The Blue Angels did not fly at Seafair on Saturday. This Podcast clearly explains why that happened. They did perform their air show on Seafair Sunday.
No guest. Just Michael, a stack of conversation cards, and whatever the internet served up this week. Opening cards: simple is not the same as easy, and failures are tuition payments, not a definition. A flight instructor in Argentina jumps to his death mid-lesson. His student lands the plane alone. The viral robot gun turret video. Reaction time, technique, and a full review of the dismount. Big announcement: a full F-18 simulator is coming to the coffee shop. Aircraft carrier landing competition. $25 per entry. If you have ever flown an F-18, you are not invited. The Blue Angels' 40-foot pass over Pensacola Beach, and why the investigation should be allowed to happen. The Titan submersible documentaries. Carbon fiber, "seasoning," and 20 milliseconds. Getting fooled by AI images and satire headlines. A public meltdown caught on camera, and what a mental health crisis looks like from the outside. Another Sacrilegious Sunday goes completely off the rails as Chino, Homeboy, and a severely congested Hate Jones deliver nearly three hours of unfiltered comedy, arguments, military commentary, cultural debates, wedding stories, and extremely questionable science. The crew starts by redesigning marriage as a renewable military contract before diving into Japan's Chicano subculture and debating the difference between cultural appreciation, appropriation, and straight-up Columbus-ing somebody else's culture. Somehow, this leads to *The Last Samurai*, Tom Cruise's intense handshake, the Manila–Acapulco galleon trade, and the historical connection between Mexico and the Philippines.Hate Jones then recaps his wedding, the heroic quantity of homemade alcohol he prepared, the invention of the word “squoze,” and the post-wedding adventure that turned one drink into an all-night discussion about sexuality, attraction, identity, trans dating, threesomes, and whether heterosexuality is actually the rarest kink of them all.The second half gets military-heavy as the crew reacts to a child-abuse confrontation, a dangerously low Blue Angels beach flyover, proposed testosterone screenings, new Army waist-to-height standards, VA dependent-verification disasters, and the Tuskegee Airmen's long-erased victory in America's original Top Gun competition. Finally, the Deadpool returns with aerial accidents, celebrity deaths, irresponsible relationship advice, and an emergency lesson explaining why a magnitude-four earthquake is absolutely not half as powerful as a magnitude eight. This episode contains explicit language, sexual discussions, dark humor, offensive jokes, military stories, and opinions nobody should mistake for professional advice.Like the episode, subscribe to the channel, and tell us in the comments: Is Japan's Chicano culture appreciation, appropriation, or both?0:00 Intro, Illness and Renewable Marriage Contracts11:08 Japanese Chicanos: Appreciation vs. Appropriation24:24 The Last Samurai and Tom Cruise27:26 Mexico, the Philippines and the Galleon Trade29:57 Hate Jones' Wedding and the Invention of “Squoze”51:00 The Post-Wedding Tacos and Bar Adventure1:00:26 Attraction, Sexuality and What “Counts” as Gay1:25:27 Complete Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome1:28:53 Chosen Names and the Chili's Firing Debate1:36:10 Is This Child Abuse?1:41:13 Blue Angels Beach Flyover and Military Safety1:51:23 Testosterone Tests and New Army Body Standards2:13:52 VA Dependent Verification Warning2:20:17 The Tuskegee Airmen's Erased Top Gun Victory2:23:15 Deadpool: Aerial Accidents and Celebrity Deaths2:41:25 Relationship Advice and Earthquake Mathematics#ChinoAndHomeboy #ComedyPodcast #LatinoPodcast #FilipinoPodcast #Looksmaxing #OnlyFans #PodcastClips #DarkComedy #InternetCulture #18PlusComedy #Drake #BadBunny #TaylorSwift #FilipinoCulture #SpiderFighting

