Interview by James O'Toole Derry City continued their impressive form in the Irish Premier Division with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Waterford FC at the Regional Sports Centre on Friday evening. The solitary goal came from a bizarre own goal by Waterford goalkeeper Louis Jones, who spilled a routine header from Ben Doherty over his own line. The win moves Derry City back to the top of the league table, albeit on goal difference having played a game more than Shelbourne.  Derry City's tenacity proved to be the difference. Key moments from the match:  * Own goal seals the deal: In the 25th minute, Ben Doherty's header towards goal was spilled into the net by Waterford's goalkeeper, giving Derry City a crucial lead.  * Waterford's dominance: Despite conceding early, Waterford controlled much of the possession and created several chances, but Derry City's goalkeeper, Brian Maher, made some crucial saves to preserve his side's advantage.  * Resilient defense: Derry City's defense stood firm throughout the match, limiting Waterford's attacking threat and ensuring their clean sheet. This victory further solidifies Derry City's position as one of the top contenders for the Premier Division title. With the season reaching its climax, every point is vital, and Derry City's win tonight was a significant step towards their goal.

It's easy to oversimplify the conflict in Ukraine and America's response to it: Russians are bad. Sanctions are good. But would your perspective be different if you had traveled extensively in that part of the world? Or if you knew exactly how those sanctions might impact your ability to access the commodities you need? My globetrotting friend Joel Bowman is a libertarian writer, thinker and cryptocurrency enthusiast. He is also a repeat offender here on The Wiggin Sessions.  Joel is a regular contributor to Bonner Private Research, recently penning two thought-provoking editorials on the conflict in Ukraine, inflation and weaponized money, ‘Death in the Afternoon' and ‘Stairway to Hell.'  On this episode of The Wiggin Sessions, Joel joins me to describe his experience traveling in Moldova and Ukraine in 2018, sharing his informed take on the media's mass propaganda around the Russian invasion.   Joel discusses the real reason for the inflation of commodities in the US, explaining why we can't blame it all on Putin and how sanctions on Russia will impact the American economy moving forward. Listen in to understand how Argentines have adapted to an inflation rate of 50% and hear Joel's concern that central bankers might leverage negative sentiment toward Putin to ban crypto. Key Takeaways Joel's travels through the separatist region of Transnistria on the western border of Ukraine Joel's take on the mass propaganda around the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the media's oversimplified, black-and-white view of the conflict How being de-platformed has become a tool of 21st century warfare How sanctions imposed by Western corporations affect people in Belarus and Russia who have nothing to do with Putin or Lukashenko The real reason for the inflation of commodities (and why we can't blame it all on Putin) How government sanctions on Russia will impact the US economy How the people of Argentina have adapted to an inflation rate of 50% and the rising black market for alternatives to pesos in Argentina What makes a global currency war a real possibility and why investors are looking at Bitcoin as a safe alternative to fiat money Joel's fear that central bankers might leverage the negative sentiment toward Putin to ban crypto Why it's usually a good bet to invest in things that China bans Why Joel foresees short-term pain for crypto but is bullish on blockchain in the long term How the energy required for Bitcoin produces a fraction of the carbon footprint of Pornhub Connect with Joel Bowman Joel on Twitter Joel at Bonner Private Research ‘Death in the Afternoon' ‘Stairway to Hell' Morris, Alive by Joel Bowman Connect with Addison Wiggin Consilience Financial Be sure to follow The Wiggin Sessions on your socials. Kamber Cain grew up in El Dorado Springs, a small rural town in Missouri, but that has not kept her from having big city dreams about singing Country Music. No stranger to the stage, Kamber, born in 1990, has been quite the performer for the majority of her life. Influenced by artists such as Shania Twain, Faith Hill, Martina McBride Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift, she has always strived for a piece of the limelight. At the ripe old age of 3, her first stage appearance was with Brian Black. By age 4, Kamber started her singing career and hasn't looked back. She is known for her strong vocals and stage performance. Winning a local competition in Kansas at a Colgate Country Showdown at the age of 14 gave her the opportunity to open at a Country Round-Up Show for Jamie O'Neal, Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Billy Dean and headliner LONESTAR. This was only the beginning. She has gone on to qualify ten more years for the Colgate/Texaco Showdown State Competitions held in Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas and Oklahoma. She has held various titles over the years, including Route 66 Idol, Pittsburg Idol and most recently was named the 2014 Missouri State Fair Idol. She has also performed at the American Royal in Kansas City, MO, the American Idol Experience in Orlando, FL and at numerous other contests and venues. All this, plus continuing her education after high school by attending Belmont University and MSSU, obtaining a Marketing Business Degree. The true goal in life, however, is pursuing music!Kamber was blessed with the awesome opportunity to co-write and record 4 original songs with the mentoring of singer/songwriter/producer Rich McCready, (Co-Owner of McCready Recording Studio) and Nashville's own producer/songwriter, Brian Maher, (Hit Co-Writer for Justin Moore's "Small Town USA" and "Til My Last Day".) Tracks were perfected at Benchmark Sound Studio in Nashville and 4 amazing songs were born! Kamber has also started co-writing songs with Don Quinn and Elise Thornton out of Mississippi. These songs can be found on sites such as iTunes, CD Baby, Amazon, Reverbnation, Google Music, among others.Kamber was also blessed with doing her very first music video in the Summer of 2013 for her song "Ain't Nothin Like A Night Like This," with the help of Mark Alan Peters, Mike Stryker (Casting Life Films) and Darren Williams (Blue Conduit Films) from Nashville, TN. The video turned out amazing and really captivates who Kamber is as a person. Kamber has also finished up with the filming of another music video for her song called "Maybe I Just Might." It was filmed in Nashville, TN by the same video crew. The music video was released online on September 30, 2014. Be sure and check it out!Kamber has recently been featured on such websites as "Today's Best Country Music Videos", "Country Rise" and "Visit MO". She has also had one of her songs, "Ain't Nothin Like A Night Like This", placed in Season 2, Episode 7 of the Hit Show "House of Cards." In March 2014, Kamber was one of Reverbnation's Featured Artist's of the Week! She is also frequently played on some Missouri radio stations, along with some online radio stations, such as "Music Road Radio" and "The Iceman's Cavern".Kamber's plans for the future include writing and recording more songs while pursuing her lifelong dream of a Country Music Career.

