Si l'aspect sportif attire tous les regards, le parcours économique du club depuis son rachat par le Qatar en 2011 est tout aussi spectaculaire. Décryptage. C'est en 2011 que le Qatar rachète un PSG, alors criblé de dettes et peu performant sportivement, pour environ 70 millions d'euros. Depuis, le club de la capitale française a connu une métamorphose spectaculaire. Multiple champion de France, il est aujourd'hui valorisé à plus de 4 milliards d'euros, soit 60 fois son prix d'achat initial. Une montée en puissance rendue possible par une stratégie financière offensive reposant sur des investissements massifs dans tous les secteurs du club.Plus de 2 milliards d'euros investis, bien au-delà du terrainLa somme impressionne. Quelque 2,1 milliards d'euros ont été dépensés en transferts depuis 2011. Et ce montant ne comprend pas les salaires des stars comme Ibrahimovic, Cavani, Messi, Neymar ou Mbappé. À cela s'ajoutent des investissements sur le long terme, comme la rénovation du Parc des Princes et la construction d'un centre de formation moderne.Résultat, le PSG peut viser le très haut niveau européen avec un budget annuel avoisinant les 900 millions d'euros, bien au-delà des 450 millions nécessaires pour viser une demi-finale de Ligue des champions. The report reveals a four-team playoff that would include a semi-final and final.
