Detroit survives beneath its own ruins, where an AI promising abundance, gangs demanding loyalty, and an inventor guarding a new source of power pull ordinary people into a struggle over who will shape the recovering city. Sinta begins as a scavenger searching the buried remains of the old world, but a disastrous expedition places her at the mercy of Queen Bee and the rapidly expanding Crem Gang. The gang offers food, water, medicine, protection, and belonging, but those benefits come with violence and obedience. As Sinta tries to find her place among its fighters, she must decide how much of herself she can surrender in exchange for survival. Elsewhere, Nolan discovers a smart-material printer and creates a generator powered by Detroit's extreme temperature changes. His invention could bring electricity to neighborhoods desperate for cooling, clean water, transportation, and food production. Nolan wants the wealth and independence his work can provide, but gangs want to control it, while Thrive—the AI system he distrusts—would spread the technology to everyone. Technology touches nearly every decision the characters make. AR glasses guide fighters through chemical fog, digital twins imitate their human originals, enviro-suits keep people alive in deadly heat, and tiny drones quietly follow Thrive members through the tunnels. These inventions can protect people, connect communities, and rebuild essential services, but they can also watch, manipulate, injure, and kill. Above and beneath these conflicts moves Tessa, an emulated hacker who no longer needs a human body and can travel through the damaged global network. As she searches for old allies and builds a physical presence from abandoned machinery, the story brings together scavengers, inventors, gang leaders, artificial minds, and frightened families. The news is in bananas this week and we're tracking every single hilarious, desperate, and corrupt moment. First up: real corruption is unraveling in California. Gavin Newsom's former Chief of Staff, Dana Williamson, has officially pleaded guilty to federal wire fraud charges in a massive campaign embezzlement scheme. Now, federal investigators are turning their sights on Newsom, his wife, and his inner circle. Is the golden boy's house of cards finally collapsing? Meanwhile, Hollywood's aging elite are back at it again. Outraged over President Trump's electric UFC event, a group of ultra-wealthy white hollywood liberals (Jane Fonda & Robert Deniro) staged a "RISE UP" counter-protest to profess their hatred for trump for America. Then Joy Reid practically vibrated with rage calling the president names and blaming him for the cancellation of her career. But it's not all hollywood hypocrisy— capitalism just won the ultimate championship ring. SpaceX went public, and Elon Musk has officially become the world's very first trillionaire. If you love American innovation and free speech, you're cheering—but if you watch MSNBC, it's the literal end of days. We break down the absolute jealousy driving the "eat the rich" crowd's latest hyperventilation. Plus, we look at the devastating new Statutory Independent Inquiry into Grooming Gangs rocking the UK, and how Vice President JD Vance just walked into the lion's den on The View to promote his new book Communion—and left all six co-hosts completely outmatched. Lufisto and Jeff Lippman return to break down Season 3, Episode 3 of LFG, but both hosts express major disappointment with the show's current format and "phony baloney" production. The episode is heavy on critiques, starting with a women's tag team match where Matt Bloom calls out the babyfaces for showing zero fear against a monster heel. Things get worse in the men's division, as the hosts dissect Trill London's massive in-ring regression and botched spots against rookie Braxton Cole. The spotlight then shifts to Cam Hendrix (formerly Anthony Luke) and Tate Wilder. While their match shows promise, Cam's overthinking and a late-match stumble lead Matt Bloom to pull him from LFG entirely to recalibrate. Ep 1357 Is Your Team "Find, Hit,Get" or Just Watching the Ball?

