Yes has been around for more than 55 years. They've made some of the world's best progressive rock music and even had some success on the pop charts. While The Wolf was living in London, he got to see Yes at Royal Albert Hall on the Close to the Edge 50 Tour which was a special night. It was there that he truly came to appreciate the talents of Jon Davison, the lead singer who is very close in age to your hosts. A friend of the late Taylor Hawkins, he does justice to classic Yes songs from throughout the catalog. After that show, The Wolf wanted to make sure he never missed his heroes again as long as Davison was fronting the band. On October 27, the boys came to his town and not only did he attend but he brought The Wolfcub, an aspiring guitar player, to see Steve Howe do his thing live. And they both loved the show (and The Wolfcub was handed an official Steve Howe guitar string!). They performed classics throughout the catalog and then after an intermission played Fragile in it's entirety straight-through, including big hits like Roundabout and Long Distance Runaround. But fan favorites like South Side of the Sky and Heart of the Sunrise really got the diehards on their feet! Steve Howe had his time in the sun on Mood for a Day and Geoff Downes had his spotlight doing the Rick Wakeman penned Cans and Brahms. Billy Sherwood showed why Chris Squire chose him to carry on his legacy, especially on The Fish and Jay Schellen kept them all in time. For those who wouldn't go because not enough original or heyday members are still in the band, we understand your argument. But this version of Yes fronted by Jon Davison delivers solid shows doing classics you love and the big screen behind them featuring Roger Dean artwork coming to life makes for a killer night out with Yes. From Birmingham to the Rock Hall: the life, legacy, and love of Moody Blues bassist John Lodge.John Lodge (July 20, 1943 – October 10, 2025) was far more than the bass player for The Moody Blues — he was the gentle soul and musical anchor behind one of rock's most beloved bands. With his distinctive melodic bass, soaring harmonies, and thoughtful songwriting, Lodge helped turn The Moody Blues from a struggling R&B group into pioneers of symphonic and progressive rock.Born in Birmingham, John grew up surrounded by the post-war explosion of British music. He joined The Moody Blues in 1966, along with guitarist Justin Hayward, just as the band was ready to reinvent itself. Together they reshaped the group's direction, moving away from covers and pop singles toward the lush, conceptual sound that would define the late 1960s. Their first major success, Days of Future Passed (1967), blended rock with classical orchestration and produced the timeless hit “Nights in White Satin.” Lodge's basslines and harmonies underpinned that transformation — a sound that felt cinematic, emotional, and deeply human.Over the next five decades, John Lodge's touch could be felt across The Moody Blues' greatest works. He wrote and sang enduring tracks like “Ride My See-Saw,” “Isn't Life Strange,” and “I'm Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band),” each one showcasing his knack for combining big ideas with irresistible hooks. While the band explored spirituality, time, and love through albums like In Search of the Lost Chord and A Question of Balance, Lodge kept their music grounded with rhythmic depth and melodic grace. As The Moody Blues evolved through the 1970s and 1980s, Lodge remained the band's creative backbone. His songwriting and stage presence were steady and sincere, and his partnership with Hayward became one of rock's most enduring collaborations. The group's music inspired generations, selling over 70 million albums and securing their place as one of the most influential acts in British rock history. In 2018, their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame marked the culmination of that extraordinary journey — a moment Lodge often described as “the completion of a dream we started as kids.”Even after The Moody Blues stopped touring in 2018, John Lodge's creative fire never dimmed. He continued recording and performing with his “10,000 Light Years Band,” revisiting classic Moody Blues songs while writing new ones that carried his message of faith and hope. His solo projects included B Yond (2019), The Royal Affair and After (2021), and Days of Future Passed – My Sojourn (2023), a heartfelt reinterpretation of the Moody Blues' 1967 masterpiece. His final release, Love Conquers All (2025), and the moving single “Whispering Angels,” co-written with his son-in-law Jon Davison of Yes, captured Lodge's optimism and belief in love's enduring power.Offstage, John Lodge lived a grounded life. Married to his wife Kirsten since 1968, he was a devoted husband and father to their children, Emily and Kristian. His song “Emily's Song” remains one of his most tender creations, written as a gift for his daughter and cherished by fans for its emotional honesty. Lodge often credited his Christian faith with keeping him centered through the highs and lows of fame, and he spoke often about gratitude — for music, family, and the fans who shared the journey with him.John Lodge passed away on October 10, 2025, at age 82, surrounded by family and the sounds of The Everly Brothers and Buddy Holly — the artists who first inspired him. His passing marked the end of an era, but his spirit lives on in the music that continues to inspire listeners around the world. From Birmingham stages to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, John Lodge's story is one of faith, friendship, and timeless creativity. He reminded us that true artistry isn't about chasing fame — it's about touching hearts. And through every note he played, he did exactly that.

