Girls Gone Hallmark takes on The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening, the latest installment in the Hallmark Mystery series. What will Megan and Wendy think of the second movie in The Cases of Mystery Lane collection? And surely there's more to come, right? Fans can't be left hanging after that dramatic cliffhanger! When can we expect a third installment of The Cases of Mystery Lane? Email us your review at girlsgonehallmark@gmail.com or let's talk about it in the Girls Gone Hallmark Facebook Group! About The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening - (Hallmark Mystery, 2024) Mike Rohl directed. With 63 directing credits, Rohl has directed several episodes of When Calls the Heart, two episodes of Signed, Sealed, Delivered, as well as the first installment of The Cases of Mystery Lane. This isn't his only movie in the fall 2024 lineup; Rohl directed the upcoming Falling Together also starring Paul Campbell. Joel Dovev & Margaux Froley are the husband/wife writing team behind The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death is Listening. Joel Dovev has just three writing credits: these two movies, as well as a short called Bruce. IMDb also lists he is a writer on a project in development, and all it says is “Untitled Ashley Williams Kimberley Sustad Project.” Also noteworthy, Dovev was an assistant producer on the recent Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard. Margaux Froley has six writing credits, including the Cases movies, a Lifetime movie called Let's Get Physical with Jenna Dewan, as well as an episode of a 2008 series called Privileged, which starred JoAnna Garcia Swisher, Lucy Hale, and Ashley Newbrough. Froley is also listed as a writer on the Ashley Williams/Kimberley Sustad project. Aimee Garcia plays Birdie. Garcia's TV credits include Dexter, Hulu's WOKE, Marvel's M.O.D.O.K., Rush Hour, Vegas, and The George Lopez Show. She also headlined a Netflix film called Christmas with You. This movie marks Garcia's second movie for Hallmark, and it was just announced that Garcia will join the third season of Criminal Minds: Evolution on Paramount+. Paul Campbell plays Alden. With Campbell's 54 acting credits, we last saw him in last year's Magic in Mistletoe. It's kind of wild that it's almost been a whole year since he's been in a Hallmark movie. However, he has been busy. He's got two more movies on Hallmark, including Falling Together, which airs this Saturday. He will also reprise his role as Stephan in Three Wiser Men and a Boy this holiday season. Matt Hamilton returns as Officer ‘Air Quotes' Newton. Hamilton has 62 acting credits, with three non-Hallmark projects in production. He was last seen in A World Record Christmas during last year's Countdown to Christmas. Fans in the GGH FB group are calling for Matt to step into a lead Hallmark role. Meghan Heffern plays Birdie's old friend Kristen. Heffern has 69 acting credits, with roles in Betty's Bad Luck in Love and Retreat to You. She will be seen next in Autumn at Apple Hill. Samantha Ferris plays podcaster Laurel St. James. With a whopping 92 acting credits, you might recognize Ferris from Hallmark faves like A Picture of Her, A Winning Team, When Calls the Heart, and Christmas Under the Stars. Lillian Doucet-Roche plays fellow crime podcaster Katie. She has 18 acting credits, with the last six projects being for Hallmark. She recently played Mia Cavendish in February's Paging Mr. Darcy. Brandi Alexander plays yogi Wintress. Brandi is no stranger to Hallmark. She has appeared in movies like Wedding Every Weekend, Darrow & Darrow, and Christmas on Cherry Lane. No news if she will reprise her role as Daisy in the rum...