John Butler and William Bergman are first time guests. Bergman, a former Fed economist who wrote the “Beige Book,” has raised serious questions about an inexplicable sudden increase in M-1 just prior to 9-11 that suggests someone big knew that devastating event may have been about to happen. We will talk to William about that and other issues like the failure of the rating issues during the housing bubble. Debt bubbles result from a monetary system without discipline. That's at least part of the reason John Butler says in, “The Golden Revolution” a return to a gold-backed monetary system is inevitable. This issue fits well with our discussion two weeks ago with Ron Paul and Lewis Lehrman who believe a return to gold is not only inevitable but highly desirable. A move to a gold standard should put the miners of gold among the growth industries of our time so we will talk to Brian Maher, Pres & CEO of Prodigy Gold, an emerging Canadian gold producer.

Dennis Marker and Glen A. Downs join us for the first time this week. Mr. Marker will talk about his book, “Fifteen Steps to Corporate Feudalism – How the Rich Convinced America's Middle Class to Eliminate Themselves.” America's middle class reached its zenith in the late 60's and early 70's but a redistribution of wealth to a very small few on Wall Street is leading to a destruction of the middle class. Who is to blame? Was it Ronald Reagan and his destruction of the unions, less regulation and a move to a more free market orientation? Or is there a more widespread pathology spread by both Democrats and Republicans? To add perspective to this discussion, Glen Downs, Chief of Staff for Rep. Walter B. Jones and Jeff Deist, Chief of Staff to Rep. Ron Paul stop by to discuss this issue. Providing practical ideas about how you may avoid serfdom will be David Cole, Pres. and CEO of Eurasian Minerals and Brian Maher, Pres & CEO of Prodigy Gold, two of J Taylor's favorite gold stocks.

A few weeks back, Paul van Eeden said his model for valuing gold tells him its real value is only $900/oz. now. We will ask Paul to explain his method for valuing gold. And as one who looks at gold in “real” terms rather than nominal terms, we will ask this very savvy and successful investor what he thinks that will mean for gold mining profits.