fWotD Episode 2743: Starship Troopers (film) Welcome to Featured Wiki of the Day, your daily dose of knowledge from Wikipedia’s finest articles. The featured article for Thursday, 7 November 2024 is Starship Troopers (film).Starship Troopers is a 1997 American science fiction action film directed by Paul Verhoeven and written by Edward Neumeier, based on the 1959 novel by Robert A. Heinlein. Set in the 23rd century, the story follows teenager Johnny Rico and his comrades as they serve in the military of the United Citizen Federation, an Earth-based world government engaged in an interstellar war against an alien species known as the Arachnids. The film stars Casper Van Dien, Dina Meyer, Denise Richards, Jake Busey, Neil Patrick Harris, Patrick Muldoon, and Michael Ironside.Development of Starship Troopers began in 1991 as Bug Hunt at Outpost 7, written by Neumeier. After recognizing similarities between Neumeier's script and Heinlein's book, producer Jon Davison suggested aligning the script more closely with the novel to garner greater interest from studio executives. Despite these efforts development was slow, with studios hesitant to fund the costly project right up to the start of filming. Principal photography took place between April and October 1996 on a $100–110 million budget, of which nearly half was spent on the extensive computer-generated imagery (CGI) and practical effects required to vivify the Arachnid creatures.Released on November 7, 1997, Starship Troopers faced critical backlash, with reviewers interpreting the film as endorsing fascism and disparaging its violence and cast performances. Despite initial box office success, collections slowed down amid negative reviews and unfavorable word of mouth, culminating in a $121 million total gross against its budget, which made it the 34th-highest-grossing film of 1997. The disappointing performance of Starship Troopers was blamed, in part, on competition from a high number of successful or anticipated science fiction and genre films released that year, its satire and violence failing to connect with mainstream audiences, and ineffective marketing.Since its release, Starship Troopers has been critically re-evaluated and is now considered a cult classic and a prescient satire of fascism and authoritarian governance that has grown in relevancy. The film launched a multimedia franchise that includes four sequels—Starship Troopers 2: Hero of the Federation (2004), Starship Troopers 3: Marauder (2008), Starship Troopers: Invasion (2012), and Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars (2017)—as well as a 1999 animated television series, video games, comics, and a variety of merchandise. This recording reflects the Wikipedia text as of 15:06 UTC on Friday, 8 November 2024.For the full current version of the article, see Starship Troopers (film) on Wikipedia. This podcast uses content from Wikipedia under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License.Visit our archives at wikioftheday.com and subscribe to stay updated on new episodes.Follow us on Mastodon at @wikioftheday@masto.ai.Also check out Curmudgeon's Corner, a current events podcast.Until next time, I'm neural Aria.

