Programledare: Cecilia Strömberg WallinProducent: Marie Liljedahl Veckans tips:Sajter:Hästsverige: https://hastsverige.se/SLU:s bibliotek: https://slu.se/site/bibliotek/Belöningsbaserad hästträning i Sverige: https://bhis.se/Läsning:Filosofen Martha Nussbaum och sociologen Kendra Coulter

During the pandemic many people started businesses and even more are sitting in a corporate role right now thinking you're going to start a business and leave the 9 to 5 behind. That's all great, but when the elation of the start up phase is over, you need to be able to sustain that new business through the long run. Anna Lundberg suggests you need to start with your "why".  If you are not clear about why you do what you do, what you want to accomplish as a person and a business it will be hard to find real success.

This week on the Girls 4 Greatness podcast I am welcoming Anna Lundberg back to the podcast. Anna made her first appearance in my first season, episode #37, an episode entitled “Reimagining Success.” Today Anna and I are discussing how she has in fact reimagined success in her own life since her last appearance, as well as the importance of focusing on establishing a solid work/life integration in our lives.  Anna is the founder of One Step Outside, where she helps experienced professionals around the world design a career, business, and lifestyle that brings them more freedom, flexibility and fulfillment outside of the conventional 9 to 5. Anna has years of experience in corporate marketing with beauty and luxury brand management. She eventually left her career at Procter and Gamble in 2013 to start her own company that provided digital marketing consulting to well known brands like Burberry to exciting new startups and solopreneurs.  Anna now combines her expertise in corporate marketing with her training in coaching and positive psychology techniques to help people reimagine the next phase of their career with a blend of life coaching and business mentoring. Anna is also the host of her own podcast, Reimaging Success,  and she is the author of two books, Leaving the Corporate 9 to 5 and her latest book, Outside the 9 to 5.   I invite you to listen in as Anna challenges us all to look at how we can better understand our own work/life integration, as well as how we can quiet the distractions in our lives and truly hone in on what is important to us.  Please be sure to check out Anna's website, www.onestepoutside.com, and be sure to listen in to her podcast by heading to https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/reimagining-success-with-anna-lundberg/id1444846932.  You can also purchase Anna's books by heading to the following links: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Leaving-Corporate-Stories-people-whove/dp/1999700708/ and  https://www.amazon.co.uk/Outside-practical-profitable-flexibility-fulfilment/dp/1999700724/.  You can follow Anna on Instagram under @annaselundberg and on LinkedIn and You Tube under Anna S.E.

Uppslagsordet ”hemland” återfinns i band 11, publicerat 1930.

