In this powerful episode, author and cultural commentator Adam B. Coleman shares his deeply personal journey from childhood pain to redemptive purpose. Adam opens up about breaking generational cycles and transforming from a young man struggling with fatherlessness to being the father his son deserves. In his new book, "The Children We Left Behind: How Western Culture Rationalizes Family Separation & Ignores the Pain of Child Neglect", Adam unflinchingly shares his own experiences of abandonment and fatherlessness to shed light on a broader cultural crisis. He boldly challenges the notion that family breakdown is a race-specific issue, arguing instead that it's a moral failure impacting every corner of Western society—a consequence of adults who choose self-interest over sacrifice for their children. Adam is the founder of Wrong Speak Publishing, a prolific writer, and the author of Black Victim to Black Victor. His work regularly appears in outlets such as the New York Post, UnHerd, Newsweek, Daily Mail, and Human Events. He's also a contributor to Dad Saves America, where he writes candidly about parenting from a father's perspective. With a background in tech, Adam began speaking out in 2020 on issues ranging from family breakdown and DEI to wokeness and free speech.Find more from Adam at: https://substack.com/@adambcoleman and his book at https://www.amazon.com/Children-Left-Behind-Rationalizes-Separation/dp/B0DSJZWMDL

Adam B. Coleman is the author of “Black Victim to Black Victor” and founder of Wrong Speak Publishing.Black Victim To Black Victor: Identifying the Ideologies, Behavioral Patterns and Cultural Norms that Encourage a Victimhood Complex With the success of the first edition of this book, came an opportunity to polish this "underdog" book with more editorial clarity that helps to make the original book shine through. Adam B. Coleman, New York Post contributor, and Human Events columnist, believes that Black Americans are constantly lied to about the source of their community's issues to profit off their pain and to make sure that they never leave the mindset of the victim. Adam believes in order to move forward in American society, black people must be critical of all sectors of Black culture and the people who profit off the mainstream Black victim messaging. Coleman believes that with honesty, love, ownership, and responsibility, black Americans can leave behind the victim mentality for the truly empowering victor mindset. Once “victor-hood” is embraced, we can achieve a more peaceful union with the rest of American society and stop accepting conflict within the black community as normality. Adam is a columnist for Human Events, a frequent contributor for The New York Post, and has articles published in Newsweek, The Federalist, The Epoch Times, Daily Mail, The Post Millennial, Unherd, ScoonTV, Free Black Thought, Life News HQ & Human Defense Initiative. Joe Biden believes that white supremacy is the greatest threat to America today, and anyone who didn't vote for him “ain't black”. But Adam Coleman, founder of Wrong Speak Publishing and author of the book Black Victim to Black Victor, sees it differently. Speaking with Matt Kibbe at FreedomFest in Memphis, Tennessee, he argues that it's not racism that is holding back the black community, but a lack of strong families. We do a disservice to people when we tell them that they are victims and not in control of their own destinies, creating a defeatist attitude that perpetuates the cycle of poverty and dependence.

