I thought people actively new when they were "Creating drama" in their arena of life. I believed my triggers were the responsibility of the person triggering me. Welp I am here to say in the 3 seasons of this podcast and all the lovely people who have been on it they all have Taught me I have more control than I believe I do when it comes To me. In fact when someone is talking to me. I make sure I say my mantra to myself. You do not owe me and I do not owe you! This means if they say something and it doesn't vibe with me or who I am as a person then I walk away. I do not attach my meaning to their words and do not give them a chance to misunderstand me. I have a choice on how I react to the words which are being said and how I feel about them. As a child I didn't understand words like adults understand words. When my mother scolded me constantly for being a child and doing childish things I didn't react. As I grew older and started to undestand words and what they meant I still didn't undestand a lot of people attach their belief to word which are said and react accordingly. I am autistic and have adhd and think very logically most times. I would say things I thought o be benign were in fact triggering o some and ended friendships which were years long. I have been misunderstood my whole life however now I believe I am being understood by people. I use expressions like goddess instead of maam or good human instead of sir. I do this because they are positve words of expression. When I say them the person hearing them on the on the other end responds in a positive way instead of when I say Maam or Sir the response is "Don't call me sir, Don't call me Maam". Then the conversation is more likely to take a negative turn. I would rather be mindful and learn to understand a person then misunderstand them. I want to know the person I am talking to in a positive light and in their space. Like I said in the beginning when I started this podcast you do no owe me and I do not owe you. 3 questions we will be answering on tonights episode Top hat guy and his love for me is the first Reddit. The second reddit is Am I the asshole after my daughter wet herself in the car? The last AITA for not getting what my sister wanted for christmas? Does any of this sound like the ego? I mean if you had to describe the ego isn't it a thing which is all knowing (or knows it all) depending on your perspective? and it is all about perspective I Edith Ivhay Rosenblat know. Our percpectives drive us and it has driven us into an vortex with a thread from reddit called am I the asshole? r/AITA? It is very popular and only started June 8, 2013 it is described as a subreddit what is a subreddit? a specific thread in the community anyone answering to a subreddit is an indicator the user is a member of the subreddits community and is participating in the discussion within the community. We are trying something new here at N@ked Onion Mel and I are doing reddits/aITA Thread and tonight we have 2 AITA thread selections the first is AITA for not wanting to go with my GF to an out of town wedding and the second is AITA for not wanting to do anything for my husbad anymore. I love the thread. It shows you the at least these people are asking themselves the question "Who is the asshole in this situation"! Some want to know they are right in a healthy way and others want to be enabled in their broken way of thinking. Any way you look at it though its a fun read. Until you read one in between the lines and you know they are truly disturbed. You know the Dexter of the WWW. Since this is being published on Halloween its a very fitting topic. Stuart would also incur a one stroke penalty in match play, but Blakey could choose to ignore this breach, since it was his bad advice that caused the Rules imbroglio in the first case. Stuart 'Podcast' McPhee hosts Episode 98 and has a special guest of Marcela Smith from Girlfriends Guide to Golf. They talk about what Marcela thinks is the four of the most misunderstood Rules in golf. Marcela also brings two Clubland stories to the table, and a GRQOTW. GRQOTW 98 - Sharon and Nina are playing in an individual stroke play tournament at Santaluz Golf Club, with two other competitors in their foursome. Sharon pulls her tee shot on the 8th hole and thinks she will find her ball in the bushes. After the other ladies tee off, Sharon starts looking for and finds her ball in about 90 seconds. Her ball is just beyond a white OB stake. Not wanting to go all the way back to the tee, Sharon assumes she can use the model local rule E-5 and drop a ball into the fairway for a two stroke penalty, which she does. The other ladies weren't aware that Sharon's ball was found out of bounds until Sharon casually mentioned it on the 9th tee (which is across a long street and a great distance from the 8th hole). At that time, the other ladies informed Sharon that if her ball was OB she would not be allowed to drop it into the fairway, as Model Local Rule E-5 was not in effect at that course. Since Sharon didn't want to slow down the group behind her, she said she would take an 8 on the hole and move on. What's the ruling? Its incredible the amount of programming women have gone through at the expense of the male ego. We here at Naked Onion have made it our promise to women and the LGBTQIA and anyone who has