Send us Fan MailAaron and Peaches sit down to talk Blue Angels flyovers, testosterone testing, military medicine, height-to-waist standards, and why the military has to get serious about health before people break. The episode starts with the Blue Angels beach flyover debate and whether something can be technically questionable while still being completely awesome. Then the guys get into the bigger conversation around the Department of War pushing testosterone checks for men over 30, why the military medical system has resisted basic hormone testing for years, and how operator syndrome, traumatic brain injuries, cortisol dysfunction, vitamin D deficiency, and low free testosterone can wreck performance and mental health.Aaron talks through his own fight to get blood work done, what the military missed, and why private-sector care finally helped him understand the difference between total testosterone and free testosterone. The conversation also hits height-to-waist standards, fat bodies in uniform, why some people will get flagged unfairly, and why most people need to stop making excuses. The bottom line: fitness is not just about looking good in uniform. It affects mental health, cognitive performance, readiness, durability, and who you become after the military.Check out Tasty Gains:TastyGains.comRegister for Operator Training Summit:OperatorTrainingSummit.comChapters:00:00 - Intro, Tasty Gains, and Operator Training Summit03:02 - Blue Angels Flyover Controversy03:39 - Unsafe vs. Inappropriate05:00 - Why Professionals Change the Risk Equation06:59 - Was the Flyover Necessary?08:22 - Pensacola, Nellis, and Airshow Culture09:20 - Testosterone Testing in the Military10:37 - What the Headlines Are Missing11:14 - Operator Syndrome and Low Testosterone12:11 - Fighting the Military Medical System12:55 - Vitamin D Deficiency in the Military14:34 - The Problem With “Normal” Testosterone Ranges16:00 - Trying to Raise Testosterone Naturally17:14 - Total Testosterone vs. Free Testosterone18:08 - TBI, Free Test, and Feeling Broken18:57 - Whoop Blood Work and Better Data19:19 - Breaking Down Institutional Resistance20:12 - Why This Could Lead to Better Screening21:02 - How the Referral System Fails People22:08 - Why Baseline Testing Matters22:34 - Trauma Medicine vs. Clinical Medicine23:55 - Military Medicine, COVID, and Bad Advice26:35 - Readiness Pressure and Medical Liability27:30 - SSRIs, Mental Health, and Missed Questions29:26 - The Military Health System Problem30:33 - Women, Hormones, and HRT30:42 - What to Ask Before Accepting Medication31:29 - Akron Bar Fight Story34:46 - Air Force Height-to-Waist Ratio35:11 - Body Composition Standards Come Back Around36:52 - Old BMI Standards and Fat Boy Programs37:19 - Height and Weight Charts39:41 - Peaches Tests the Calculator41:16 - When the Standard Misses Body Type42:40 - Trent's Monster Habit43:29 - Strategic Energy Drinks43:56 - Ten-Year-Old Crushes the Army PT Test45:30 - Kids, Discipline, and Internet Boundaries47:34 - Coaching Kids Through Hard Things48:25 - Wrestling Coach Motivation50:38 - Height-to-Waist and Job Performance51:40 - Human Performance and Mental Health52:34 - Obesity, COVID, and Comorbidities53:54 - Water, Sunlight, Nutrition, and Fitness55:26 - What People Cut First When Life Gets Busy55:42 - Sleep as a Performance Enhancer56:43 - Why Fitness Improves Mental Health58:26 - Confidence, Attraction, and Looking Better59:45 - Extrinsic Motivation Still Counts01:01:12 - Final Thoughts and Members-Only PreviewSupport the showJoin this channel to get access to perks: HEREBuzzsprout Subscription page: HERERegister for our Operator Training Summit: OperatorTrainingSummit.comFind an Air Force Recruiter: AirForce.comCollabs:Ones Ready - OnesReady.com 18A Fitness - Promo Code: ONESREADY ATACLete - Follow the URL (no promo code): ATACLeteDanger Close Apparel - Promo Code: ONESREADYDFND Apparel...