featured Wiki of the Day

fWotD Episode 2621: RoboCop Welcome to Featured Wiki of the Day, your daily dose of knowledge from Wikipedia’s finest articles. The featured article for Monday, 8 July 2024 is RoboCop.RoboCop is a 1987 American science fiction action film directed by Paul Verhoeven and written by Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner. The film stars Peter Weller, Nancy Allen, Daniel O'Herlihy, Ronny Cox, Kurtwood Smith, and Miguel Ferrer. Set in a crime-ridden Detroit in the near future, RoboCop centers on police officer Alex Murphy (Weller) who is murdered by a gang of criminals and revived by the megacorporation Omni Consumer Products as the cyborg law enforcer RoboCop. Unaware of his former life, RoboCop executes a campaign against crime while coming to terms with the lingering fragments of his humanity. The film was conceived by Neumeier while working on the set of Blade Runner (1982), and he developed the idea with Miner. Their script was purchased in early 1985 by producer Jon Davison on behalf of Orion Pictures. Finding a director proved difficult; Verhoeven dismissed the script twice because he did not understand its satirical content, until he was convinced of its value by his wife. Filming took place between August and October 1986, mainly in Dallas, Texas. Rob Bottin led the special-effects team in creating practical effects, violent gore and the RoboCop costume.Verhoeven emphasized violence throughout the film, making it so outlandish that it became comical. Censorship boards believed that it was too extreme, however, and several scenes were shortened or modified to receive an acceptable theatrical rating. RoboCop was a financial success upon its release in July 1987, earning $53.4 million. Reviewers praised it as a clever action film with deeper philosophical messages and satire, but were conflicted about its extreme violence. The film was nominated for several awards, and won an Academy Award and a number of Saturn Awards.RoboCop has been critically reevaluated since its release, and it has been hailed as one of the best films of the 1980s and one of the greatest science fiction and action films ever made. The film has been praised for its depiction of a robot affected by the loss of humanity, in contrast to the stoic and emotionless robotic characters of that era. RoboCop has continued to be analyzed for its themes such as the nature of humanity, personal identity, corporate greed and corruption, and is seen as a rebuke of the era's Reaganomics policies. Its success created a franchise: the sequels RoboCop 2 (1990) and RoboCop 3 (1993), children's animated series, live-action television shows, video games, comic books, toys, clothing and other merchandise. A remake was released in 2014.This recording reflects the Wikipedia text as of 01:28 UTC on Monday, 8 July 2024.For the full current version of the article, see RoboCop on Wikipedia. This podcast uses content from Wikipedia under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License.Visit our archives at wikioftheday.com and subscribe to stay updated on new episodes.Follow us on Mastodon at @wikioftheday@masto.ai.Also check out Curmudgeon's Corner, a current events podcast.Until next time, I'm standard Russell.

Today's Bonus Track features the legendary John Lodge of the Moody Blues. John's heading out this week for a special tour starting on July 18 where he'll be playing the entire classic Moody Blues album Days of Future Passed. We dig into a lot of different topics, including Days of Future Passed, of course -- and John also shares some stories regarding the individual members of the Moody Blues and some of his favorite memories.A couple of weeks after this interview, John announced that he'd completed a full re-recording of the album, titled Days of Future Passed - My Sojourn. Information on how the new version of the record came together follows. Our thanks to John as always for taking the time to chat!--John Lodge, legendary bass player, songwriter and vocalist of The Moody Blues and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, has announced that he will be releasing his version of the iconic album ‘Days of Future Passed', entitled ‘Days of Future Passed – My Sojourn', to accompany his upcoming tour of the same name. The album is to be released on CD as special fan club only release, and will be available at the upcoming shows starting July 18th, and through John's website https://shop.johnlodge.com for pre-orders, with shipping on August 7th. The album was recorded over the last year, and has grown from John's current live show as he, and his 10,000 Light Years Band, lovingly recreate this classic album. The album also features a special recording by the late Graeme Edge and performances by Jon Davison of YES. It is being released as part of John's celebration of the album ‘that changed his life', and with the hope that it will continue to introduce fans to the original iconic recording. The album's orchestration is by John's long-term collaborator, and great friend, Alan Hewitt. “November 2023 will be the 56th anniversary of 'Days of Future Passed'. It's incredible to look back on this album that changed my life, and that still has so much impact today on so