This module functions as a metaphor for the lens. This lens helped me to recognise that (a) The word economy's  functions in the capacity as  a mode of care (b) the provision of what is necessary for the health, welfare, maintenance, and (c) protection of someone or something according to dictionary.com such as A Bajan's Colourful Economy© 2022ISBN978-976-96893-5-0. During my academic career in pursuance of a Bachelors Degree in Media Arts at New Jersey City University one of my core courses was Economics. I became very fascinated about this discipline because I had the opportunity to study the production and distribution of resources, goods, and services by collecting according to bls.gov/ooh/life-physical-and-social-science issues. and analyzing data, researching trends, and evaluating economic issues. In light of this admission I feel comfortable , occupying this space. As a Media Practitioner who sees colours in everything around me and every moment of the day I am forced to stop and analyse the impact each of these colours is having on me. Whether it's the calming effect of blue skies and fields of green, or the drooling effect of inducing red and yellow of my local fast food restaurants and supermarkets, each colour has a meaning and taps into emotions. There's a whole science (and art) in the meanings of colours. Welcome to episode 118 of the Löw Tide Böyz - A Swiun Podcast! We have a new show format for everyone this week. Welcome to our new “Countdown to ÖTILLÖ” show where we will be discussing our journey to the start line of the 2022 ÖTILLÖ, The Swimrun World Championship in September. Joining us on this episode is two-time ÖTILLÖ finisher Anna Lundberg who give us a her perspective on the race from the middle of the pack and three-time finisher (and walking knowledge bomb) Andy Blow, Co-founder of Precision Fuel and Hydration, who shares with us a roadmap for training our “gut” for the big dance. How's the Body? How's the Mind? When we started this show in 2020 our thought was to help grow the sport but also share our journey. I'm that spirit, we figured we might as well put it all out there now that we have a chance to race what is going to be one of the craziest events that we've ever done. ÖTILLÖ is a quest. It really feels like such a privilege to have the chance to race the original Swimrun. This is a quest that many have taken and it's going to be a thrill to experience all of it.Sitting here 5 months out, we're both feeling super motivated both from a training and team perspective. We are trying to keep in focus that we want to be as prepared as we possibly can for ÖTILLÖ so that when the event takes place, we can have as much fun as possible out there in the Archipelago.Rich Roll's 2017 ÖTILLÖ ExperienceWe recently re-listened to Rich Roll's race report podcast from his 2017 race with coach Chris Hauth. It was really interesting to hear about his journey and definitely got us stoked for our forthcoming adventure. Anna LundgergAnna reached out to us after we found out that we qualified for ÖTILLÖ and offered to share with us her perspective on the race from the middle of the pack. She is a two-time finisher of the race and we really appreciated her coming on to discuss the important race cutoffs and her training tips for the event.Andy BlowAndy was cool enough to come back on the show during his latest trip to the U.S. to chat with us about fueling and hydration for ÖTILLÖ and how we should be approaching gut training to be able to take in as many calories as we can to keep our energy levels up. He was recently on a webinar with Matt Dixon of Purple Patch Fitness that is a great long form discussion of what we discussed on the show. Here are some additional resources from PFH regarding the interplay between fat burning and fasted training. That's it for this week's show. When it feels like you've stretched yourself to the limit trying to make both ends meet while taking care of the nitty-gritty of daily life, you wonder how to even begin to carve out space for your big dreams. Where do you find the energy for that second wind to take the game to the finish line?  There is no shortage of advice when it comes to entrepreneurial hustle, but if you still feel stuck after following them to a T, then you need to take a step back and reassess the fundamentals: Your health, your vision, your energy, your values. People typically equate “doing more” with progress, but this is not always true.  Why does it feel like you're not moving the needle despite your daily efforts? Doing more of the wrong things actually does more harm, particularly to your health, your wellbeing, and your goals. On the contrary, doing more of the right things can catapult you from an uninspiring, and financially challenging spot, to the very peak of Maslow's pyramid — fulfillment. But what ARE the right things?  For this episode, I invited Anna Lundberg- founder of One Step Outside- to talk about the many ways of getting one's self unstuck from an overwhelming and unproductive state, to a higher level of frequency that allows you to achieve greater clarity and focused energy towards your lifelong dreams and goals.  Anna Lundberg is the founder of One Step Outside, where she helps experienced professionals around the world design a career, a business and a lifestyle that brings them more freedom, flexibility and fulfilment - outside of the conventional 9 to 5.  Ex-Oxford and former brand manager & head of digital at Procter & Gamble, today she combines her 10+ years of experience in global branding and digital marketing roles with her training in coaching and positive psychology techniques to help people reimagine the next phase of their career. Anna offers a blend of life coaching and business mentoring on a one-on-one basis and in a group setting. From taking care of yourself to realigning your vision with your values, Anna and I tackle ways in which you can overcome paralysis brought about by the deluge of tasks and ideas that don't seem to get you anywhere.  There is no copy-pasting the definition of success. Its meaning has to tailor fit you, and only you. Do you have the resilience it takes to move your business and your life forward?  Listen to the podcast to find the answers!**********Topics discussed on the show:**********Reasons for feeling overwhelmedHealth as the main foundation of your goalsPassion projects to inspirePrioritizing your valuesHaving clarity of visionBeing a part of something biggerStepping outside your comfort zoneThe criteria for successCreating intentionality in pursuing your visionThe definition of success is PERSONALAnna's 5 Pillars of a Sustainable BusinessThe importance of writing your goals on paperYour comfort zone is uncomfortableLevels of Energy: Spirituality and SuccessGrit and Resilience as the biggest driver to success********You can find Anna at:********Anna's Website (With other links):https://onestepoutside.com/links/LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/annaselundberg/?originalSubdomain=ukInstagram:@annaselundberg********Mentions:********Leaving The Corporate 9-5 by Anna Lundberg:https://www.amazon.com/Leaving-Corporate-Stories-people-whove/dp/1999700708Reimagining Success with Anna Lundberg:https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/reimagining-success-with-anna-s-e-lundberg/id1444846932Levels of Energy by Frederick Dodson:https://www.amazon.com/Levels-Energy-Frederick-Dodson/dp/1450569323Deep Work by Cal Newport:https://www.calnewport.com/books/deep-work/

