Episode 2233 – The Kid A.G. is back in the studio with Jay Bird, and things kick off with sore muscles and even sorer egos after their first batting practice of the year. But it doesn't take long before the soreness turns into something deeper—emotional, mental, and below the belt. Jay Bird drops a bomb: he's reconnecting with a long-lost work crush… who's married… and so is he. What follows is a no-holds-barred exploration of blurred lines, lusty flashbacks, the cost of stepping out, and the even bigger cost of not. As always, Kid brings the laughs, the raw truths, and zero filter. And just when you think it's two guys spiraling into poor decisions, boom—a surprise guest jumps in. Who is it? You'll have to tune in to guess. Also covered: • The science of not trash-talking your ex • Bar cleavage and the double standard of attention • Hot teachers, cold mugshots, and messed-up headlines • Scream-mask sex scandals (yep, again) • How much guilt weighs when you know better—but still wanna smash • Kid's utter lack of patience for Snowflakes This episode is a perfect storm of real talk, real temptation, and real-time advice from your favorite degenerate duo—and their little pal on the phone. This week, Erin sits down with Kristin to discuss the 2014 divorce between Canadian musician Robin Thicke and American actress Paula Patton, between the (blurred) lines of how the couple first met, their very public personas, and the dark truths that were revealed underneath.
Today, I'm talking with Kakul Srivastava, CEO of music creation platform Splice, which is one of the biggest marketplaces for loops and samples around. You can just go sign up, pay the money, and download these loops to try to make pop hits all day long. Take, for instance, Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso, which was composed almost entirely out of Splice samples. Now, if you're a Decoder listener, you know that some of my favorite conversations are with people building technology products for creatives, and that I am obsessed with how technology changes the music industry, because it feels like whatever happens to music happens to everything else five years later. So this one was really interesting, because Splice is all wrapped in all of that. Authority in higher education is a dicey issue. It has traditionally been assumed that faculty own the curriculum, protected by the principles of academic freedom that allow them the license to pursue controversial topics in teaching and research. This stands apart from the First Amendment right of free speech enjoyed by all American citizens. Recent actions by state boards of trustees and legislatures, most notably in Florida, have impacted the content and structure of general education curricula. Faculty have characterized this as an infringement of academic freedom. In this episode I'll examine how ownership of the curriculum has become a political hotbed that blurs the line between academic freedom and freedom of speech.
In this week's episode, we're diving headfirst into the tangled web of ethics, privacy, and professional boundaries—where the stakes are high, and one slip can unravel a whole treatment plan. We're exploring the delicate dance of maintaining informed consent and confidentiality when working with adults and juveniles who've committed a sexual offense. It's a world where secrets, trust, and legal landmines collide—and navigating it requires more precision than defusing a bomb with a blindfold on. Buckle up, because this one's equal parts nerve-wracking and enlightening.
Now, that we're paying, we just root for the schools.
Weddings aren't about perfect pictures—they're about the in-between moments, the blurry edges, the unscripted, beautiful chaos. And no one captures that better than Preston Utley, a photojournalist-turned-wedding photographer who sees beyond the surface. In this episode, Preston takes us deep into his philosophy of shooting from the gut, anticipating emotion, and embracing imperfection. We talk about his early days covering ski races and crime scenes at the Vail Daily, why he left news photography for weddings, and how his daily meditation practice makes him the calmest person in the room. He shares why one honest frame can say more than 1,000 perfect images, the myth of timeless wedding photography, and how the best moments aren't found—they're felt. If you've ever wondered what makes a truly impactful photograph, this episode will change the way you shoot forever.

Marketing and sales are no longer separate functions—they are intertwined in driving revenue and business growth. With modern buyers conducting extensive research before ever speaking to a salesperson, marketing now owns a larger share of the sales funnel, influencing purchasing decisions through content, data, and lead nurturing.Meanwhile, sales teams rely on marketing insights to personalize outreach and close deals efficiently. The key to success is aligning these two forces—sharing data, co-creating content, and leveraging technology—to create a seamless customer journey. In today's business landscape, marketing isn't just supporting sales—marketing is sales.

In this episode of the Bear Grease podcast, Clay Newcomb details the events at the turn of the 20th Century in the the "Black Patch" tobacco region of western Kentucky and northern Tennessee. The tension comes to a head as prices paid to farmers by the monopolistic Duke Trust plummet and "The Association" attempts to stand up against it. The Night Riders resort to beatings of non-Association farmers, raids on towns, and burning Duke Trust's tobacco barns. But the question remains: were they justified? Who were the good guys and who were the bad guys? Listen to interviews with former Kentucky Supreme Court Justice, Bill Cunningham, and recordings of the last living Night Rider, Joe Scott. It was an afternoon of chaos, controversy and drama - but Norwich City left victorious as their improvement under Johannes Hoff Thorup continues. A brilliant Borja Sainz hat-trick and some dogged defending ensured they became the first team to beat Derby County at Pride Park since February - even if it required some assistance from the officials. Host Connor Southwell is joined by Paddy Davitt and Sam Seaman to reflect on an afternoon to remember for the Canaries. ** Picture: Paul Chesterton/Focus Images Ltd *** You can also hear the Pink Un Podcast on Norwich's Community radio station, Future Radio 107.8FM. *** To get in touch with the podcast now and in future, send any comments and questions into the crew with an email to norfolksport@archant.co.uk or get in touch with us @pinkun on Twitter, where our direct messages are open.