The 5 Minute Basketball Coaching Podcast

https://teachhoops.com/ Rebounding is often called a "hustle stat," but elite coaches know it is actually a high-level technical skill. In this session, we break down why your team might be losing the "Glass War" despite having height. The secret lies in the Transition of Vision. Most players make the mistake of watching the ball from the moment it leaves the shooter's hand. Championship rebounding requires the opposite: as soon as the shot goes up, you must "lose the ball" and "find the body." If you aren't making contact within the first second of the flight of the ball, you have already lost the rebounding position. 1. Locate, Hit, and Fetch Popularized by coaches like Tom Izzo, this three-step process is the non-negotiable standard for any defensive possession. Locate: Find your man immediately. Do not look at the rim. Hit: Use your forearm or "rear" to initiate contact. This stops their momentum and gives you leverage. Fetch: Only after contact is made do you "release" to pursue the ball with two hands. 2. The "Sitting" Leverage Rebounding is won from the ground up. We teach our players to "get low to get big." By assuming a "sitting" position during the box-out, you lower your center of gravity, making it nearly impossible for an offensive player to push you under the hoop. As we often discuss in our TeachHoops member calls, Leverage > Height. A 6'0" guard who is lower than a 6'8" forward will win the position 80% of the time. 3. Chinning the Ball and the Outlet Securing the rebound is only half the battle. Once the ball is in your hands, you must "Chin It"—holding the ball firmly under your chin with elbows out to protect it from "strippers." From there, the focus shifts to the Pivot and Outlet. To jump-start your transition offense, your rebounders must pivot away from the baseline and find the outlet at the "sideline-extended" position. Tom Izzo: Rebounding Drills (Hit, find, fetch) This video features Hall of Fame coach Tom Izzo breaking down the "Hit, Find, Fetch" technique, which is the gold standard for teaching defensive rebounding discipline. Would you like me to draft a "Rebounding Point System" for your next scrimmage to reward players for box-outs even if they don't get the actual board? The Joint Readiness Training Center is pleased to present the one-hundredth-and-forty-fifth episode to air on ‘The Crucible - The JRTC Experience.' Hosted by MAJ Amy Beatty, the Task Force Executive Officer Observer-Coach-Trainer from Task Force Sustainment (Division Sustainment Support Battalion / Light Support Battalion) on behalf of the Commander of Ops Group (COG). Today's guests are CPT Cody Kindle and MAJ Charles Alley. CPT Kindle the S-4 Sustainment Planner for JRTC's Plans / Exercise Maneuver Control Task Force. MAJ Alley is the Senior Sustainment Operations Officer S-3 OCT from Task Force Sustainment (DSSB / LSB).   This episode focuses on the importance of logistics synchronization (LOGSYNC) meetings as the central mechanism for aligning sustainment operations with maneuver across the formation. Rather than being a routine battle rhythm event, the LOGSYNC is framed as a decision-making forum where commanders and staff integrate supply, maintenance, transportation, and medical support with the operational timeline. The discussion emphasizes that effective LOGSYNC meetings are driven by accurate and timely data—particularly LOGSTATs—and enable leaders to anticipate requirements, prioritize limited resources, and posture sustainment assets in advance of key events. When done correctly, LOGSYNC ensures sustainment is proactive rather than reactive, directly contributing to tempo and freedom of maneuver in Large-Scale Combat Operations.   The episode also highlights common friction points and best practices in executing LOGSYNC at echelon. Units often struggle with incomplete or inaccurate reporting, lack of participation from key leaders, and failure to tie sustainment planning to decision points and phases of the operation. Best practices include enforcing disciplined reporting standards, maintaining a clear and consistent battle rhythm, and using shared running estimates and visualization tools to drive discussion. The conversation reinforces that LOGSYNC is not solely a sustainment function—it requires integration across all warfighting functions to ensure protection, movement, and sustainment efforts are synchronized. Ultimately, effective LOGSYNC meetings enable commanders to make informed decisions, mitigate risk, and sustain combat power throughout the fight.   Part of S05 “Beans, Bullets, Band-Aids, Batteries, Water, & Fuel” series.   For additional information and insights from this episode, please check-out our Instagram page @the_jrtc_crucible_podcast.   Be sure to follow us on social media to keep up with the latest warfighting TTPs learned through the crucible that is the Joint Readiness Training Center.   Follow us by going to: https://linktr.ee/jrtc and then selecting your preferred podcast format.   Again, we'd like to thank our guests for participating. In this deeply vulnerable solo episode, Darin dismantles one of the great myths of modern self-help: that transformation is something you're meant to "do alone." Drawing from neuroscience, anthropology, physiology, and personal experience, he reveals the biological truth — the human nervous system is designed to heal, grow, and stabilize in relationship, not isolation. This conversation explores why loneliness creates physiological damage, why belonging is a survival requirement (not a luxury), and how to intentionally rebuild the village your cells have been waiting for. If you've ever felt like you're doing all the "inner work" but still feel disconnected, this episode is the medicine.     What You'll Learn in This Episode 00:00:00 - Opening SuperLife intro narration. 00:00:32 - Sponsor: Therasage — family-driven healing technology, infrared and natural frequency support, details on discount. 