In today's episode, Anna looks back to October 2018, when she published her book, Leaving the Corporate 9 to 5: Stories from people who've done it (and how you can too!) After interviewing 50 people who have left the corporate 9 to 5 to forge their own path, Anna Lundberg has collected their stories in a book that will inspire you with the possibilities that are out there and reassure you that you're not alone in looking for an alternative. Although the people interviewed all share the experience of leaving a full-time job to pursue something different, that ‘something different’ that they have chosen has manifested itself in varying ways. The stories include those who have moved into a different sector; gone freelance; launched their own business; created a portfolio career; or taken a leap of faith, not yet knowing what the next step will be. In addition to the stories themselves, Anna shares her perspective and guidance from her own experience in leaving her corporate job and from her clients’ experiences, drawing out key insights to help you create your own career transition story. Ready to leave your nine to five job behind? Before you do, our guest Anna Lundberg suggestions you think about the following five elements necessary to create a sustainable business. 1. Create a vision for you business.  And this is unique to you.  Re-imagine success not as defined by others, but what you want your business to look like. 2. Get your mindset right.  This is about developing the confidence to face the ups and downs of your business 3. Create a business model.  Define your services and target markets, and how you will generate revenue.  4. Define your brand.  It is easy to get caught up in the day to day, focusing on the next sale, but some of your effort needs to be focused on building your brand platform.  This platform will set up up for long term success.  5. Find work life integration.  This doesn't mean balance and an even split between work and the rest of your life, but it is about defining how your business will fit into the rest of your life.

Catriona Horey is an executive coach based in London and a lead trainer, supervisor and assessor of coaching for the MOE Foundation. She spent the first ten years of her career transforming the performance of nonprofits, social enterprises and leaders in social innovation, but in 2013 a bereavement and a collapsed lung led to her reassessing her priorities, with the message ‘I'm too far away from the joy' appearing in her mind. That set her off on her journey into coaching, leading to a thriving business today working with leaders in social innovation, high potential professionals and women who want to redefine their priorities. In this episode, we talk about:- How becoming a mother has been fundamental in the way she has developed her business and how it is possible to have it all, but over a lifetime.- The question her coach asked her which made her look at her whole career plan completely differently.- Marketing: why you should choose the marketing strategy that works for YOU, and the marketing distinction that made the difference for Catriona.- What Catriona did to generate 11 clients when her first batch of practice clients wrapped up.- The way Catriona thinks and talks about her purpose in life.Over the course of this podcast, Catriona and I hit SO MANY of the common questions and challenges coaches face, including money, the question of niche, coaching on the phone, networking, connecting and more. For those who consider themselves lifelong learners, keeping informed goes beyond continuing education. It’s a hobby on its own. Thankfully, there’s so much information available, we don’t need to go and pursue degrees in order to get the skills we need to take that next step. Anna goes to events, talks to people, reads, listens to podcasts, and builds her personal library of information all the time. Before getting into coaching, Anna recommends working with a coach yourself. Not only can you learn how different coaches interact with their clients, but you get to experience the process. And if you’re going to coach other people, there’s more to it than knowing how to do what you do. As coaches, you understand the importance of personal development and growth, so it’s also important to engage in that personal development and growth. When it’s time to start looking at your pricing, there are several ways to come at it. You can start from the bottom up, meaning look at your expenses and time available or you can go top down, where are you take a look at what you want to make, what time you have available, and then work out your pricing. So mostly, it’s a matter of determining what you need, what you want, and how much energy/time you have. For the transcript and more visit compasspod.com/017

