It's so clear in the teachings of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu that He brought it out through His own teacher, Śrīla Īśvara Purī, who instructed Him upon initiation into the process of chanting Hare Krishna: harer nāma harer nāma harer nāmaiva kevalam kalau nāsty eva nāsty eva nāsty eva gatir anyathā That you don't have to look anywhere else. It's all here. He said it three times: that it's in the holy name, it's in the holy name, holy name. By chanting, chanting, chanting, then you'll attain the perfection of your life, of yoga. Everything else comes from that. So, the process of chanting japa is extremely powerful. And the more that we're able to focus on the devotional chanting, the more our love for Kṛṣṇa manifests in our heart. You can feel it even in one session of chanting. If you actually invest your emotion—that "I'm very fallen, I need shelter. Kṛṣṇa, You're so kind"—the mood of gratitude is being manifested out through your voice, in chanting the holy names. Then, as I mentioned in the beginning, all stipulated energies are manifest. I'll just read the sentence one more time. We'll take some reflections. Prabhupāda writes: "By chanting the Lord's holy name, one can derive all these stipulated energies synchronized from all sources," so everything becomes perfectly manifest. And if we can focus our desire on advancing spiritually and then chant the holy name with that intention, then everything manifests in our life: all spiritual paraphernalia, all the mentorship, all the enthusiasm, whatever is necessary will be manifest in our lives. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #makejapagreatagain #mantrameditation #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

On today's show we are talking about a globally synchronized economic slowdown. Canada reported its employment numbers late last week and the Canadian unemployment rate rose to 6.6%, the highest level in 7 years. We reported last week that the We got the latest employment report for the US on Friday. The BLS reported numbers for the month of August. But at the same time that they reported August, they revised the numbers for June and July. The change in total nonfarm payroll employment for June was revised down by 61,000, from +179,000 to +118,000, and the change for July was revised down by 25,000, from +114,000 to +89,000. With these revisions, employment in June and July combined is 86,000 lower than previously reported. The bureau also reported that the unemployment rate fell to 4.2% in August from 4.3% in July. This reversal in the unemployment rate could affect the size of interest rate cut that is expected to be announced on September 18 when the Federal Open Market Committee meet on the 17th and 18th of this month. ----------- **Real Estate Espresso Podcast:** Spotify: [The Real Estate Espresso Podcast](https://open.spotify.com/show/3GvtwRmTq4r3es8cbw8jW0?si=c75ea506a6694ef1) iTunes: [The Real Estate Espresso Podcast](https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/the-real-estate-espresso-podcast/id1340482613) Website: [www.victorjm.com](http://www.victorjm.com) LinkedIn: [Victor Menasce](http://www.linkedin.com/in/vmenasce) YouTube: [The Real Estate Espresso Podcast](http://www.youtube.com/@victorjmenasce6734) Facebook: [www.facebook.com/realestateespresso](http://www.facebook.com/realestateespresso) Email: [podcast@victorjm.com](mailto:podcast@victorjm.com) **Y Street Capital:** Website: [www.ystreetcapital.com](http://www.ystreetcapital.com) Facebook: [www.facebook.com/YStreetCapital](https://www.facebook.com/YStreetCapital) Instagram: [@ystreetcapital](http://www.instagram.com/ystreetcapital)

The Potter Discussion: Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts and the Wizarding World Fandom
Send us a Text Message. In this episode, we discuss a possible wizarding Olympic events. Enjoy!Topics/Summary:· 2:20 Quidditch. This is a staple sport in the wizarding world, and any magical competition of this scale would be remiss without it. There are team sports in the muggle Olympics, so wizards should follow suit. The Quidditch World Cup is a separate organization that could supply some of the best players to make up several talented sides.· 9:48 Wizard chess. Chess is recognized as a sport, but not included in the Olympics. However, in the wizarding world, chess is far mor physical and dangerous which could drum up more interest and make it a worthwhile sport to include. · 15:38 Individual Quidditch trials. Beyond winning the game, there are individual skills that make up a good team. An event that would test only seekers or only beaters would give us a better idea of the talent of each individual player. The winning team likely has good chemistry in addition to good players. Viktor Krum was a better seeker than the Irish seeker, but they still lost.· 19:33 Dueling. This is the perfect sport to test someone's skill with a wand and how quickly they could think on their feet. A challenge would be to set the rules, because spells like the killing curse shouldn't be allowed. If they set the rules and have an approved list of spells that gain a certain amount of points, it could become something great.· 23:24 Archery. Muggles also compete in this realm, but it can be used for a wizard Olympics as well. A perfectly reasonable assumption for magical lore would be that muggles gained archery from centaurs, who could also stand as the judges for a magical archery competition.· 26:35 Synchronized spells. There is synchronized swimming, and spells could be the magical equivalent. How amazing would it be for ten or twelve wizards and witches to get together and cast spells into the sky, creating some absolutely stunning spectacles? It would be pretty awesome.Having anything you want to hear or say? Click here for a voice submission or here for text. In this episode of "5-Minute Chinese," I share a language learning technique called "overlay shadowing reading." Unlike traditional shadowing, this shadowing method involves syncing your voice perfectly with the original audio, starting and ending at the same time to achieve complete overlap. I discuss how this method has helped me improve my Japanese skills.Additionally, I introduce Maayot, a wonderful Chinese learning website. Maayot offers daily readings with pinyin, English translations, professional feedback on your recordings, and reading comprehension questions. It's a fantastic resource for enhancing your language practice. Check it out here: https://www.maayot.com/. Synchronized, scientific, ornamental, fancy, pretty: so many adjectives have been attached over the years to performative swimming, especially when done by women. Now known at the highest level as “artistic swimming,” it was for decades one of the few athletic activities women could pursue, albeit in uncomfortable, baggy, and not exactly aerodynamic attire. Despite—or perhaps because of—its popularity, synchronized swimming's status as a legitimate, elite sport would be contested for just as long—until 1984, in fact, when it finally debuted at the Los Angeles Olympics in all its sparkly glory. In her new book, Swimming Pretty, Scholar contributor Vicki Valosik dives into “the untold story of women in water,” from Victorian starlets like Lurline the Water Queen to Annette Kellerman, the godmother of synchronized swimming and the woman we can all thank for not having to wear petticoats in the water.