many, and I felt that it deserved celebrating, and so I began rehearsals in 2021/2022 to bring this celebration to life on stage. What was important to me was to make this concert another milestone in the history of ‘Days of Future Passed', and so I asked Graeme if he would record his poetry, ‘Morning Glory' and ‘Late Lament', to include in my concert. Graeme gave me his blessing and said, ‘John, Keep the Moody Blues music alive'. We had a fantastic time putting the show together, with Alan, Duffy, Billy and Jason, and Jon Davison, giving me so much support and helping bring my vision to life. After the final rehearsals for the concert, I realised I should capture this new moment in time, although a reflection of the past, forever, by going into the studio and recording the album, ‘Days of Future Passed – My Sojourn'. I am hoping that this will bring a new generation of listeners to the album, that they then may rediscover the original recording, and the beautiful vocals of Mike Pinder, Justin Hayward, Ray Thomas and myself.  I dedicate this album to Graeme, Justin, Mike and Ray, to Tony Clarke, and to all the fans that are with me on this sojourn, no matter when you joined…”  John Lodge July 2023 The CD in Digipak will be available starting July 18th at John's first show in Rockford, IL, and a vinyl album is due to follow in the Fall.  The album will also be available to stream and download from July 14th. The cover features a poignant photograph of John and his wife, Kirsten, taken by his daughter-in-law, Inga Wilson - for John, this was an image that perfectly encapsulated the idea of past and future and what this album means to him. Go here to stream and download, https://slinky.to/DaysOfFuturePassed

Produced by Joseph Cottrell, Ken Fuller, Wayne Hall and Jeffrey Crecelius This week Mark and I had a lovely conversation with Yes lead singer, Jon Davison. We chatted about the new album, Mirror to the Sky and his contributions to it as well as the band's live plans and the future. We also touched on Tormato (there's a surprise), John Lodge and other topics in a packed interview. Jon was an absolute delight and his passion for Yes music is obvious. As he points out, Billy, Jay and he have always been Yes fanboys. As i write this there is one week to go until both the new Yes album is released and (hopefully) Yes The Tormato Story finally sees the light of day, so it's once again an exciting time to be a Yes fan. See if you agree or disagree with what's said and let us know by leaving a comment on the show notes for this episode. Is Jon pleased with Mirror To The Sky? What was his role in creating the album? Produced by Joseph Cottrell, Ken Fuller, Wayne Hall and Jeffrey Crecelius In a change to the advertised episode, Mark and I thought it was essential to give our thoughts on the new Yes single Cut From The Stars so most of this episode is devoted to the best new Yes music for many years. How does this new Yes music compare to The Quest? Does it sound progressive? Does it increase the anticipation for the new album? https://youtu.be/5WSqjH6mFhk YES announce new studio album ‘Mirror To The Sky' for release 19th May 2023; launch first single ‘Cut From The Stars' YES, who are Steve Howe, Geoff Downes, Jon Davison, Billy Sherwood & Jay Schellen, are pleased to announce their new studio album Mirror To The Sky on InsideOutMusic/Sony Music on the 19th May 2023. “This is a very important album for the band,” says Steve Howe, Yes' longest serving member, master guitarist, and producer of Mirror To The Sky. “We kept the continuity in the approach we established on The Quest, but we haven't repeated ourselves. That was the main thing. As Yes did in the seventies from one album to another, we're growing and moving forward. In later years, Yes often got going but then didn't do the next thing. This album is demonstrative of us growing, and building again.” For Yes, that “next thing” is a collection of high energy, intricate, lush and layered new studio songs for an album which adds to the band's much heralded legacy, while charting a path to exciting future times ahead. Today also sees the launch of the first track taken from the album. Magic Potion 04:08 As they were wrapping up The Quest, Yes found themselves with song sketches, structures, and ideas that were demanding attention. Yes received unconditional support from InsideOut boss Thomas Waber, who encouraged them to keep going in the studio, months before The Quest would even go on sale. It was like throwing gasoline on their creative fire. “When we delivered everything, and they were just getting the vinyl and everything into production for manufacturing, we were still very much in that creative zone,” explains Steve Howe. “That belief that Thomas had in us really meant a lot,” he says. “We truly get along as people,” says Jon Davison. “I feel like everyone's focused inward to the greater circle, concentric to the core of highest standards that define Yes. It's a wonderful thing to witness and of which to play a part. I believe this reflects vibrantly in the music and the creative input that each one is willing to apply, not for the benefit of the individual, but for the greater whole that is Yes.” “There was a lot of material floating around because the band hadn't done anything in the studio for so long. Ideas were just copious,” says bassist Billy Sherwood. “The pace of it was fast. As soon as we were finished with The Quest, and the mix had come out, we took a couple of little breaks there to catch our breath. But there was still music flowing around in the loop. It was just constantly being looked at and worked on. As we were all home and in that mode,

