Since then, he has run 21 marathons and has been involved in the local Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA) as a group leader and has trained hundreds of people to run marathons. Through this experience, he dealt with many different types of injuries and discovered a variety of issues that people have when wearing running shoes. These experiences inspired an insatiable desire to bring a better running shoe to market.
