This is Christian Meditation for A Bigger Life – a time for you to relax your body and refocus your mind to experience the reality of God's presence. I'm Dave Cover. I want to help you with Christian meditation where you can break through all the distractions and experience God's presence through biblically guided imagination.  Acts 17:28 NIV “For in him we live and move and have our being.” Jesus said this… Luke 11:13 ESV “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” Sometimes the Bible refers to the Holy Spirit as “the Spirit of Jesus” (Acts 16:7), or “the Spirit of Christ” (Rom. 8:9). It's by the Holy Spirit that Jesus is present in you and with you. Ephesians 3:16-17 NIV “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.” 1 Corinthians 12:4, 7, 11 NIV “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. …Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. …All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.”  Galatians 5:22-23 ESV “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”   This is what it actually means to be “holy.” When you look at all the verses about the Holy Spirit in the Bible, one way to think of who he is is not just the Holy Spirit, but the Healing Spirit. The more you become aware of God's healing Spirit in your inner being – the more you pay attention to his presence and his leading – the more YOU will be transformed into the REAL YOU that God intended when he created you (2 Cor. 3:18). Sunday Gathering April 23, 2023 Ryan Kenny (Luke 7:1-10)When we open our lives to the Spirit of Jesus, we encounter a Healing Spirit. We are not guaranteed a once and for all miracle cure, but access to a Spirit that can bring healing to anything.

This is the recovery story of Daisy Vanslyke, a gentle spirit who spends most of her time healing other people. In her every word and wisdom, she speaks from the heart: she has endured some of life's greatest adversities and hardships, but she still finds beauty and purpose in herself, her children and her recovery. It's possible that your expectations are blinding you from your healing process. Find your path to a cure by obeying God's instructions. Let go of the images you created and follow this new path that leads to total healing. More than that, let go of your anger towards the Lord and be in a relationship with Him again.