Chuck Todd opens with a story that seems small and turns out to be a perfect miniature of everything wrong with this Pentagon: a Blue Angels flyover at Pensacola Beach came in too low, the pilot who made the honest mistake felt terrible about it — and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, without bothering to establish a single fact about what happened, seized the moment to gloat and own the libs. Chuck calls Hegseth an absolute clown and a fake soldier, argues the incident is a window into a Pentagon where the boss cares more about winning an online argument than about the safety of the people he commands, and where the entire "military testosterone" discourse — Hegseth's fixation on creating "supertrooper" fighting men is both dumb and genuinely dangerous. His verdict: a great American military culture is being actively degraded. He extends the same argument to ICE, where the violence has been entirely predictable — the officer involved in the latest shooting had enormous red flags in his background, and the agency appears to have no meaningful vetting process at all. He also explains why, contrary to much of the commentary, he wasn't alarmed by Trump's primetime election-denial address: it was a nothingburger. Trump has no evidence, which is why he keeps turning to cranks — his endorsement of Mike Lindell tells you everything — and there's no policy response attached to his own foreign-interference allegations, since China has faced no sanction whatsoever for what Trump claims it did. He argues American elections are extraordinarily hard to overturn precisely because the system is decentralized, that Trump is too lazy to become a Putin or a Mao… A more disciplined president would frighten Chuck far more. Chuck sees a forever war taking shape in Iran: the strategy amounts to throwing kinetic weight at the problem and hoping the regime collapses, while Iran fights the asymmetric war it always planned, targeting Gulf states and now civilian survival infrastructure — hitting desalination plants could trigger a crisis lasting years — and nobody in Washington actually knows how to win. He closes with a genuinely important profile of Undersecretary Elbridge Colby, the intellectual architect of the new right's foreign policy and a favorite of JD Vance, whose vision of American retreat from its allies would effectively be the policy of a President Vance: Colby has trashed Mark Carney's "middle power" strategy and declared that no country is entitled to the American defense industry — which, notes, misses that buying military hardware is a 30-year bet on trusting an ally, and middle powers who conclude they can be coerced by Washington will simply take their money somewhere else. Quick hits on a messy Wisconsin governor's race (Tony Evers built no infrastructure and left no obvious heir in one of the country's most misunderstood swing states) and Tuesday's Arizona primary round things out. Finally, Chuck hops into the ToddCast Time Machine to draw parallels between the arguments in modern American politics to the argument between Richard Nixon and Nikita Khrushchev in the infamous “kitchen debate” and answers listeners’ questions in the “Ask Chuck” segment. Quick hits on a messy Wisconsin governor's race (Tony Evers built no infrastructure and left no obvious heir in one of the country's most misunderstood swing states) and Tuesday's Arizona primary round things out. Then, bestselling novelist Daniel Silva — creator of the Gabriel Allon series — joins the Chuck Toddcast for a conversation that starts with the craft of spy fiction and quickly becomes something closer to a threat assessment. Silva's newest plot turns on drones, and he's blunt that this isn't speculative: he believes it's a matter of time before a drone carries out an assassination or a mass-casualty attack. He talks about the strange responsibility of writing a fictional event that could plausibly happen next month, why he deliberately withholds visual detail so readers build the scene themselves, and what he learned reporting out how modern kidnappings and ransom negotiations actually work. The darker current running underneath is his read on American intelligence: the FBI is no longer the same place, the U.S. is jettisoning allies and hollowing out its agencies, and Silva poses the question a novelist is uniquely positioned to ask — if you're the GRU right now, where would you most want an asset placed? He notes that the best assets often don't know they're assets, that NATO held a crisis meeting about Trump, and that this is precisely the moment to be putting the screws to a vulnerable Putin, since Ukraine has victory in sight and isn't desperate for any deal. The conversation turns personal when Chuck asks how Silva handles Israel's collapsing global reputation in a series built around an Israeli intelligence officer. Silva says the shift was entirely foreseeable, that he has no interest in writing about Gaza, and that what saddens him most is the "fortress Israel" mindset — a country founded on European-style socialist ideals now convinced it can go it alone, siloed from the world, while antisemitism surges globally