These are truths tackled from the weekend. The mass shooting in Texas perpetrated by a man named Garcia has media suggesting he carried out the murders because of his white supremacist views. An NHL announcer makes a Lizzo joke during a broadcast that has some calling the black man a racist. Not kidding. Adam Coleman - author of "Black Victim to Black Victor" authored a piece in Newsweek that shreds the idea the subway death of homeless man Jordan Neely was racially motivated. And Mark Chenoweth of the New Civil Liberties Alliance discusses the legal fallout of virus-era mandates set to expire as well as the Biden threat to invoke the 14th Amendment to raise the debt ceiling without Congress.-For more info visit the official website: https://chrisstigall.comInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/chrisstigallshow/Twitter: https://twitter.com/ChrisStigallFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/chris.stigall/Listen on Spotify: https://tinyurl.com/StigallPodListen on Apple Podcasts: https://bit.ly/StigallShow See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Dom Giordano, WPHT host and former teacher, has dedicated much of his daily show toward parents who are taking it into their own hands to push back against school boards that have a negative impact on their children. This has culminated in a weekly podcast on education, Readin', Writin', and Reason, which has allowed wonderful relationships to develop between Giordano, educators, and parents throughout the country who are speaking out against overbearing school boards. First, Dom welcomes Jennifer Sey, former Levi's executive and author of the upcoming Levi's Unbuttoned: The Woke Mob Took My Job but Gave Me My Voice, onto the podcast. First, Dom asks Sey about her losing her Levi's job because of her comments made about the hypocritical nature of Coronavirus edicts, specifically asking about the new push by the Left to provide ‘amnesty' to those on the opposite end of Sey who got things so wrong. Ley, who's launched a Substack since leaving Levi's, explains the benefits of her job loss, telling how she now can freely speak on issues that have become politicized.  Then, Dom welcomes New York Post columnist Adam Coleman, author of Black Victim to Black Victor and founder of Wrong Speak Publishing, onto the podcast to discuss his column he penned this weekend for the Post in which he writes how the media lied to him about Conservatives. Coleman, an African-American man, decided to do a deeper dive into politics following the George Floyd protests and found that much of the rhetoric that conservatives are ‘racist' is largely fabricated by a Left-leaning media for political purposes. Coleman explains his point, discussing the policies propagated by Democrats that actually hurt communities of color, focusing largely on school choice and the prioritization of school unions over the needs of parents necessitating help.

Could the two be related? Next, Juliet asks some basic questions about the health of the U.S. economy, questioning the narrative that everything is fine and challenging the Biden administration's attempt to redefine "recession." The group then moves to the issue of immigration, noting that New York (a sanctuary city) is now asking for federal help in dealing with an immigration crisis partly of its own making. After a general discussion about the shrinking Overton window framing the immigration debate, they discuss the disturbingly impactful role that rhetoric, oratory, and social manipulation play in obtaining and wielding political power in the modern era. We've all heard the term "critical race theory" by now. It's a hot topic in schools, politics, and churches. So what is it? Is it really that important? And what should our response to this theory be? These are the questions I explore with my guest, Bridget Depew, as we discuss why this topic should be a big deal to christians. We go over why this theory is harmful, particularly to children, what parents can do about the direction that public schools are going, and how christians can have a voice against a narrative that is designed to silence opposition. Welcome to Saturday Morning Coffee for Saturday, July 31, 2021:On this episode of Saturday Morning Coffee, the Reese Boyd Radio Hour, Reese Boyd and Producer Glenn Dye discuss the return of mask mandates, and the looming threat of vaccine mandates, and the various reasons why government mandates never die!  We also discuss the relatively anemic Olympics and how it seems to be a rather "so-so" event that for whatever reason, many seem to be overlooking.  Reese and Glen share some of their favorite Olympic memories, from some of the more memorable Olympic teams in our past.We talk a lot on this show about mask mandates, vaccine mandates, and how a government bureaucracy that obtains power never seems to be able to let it go (at least not permanently).  We discuss Texas Gov. Abbott's Order prohibiting vaccine or mask mandates in Texas.  In other news, we discuss the President's rather astonishing claim this week that he was once an 18-Wheel Trucker.  No one seems to know this, except for the POTUS.  For its part, the White House has said that Biden "once rode in an 18-Wheeler."  Sen. Josh Kimbrell (R-Spartanburg County) joins us on the program to discuss his proposal to dramatically scale back the personal income tax in South Carolina, and to eliminate the corporate income tax.  We also discuss other developments in Columbia that are (or should be) ver important to conservatives, including the "Save Women's Sports Act" which seek to prevent biological males, who self-identify as females, from competing in women's sports at the high school level. Also in the second hour, musical artist Savannah Craven joins us in the studio to discuss her upcoming single, "Black Victor".  She also discusses her role in the forthcoming production of "Oklahoma!" which will be playing as an outdoor drama beginning August 19 at the Mount Rouge Farm in Roseland, VA.  Reese closes out this episode of Saturday Morning Coffee with some parting wisdom from Mark Stein. Thanks for listening to Saturday Morning Coffee!  We'll see you next week!Proverbs 3:5-6

