The concept is simple, but practicing it is extremely powerful (and important) For context, I started designing these MTBs as I struggled with sleep. I had always considered myself an "insomniac," and it became part of my identity. It's not - not sleeping is NOT natural. You NEED to sleep. (If you are struggling to sleep, let me know, and I will send you some tips and resources.) I was able to heal this "sleep disease" through different techniques, one of which is the most efficient one, not only for myself but also for clients in my 1 on 1 coaching that also have struggled with sleep. The concept is simple, but as with all powerful things, it will take time to master that skill, so be patient. Think of it as directly applying what we do when we meditate. Meditating daily, preferably twice daily, will help you train your mind and make that technique easier. It can be applied for sleep, stress, focus, peak performance, deep presence with loved ones, and anywhere you wish. Also, it is free to use and has no unwanted side effects

Intro Today it's about Mac vs PC and Android vs iOS. I'm going to bring up the differences between them that are obvious to me and why I may prefer one over the other. Mac vs PC – or Mac OS vs Windows Mac is not the most secure solution – That's an old claim. 10 Years ago, Wikimedia found that Windows visitors made up 90% of the traffic measured. Apple hypes up their speeds – Macs are SLOWER than PCs. Here's why. Louis Rossmann, has multiple videos where he demonstrates how Apple makes repairs nearly impossible to accomplish His repair shop Microsoft is bringing back Power Toys! – This is such an awesome throw-back that geeks, like myself, will not want to pass up. I feel like Power Toys kind of gave us that level of customization that a geek may feel is missing out-of-the-box. My conclusions are that, if I'm going to buy a Mac, I'd buy the higher-end model with Apple care because I've heard from friends that Apple's support is pretty good, but I'd also buy the Apple care + level of protection, just in case. PCs may come preinstalled with bloat, but that will depend on the manufacturer that you're buying from. If you buy a PC directly from Microsoft, such as a Surface product, then you're essentially getting a machine from the source, just as you would when buying hardware from Apple – You'll be getting the intended experience. Apple's iOS vs (many other manufacturers') Android Android sports customization and Apple sports simplicity – with a tax (they're way overpriced). Even with Jail breaking iOS, it was still lacking the basic home screen replacement possibility that Android has out of the box. With Android, you can instantly customize your phone with an app called Nova Launcher. With iOS, you're stuck with a mess of icons and folders. It hasn't changed much in 10 or so years. You definitely can get much more smartphone for your money with an Android-running device. Google makes the Pixel 3a, which can beat the pants off any other smartphone's camera:

To-do lists or reminders can be a very effective tool to help you be more productive. But do you know how to use them effectively? App versus print (notebook) Pros for app You take your smart phone with you everywhere. It will fix your spelling when you enter tasks (this is a big thing for me). You can also speak to enter tasks. Ability to set notifications. Not all reminders require notifications (such as shopping lists). Syncing among all your devices. Shareable with others. Cons for app I had to think hard for this: you can lose your phone or it could be