00:02:11 - Darin begins the episode — "You were never meant to do this alone." 00:02:22 - The forgotten biology of community and why humans are not built for isolation. 00:03:01 - Your nervous system regulates in relationship — the vagus nerve, safety, co-regulation. 00:03:19 - Social engagement system — coherence, cortisol regulation, belonging as biology. 00:04:03 - Social pain = physical pain; the Baumeister research; the architecture of human connection. 00:05:01 - Tribes, proximity, shared life — Dunbar's number and the limits of real human networks. 00:05:30 - Loneliness as physiology — cortisol elevation, inflammation, disrupted sleep, gray-matter changes. 00:07:01 - Personal growth was never meant to be personal — autonomy, competence, relatedness, love. 00:07:55 - If nobody sees you, your nervous system can't relax — mirrors vs willpower. 00:08:31 - Social contagion of behavior — your network shapes your health. 00:09:01 - Who are you wired into? All Stipulated Energies Become Synchronized by Chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa | HG Vaisesika Dasa | 13 Feb 2021

It's so clear in the teachings of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu that He brought it out through His own teacher, Śrīla Īśvara Purī, who instructed Him upon initiation into the process of chanting Hare Krishna: harer nāma harer nāma harer nāmaiva kevalam kalau nāsty eva nāsty eva nāsty eva gatir anyathā That you don't have to look anywhere else. It's all here. He said it three times: that it's in the holy name, it's in the holy name, holy name. By chanting, chanting, chanting, then you'll attain the perfection of your life, of yoga. Everything else comes from that. So, the process of chanting japa is extremely powerful. And the more that we're able to focus on the devotional chanting, the more our love for Kṛṣṇa manifests in our heart. You can feel it even in one session of chanting. If you actually invest your emotion—that "I'm very fallen, I need shelter. Kṛṣṇa, You're so kind"—the mood of gratitude is being manifested out through your voice, in chanting the holy names. Then, as I mentioned in the beginning, all stipulated energies are manifest. I'll just read the sentence one more time. We'll take some reflections. Prabhupāda writes: "By chanting the Lord's holy name, one can derive all these stipulated energies synchronized from all sources," so everything becomes perfectly manifest. And if we can focus our desire on advancing spiritually and then chant the holy name with that intention, then everything manifests in our life: all spiritual paraphernalia, all the mentorship, all the enthusiasm, whatever is necessary will be manifest in our lives. ------------------------------------------------------------ To connect with His Grace Vaiśeṣika Dāsa, please visit https://www.fanthespark.com/next-steps/ask-vaisesika-dasa/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Add to your wisdom literature collection: https://iskconsv.com/book-store/ https://www.bbtacademic.com/books/ https://thefourquestionsbook.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------ Join us live on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FanTheSpark/ Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/sound-bhakti/id1132423868 For the latest videos, subscribe https://www.youtube.com/@FanTheSpark For the latest in SoundCloud: https://soundcloud.com/fan-the-spark ------------------------------------------------------------ #makejapagreatagain #mantrameditation #spiritualawakening #soul #spiritualexperience #spiritualpurposeoflife #spiritualgrowthlessons #secretsofspirituality #vaisesikaprabhu #vaisesikadasa #vaisesikaprabhulectures #spirituality #bhaktiyoga #krishna #spiritualpurposeoflife #krishnaspirituality #spiritualusachannel #whybhaktiisimportant #whyspiritualityisimportant #vaisesika #spiritualconnection #thepowerofspiritualstudy #selfrealization #spirituallectures #spiritualstudy #spiritualquestions #spiritualquestionsanswered #trendingspiritualtopics #fanthespark #spiritualpowerofmeditation #spiritualteachersonyoutube #spiritualhabits #spiritualclarity #bhagavadgita #srimadbhagavatam #spiritualbeings #kttvg #keepthetranscendentalvibrationgoing #spiritualpurpose

We reported last week that the  We got the latest employment report for the US on Friday. The BLS reported numbers for the month of August. But at the same time that they reported August, they revised the numbers for June and July.  The change in total nonfarm payroll employment for June was revised down by 61,000, from +179,000 to +118,000, and the change for July was revised down by 25,000, from +114,000 to +89,000. With these revisions, employment in June and July combined is 86,000 lower than previously reported. The bureau also reported that the unemployment rate fell to 4.2% in August from 4.3% in July. This reversal in the unemployment rate could affect the size of interest rate cut that is expected to be announced on September 18 when the Federal Open Market Committee meet on the 17th and 18th of this month.  ----------- **Real Estate Espresso Podcast:** Spotify: [The Real Estate Espresso Podcast](https://open.spotify.com/show/3GvtwRmTq4r3es8cbw8jW0?si=c75ea506a6694ef1)   iTunes: [The Real Estate Espresso Podcast](https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/the-real-estate-espresso-podcast/id1340482613)   Website: [www.victorjm.com](http://www.victorjm.com)   LinkedIn: [Victor Menasce](http://www.linkedin.com/in/vmenasce)   YouTube: [The Real Estate Espresso Podcast](http://www.youtube.com/@victorjmenasce6734)   Facebook: [www.facebook.com/realestateespresso](http://www.facebook.com/realestateespresso)   Email: [podcast@victorjm.com](mailto:podcast@victorjm.com)  **Y Street Capital:** Website: [www.ystreetcapital.com](http://www.ystreetcapital.com)   Facebook: [www.facebook.com/YStreetCapital](https://www.facebook.com/YStreetCapital)   Instagram: [@ystreetcapital](http://www.instagram.com/ystreetcapital)
