilizing echolocation. There are people who actually pay to give birth surrounded by dolphins. But what if I told you that dolphins could potentially be more dangerous than sharks – sometimes killing for sport. As one of the few species who mate for pleasure, not just procreation, groups of male dolphins have been known to assault a female dolphin violently and repetitively. There have been humans who have claimed to have had affairs with dolphins – but potentially more terrifying are the videos depicting dolphins attacking innocent bystanders, including swimmers and divers. What is the truth about the dolphins? Are they actually violent animals, being utilized as weapons by multiple national militaries? The first recorded USO sighting is from 329 BC, when Alexander the Great spotted a shiny shield like objects flying in and out of the river in India. Since then, there have been thousands of reports of USOs, but what are they? Could they be natural marine phenomena?