damaged. However, your data will still be saved in the cloud. Pros for print No power needed. If the electrical system fails, I guess you will be the one laughing at the rest of us. Of course, you probably won't need a to-do list at this point! Cons for print Paper can get damaged and there are no cloud backups available. You need something to write with. You have to bring it and something to write with everywhere you go. And everywhere means EVERYwhere. Much easier to do with a smart phone because that fits in your pocket or purse. BIG TAKEAWAY: USE WHAT WORKS FOR YOU! Don't have one “catch-all” list Create multiple lists Shopping (one for each store you frequent) so when you go to store A, you just pull up that list. Lukas Graham - 7 years/子弹笔记法/子弹笔记法是由一位纽约设计师 Ryder Carroll 所创，他特别说到：这是为了数字时代里，仍然想要用一张纸就能开始做笔记的爱好者所设计的笔记方法。子弹笔记法顾名思义，快和准，像子弹一样命中目标，我们将每天要做的事情，写到清单里，作为一个子弹，在配合一些特殊定义的符号，能够非常精准的管理自己的任务，并能够起到非常好的效果/知识管理/我们每人每天都会摄入大量的信息，其中有一多半是无需管理和记录的，因为他只对当下有用，但是还有一小部分信息，它是组成自己知识的内容，知识的掌握无非是【收集／吸收／消化／回顾】我认为有两种内容可以成为知识，一种是【我要吸收的知识】，一种是【我创造的知识】我要吸收的知识对于我的生活和工作有帮助的知识，比如我是互联网行业的，那么我日常中发现的所有跟互联网相关的知识，都属于我要吸收的知识，它对我的工作和生活都很有用我创造的知识我会定期整理一些技巧性或者知识性的文章发布到【少数派、公众号、简书】等平台，另外还有不定期更新的 【PodCast 等内容，它们都是我创造的知识知识管理，就是利用知识管理的技巧（收集／吸收／消化／回顾），并结合相关工具达到对知识的熟练掌握/生活管理/日记的记录需要有一定的毅力，2016年我一共编写了90篇日记（没有达标），几乎每4天写一篇，看起来不是很多，但是我自己已经相当满意，毕竟人要跟自己的过去比较才有动力写日记对我来说是对自己一天生活的总结和管理，用 DayOne 记录日记，有几个非常有效的特点：1. 利用 DayOne 的提醒功能，每天定点提醒，通过点击提醒信息，跳转进入写日记节目，直接显示出提前准备好的模版，非常方便的对每天进行总结，以下是我自己正在使用的模版，每晚10点钟提醒2. DayOne 支持 MarkDown 语法，也方便将内容导出到其他笔记软 Ulysses ， Bear 等3. 支持天气、地理位置以及图片等多种纬度4. 2.0版本还增加了笔记本功能，这又是一款挑战 Evernote 的软件5. 颜值高，用起来感觉心情好日记一定不要占用太多时间，10分钟左右做一些记录和整理即可，从我2016年的体验看，日记也成为了我输出文档素材的来源，一些想法和思考，往往来自日记里的内容/应用推荐//Copied/Copied 目前为止最优秀的跨平台粘贴板管理工具，提供了 iOS 和 Mac 之间的粘贴板同步，当然 iCloud 也推出了自己的自动复制和粘贴功能，但是效率非常低，延迟高，且无法管理，Copied 不但能够同样实现 iCloud 的功能，他还提供了对内容的扩展管理/Omni Focus/OmniFocus 是一款著名的 iOS 和 Mac 端任务管理工具，其强大的任务管理功能令人用起来非常顺手，它有一套理念，通过软件的【视图】功能，非常方便用户进行任务的检查和回顾，它是我目前最常用的GTD工具/Be Focused Pro/Be Focused Pro 跨平台番茄时钟工具番茄工作法是一个非常高效的执行任务方法，以在厨房里做一顿番茄饭的时间为一个番茄钟（25分钟），在25分钟时间里集中精力做手头的事情，每完成一个番茄钟，可以休息一下，或者换一个环境，休息5-10分钟后可以开启另一个番茄钟实际体验上来说，番茄工作法在集中精力的25分钟内，可以高效的处理许多事情，一天下来5-8个番茄钟为最佳，可以完成许多拖延几天玩不成的任务/Spark/Spark 出自 Readdle 团队，Readdle 团队出过许多优秀的软件 PDF Expert, Celendars 5 , Scanner Pro , Document 5 ，Readdle 出品必属精品Spark 也是横跨 iOS 和 Mac 两端的邮件管理工具，它不但具有邮件智能归类提醒，还具有完整的附件管理功能，并深度整合了日历，诸多特色功能和设计细节中也不乏前辈 Inbox、Outlook 的影子，但它巧妙的将其集于一身，而且还免费在使用中，其智能归类功能给我留下深刻印象，简单的手势动作，就能让邮件处理效率大大提升，也不用被各种垃圾邮件困扰，非常值得推荐给大家使用/Workflow/Workflow iOS 上的著名效率工具工作流软件，使用方式也是极其极客，高阶用户需要一定的编程思想甚至是编程经验才可以，不过幸好官方提供了一个分享平台，大家可以自己总结好的经验发布到平台中，供所有人使用在 Workflow 的帮助下，我现在80%的工作都可以在 iPad Pro 上完成了/Bear/Bear ，一款具有极高颜值的 MarkDown工具，在目前有许多优秀 MarkDown 编辑器的工具里脱颖而出，迅速吸粉无数，也成为了我目前的主力编辑器，它提供了 Pro 版订阅功能，中国区每月10元，可以享受更多的主题以及同 Mac 的同步功能我最喜欢他的功能就是所见即所得效果，让你在书写的时候就能看到效果，而且颜值极高，给人以愉快的心情/WorkFlowy/WorkFlowy 一款非常优秀的大纲笔记应用，功能简洁但效率很高，我绝大多数文章的大纲都是在 WorkFlowy 上完成的，他不允许插入图片，不允许进行连接跳转，也不支持 MarkDown ，不过这种不收到扰的界面，非常有利于组织内容和结构可以说 WorkFlowy 是文字版的思维导图QuiverQuiver 号称程序员最喜欢的笔记工具前边我说过我是用 Evernote 做为我的知识管理工具，Evernote 就是一个仓库，而笔记功能是由各种笔记类应用来实现的，比如今天介绍的 Quiver目前 Quiver 只在Mac端存在，他有着非常独特的组织内容方式，称之为 Cell ，每一个 Cell 可以设置其文本格式方法，可选的方式有1. MarkDown Cell2. Text Cell3. Code Cell4. LaTex Cell5. Diagram Cell根据你的设置不同，其显示方式也就不同，在我实际体验中，写一些关于技术的笔记非常的直观和高效，而且预览效果非常棒（颜值高）/Ulyssses/Ulysses 大名鼎鼎的尤利西斯，【2016年Apple 设计大奖】得主一款不可多得的笔记软件，在 Bear 之前是我的主要写作工具，多文档，层级目录支持，这一点就比它的竞争对手 Byword，iA Writer 等要强很多，支持文件夹和过滤，可以说非常出色的笔记管理功能，同时还支持Dropbox 和 iCloud 导入多种格式输出，可以输出各种格式，甚至一键发布到 WordPress 和 Medium ，最新版本还支持了 TextBundle 格式，可谓诚意十足/Ceceree/Ceceree Mac端终于有了一款管理 App 的高颜值工具，他就像你的愿望清单你可以将你想要买的App 添加进去，软件可以提醒你清单里的软件版本变化，价格变化等信息
