In this gripping episode of "Ireland Crimes and Mysteries," host Nuless explores the tragic disappearance of Fiona Sinnott, a 19-year-old who vanished from the village of Broadway in County Wexford, Ireland, in 1998. The episode paints a vivid picture of Fiona's life, highlighting her bubbly personality and the close-knit bond she shared with her family. It also delves into the darker aspects of her life, including her tumultuous relationship with an older boyfriend, marked by domestic abuse.Listeners are taken through the events leading up to Fiona's disappearance, including her last known sighting and the subsequent investigation. The podcast details the extensive search efforts, the various leads followed by the Gardaí, and the heartbreaking toll the case has taken on Fiona's family. Despite numerous theories and suspects, Fiona's fate remains a mystery, with no concrete evidence to bring those responsible to justice. The episode also touches on the broader implications of Fiona's case, linking it to the infamous "Vanishing Triangle" of missing women in Ireland during the 1990s. Nules calls for anyone with information to come forward, emphasising the importance of community support in solving such cases. The podcast serves as both a tribute to Fiona's memory and a plea for justice, hoping to finally bring closure to her grieving family. If you do have any information that can help get answers for Fionas family please contact:** Wexford Garda Station on 0539165200**The Garda confidential line on 1800666111**Or alternatively contact the national missing persons helpline on 1890 442 552** Email info@missingpersons.ie ** If you wish to remain anonymous please contact Help bring them home confidential line on 1800 911 999*Join me over on Patreon for extra perks like early access to episodes, monthly livestreams where we will be discussing the cases i've covered and much more as we build our own community.www.patreon.com/IrelandCrimesandMysteries*Visit my shop for exclusive Ireland Crimes and Mysteries merchandise. https://tinyurl.com/IrelandCrimesandMysteries*Sell your own Merch with TeePublic. Today's episode is with me, Fiona Staunton of Fionas's food for life Below are 10 tips that I hope may help you take some of the hassle and stress out of the Christmas dinner. 1. Now : Make your red cabbage now and freeze for Christmas,  Dessert: Make your Christmas pudding well in advance, (if you don't like traditional pudding, why don't you make a chocolate biscuit cake version). Alternatively, a lemon tart would be delicious if you don't want traditional and can be made 1-2 days in advance. Or a pretty Christmas meringue wreath. 3. Menu: Plan the menu, keep it simple, but tasty. I usually opt for                              Smoked salmon salad                               Turkey, baked ham,red cabbage, garlic sprouts and roast potatoes and cranberry sauce.                                Christmas pudding with brandy butter 4. Outsourcing: Outsource items to other family members, eg ask a brother to bring the ham, a sister to bring the starter and your mother to bring the plum pudding, made from an old family recipe! It can be a lot of pressure, and financial burden on one person. 5.Decoration: Get the kids involved in place settings or decoration. I find that girls in particular love craft and decorating things, why not get them to make place names for everyone? I have a recipe for edible gingerbread decorations, e.g. place names and a recipe for edible presents, pecan cookies. Time: allow extra time when cooking the main course. Remember that when you have lots of things going on in the oven, it can take longer for things to cook. Allow the turkey to stand for 30mins before carving. 7. Turkey & Ham: Buy enough to have some leftovers the next day but unless you enjoy making up batches of curries or pies don't buy a massive turkey or ham! If you don't want to deal with a large turkey, why don't you get a boned and rolled turkey from your butcher? Buy the best quality you can afford, eg organic bronzed turkey.Bake the ham the day before, have it hot on Christmas eve if you like, chill overnight but serve at room temperature on Christmas Day. 8. Gravy: Make the gravy the day before, to prevent the last minute pressure. 9. Brussel sprouts: The supermarkets and veg suppliers are loaded up with Brussel sprouts in the lead up to Christmas, it is traditional but not most people's favourite veg! Why not give a modern twist and shy away from the overcooked soft sprouts of our youth? If you shred them and steam fry in garlic and olive oil and top with bacon lardons it can be delicious. You can shred them the day before, store in the fridge covered in damp kitchen paper and they only take 5 mins or less to cook. Here is my recipe. 10. Cheese: Ireland has some amazing cheese. I think it is a wise investment to visit somewhere like Sheridan's Cheesemongers or a good local deli and buy a selection of Irish Cheese. While you may not eat it on Christmas day, a nice cheese board can make a fabulous, lunch, supper or final course to any dinner and if kept well will last for the whole holiday. It's time to make the yuletide gay! Come for the Christmas cheer and stay for Vanessa Hudgens putting her whole Vanessa Hudgussy into the tango while another Vanessa Hudgens does backflips into a split while slinking sexily around a bunch of lasers while a third Vanessa Hudgens meets with a convent disciplinary board on behalf of the Vanessa Hudgens that previously kidnapped her. This week, Leigh (@lshfoster) and Ellie (@elliebrigida) hang out with writer and comedian Colette McIntyre (@yungbabayaga) to talk about the Netflix Christmas romcom trilogy The Princess Switch, which we will now forever be referring to as P Swi. If you haven't seen these movies, buckle up because you are in for a holigay treat. The basic premise of the trilogy is that Vanessa Hudgens is actually 3 identical women, all of whom are gay af and who have to continually swap back and forth pretending to be one another for progressively more ludicrous reasons in fantasy European countries that somehow are within like a 2 hour flight of Chicago. The characters are in theory cousins (although in Stacey's case, extremely distantly), but that can't stop us from shipping Vanessa Hudgens with Vanessa Hudgens with Vanessa Hudgens (Don't lie to us, you know you saw it in that tango lesson scene). The films do us a huge disservice by desperately trying to convince us that the Hudges are all straight, even Fiona who is literally the most flamboyant high femme we have ever seen. Stacey and Edward don't even sleep together anymore by the second movie, Kevin and Margaret are in a lesbian relationship (You cannot convince us that Kevin isn't a lesbian stand-in, they got married in a freaking airport!), and Fiona is 100% sleeping with everyone she's ever met while also being in a relationship with her henchwoman Mindy (they didn't give Mindy that purple hair for us to just sleep on her being queer as hell). Seriously Fiona probably is broke because she spent all her inheritance money spoiling Mindy while on vacation at a White Lotus. The third movie is arguably the gayest, mostly because it is all Fiona all the time. There are literally 3 entire Fionas at one point and every side plot revolves around Fiona. We learn that she has unresolved mommy issues, we'll take relatable lesbian problems for 100, and we get a really cute and quintessentially queer found family plot. We will eagerly await The Princess Switch 4: Romancing The Strap and will take to the streets if we do not get at least one additional Vanessa Hudgens (although they really owe us 2 since they did not add a new one into P Swi 3). We know one thing for sure, P Swi Should've Been Gay. Follow along on Twitter: Lez Hang Out (@lezhangoutpod) and answer our Q & Gay at the end of every episode.