Here at Smashing the Ceiling we love to showcase the careers of women who have taken the road less travelled, and there's so much to discuss on that front with today's guest, Anna Lundberg, a woman who has always forged her own path. She freely admits that she has always been one to keep her options open, choosing the International Baccalaureat instead of 'A' levels, Philosphy, Politics and Economics at uni, and a Masters in Political Science, International Law and International Economics. Her quest to work for the UN didn't quite pan out, and she started her career with Proctor and Gamble, where she spent 7 years, initially in brand management and then the brave new world of digital marketing. Digital marketing was barely a thing when Anna started at the company in 2007 but taking a leap into a new world led her to places she wouldn't have expected. However, whilst on sabbatical in 2013, she decided there was more out there with her name on. She established her own digital marketing agency in 2014, and whilst freelancing between international jaunts, she took a coaching course in 6 months that was meant to take 2 years. She now runs One Step Outside, a personal coaching and training companies for ambitious individuals and teams who want to make a difference without sacrificing their health and relationships to do so - so tune in to hear more!      In this episode we discuss: What Anna wanted to be when she grew up   The various jobs she tried at school, none of which contributed to her future career!   Her undergraduate studies at Oxford, taking a Masters in Geneva and her unsuccessful attempt to work at the UN   Starting work at Proctor and Gamble, and breaking into the new sphere of digital marketing   Realising the disconnect between where she was professionally and where she thought she should be, and starting to think about other options for her career   Being bold and stepping outside your comfort zone, shrugging off her “Good Girl” mentality   Quitting your job without another one to go to    Starting her new business on her return from her travels, and getting that off the ground   The ins and outs of running a small business, including lone working from home and the financial insecurity of self-employment    Being patient when you’ve started a new venture, and having realistic expectations   Anna’s “hippy period” (her words, not mine!) and how she ventured into the coaching world   The concept of One Step Outside and what Anna does now, challenging people to move from ‘comfort’ to ‘growth’   Why everyone needs a coach!     Her new podcast, “Reimagining Success” and thinking about what you really want from life Where to find Anna: The OneStepOutside website: https://onestepoutside.com The Reimagining Success podcast: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/reimagining-success-with-anna-s-e-lundberg/id1444846932?mt=2  LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/annaselundberg/   Twitter: https://twitter.com/annaselundberg    Follow us for more: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/smashingtheceiling/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/smashingceiling Facebook: www.facebook.com/smashingtheceiling

Anna Lundberg is the founder of One Step Outside, where she helps people around the world build businesses and create a lifestyle that allows them an unimagined sense of freedom, flexibility and fulfilment. But that’s not how she started her career. Like most of us, Anna began by climbing a traditional corporate ladder at Procter & Gamble as a brand manager. In her 7 years with the company, she worked on high-end fashion accounts like Dolce & Gabbana and lived a glamorous lifestyle. But after leaving for a short sabbatical, Anna realized that she didn’t want to go back. She left her career without much of a plan. Through consulting and taking on clients of her own choosing, Anna created a new business and life for herself. /Martin

It’s accepting that there’s a level of uncertainty because we can never know. But us being okay with it, being okay with being a little bit uncomfortable.”   “Some people find it quite overwhelming to define your purpose - it feels very big. It’s like you’re trying to find the meaning of life. And that can be quite scary and uncomfortable actually.”   “It’s up to you to define what that aim or purpose is. And I think the reason why it’s so important is because we get caught up in other people’s definitions.”   “Your mission statement is a beautifully crafted sentence or it’s some kind of visual tool like a vision board or some other format.”   “Looking back at your past experiences, looking at how you feel now, and looking into the future can be a great way to identify what you need more of and perhaps what you need less of as well.”   Connect with Anna: Anna’s Website Guiding Star Exercise Facebook Group Facebook Twitter Instagram