About "My Dreams of You" - Hallmark (2024) Directed by: Kevin Fair. Kevin has 49 directing credits and in addition to the slew of Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies he's directed, he has also recently directed: "For Love and Honey," "Legend of the Lost Locket," "A Season for Family," "Checkin it Twice" and "3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost." Written by: Gary Templeton and Marcy Holland Marcy Holland has 47 writing credits including hits like "A Biltmore Christmas," and the upcoming "Christmas Quest." This is Gary Templeton's eleventh writing credit, although his first for Hallmark. His other credits include movies like "Corduroy," and "Frog Goes to Dinner." Skyler Samuels plays Grace. Skyler has 32 acting credits and this is her second Hallmark appearance. She got her start in s how's like "Drake and Josh," "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" and "That's so Raven." She went on to play Gabby Petito in "The Gabby Petito Story." She's now playing Young Aurora Teagarden in the "Aurora Teagarden Mysteries." Kapil Talwalkar plays Michael. Kapil has 21 acting credits including the entire run of "Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist" as well as 16 episodes of the "Night Court" reboot. This is his first Hallmark appearance. Cecilia Lee plays Alura. This is a breakout role for Cecilia who has just seven acting credits (four of which are short films.) This is also her first Hallmark appearance. David Rosser plays Harvey. This is not David's first hallmark appearance as he was also in "Paging Mr. Darcy" and "Never Too Late to Celebrate." He has 43 total acting credits. “My Dreams of You” was filmed in Canada's Ottawa and surrounding areas. Talwalkar revealed that he wrote an original song with Lauren Ray for the movie. Watch the Trailer for "My Dreams of You" Our Thoughts on "My Dreams of You" What We Liked Firstly, big kudos to Hallmark for embracing diversity with "My Dreams of You". One of the film's strengths is its casting. We were thrilled to see an Indian American actor, Kapil Talwalkar, in the leading role. It felt fresh and exciting, breaking from the typical mold of Hallmark leads. Plus, let's not forget Cecilia Lee, who shone as Allura and, for us, stole the spotlight in every scene she was in. Speaking of characters, we appreciated Skylar Samuels as Grace. It seems Hallmark might be grooming her for the spotlight. From her earlier roles in shows like "Drake and Josh" to her Hallmark mystery stints, she's proving to be a rising star. As for the plot, Dream Central was a fascinating concept. We loved the big swings Hallmark took with this idea, even if it got a bit confusing at times (we'll get to that later!). And how adorable was that rain-soaked kiss? It brought a genuine sense of romance and progress to Grace and Michael's budding relationship without fast-forwarding to unrealistic love declarations. What We Wished For Now, onto our wishes. The movie didn't come without its flaws. We found that it suffered from a lack of clear direction in the storytelling. The dual dreams and real-life struggles theme felt a bit overstuffed. Dream Central could have easily carried the plot without needing both leads to chase professio...

She has 19 total acting credits and since we first saw her in "On the 12th Date of Christmas," she has appeared in "Her Pen Pal" and "Francesca Quinn, PI" as well as on the FOX series "The Big Leap." Related Podcast: Girls Gone Hallmark reviews "A Merry Scottish Christmas" Will Kemp plays Sam Lee. Will has 46 acting credits and we most recently saw him in "A Not So Royal Christmas" and in one of our favorite cameos of the season on "A Merry Scottish Christmas." David Picard plays the role of "charming man." David has 29 acting credits and appeared in "Christmas By Design" and "The Love Club: Nicoles' Pen Pal" for Hallmark Channel. Related Podcast: Was "Guiding Emily" one of the best Hallmark movies of 2023? It's assumed that this was a follow up to "Marrying Mr. Darcy" and "Unleashing Mr. Darcy" starring Cindy Busby and Ryan Paevey, however the movies are unrelated. Paging Mr. Darcy started filming in Ottawa, Canada on October 15, 2023. Filming locations included Carleton Place and the Grand Hotel. What's Coming to Girls Gone Hallmark in February?
Some program notes: we are not obsessed with Paul Campbell, he need not contact the authorities. We are not anti-LARPer or judgmental of people who enjoy cosplaying. We can't help but talk a little Vanderpump, we touch on vintage 90 Day Fiance. Also, Hallmark's movie this week was about some Cosplayers at a conference and the movie completely lacked the charm of Paul Campbell and the magic of Disney. Paging Mr. Kemp: you deserved better. Soundscapes: Tomorrowland Follow along with the show notes below! Want More Here With The Magic? Visit The Website: https://herewiththemagic.com Watch Here: https://www.youtube.com/HereWithTheMagic Connect on social media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/herewiththemagic Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/herewiththemagic/ ---------- (0:00) The age-old question inevitably posed to any visitor to the Magic Kingdom is this: which way do you go first? Once you've stepped off Main Street U.S.A. and into the Cinderella Castle hub, there are several stories that circumvent the sparkling turrets and elegant courtyards that call to us with equal vigor and intrigue. Some hear the tinkling of a carousel and head straight toward the Castle, over the drawbridge