It's the foundation of emancipation, allowing you to identify what's holding you back and create meaningful change. Transformation Through Self-Discovery Self-discovery is the first step to breaking free. By understanding what habits or beliefs no longer serve you, you open yourself to new possibilities for happiness and freedom. The Answers Are Within You True emancipation begins with recognizing that you already have the wisdom to overcome challenges and embrace freedom. Trusting yourself is key to navigating life with peace and purpose. Self-Awareness Fuels Growth Self-awareness helps uncover patterns that keep you stuck and empowers you to change beliefs, behaviours, or attitudes. As Albert Einstein famously said, "We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them." Interactive Exercise: Reflect on a recurring challenge and ask yourself: What belief or behaviour might be contributing to this pattern? How can I approach it differently? Changing Your Perspective A shift in perspective can transform your life. Self-awareness helps you see mistakes as opportunities, challenges as stepping stones, and limitations as starting points for growth. Empowerment Through Responsibility Self-awareness empowers you to take full responsibility for your life. It's not just about reacting to what happens; it's about intentionally shaping your responses to create positive outcomes. Affirmation: "I take full responsibility for my life. I choose to respond with awareness and create the freedom I desire." Inner Awareness Creates Outer Change Change begins within. You transform your external reality as you become more attuned to your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. Inner exploration is the essence of emancipation—freeing yourself from within to reflect your highest potential. Conclusion Self-awareness is the compass guiding you toward freedom. It empowers you to know yourself, trust your inner wisdom, and take inspired action to create a life of limitless possibilities. Reflect on one belief or pattern you're ready to release this week. Pascale ----------------------- FULL TRANSCRIPT ----------------------- Hello beautiful soul, Welcome to another episode of The Everyday Life Balance Show,. I'm Pascale Gibon, your host. Today, episode 377, we're delving into the transformative power of self-awareness in your journey of personal emancipation. Self-awareness, the cornerstone of emancipation, is the profound understanding of yourself, your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and beliefs. It's this understanding that empowers you to shatter the patterns that confine you. Let's explore how self-awareness can unleash your potential and liberate you. The Magic of Self-Awareness Self-awareness is not just a practice, it's a source of empowerment. It's a magical tool that connects you to life's mysteries and leads you to mastery, offering the clarity and control to revolutionise your life from within. But how does self-awareness contribute to emancipation? Let's explore six powerful ways it can support your journey to freedom. 1. Self-Awareness Creates Lasting Transformation Transformation begins with self-discovery. When you embark on a journey of self-awareness, you gain clarity on what's holding you back and what needs to change. This inner work not only paves the way for greater happiness and freedom but also fills you with hope for the transformative power you hold within. ✨ Imagine freeing yourself from habits or beliefs that no longer serve you. What could change in your life? Self-awareness is the first step to breaking those chains and opening new possibilities. 2. The Answers Are Within You As we explore self-awareness, we realise something profound: the answers we seek aren't outside of us they are already within. ✨ Emancipation starts with this truth: You are a soul having a human experience, and the wisdom to overcome challenges and embrace freedom lies within you. True emancipation starts when you trust yourself and realise you have everything you need to create change. Let's uncover how trusting your inner wisdom can guide you to greater freedom: · When you know yourself deeply and trust your inner voice, you are better equipped to follow the right path and navigate life's complexities with peace. Knowing you hold the answers is empowering, but what's next? Self-awareness often illuminates the areas where we need to grow. It illuminates the beliefs or behaviours that keep us stuck and helps us break free from old patterns. 3. Self-Awareness Fuels Growth Without self-awareness, there can be no progress. How often do we repeat the same mistakes, stuck in cycles of frustration? Albert Einstein said it best: "We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them." Adopting the principles of self-awareness helps you recognise these cycles and guides you toward where change is needed. Whether shifting a belief, behaviour, or attitude, growth becomes possible when you truly see yourself. This growth is your gateway to freedom from the habits and thoughts that have held you back. Interactive Exercise: Take a moment to reflect on a recurring challenge in your life. Ask yourself: What belief or behaviour might be contributing to this pattern? How could I approach this differently? 4. Self-Awareness Changes Your Perspective Seeing life's complexities or challenges differently is one of the most freeing experiences; it allows you to break free from a fixed mindset and embrace new possibilities. When we change the way we see a problem, everything changes. For example, instead of viewing mistakes as failures, we see them as opportunities for learning and growth. This mindset shift can transform how we experience challenges and open the door to new possibilities. Let me give you an example: It's like walking up a hill. From the bottom, it feels overwhelming, but as you climb and visualise yourself reaching the top, your perspective shifts and the path becomes clearer. ✨ Emancipation is about shifting from limitation to possibility. When you change the way you look at a situation, the situation itself changes. 