But too many business owners and sales professionals feel stuck, second-guessing their strategies and scrambling to keep up. That's where I come in.When we launched this business, we thought we had time to figure things out. Then—before we had systems in place or a safety net—we landed in the ER with my daughter. That one moment turned into years of appointments, questions, and balancing business growth with life's uncertainties. I had to learn firsthand how to build something sustainable in the middle of chaos. And I quickly saw that I wasn't alone. So many businesses aren't struggling because they can't sell—they're struggling because they're drowning in complexity, following advice that doesn't fit, or trying to market in ways that don't actually support their sales. As a StoryBrand Certified Guide with 20 years in sales, a background in counseling, and a track record of helping businesses grow 30% year over year, I take a different approach—one that focuses on people, not just processes. Sales isn't about high-pressure tactics; it's about connection, trust, and doing the small things consistently that lead to big results. On this podcast, I'll share practical, no-fluff strategies that help your audience:✅ Attract the right leads (so they're not wasting time on the wrong ones)✅ Build trust and close deals without feeling pushy or awkward✅ Develop simple, repeatable habits that drive consistent growthAnd because I know firsthand that business owners don't have time for guesswork, I keep it simple, actionable, and—most importantly—something they can actually use right away.If your listeners want to sell more without constantly second-guessing their next move, I've got insights, humor, and real-world experience to help them make it happen.https://buildingmomentum.info/sales-coaching/----------------------------------When It Worked Podcasthttps://getoffthedamnphone.com/podcast

Anthony Butler is the founder of a successful marketing agency, but his wake-up call came when a CEO fired them for not getting an ROI on their spend. This led him to examine why some content performs and others don't. He realized that most of the time, it has to do with personality and connection. He delved into evolutionary psychology and discovered that humans have vestiges of urges left inside us, such as the need for connection and meaning behind the things we buy. As a marketer, understanding these primal emotions and connecting them to your audience makes it easier to create content that moves the needle and connects with your audience. This revelation led him to write "Primal Storytelling: Marketing for Humans," a book that highlights the importance of putting a face and heart into marketing. On this Predictable B2B Success episode, host Vinay Koshy and guest Anthony Butler delve into the power of primal storytelling in driving predictable business growth. They discuss the importance of emotional connection with audiences and the steps involved in implementing the Primal Storytelling system for effective content marketing. Key takeaways include understanding primal emotions, creating long-term themes, and adding value to the audience through content. They also touch on the importance of understanding your audience's demographic and psychographic data and using human stories to connect emotionally. Finally, they offer suggestions on how businesses can drive out bland corporate content and add stories for better long-term SEO results. Tune in to learn more about using primal storytelling to move your customers and drive growth. Are you stuck trying to grow your business and don't know where to start? Do you invest more in staff or spend more time on marketing? In this episode, Chris Cooper shows us how he grew his business from zero to $5 million in annual revenue in four short years – and in so doing, answers our questions about systemizing growth. The trick is in learning to appreciate that going from zero to $1 million is different than going from $1 million to $3 million and then from $3 million to $5 million. You need to be mindful of what stage your business is at in order for it to grow. Chris succinctly breaks it down into 3 key stages for us, based on his hard-earned experience of gym owner mentorship. Learning how to systemize your operations, shore up your personal weaknesses, and hire expensive staff to survive the ‘valley of death' are just some of the invaluable lessons Chris imparts. The Business is Good podcast is a must-listen for any business owner looking to systemize their operations. And the way Chris Cooper explains ‘process' so simply makes it a joy to engage with. “Nail your operations. Measure the results your clients are getting. And then constantly seek to improve those results.” – Chris Cooper In This Episode:- Zero to $1 million: systemize and optimize your product and your niche- $1 million–$3 million: expand your audience, systemize and optimize your marketing and your sales- $3 million–$5 million: hire your way up, systemize your incentives and your hiring, and automate wherever you can.- Why your business will fall back to the level where it is weakest- The value of a cohesive Facebook advertising campaign- Knowing which metrics are important when it comes to measuring your growthAnd more!Connect with Chris Cooper:- www.businessisgood.com

Bill Flynn is the author of Further, Faster: The Vital Few Steps that take the Guesswork out of Growthand we wanted to replay the conversation we had at the beginning of the Coronavirus outbreak. We had a really interesting conversation about building a business and what the characteristics are of somebody who builds a business that endures. Obviously, there's still a lot going on that we need to endure through. Even if you don't have a business yourself and you're listening as a leader who wants to have influence, there's a lot in this episode for you. In this conversation, Bill and I discussed his book, how to go from being sucked into those moments where you're constantly putting out fires to being able to relax and plan for the future, how leading as a human being creates trust, how your response as a leader right now can impact your future success, and more! In this episode, Rod shares so much about how life is more affected by our mindset rather than our technical knowledge. In this episode, one of the big topics that Rod discusses is analysis paralysis, which is what usually happens for people who tend to overthink in doing the next step. Rod shares how he went through depression after reaching a point in his life where he should be satisfied. He realized why shifting goalposts is important in one's personal life and career. This week, I am sitting down with a very special guest named Zoe Pink, who is a Happiness Coach. For as long as Zoe could remember she wished for happiness whenever she found a penny, saw the first star of the evening, or had a birthday candle to wish upon.It was the simple dream of a little girl whose childhood was profoundly bleak. Zoe suffered through poverty; physical, emotional and sexual abuse; bullying and depression. But even in that darkness there were moments when her heart would tell her that happiness WAS possible. Her journey has been anything BUT linear and she's a true example of how strength and purpose can come from our biggest challenges and struggles.I admire Zoe for so many reasons, but one that I'd like to call out is her willingness to be vulnerable, open and honest. One of her goals is to become more visible which is certainly not easy, but she rose to the task of this podcast with confidence and calmness. In this episode, we're pulling the curtains back on…What her childhood was like and how that shaped who she is todayThe journey towards becoming a Happiness CoachSome of the first steps she took to set up her websiteHow The Visionary Method Coaching supported her next level of growthAnd tips for getting more visible when it doesn't come naturally Don't forget to connect with Zoe! www.zoepink.comP.s.