and into Fantasyland. Others are enticed by the sound of tiki drums and a resounding “Yo Ho” from Adventureland. Still others enjoy stepping back in time, whether into America's inaugural moments or the tumbleweed towns of the Wild West. Then, there are those whose insatiable curiosity is not fed by scenes from the past, nor by wandering the medieval villages of fairytales brought to life. These are the ponderers, the ones who yearn for the future and what unknown wonders it might hold. As Walt Disney once put it, these are the people who “savor the challenge and promise of the future.” They resist the gravitational pull of the terrestrial, the time-worn traditions of the past. They look to Tomorrow, and it is there that they find inspiration and delight. Today, we are among them. (3:15) There is a bridge on the eastern side of Cinderella Castle, complete with a silver archway and otherworldly rock formations jettisoning off on either side. The shining words emblazoned at its peak read “Tomorrowland,” and our curious minds awaken suddenly in excitement and utmost attentiveness. A land of discovery and off-the-charts imagination, Tomorrowland is distinctly unlike every other corner of the Magic Kingdom. Our eyes are drawn upward and all around. Here, the sky is most certainly not the limit; we have an entire universe beyond to explore. All along the walkway toward Rockettower Plaza, a streetcar in the sky glides by, smoothly and serenely escorting passengers to their various destinations across the galaxy. A friendly, robotic voice narrates a grand circle tour of Tomorrowland, pointing out popular attractions and must-sees on your visit to this futuristic destination. (4:49) As we pass the Monster's Incorporated Laugh Floor, the indomitable Roz drawls in apathetic tones that do not invite us to linger. An otherworldly symphony of sounds provides the rhythm for our journey, intriguing and unlike anything we might hear around the rest of the park. Synthesized and unrecognizable as being produced by any Earthly instrument, we catch glimpses of familiar tunes, including the Sherman Brothers classic that inspired so much of this place: “There's a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow.” (6:37) Up ahead, Rockettower Plaza is a technicolor tower of unrelenting kinesis. Planets and moons of all sizes and hues orbit each other, while rockets circle below, round and round the hub of Tomorrowland - a perfect bird's eye view of the action below. The Tomorrowland Transit Authority: PeopleMover sails along, around the edges of the plaza and off toward the spires of Space Mountain gleaming in the distance. (8:30) Tall and formidable and undoubtedly the marquee attraction of Tomorrowland, Space Mountain is a thrill and a wonder for all. How else can you imagine to fly alongside swirling galaxies and among millions of stars, all within the span of several minutes? Those shining spires call to the daring, the curious, and those who simply feel as drawn as Walt Disney was space: America's last frontier. Come, let's see what lies in store in the great, galactic unknown. (9:20) An enchanting Star Tunnel plays us a peaceful lullaby, pulling us into a trance as we make our way throughout the space station and toward the loading dock. Constellations float along in tandem with the music on either side, utterly mesmerizing and celestial. Let's pause Here for a moment, among the Magic of the stars. Adventure awaits, but it can always spare a moment of stillness and serenity. (11:38) Onward we go into the depths of Space Mountain. We can hear control tower happenings from our position at the launch, directing travelers all across the galaxy. (14:10) Suddenly, we find ourselves at the helm of our very own rocket, secured and ready (or not) for our own flight across space and time and the grand enigma of the universe. 3-2-1, blastoff! We are one among the cosmos, soaring and winding our way past the Milky Way as it glimmers against the star-strewn blanket of atmosphere. Arrestingly beautiful and oddly serene, it is awe-inspiring to imagine what it must be like to leave the world and all we know behind in pursuit of interstellar discovery. (15:34) A truly unforgettable thrill, Space Mountain leaves us both wind-blown and mind-blown upon our return to Earth. Then it's back out into Tomorrowland and Rockettower Plaza in pursuit of our next adventure. (17:25) Perhaps it's time at last to climb aboard the PeopleMover for a spin around Tomorrowland. Day or night, these views of the Magic Kingdom cannot be beat, and a relaxing, languorous journey is the just what we need after heart-pounding, high test Space Mountain. (19:37) A cool, evening breeze is a welcome relief as our chariot sweeps us away from Rockettower Plaza. Our first stop is a showcase of Progress City, Walt Disney's original inspiration for what later became EPCOT Center. Though his vision for a utopian community was never fully realized, the ideals, themes, and design elements are present throughout Walt Disney World, especially Here in Tomorrowland. (20:22) Gliding along, we watch young and ambitious future motorists taking their place behind the wheel for the first time in a tribute to the growing automotive industry of Walt's day. The Tomorrowland Speedway may not contend with the speed and stimulation that thrill-seekers crave, but the littlest drivers can't get enough. (21:20) And just like that, we're whooshed back to the rocket launch of Space Mountain, watching the rockets on their ascent to take off as we