5. Self-Awareness Gives You Responsibility and Power With a new perspective comes an incredible realisation: you have the power to take full responsibility for your life. Self-awareness shows you that freedom isn't just about what happens to you, it's about how you choose to respond. When you respond with awareness and intention, you reclaim your power to create positive change. This realisation instils a sense of empowerment and confidence in your ability to shape your life according to your desires. Taking responsibility is one of the most empowering steps toward emancipation. It allows you to reclaim your power and shape your life on your terms. Affirmation: "I take full responsibility for my life. I choose to respond with awareness and create the freedom I desire." 6. Inner Awareness Creates Outer Change When you take responsibility for your life, you realise that change begins within. As you grow in self-awareness, you become more attuned to your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, allowing you to transform your inner world and your external reality. This powerful connection between inner and outer change is a source of inspiration and motivation for your emancipation journey. ✨Indeed, this is the essence of emancipation: freeing yourself from within to create a life that reflects your highest potential. Think about a recent situation where your internal state influenced your external results. What did you learn from that experience? Recap: The Six Ways Self-Awareness Fuels Emancipation Let's summarise how self-awareness supports your journey to freedom: 1. Transformation: It creates lasting change by helping you identify what's holding you back. 2. Inner Wisdom: You realise the answers you seek are already within you. 3. Growth: It fuels personal progress by uncovering the patterns that keep you stuck. 4. Perspective: It helps you see mistakes and challenges as opportunities for growth. 5. Empowerment: It gives you the responsibility and power to shape your life. 6. Inner-Outer Connection: It allows you to transform your inner world to change your external reality. Remember, small, consistent changes can lead to big transformations. Closing Inspiration Self-awareness is the compass that guides you toward true emancipation. It is not just about knowing and understanding yourself; it's about setting yourself free. By unlocking your inner wisdom, you can break free from the thoughts, habits, and beliefs that no longer serve you. By embracing self-awareness, you step into a life of authenticity, power, and limitless potential. This week, take a step toward your emancipation by reflecting on one belief, habit, or pattern you're ready to release. Remember, the journey to freedom starts with knowing yourself. I'll leave you with this thought: "The more you know yourself, the more you can change your life." Thank you for joining me on this empowering journey. I look forward to connecting with you next Monday. Until then, I'm sending you lots of love and light.

In this episode, I dive into the transformative power of changing our perspectives, particularly through the lens of Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP). I share a realization I had recently: without altering our perspective, we cannot see our stories or circumstances in a new light. This episode is dedicated to exploring how shifting our viewpoint can unlock new opportunities for growth, healing, and self-discovery. I begin by discussing the essence of NLP, which is fundamentally about understanding our mind's patterns and recognizing our blind spots. Our subconscious mind often operates on autopilot, replaying past experiences and limiting beliefs that keep us stuck in a comfort zone, even if that zone is uncomfortable. I emphasize the importance of reprogramming our inner narrative to change how we perceive our experiences and, ultimately, our reality. One of the key techniques I introduce is subconscious timeline work. I explain how our subconscious does not recognize time, which means we can revisit past experiences and reframe them to create a more empowering narrative. By visualizing our future as if it has already happened, we can familiarize our subconscious with success and reduce the fear associated with pursuing new opportunities. I also introduce the concept of perceptual positions, using the metaphor of watching a movie. By changing our viewpoint—whether as an observer in a theatre or as a distant camera operator—we can detach from the emotional intensity of our experiences. This shift allows us to gain insights and empathy, reducing stress and opening up new solutions that were previously hidden by our emotional responses. Additionally, I discuss the technique of reframing, which involves changing the frame around our experiences to see them from a different angle. This simple yet powerful tool can transform obstacles into stepping stones, helping us to let go of limiting beliefs and embrace endless possibilities. If you are ready to learn these tools, techniques and methods for changing your beliefs, thoughts and stories, I invite you into the OUTSPOKEN NLP Coaching Certification. On December 1st, 2022 our family experienced a life changing event that I never thought would happen to us. This was the day our family home burned down. I am sharing with you this story, because it is Glory to God that my family was saved from the unthinkable. In the moment of watching all our possessions go up in flames my kids sat in the car praising God for saving us and that is the lesson I am bringing you today. How to change your perspective for the positive regardless of the situation or circumstance that has happened, because God is so good. A lot of times we attach a feeling or a belief to certain situations and if we are not consciously framing how we see things we can fall into a victim mentality. In this episode I want to help see how these thoughts may be holding you back and why changing your perspective will serve you well. EP 156 - Changing Your Perspective on Adversity When you are chasing excellence and trying to live your dreams, you will face adversity the likes of which most will never see. Being a champion means getting up every day and doing your best, which is more than most people can seem to muster up on a day-to-day basis. If you are attempting to achieve greatness, you will no doubt need to change your perspective on adversity if you expect to come out the other side a winner. What You'll Learn: Why Pedro has not had any guests on lately and what to expect from the ones that will be coming up soon What is the right question to ask when you are facing