Thanks to friend of the YMP Roie Avin, I managed to speak to Steve Howe about his new album with his late son Virgil, Lunar Mist as well as the US tour which began yesterday with a preview concert. (Don't worry, I managed to slip in a question about Tormato as well.) YMP Producer Ken Fuller went along to the dress rehearsal and I've added his photos from the event to the show notes for this week. The gig took place at Mickey's Black Box, part of long-time Yes collaborator Michael Tait's empire also known as the Rock Lititz campus in Philadelphia. In fact Michael introduced the band and spoke about his connections with Yes. (Incidentally he is now retired.) Also this week Doug Curran was at the wonderful Alan White tribute concert in Seattle which featured Trevor Rabin, Billy Sherwood, Jon Davison, Geoff Downes, Jay Schellen and a host of other stars. A truly moving event to remember a truly remarkable person. Add to all this the announcement of concert dates for Jon Anderson and the Band Geeks in 2023 complete with a great video of the whole band in action together. Actually I think it's a composite video using some clever remote recording but whatever the case, it all sounds fantastic. Fingers crossed they are able to visit the UK. How does Lunar Mist complement Nexus?Who decided what Tormato should be called? How is touring? Take a listen to the episode and then let us know what you think below! YES marks the 50th anniversary of their legendary Close To The Edge album by performing it live in its entirety.  After waiting more than 2 and a half years, I arrived at Royal Albert Hall in London to soak in the atmosphere of progressive rock greatness.Just weeks before the start of the tour, drummer Alan White died suddenly which shook the band & its fans to the core.  YES has chosen to soldier on and dedicate the tour to Alan's memory with Jay Schellen filling in for him.  With iconic artist Roger Dean on hand to introduce the band and pay tribute to Alan, it really set the stage for a memorable night of great music. There really was a sense of community in the crowd that night, despite the railway strike which ultimately kept a few fans from attending and The Wolf enjoyed a special evening amongst the prog rock heroes.  He and Action Jackson walk through the setlist, the people we bumped into and the performance from June 21, 2022.

It is again with heavy hearts that we deliver this week's episode about yet another fallen drummer: the amazing Mr. Alan White. The YES drummer passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 72 after dealing with some more recent illnesses. Kevin has a very deep connection to YES and Alan as a lifelong fan and student of their music. While not an obscure band by any means (the Rock & Roll Hall-of-Famers have sold 13.5 million RIAA-certified albums in the US, as well as more than 30 million albums worldwide and in 1985, they won a Grammy award), Alan had a number of side projects and collaborations during his 50-year tenure with YES. Another tough loss for the classic and progressive rock community.New to InObscuria? Typically, what we do is exhume obscure Rock n' Punk n' Metal in one of 3 categories: the Lost, the Forgotten, or the Should Have Beens. In the case of this particular episode, we are leaning towards the LOST. We are paying tribute to another titan of rock drummers! Rest In Peace Alan. Sometimes life happens… and sometimes death happens. Everyone in the rock world was shocked to hear of Taylor Hawkins's untimely passing on March 25, 2022. We didn't know the man, but certainly thought a lot of him as a phenomenal musician who really was the driving force behind the Foo Fighters as well as modern rock n' roll in general. From videos and documentaries, he seemed like a really cool guy and sweet dude. This week we pay tribute to the smilin' heavy hitter and a hell of a singer, the only way we know how, by not playing a single note from the Foo Fighters. New to InObscuria? It's all about digging up obscure Rock n' Punk n' Metal from one of 3 categories: the Lost, the Forgotten, or the Should Have Beens. In this episode, we will focus on Taylor's solo material, guest appearances, and side projects. If there is one positive thing to come from this sadness, it would be that all of his great music gets the exposure it deserves.Songs this week include:Dave Grohl & Taylor Hawkins – “2112 Overture” from RUSH, Rock Hall Induction Ceremony (2013)Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders – “Shapes Of Things” from Get The Money (2019)Brian May – “Cyborg” from Another World (1998)Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders – “Louise” from Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders(2006)Coheed & Cambria – “No World For Tomorrow” from Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World