Infor announced a new partnership with Syntellis Performance Solutions, a leading provider of enterprise performance management software, data, and intelligence solutions. Voilà près de 20 ans que Calyps transforme les données en informations tangibles, permettant de prendre plus rapidement les meilleures décisions en entreprise. Depuis 2007, elle s’est également concentrée sur les besoins en information des établissements de santé, qu’il s’agisse d’hôpitaux, de cliniques et d’EMS: à cette fin, Calyps a conçu le mediCAL for Mediway, une solution basée sur la technologie Qlik Sense. Comme mentionné par Reto Engler dans l’épisode précédent, l'interface entre Qlik Sense et le logiciel ERP (Entreprise Resources Planning) est clé pour délivrer les bonnes informations. En Suisse, le logiciel Mediway développé par Logival constitue une référence pour une portion significative de cabinets et de centres médicaux. Il s’articule autour de 3 dimensions opérationnelles: le dossier médical du patient, les agendas pour planifier les ressources internes et la facturation. Après des incursions remarquées dans les secteurs des télécoms et du retail, Karim Bensaci a attentivement analysé les données socio-économiques et identifié les flux d’activités essentiels aux établissements de santé en Suisse et en Europe. Dr. Gab’s, c’est pas moins de 16’000 hectolitres (1’600’000 litres) acheminés aux quatre coins de la Suisse chaque année, dont 6 bières brassées annuellement dans plusieurs formats: bouteille consignées, bouteilles “VP” (verre perdu), canettes 50cl et fûts. Autant de complexité à gérer au niveau des approvisionnements et de la logistique ! QLIK QLAK DEMO La démonstration de Reto commence avec le malt, matière suivie avec attention dans Qlik Sense, selon le niveau de stock actuel ; les quantités utilisées pendant les mois qui ont précédés, visibles en quantité de malt utilisé par batch de production effectué ; les productions de bière, ainsi que les commandes de matière première prévues dans le futur. À noter que les décomptes de matières utilisées sont automatisés, grâce à l’interfaçage de Qlik Sense avec Aubep, le programme type ERP utilisé à la brasserie: ainsi, des warnings rappelant les “stock min” (seuil de quantité au-dessous de laquelle une commande de matière première est déclenchée par Dr. Gab’s). Les étiquettes pour bouteilles en verres constituent un autre challenge en termes de suivi: les bouteilles en verre, consignées puis récupérées dans leur caisse de 20 sur le marché de l’’HoReCa’ (hôtels, restaurants, cafés) alors que ces mêmes bouteilles sont directement recyclées par le consommateur sur le marché Retail (magasins et grandes surfaces). Had a great chat with Masaki who works as a pre-sales manager in Japan. He and his co-authors spotted a gap in the market where there were no Instructional Qlik Sense books written in Japanese. So they decided to write one themselves, they had a few challenges on the way such as what material to include without the book being 2000 pages long but the rest is history, you can go to all of the popular online book stores and buy a copy. What a great example of entrepreneurial spirit and go get attitude.

Hi folks! We have Blacki Migliozzi and Eric Roston from Bloomberg on the show to talk about their recent data graphic piece on climate change called "What's Really Warming The World?" The graphic shows, through a "scrollytelling," what factors may influence the world's temperature according to well-established climate models.