This is an interview with Adam Coleman, the author of the book "Black Victim to Black Victor: Identifying the ideologies, behavioral patterns and cultural norms that encourage a victimhood complex" This is a relevant topic during our cultural moment, because it offers a counter-narrative to the majority of what we hear in popular culture and the media where black pain can be a commodity, and where victimhood can sound like the only option. We discuss some of the major themes from his books title, as well as the personal realities from Adam's life and experiences that helped shape some of its chapters. If you are looking for an idea of what resilience in the face of adversity or hardship can look like, give Adam a listen here, and read his book after.  *We did have a couple of technical issues in an audio delay between Adam and myself which caused some pauses between questions* Follow him and find his book below. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow Adam Coleman: - Twitter: https://twitter.com/wrong_speak - Book: https://www.amazon.com/Black-Victim-Victor-Identifying-ideologies/dp/B0915JT4XD/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3M6NXITCOU16Z&dchild=1&keywords=black+victim+to+black+victor&qid=1622228905&sprefix=black+victim+to+black+vi%2Caps%2C230&sr=8-1 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Support Wisdom Collective: - https://www.patreon.com/WisdomCollect... Several weeks ago I posted an interview with Adam Coleman, author of the book From Black Victim to Black Victor, where Coleman outlines the ways in which the black community has been conditioned to believe they're oppressed and how black women in particular have fallen for feminism to the detriment of their families and even themselves. Shortly thereafter, I received an email from India Lee Starks who loved the interview and who emphasized this question that came up in my interview with Coleman: “Why are black women forgiven for failing to select better men?” Here's what India, who is black, had to say: "Why are black women NEVER accountable for ANYTHING?! That can go for women in general, also. But when I look at my counterparts these days, the “modern black woman,” my heart fills with grief. They are far from the heroines of the “Greatest Generation” and generations before. They are entitled, arrogant, and selfish. It's painful to witness. They champion single motherhood like it's an achievement and have become oppressive and demoralizing in their attitude and treatment towards black men! It's nauseating." I subsequently invited India on to discuss how feminism has affected the black community. India Lee Starks, 34, was born and raised in Williamsburg, VA and currently lives in the DC area. She worked for Teach for America in 2011 and the DC Corps from 2011-2013. She then graduated from law school and afterward helped open a newly opened charter school. In 2018, she worked for a year in the White House and now works for the Department of Education, Office of Civil Rights. India is newly married with two teenage stepsons. IN THIS EPISODE: 9:50 How women in the black community shifted in their response to men 12:30 India talks about her family history and why she didn't take to feminist ideology 16:25 Parenting is the last, best hope to counteract what your kids are absorbing 17:50 What women choose to wear is how they communicate 21:15 Black families are leading the charge with single parent homes at 64% 23:50 How feminism affected the black community and the breakdown of the family 26:55 Father absence 32:15 Women are tired of being "strong" 35:00 Black women have become audacious and arrogant when it comes to men 36:00 Feminism has shifted women's identities to a focus on their careers and jobs and away from being mothers 39:30 Feminists want a matriarchy 39:50 India talks about her work in the White House with the Trump Administration and the environment with her male co-workers 47:30 Feminism has tapped into women's emotional center 50:10 Women are promoting their own interests instead of doing what is right by our communities and families --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

Adam is the author of the book “Black Victim to Black Victor: Identifying the ideologies, behavioral patterns and cultural norms that encourage a victimhood complex.” Little does Adam know, I secretly aspire to put him back in his rightful place, the Democratic Plantation, in this episode of the Unframe of Mind show.