in a way he warns only ever needs the right set of circumstances to reignite. He and Chuck range across the forces reshaping the century: giant corporations approaching the power of nation-states, a new generation of the ultra-wealthy who simply don't believe in philanthropy, AI's capacity to wipe out the knowledge economy, and Silva's conviction that the next great political crisis may be a climate-driven natural disaster — noting that the last major El Niño produced famines that killed millions, that today's migration patterns are already climate-driven, and that people are dying right now as a direct result of cutting humanitarian aid. He's unsparing on writing and AI), amused and appalled that Trump has turned the National Mall into a mess with a reflecting pool gone "Kermit green," and closes on the question every prolific novelist gets asked and rarely answers honestly: does he ever actually rest? Finally, Chuck hops into the ToddCast Time Machine to draw parallels between the arguments in modern American politics to the argument between Richard Nixon and Nikita Khrushchev in the infamous “kitchen debate” and answers listeners’ questions in the “Ask Chuck” segment. Plus: The Iran Forever War Grinds On. Hegseth's Blue Angels “Morale ”Stunt. Quick Response Pod Donald Trump has been telegraphing this punch for months, and now it's landed. In a prime-time address to the nation, the president laid the groundwork to undermine free and fair elections this fall — the single greatest threat to his power. Paul Rieckhoff breaks down why this speech matters, why it wasn't a policy pitch but an opening salvo, and why the free and fair midterms are the circuit breaker Trump most wants to disable. The Democrats aren't ready. The Republicans are complicit or asleep. And most of America is trying to figure out if summer camp gets canceled tomorrow. Paul connects the dots from Iran to Venezuela to Minneapolis to the National Guard deployment in D.C. extended through 2029 — all gas, no brakes, no matter what Congress, the polls, or his own party say. He also gets into the Blue Angels flyover controversy and Pete Hegseth's “flyovers will continue until morale improves” post, and why using the military as a prop is a violation of protocol and a warning sign about accountability. This is a no-BS field briefing on a forever war that just refocused on the home front — your ballot. -WATCH full video of this episode here. -Millions of American veterans are being locked out of primary elections in the country they served. The information President Trump released publicly is alarming and on a scale of 1-10 is probably an 8 or 9 news story. But his speech missed the mark by a wide margin. It may not have mattered if they delivered this in a better way but it sure didn't come off the way many thought it would. The Blue Angels did the wildest flyover anyone can remember this week in Florida and is under review. But the Pentagon says the shows will go on for America 250. The man that operates the teleprompter for President Trump is in trouble for betting on Kalshi about certain phrases that would or wouldnt be in certain speeches. In England, the British Open is underway and these guys are going low in perfect conditions. One American player got the last laugh on a critic after his round. Mike Tyson doesn't know Shohei Ohtani is a man. Patrick Mahomes makes a bold statement that whether he plays or not in Game 1 has been taken out of his hands. The U.S. Navy Blue Angels stunned a Pensacola Beach crowd with a lower than expected pass that sent beach umbrellas and tents flying, but gave beachgoers a show they won’t soon forget. The extra low flyover initially triggered a safety review, but Pete Hegseth, Eric Trump and the White House all chimed in, calling any outrage, manufactured, saying the flyovers would continue “until morale improves.” Moments before this recording, the navy announced there were “no reprimands” and “no problem” with the maneuver. Blue Angels Under Investigation, Trump's New Election Claims & Reflecting Pool Mystery Solved The Pentagon is investigating a jaw-droppingly low Blue Angels flyover that stunned beachgoers in Florida, but the Department of Defense insists the mission was all about boosting morale. Was it an inspiring display of patriotism or an unnecessary risk? We break down what happened and why the investigation is already raising eyebrows. Then, all eyes turn to Donald Trump's primetime speech tonight, where sources say he'll argue that China attempted to interfere in U.S. elections, setting the stage for another round of explosive political claims. We'll discuss what to expect, the evidence that's been reported so far, and the broader political implications. Plus, a major update on the Washington Reflecting Pool saga. New drone footage appears to tell a very different story than the original vandalism narrative, raising fresh questions about what really caused the troubled renovation and whether officials got the story wrong from the start. All that, plus your latest political headlines and the stories everyone's talking about—on this afternoon's episode of The Rush Hour with Dave Neal.
