Joseph Sternberg addresses the looming "year of doom" in 2032, when the Social Security trust fund is projected to run out. Without reform, benefits could be slashed by 22% to match current payroll tax revenues, creating a massive political crisis. Sternberg explores potential remedies such as means testing for high-earners like Elon Musk or raising the payroll tax cap, though he warns these could impact broader economic growth. He highlights the generational fairness issue of asking younger workers to fund benefits that baby boomers were unprepared to pay for themselves. The discussion also covers the rise of Hasan Piker, a popular Twitch streamer who broadcasts far-left economic views to a younger audience. While Piker is photogenic and compelling, Sternberg describes him as a "popularizer" rather than a deep thinker. Piker's pugnacious approach serves as a bellwether for whether radical progressive ideas can succeed in general elections. (5)

It baffled sceptical scientists, drew in the journalist who'd later crack the Enfield case, and ended up filed inside a real CIA psychic-warfare programme. Was it a curse, conjured by human malice and aimed at one young woman? A planning botch-up means areas earmarked for high rise housing around Auckland's new Maungawhau CRL station are likely to be slashed. Council rules allow the most intensive housing, up to 15 stories, within an 800 metre radius of the station. But the high density housing zones around Maungawhau were based on the station having three pedestrian entrances, in reality there is only one. It means dozens of landowners will be caught short. Auckland Council's General Manager of Planning, John Duguid spoke to Lisa Owen.

Interview with Peter Ruse, Head of Corporate Development, and Nicholas Holthouse, MD of Mont Royal ResourcesOur previous interview: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/posts/mont-royal-resources-asxmrz-ashram-acquisition-drives-november-2025-asx-re-admission-8400Recording date: 4th May 2026Mont Royal Resources is on the verge of releasing a highly anticipated Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) for its Ashram rare earth project in Quebec, showcasing structural improvements that could redefine the project's financial viability. By strategically redesigning its operations, the company has successfully slashed projected capital costs by more than half, transforming the asset into an eminently financeable operation. This massive cost saving stems primarily from two pivotal decisions: securing a year-round southern road route instead of relying on ice-bound northern ports, and relocating the complex hydrometallurgical processing plant to the Port of Saguenay. Moving the plant away from the remote mine site to an established industrial port guarantees cheaper construction, better access to skilled labor, and proximity to mature mining services. Think of it like moving a specialized, high-tech manufacturing facility from an isolated island directly to an industrial park—everything from daily logistics to emergency maintenance becomes instantly more efficient and less expensive.Beyond its rare earth endowment, Mont Royal is unlocking a lucrative secondary revenue stream by actively targeting fluorspar. With impressive high-grade intersections reaching up to 20% and global metspar shortages driving prices to $400–500 per ton, this mineral acts as a standalone financial pillar rather than a mere byproduct. Despite a massive 200-million-ton resource, the operation is purposefully designed as a boutique, high-value asset. It plans to move roughly 70,000 tons annually in standard 20-ton shipping containers, significantly simplifying the supply chain compared to traditional bulk commodity movements.Crucially, Mont Royal is positioning itself to capture premium pricing outside of China's market dominance. By utilizing a CIF European price deck, the company aims to capitalize on extreme Western supply shortages. This disconnect is highlighted by europium prices, which can exceed $1,000/kg in Western markets compared to a mere $22/kg in China. With proven, uncomplicated metallurgy and firmly secured First Nations support, Mont Royal is advancing a generational critical minerals project ready to feed Western supply chains.View Mont Royal Resources' company profile: https://www.cruxinvestor.com/companies/mont-royal-resourcesSign up for Crux Investor: https://cruxinvestor.com

