Depending on who you talk with, you'll get varying perspectives on this generation - the Millennials. But what should you believe? Are there some misunderstandings surrounding the negative press especially within the work environment? Our guest - Sahar Paz - believes there is and in this episode of The Kingsley Grant show, she breaks down how understanding the millennial mindset, makes a huge difference in engagement and retention of your best millennial personnel. ++++++++++++++++ Who is SAHAR PAZ? In this episode, I'll be speaking with Sahar Paz about how our authentic voice can be a force for change in our lives and in the world at large. But with all of the external voices and conditioning that we receive in the modern world, how do we know what our authentic voice sounds like? How do we overcome the inner blocks we might feel around expressing our truth, setting boundaries, cultivating intimate relationships, and speaking up about the issues that matter most to us? How do we learn to trust ourselves and stand proudly in our feminine voice, like the spiritual leaders of pre-patriarchal societies?Sahar Paz is originally from Iran and came to the United States as a refugee of war when she was a child. She realized the immense privilege of having a voice and has made it her mission to unleash her voice and uplift the voices of others. She's a thought leader and entrepreneur, and has a beautiful method for understanding our inner voices, that can help us to express our outer voice. For this month's free gift - Sahar's 'Finding your Authentic Voice' ebook - make sure that you're on the mailing list here: https://tara-wild.com/dreaming-the-ancestorsFor more information about my Wild & Wise monthly membership, head over to: https://tara-wild.com/wildandwise/

*(please note, the company name is own-your-voice, many who read my bio are inclined to say Own-Your-Own-Voice, which is incorrect. I sincerely appreciate if you would take a moment to practice simply saying own-your-voice. Many thanks!) Sahar Paz didn't grow up playing house, she played office. At the age of 13, she launched a baby and pet sitting company generating more cash flow than all the lemonade stands in the neighborhood! A natural leader with an active left-and-right brain, Sahar was 25 years old in New York City with a lucrative career in Finance and bored out of her mind. Inspired to share what she learned in business, she pivoted and dedicated herself to feeding the entrepreneurial voice of teenagers by founding Free Your Star Foundation. The nonprofit partnered with low-income high schools in Brooklyn with credit-earning programs written by Sahar herself. Championing the voice of others to help them understand their emotional intelligence and their personal drivers has always been Sahar's mission. Her book, Find Your Voice part-memoir, part cognitive behaviour guide, epitomizes that pursuit. Published in 2014, her message gained attention within forward-thinking organizations such as HBO, Facebook, Whole Foods, and the Texas Medical Center, where Sahar was invited to deliver keynote presentations. After five years on the road, Sahar became the CEO of Own-Your-Voice Strategy Firm, a personal branding agency that focuses on placing professional on stages to speak. Today, she resides in Houston and has given up pet sitting to play with her dog Rico instead. Please help me welcome today's speaker, Sahar Paz! “start that personal brand even if it is a founder page on your organisations website. When you're so aware and analytical, you got to get out of your head Black and white bob - think all or nothing What Sahar means by one's voice Our brain mapping happens 2x: when we're 7 and then again at 16 Listen to the voice that is most authentic to you How to constructively listen to oneself Feelings won't lie. Finding all the voices and understanding which one is yours; you'll feel it on a gut level. What was happening to you in your first 7 years? Your teenage years? What was your identity? Is it true to who you are today? Are there some patterns that need unlearning? Listening What feelings are you wanting to feel? On your way to that feeling, what are you trying out? What do you think you 'should' be doing? The feeling is the target and the activities are what make that feeling true for me Meditation and Affirmations The moment after affirmations and the positive side of negative emotions Pay attention to what your voice is disagreeing Pessimism prepares you; Sadness shows you you poor love into details; Anger shows you how important something is to you Process emotions, otherwise we get stuck What is the purpose of this emotion? Acceptance happens by acknowledging, seeing the positive side, repetition and compassion. It's not being a victim Granular with goals and affirmations "I will" to let brain know I am in action now Don't get caught up in narrative of rebuttal Listening - an act of self awareness. self regulation - regulating what you're going to act on. Named all the voices and decide what to do with them. Listening gives you a choice. Sahar's morning preparation - breathing, smiling, grounding Sahar's gift : What you say can impact the world

We had the opportunity to chat with Sahar Paz, CEO of Own Your Voice Strategy Firm, about her journey, her perspective on gratitude and take on mental health. This interview absolutely blew us away and we couldn't be more excited to share it with all of you.
Sahar Paz's diverse career in New York City spanned from banking, to fashion, to nonprofit. She is currently the Director of Culture and Communications at PinkCilantro, a Digital Brand Building Agency, in Houston. She is an author, speaker, and hosts online training to help people find their voice at www.findyourvoice.world. Sahar's thought-provoking keynotes have been presented at respected conferences such as Emerging Women Live, and the University of Denver Women’s Conference. Her clients range from Fortune 500 companies like Facebook and HBO, to socially-conscious organizations like Whole Foods. Sahar fled Iran as a child. She grew into adulthood in the U.S. and found success only to have it slip away. Although the bombings in Iran ceased in her life, the shame and prejudice followed her, creating a war-of-words within that drove her towards wanting to end it all. Sahar survived and fought her way towards healing, truth, purpose, and clarity. She now helps those suffering from mental slavery. Through her book “Find Your Voice” and its accompanying online training program, she guides us to step fully into our power by embracing our most authentic voice at www.findyourvoice.world.
Every cell in our body holds our experiences. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Do you ever wonder how to release what no longer serves you? Myself, along with author and keynote speaker, Sahar Pazirandeh, will bediscussing how to release energy held in our cells, and move past traumatic experiences. Join us Wednesday at 12PT!