been effected by the patriarchy. I don't know about you but trying to keep up with societal norms is exhausting. The expectations of a job, or a relationship, or friendships this is what we learn as children. We learn to please our parents, or please our bosses or please our friends and this is lost in translation and not usually appreciated. (It is appreciated by people with the same beliefs). This is the basis of religion to be codependent on the church, it is the basis for any job, and for relationships too. I have been divorced several times thinking the whole time it was me. It wasn't me, it is I kept selecting men who want woman to be obedient or well behaved and I can tell you its doomed to fail from the beginning if you are with someone who has no compassion in the first place. (Men are not taught compassion for woman one of the purposes of this podcast is to educate men so they can have compassion for women). Have you seen the Barbie movie yet? How did you feel when you watched it? did it resonate with you? Were you one of those people who played with the dolls because it was an escape into a place better than the one you were in? or were you like me and you played with the dolls your way? For me I would play with my barbies by taking their heads off, It was so much easier to do their hair by removing their heads. I also liked to bury them (don't ask me why, to this day I do not know why. When you watch the movie the first scene is so telling it gives the origin of barbie in a brief 5-10 minute introduction. Little girls sitting on the sand playing with baby dolls and then barbie appears changing everything. Barbie was founded by Ruth Handler she was a mother, visionary and cofounder of Mattel with her husband Elliot. She had two children Barbara and Ken they were the inspiration for the doll line. Barbie's birthday was March 9, 1959. In the new movie Ruth Handler is portrayed by Rhea Pearlman (You know Carla from Cheers to give you a face with the name). My favorite part of the movie was when Barbie went to see Weird Barbie (I relate more with weird barbie than regular barbie). I can understand why woman didn't like the movie and I can see why others loved it and if you haven't seen it I suggest you go and see it and make your own assessment. AAAhhhhhhhh beliefs especially beliefs over 50! women have been told a story of who they are for so long the belief system had to change. The programming for so long has been do do do now its take care of yourself first always. Momma puts her mask on first in a plane before she puts one on baby. It used to be God, man, then children. I have always believed if you can't take care of yourself you can't take care of anyone else. This is true of all genders. Now I identify myself as gender neutral its easier to separate myself from the perspective men have about women. This episode is eye opening and gives a perspective of men. The misogynistic behaviors exhibited by men is in direct relation to how their mothers took care of them as children. Some mothers did everything for their sons, therefore they spend the rest of their lives looking for this same dynamic. Shaming women for not acting like their mothers. Shaming is done through punishing behaviors: passive aggression, open aggression, verbal abuse, emotional abuse and so on. (This is one perspective its called the Oedopis complex) The Oedipus complex, also known as the Oedipal complex, describes a child's feelings of desire for their opposite-sex parent and jealousy and anger toward their same-sex parent. The concept was first introduced by Sigmund Freud in his theory of psychosexual stages of development 27, 2023 The unresolved Oedipus complex is known to cause anxiety and confusion regarding relationships in adults and may develop a feeling of competitiveness toward people of the same sex. Jul 7, 2022 Thanks google,,, our beliefs keep us stuck in one spot if we look within ourselves and change the beliefs inside to reflect on the outside. Learning how to care for ourselves is one way to deflect this behavior and preserve our peace! Passive aggressive people! We have all been there! Maybe we even practiced this way of communication at one time in out lives! I know when I was a teenager "The Eye roll" was my favorite form of expression! I also used the sigh, the stand off, ignoring the problem, turning my back to the problem and so on. There are so many forms of passive aggression and today the cast talks about them. and laughs about it. Now we are all older we can see how this way of communication fails. People continue to stay stuck because as Kitty has always said "Be the change"! Be the change you want to see in other people! If you want love then do that be love! Be kind! Be mindful! Look at how you express what you need to others. Does it make them feel good about being with you? Yes we can all agree it can be funny when you whatch the eyeroll, hair flip, and twist. We all share our stories with one another and how we navigate this behavior now. One thing we can all agree on is people who practice this way of communicating is negative energy and we limit time around these people! Hello Hello Hello and welcome to the Naked Onion Mystery Tours Podcast! a podcast for women about women created by woman! And tonight's episode is being a senior and what it means to us now