Mica Miller tried to leave. She filed for divorce. She called police fourteen times. She reported GPS trackers on her car. Slashed tires. Harassment. She told officers she was afraid for her life. Two days after serving JP Miller divorce papers, she was dead. Ruled a suicide. The federal indictment against Pastor JP Miller alleges a pattern that psychotherapist Shavaun Scott calls textbook coercive control: tracking devices, a nude photo posted online without consent, over fifty contacts in a single day, financial interference, and lies to federal investigators. People always ask why victims don't just leave. Mica did try to leave. Scott explains why the most dangerous time for a victim is often the escape attempt itself — and why every system designed to protect Mica failed her.Mica said JP "groomed" her starting at age ten. In February 2024, she was involuntarily committed for forty-eight hours. When she was released, her car was gone, accounts locked, and according to family, JP had removed evidence she'd been collecting. JP publicly called her mentally ill, said she needed lithium, told his congregation that sick people "don't know they're sick" and need to "trust people around them." Scott breaks down how abusers weaponize mental health narratives to make sure no one believes their victims. South Carolina still has no standalone coercive control law. The federal indictment against Pastor JP Miller is a roadmap of coercive control: tracking devices planted on her car, a nude photo posted online without consent, over fifty contacts in a single day, financial interference, and lies to federal investigators. Mica Miller called police fourteen times in her final months. She reported GPS trackers. Slashed tires. Harassment. She told officers she was afraid for her life. She told her family if she ended up with a bullet in her head, it wasn't by her — it was JP. Two days after serving him divorce papers, she was dead. Ruled a suicide.Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott has spent thirty years treating survivors of coercive control. She explains exactly what the Miller indictment reveals about how these patterns work — and why every system designed to protect Mica failed. Mica told police JP "groomed" her starting when she was ten years old. In February 2024, she was involuntarily hospitalized for forty-eight hours. When she got out, according to family affidavits, her car was gone, her accounts were locked, and JP had allegedly removed documents she'd been collecting about his abuse.JP told media Mica had "mental health struggles." In a sermon, he told his congregation that mentally ill people "don't know they're sick" and need to "trust people around them." Scott breaks down how abusers weaponize mental health narratives to discredit victims and ensure no one believes them when they finally try to escape. Forget what you think you know about this case. This is the deep dive that puts it all together — and what it reveals is a pattern of alleged predatory behavior that spans thirty years, two generations, and at least two suspicious deaths.John-Paul Miller built his reputation as a man of God. He stood at the pulpit every Sunday preaching salvation. But according to court documents, sworn affidavits, police reports, and a federal indictment, the man behind the cross was allegedly running a different kind of operation entirely. His first wife alleges he confessed to sexual misconduct with underage girls in his church. His second wife — Mica Miller — told police he groomed her from the time she was a child. She called for help fourteen times in her final months. She reported tracking devices. Slashed tires. Being afraid for her life. The system told her to wait. Two days after serving him divorce papers, she was dead. Now JP Miller has been federally indicted for cyberstalking and lying to investigators. Prosecutors allege he tracked Mica's every move, posted nude photos of her online, contacted her over fifty times in a single day, and then lied about all of it when the FBI came asking questions. He has pleaded not guilty. But there's more. Two civil lawsuits allege JP and his father sexually abused minors at their churches for decades. And then there's Chris Skinner — the quadriplegic who drowned two weeks after allegedly confronting JP about an affair with his wife. JP married that widow last year. Neither death has resulted in charges against him. This episode connects every thread. The allegations. The documents. The deaths. The man at the center of it all. You're about to understand exactly who John-Paul Miller allegedly is.#MicaMiller #JPMiller #TrueCrimeToday #BreakingNews #PastorExposed #FederalIndictment #JusticeForMica #CoerciveControl #ChrisSkinner #SolidRockChurchJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? HISTORICAL ECHOES: THE 10-YEAR RULE AND TIANANMEN BLINDNESS Colleagues James Fanell and Bradley Thayer. The authors draw parallels between current US policy and the British Empire's 1919 "10-year rule," which slashed defense spending based on the assumption of peace, leading to unpreparedness for WWII. Fanell recalls his intelligence experience post-Tiananmen Square, noting the US Navy dismissed the PLA Navy threat while myopically focusing on Russia. Thayer criticizes the US response to the 1989 massacre, where the Bush administration rushed to repair relations rather than recognizing the CCP as a "sadistic monster." They argue this failure to perceive the true nature of the regime allowed China to rise without political reform. FANELL NUMBER 21905 SHANGHAI RIOTS, BRITISH EMPIRE SIKH PATROL