adversity you should never ask “Why me?” How the seasons of adversity help shape you into the person you are becoming Why Pedro feels it is your duty to grow and change as we go along in the world Why living an easy life is not conducive to getting you to where you want to go The reasons Pedro thinks that makes it so hard to break generational curses and change your family tree and where it's headed Why Pedro feels that chasing excellence and adversity always go hand in hand Why you need to prepare before you step on the battlefield for war How being grateful can help you through the hard times FAVORITE QUOTE: “If you want to be a champion, you cannot have an easy life.” -Pedro Meneses How To Get Involved: From rock bottom and $500 to his name, Pedro Meneses moved to the US, leaving everything behind seeking answers to turning his life around, becoming an entrepreneur, and thriving in business. How we view ourselves, other people, and the world around us has a huge impact on the emotions we feel, the choices we make, and the quality of the lives we lead. These are our perspectives, and they're the foundation our lives are built on…which is why changing them is so freakin' hard. In this episode, Forrest and Rick explore what perspectives are, what a healthy perspective looks like in practice, and how we can deliberately shift our perspectives over time. Specific topics include unpacking where perspectives come from, getting better at identifying when a perspective starts to affect our behavior, and thinking of ourselves as “rivers” rather than “rocks.” By the end of this episode, you'll learn the key skills you need to change the views that have been holding you back. In episode 452, Megan Johnson teaches us about the importance of mindset in the growth and success of our blogs and businesses. Megan took a big leap in 2021 and quit her job to become a full-time food blogger. Megan was super optimistic and excited, but then, in her first year, she failed... hard. Megan realized she had the wrong strategy. On top of that, when she didn't see success, she took that very personally. Megan has made it a priority in 2023 to fix her mindset and start pushing the limits for success with her food blog. In this episode, you'll learn why business success is not only dependent on your SEO strategy, how you drive traffic to your website or your email marketing campaigns, but also on your outlook on life and business mindset. - Make a list of everything you want to change and how you can make it happen. - Books and podcasts can teach you how to think positively. - When things don't go according to plan, give yourself grace. - Be grateful for what you have. - Acknowledge your accomplishments frequently. - Set goals, not deadlines. - Look at how far you've come, not where you're not. - Look after yourself through exercise and healthy eating - it can have a big impact on your work life. - What can you do to have a better outlook on your blogging journey? Mensimah's Round Table: Conversations with Women of Power and Grace
Pain can overwhelm us not only physically but mentally. When pain gets out of hand, it can become part of our identity or even consume our entire sense of self, having entire days revolving around the pain. Your very life becomes dedicated to pain, yet pain is something everyone wants to get rid of. So why does this happen and how can you get your life back when pain has become so unbearable? In this episode, we are going to look at the root causes of pain and how to shift perspective and heal. Pain alerts you that something needs attention. If you have a traumatic injury, the pain tells you the wound needs to be mended. But what's happening with chronic pain that continues for years and consumes your mind, is that the source of the pain is not being mended, and the alarm is constantly sounding out. Our minds are very intelligent, as well as our bodies. When there is something important in our mind that we don't acknowledge, push away, and do not tend to, the only option our mind executes is to alert the body though pain. So instead of thinking that there is something wrong in your body, ask instead, what needs to be addressed in the mind? Perhaps you are working a job that brings you down but you don't like to admit it. Maybe you are in an unhappy relationship that you continue to sit stagnantly in. Or you could even be in a very happy relationship, but you have allowed too many burdens and responsibilities on yourself in an attempt to please everyone else but you. Unresolved upsets in your life manifest as body pains until you do something about them. They are alerts that you have gone beyond your instinctual boundaries and are not speaking your truth. So instead of asking what's wrong with your body when you experience pain, ask what in your mind is screaming for your attention, but you continue to disregard and push away. Hopefully, you will recognize from now on, your entire thinking about pain has changed. In order to fully understand the true meaning behind pain, we must change our perspective on it and embrace new approaches to healing.Autobiographyhttps://mensimah.com/sankofa/Please subscribe/support our channelsReflective/Inner Work: https://www.patreon.com/join/mensimahshabazzphdDonation/Support: https://PayPal.Me/MRTPodcast https://mensimahs-round-table.captivate.fm/supporthttps://mensimahs-round-table-conversations.onpodium.co/donateContact Links:Mensimah's Round Table - Join Women's Group on Facebookhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/191292605667511Mensimah's Round Table Podcast:https://mensimahs-round-table-conversations.onpodium.co/https://mensimahs-round-table.captivate.fmWebsite:https://mensimah.comInstagram:@mensimahshabazzphdYouTube:https://youtube.com/@mensimahsroundtableCreate Your E-book:Write your story using an easy ebook template!http://sikayede.sqribblex.hop.clickbank.net

Recently we've been having MAJOR perspective shifts and have unlocked a completely new outlook on our lives. It can be easy to make excuses as to why you can't take risks for the sake of your dreams, why you need to give up on that goal that's getting hard, or even that you just don't have the time for it. All of these things we've been catching ourselves saying and WE'RE OVER IT!!! We're ready to shift our perspective, invest in ourselves, and create miracles with what we have right now.