vs how it effected us as young adults! The definition of senior when we were young took on a different meaning. Being a senior meant at least for me Edith you weren't supposed to have fun I remember a lot of complaining done by the adults around me so I remember being a senior as Complaining about what ails you or complaining about work, or work yourself to death and being sick all the time. I told myself growing up I don't want this kind of existence for myself. Well history does repeat itself I realized if I didn't do something and do it quick I was going to be my parents! This episode gives perspective on being a senior now after covid, in the year 2023 We are not going down without a fight! SO come hang with the Cast of NOMT and get a little perspective of the New Seniors! Hey there! Have you ever caught yourself automatically agreeing to do something you didn't want to do? or have you ever gotten into a relationship where you were compromising for the other person all the time? How about talking to a misogynistic asshole and you disagreed with everything he said but you just kept nodding your head ignoring your boundaries and just being agreeable? Well this little action is the Art of being fake nice. Ignoring how you feel when you are around these kinds of people instead of leaving the room and saving your peace. Its not about "I was being considerate, I didn't want the other person to think I didn't like them". Ask yourself the question who was I hurting them or myself? When you ignore your own personal boundaries you are ignoring your own needs over you perspective of the other person. Loving yourself enough to stay away from certain energy types is so important to manifesting. When you are around triggers full time you take the spotlight off of yourself and put all your energy towards the thing and then it has control over you. In this episode the ladies share examples of these situations and give their perspective on Fake Nice! Note from the Editor Edith Ivhay Rosenblat Layers, Layers to an Onion... a naked Onion without skin... just waiting for someone to come and peel the layers back to find the sweet center... Nirvana, the Yin and the Yang, the universe the place we are all trying to arrive. The place where you no longer feel shame for not doing what others want you to.... How do you arrive there? Firstly By not procrastinating What is procrastination you ask? pro·cras·ti·na·tion noun the action "art" of delaying or postponing something. "your first tip is to avoid procrastination" I Edith have been practicing procrastination my whole life until I realized it was not getting me closer to my goal of reaching out to women and sharing my story of failures and success with woman so they can feel empowered to get out of the situation they are in and finally create their own way to find themselves in. I created my reality- a table of four women all in different states having different experiences coming together and having teachable moments and learnable ones too! This is experience has been mind-blowing I literally made it happen just by believing in myself and just doing it. Not waiting one minute but working on my dream every day a little bit a day when I have the time but doing it and not waiting. Procrastination is dangerous because one year turns into two years turns into 20 years and then you have waited to long! come in sit down with the Cast of the Naked Onion Mystery Tours Podcast and get some perspective on procrastination --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/nakedonionmysterytourspodcast/support

How are you feeling today? Can you make a choice of how you feel? or are you struggling with depression? Does mediation help you? or are you feeling like nothing helps? What is it about how amazing you are are you not seeing? Who is with you creating doubt about who you are? Because I want to tell you no one is perfect. No one knows everything. THis is why we are all working so hard to figure things out becuase the idea of someone telling you who you should be is nerve racking, its depressing (Especially) if you believe it. Think really hard about being perfect what is it really? Perfection to you might be going one day without symptoms of the illnesses that seem to follow you around. Lets start with just feeling better. Is this your perfection? Do you need another person in your life to heal your body? and if you have another person in your life are they helping you get to your goals or are they helping your depression get worse? Do you see how it is a choice and you can decide things? Perfection to me was getting everything which was influencing my decisions in a negative way out of my life. Slowly I was eliminating the people who had "Needs" I was not meeting for them. Can you imagine? I am a nurse to a lot of people each day, people who actually need me. Then I would come home and I had a neighbor who needed rides to the store, one who needed his dog walked, a neighbor who needed me because he had health issues and went to the hospital, then a husband who has been separated from me for 7 years and needed to see me on specific days, another neighbor next door who needed to talk about her ex. DO you see me doing anything for myself? I made a choice to help these people and not help myself? I want you to know i have gotten rid of all these made up chores I have created for myself and now I only work on me. Largely due to these women speaking today. The Naked Onion Mystery Tours Podcast and they are sharing their knowledge with you today! Beauty as they say is only skin deep, or now at 50 wouldn't you rather say "I will take the Beauty out for you when you match it with an even temperament". I will not give my beauty lightly upon one who is not deserving of it. "I will have kindness and goodness love and admiration, I will have all the things my temperament deserves". "Then you may have the fruits of my labor and my love for myself. Then you will see the beauty outside I cover up and lie about so I am not abused by those who don't deserve me".  