for Tomorrow(2007)Taylor Hawkins – “Southern Belles” from Kota (2016)The Birds Of Satan – “Wait Til Tomorrow” from The Birds Of Satan (2014)Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders – “Don't Have To Speak” from Red Light Fever(2010)Please subscribe everywhere that you listen to podcasts!Visit us: https://inobscuria.com/https://www.facebook.com/InObscuriahttps://twitter.com/inobscuriahttps://www.instagram.com/inobscuria/Buy cool stuff with our logo on it!: https://www.redbubble.com/people/InObscuria?asc=uCheck out Robert's amazing fire sculptures and metal workings here: http://flamewerx.com/If you'd like to check out Kevin's band THE SWEAR, take a listen on all streaming services or pick up a digital copy of their latest release here: https://theswear.bandcamp.com/If you want to hear Robert and Kevin's band from the late 90s – early 00s BIG JACK PNEUMATIC, check it out here: https://bigjackpnuematic.bandcamp.com/

I was in a hotel room with just my laptop but this news was clearly too important to miss. Why has Relayer been shelved? Will we ever hear the full album live?Is it too soon to play Close To The Edge in its entirety again? Listen to the episode and let us know what you think! PRESS RELEASE: 50th Anniversary Celebration of Close to the Edge for UK The Album Series Tour in June 8th March 2022: Progressive pioneers YES have announced a change to their forthcoming The Album Series Tour 2022 as they will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their iconic album Close to the Edge. This tour, twice rescheduled due to the Covid pandemic was intended to showcase YES's 1974 classic Relayer album but will now feature Close to the Edge, performed in full, along with other classic tracks from YES's extensive catalogue.  An announcement regarding the European dates will be made shortly. The tour line-up features Steve Howe (guitars), Alan White (drums), Geoff Downes (keyboards), Jon Davison (vocals), Billy Sherwood (bass guitar and backing vocals) with additional drums and percussion by Jay Schellen. All tour dates are as previously announced and all tickets remain valid. A full performance of the Relayer album will now be featured in a future tour in The Album Series. The show will comprise full production and a high-definition video wall directed by Roger Dean who will also be joining the tour with an exhibition of YES related art. Following the release of The Yes Album and Fragile, in 1971, YES released what is widely considered one of the most defining albums, not only for YES but for the whole progressive movement. Close to the Edge became an inspiration for their contemporaries and for successive generations of musicians. “We reached a real high, doing ‘Close to the Edge',” said Steve Howe. “We valued the musicianship, the artistic ideas and the vocalising that people bring and that's why we're still doing it, because it's exciting to do! ‘Close to the Edge' was voted the most-proggy album possibly ever made. It was very experimental. We had already done 10-minute epics but with ‘Close to the Edge' we just took it a stage further and I'm very pleased we were brave enough to do that.” YES 2022 UK Tour Dates Are: June 2022 15th June       Wednesday   Glasgow        Royal Concert Hall 17th June       Friday             Manchester   Bridgewater Hall 18th June       Saturday        Nottingham   Royal Concert Hall 20th June       Monday          Liverpool        Philharmonic Hall 21st June        Tuesday         London           Royal Albert Hall 22nd June       Thursday       York                Barbican 24th June       Friday             Birmingham   Symphony Hall 26th June       Sunday          Newcastle      O2 City Hall 28th June       Tuesday         Dublin Eire    Vicar Street 29th June       Wednesday   Cork Eire       Opera House Tickets remain valid for the rescheduled shows. This is Play It Forward. Real people. Real stories. The struggle to Play It Forward. Episode 368 with John Lodge from The Moody Blues.John Lodge, legendary bass player, songwriter and vocalist of The Moody Blues, and inductee of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is to release a new version of his classic hit ‘Ride My See-Saw' out on Keeping the Faith for Halesouth Ltd, distributed by BFD/The Orchard. The song also features Jon Davison of YES on backing vocals. The song was recorded live in Las Vegas on ‘The Royal Affair Tour', and appears on John's new live album, ‘The Royal Affair and After' due for release on December 3rd, and available now for pre-order here. This is the first single from the album, and Ultimate Classic Rock has premiered the video here: https://ultimateclassicrock.com/john-lodge-ride-my-see-saw-video "Ride My See-Saw" was written by Lodge, and was one of two singles from their In Search of the Lost Chord album released in 1967. Billboard described it at the time as a "blockbuster rocker" and a "mover from start to finish", and John's new version continues to be that ‘rocker' today! The song explores the idea of knowledge in a changing world, and ponders the question if perhaps what we are taught is not how things really are. Despite being 54 years old, the theme, and the sound, are as relevant today as they were back then.