coast toward outer space. From the control tower, we hear that classic last-minute passenger being located. “Paging Mr. Morrow, Mr. Tom Morrow…Please contract Mr. Johnson in the control tower to confirm your flight to the moon.” Hoping Mr. Tom Morrow makes it before the day is through, we circle past shooting stars and rockets hurtling toward their lunar destinations. Then, it's back into the fading light of Tomorrowland, the spires of Space Mountain glinting in the setting sun. (24:32) Soon, we hear that jaunty Sherman Brothers tune rise up from the theater below, daring us not to sing along as we pass. The Magic Kingdom iteration of Walt Disney's exhibition at the 1964 New York World's Fair, the Carousel of Progress is not only a beacon of the ideals that governed Walt throughout his life and career, but of the ones that still hold true at Disney parks all across the world today. Though nearly six decades have passed since its debut, the Carousel of Progress remains a whimsical, timeless reminder of what can happen when we let our dreams take flight on the wings of Progress and innovation. (25:38) Leaving the notions of America's golden age of industry behind, we speed off toward an epic space mission, accompanied by the one and only Buzz Lightyear. Space ranger and galactic hero, Buzz has enlisted us to aid him in his quest to save the galaxy. Aliens and extraterrestrial volcanoes below promise a spectacular adventure. 27:30) With one final glimpse of the Kingdom beyond, our guided tour of Tomorrowland comes gently to its end. We're back on our own to feet, which may come as a relief after all of the excitement of soaring through the cosmos. Every sharp line and towering obelisk looks significantly larger from this vantage point, and suddenly we gain some perspective on our position in the vastness of the universe beyond. (29:30) A final destination calls to us today, before our journey through Tomorrowland can fully be considered complete. As night falls and neon lights burst into fluorescent life, music spilling out from a galactic hotspot invites us in for a spell. Offering casual indulgences and plenty of seating, Cosmic Ray's is a great place to kick back and enjoy the ambience of an alien night club. (30:45) Our host, the famous and celebrated Sonny Eclipse, takes his place at the piano for a rousing number he affectionately calls the “Planetary Boogie.” An obviously popular favorite amongst the regulars, this snappy, swinging number has even the humans tapping their feet and nodding along between sips of soda and bites of shoestring fries. Get up and dance, why don't you? Don't worry for a moment about embarrassing yourself - you'll never see any of these aliens again, anyway. (32:14) Appetites satisfied and sillies all shook out, we make our way back into the blanket of nighttime. Stranger Things have happened than to find ourselves among otherworldly creatures and stories in the course of a day at the Magic Kingdom, but we can't wait to do it again. We'd be remiss if we didn't allow these moments to enrapture us, call out our childlike wonder and fill us with lasting joy. This place is nothing if not memorable, whimsical, wonderful, inspiring. That is the promise of Tomorrowland: that we who seek to be a part of building the future must employ our imaginations as much as anything else. That the future is a promise built on what becomes of today, and Tomorrow is just a dream away.

This week the crew talks about all the usuals: ISC, SCL, as well as putting Expedition Ships against each other for exploration supremacy, and more. About the REED Organization: The very foundation of REED is based on the core values of the Research through the Exploratory ventures of each and every one of our members. We would be remiss if the Engineering of our Discoveries as an organization through the uncharted heavenly territories governing our space would not merit our pride. We continuously invest in implementing this knowledge for the furthering of this organizations interest. It is this ethos that sets us apart from the rest. Hello again Fellow Knackered Golfists,I hit 370 balls today at the range and I wanted to share with y'all that I have achieved the mythical golf ball hitting euphoric high. Not really. I will however need to visit with Mr. Ibu Profen. I was excited to watch the magnificent presentation of Pebble Beach Golf Links on CBS this afternoon from the 2021 AT&T Pebble Beach Classic. CBS did an immaculate job presenting Pebble Beach in all of her glory to the world with the use of drone footage, blimp shots, good comments, and Jordan Spieth. Seeing Jordan hole out on 16 was a shot that I will always remember because I was allowed to yell and scream at the sight of such an immaculate piece of shot making. Anyway I captured a bit of footage from the Haggin Oaks Driving Range for my new video for The Knackered Golfist on YouTube. I made footage for my new Callaway Great Big Bertha Heavenwood 7 wood and my Callaway Big Bertha Warbird 9 wood. Thanks for listening to the Knackered Golfist Podcast.

Paging Mr. Scorsese, your technique has been lifted! It's no accident this film has been called "The Goodfellas of figure skating" because I, TONYA is definitely the spiritual godchild of the style created by the Sicilian cinema master. If it invested more in the emotional drama of the characters without using distancing devices to undercut it at every turn, the film might have been less entertaining...but perhaps less problematic. Andrew and Phil go to town on I, TONYA.