Coach Kitty entered the Garage to have her car worked on, little did she know she was going to stand up for herself several times due to narcissism. When she walked into the garage she waited and waited until finally she could not ignore the fact it was taking way to long. She asked about the time and was given the run around not once but twice! She said "This is not acceptable"! firmly but not unkindly and was told inadvertantly by the manager to ShTFU give her a free car wash! 5'2" and 3stone Coach made her presence known by saying this "Is not acceptable"!  Thank you for listening to the NOMTPODCAST-Naked Onion Mystery Tours! This is a trigger warning the subject matter in this episode may cause anxiety or stress in persons who have experienced rape or molestation  it is the intention of this podcast to be the friend parent to women they did not have when growing up I am not responsible for how you feel you are not responsible for how I feel Positive outlook- Positive response Negative outlook negative response I remember reading "The four agreements" there was a story of a woman who had a glass star beautifully made and she had a friend and she asked him to take responsibility for the star. The man took the star and cared for it like it was his own. He took it out to clean one day and dropped the star into millions of small pieces. He cleaned up the pieces and brought back the star to his friend. He handed her the bag with the pieces. She states "Whats this"? Oh this is your star, I took it out to clean and it slipped from my hands onto the tile floor and shattered into a million pieces. "What am I supposed to do with this" she bawked. He looked at her and with sad eyes stated "I am truly sorry, however if you expected it to come back to you in one perfect piece then you shouldn't have given it to me".  The moral of this story? is you are responsible for your feelings. If you do not want others to have control over you and how you feel. Don't give them the responsibly of managing your emotions.  Stay in your frame, tell your own story, manage your own stars!  This is a trigger warning the subject matter in this episode may cause anxiety or stress in persons who have experienced rape or molestation  it is the intention of this podcast to be the friend parent to women they did not have when growing up --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Staying ahead of the problem your journey, in my opinion, has started. Once you start asking yourself the question and you problem solve within yourself to stay ahead of the problem, you start having less problems. When you walk the dog you help him with these things anxiety, depression, aggression to some their dogs have all these things and they maybe will take him to the vet. These are the dogs jumping fences, running off, and biting children. Staying ahead of this problem is easy, but to some because of laziness and procrastination they have the aggressive or so called misbehaved dog. How about your car? if you don't want it to break down over time you can get regular oil changes. Do you have trouble sleeping? one way to stay ahead of that problem is to exercise, drink water, eat clean meats and vegetables, and take magnesium all of this sounds easy enough but throw in the vices and you get procrastination. You love soda and find it hard to stick to any diet, you smoke cigarettes so the idea of exercise is offensive, you have a dog but work 12 hour days to pay the mortgage and you are exhausted. So many variables play into changing the patterns of how we live. However if you just put the action into "Getting ahead of the problem" your life will open right up! Edith your host and Producer/Writer/Podcaster Kitty Rebellion Tic TOk influencer/writer/diet abolitionist! It is the intention of this podcast to help women become more aware and get closer to their authentic divine selves so they can manifest the life they desire by being the friend/parent to themselves they never had! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Well I can tell you the podcast is about the latter part of the statement. I wasn't given the tools I needed to figure out how amazing and divine a human being I was so I didn't ask myself the necessary Questions to make that kind of assessment! Which is what makes todays podcast so special. Since I grew up not knowing who I was and having a really poor sense of self I have experienced a lot of abuse from strangers and and friends. I didn't know what a boundary was and I certainly did not know how to draw one. One day I woke up and realized with work I could make my dreams become a reality.
