This week on "Streaming Without A Paddle" Andrew and Ted took in the Netflix Holiday Original ... "Our Little Secret" starring Lindsay Lohan (Avery) and Ian Harding (Logan) with appearances / co-starring Kristin Chenoweth, Jon Rudnitsky, and Katie Baker. Avery and Logan were long time boyfriend and girlfriend that ultimately ended leaving the two estranged as they went on with their lives with each finding new loves ... that just happened to be siblings. Christmas brings Avery and Logan back together as they accompany their partners back to their family home to celebrate the season. Upon their shocking arrival Avery and Logan feel it best to keep their previous relationship a secret but as time goes on, as well as their rekindling of their relationship, it is found out by the third sibling of their partners Avery and Logan's history. And as Ted said ... Hilarity Ensues.

Tayarisha Poe's spectacular sophomore film finds Celestina, (Kiersey Clemons, DOPE, Hearts Beat Loud) on her wedding day. That Show Hasn't Been Funny In Years: an SNL podcast on Radio Misfits
In this brand-new episode, Nick is joined by comedian, writer, and actor Jon Rudnitsky, who was not only a cast member for one season of "Saturday Night Live," but he was also the very first guest on this podcast!! Nick and Jon catch up, chat about the best SNL bits ever, and talk about what Jon has been up to for the past two years (including stand-up tours, television, and movies), as well as what's happening next for him. Plus, Nick and Jon discuss their mutual obsession with the film "Magnolia," and recap some great SNL stories (like the time Miley Cyrus licked his face, and the nightmare of working on the episode that Donald Trump hosted during the Presidential campaign), and he tells an unbelievably hilarious story about how Matthew McConaughey was molesting him, while Bill Murray was wrestling Jay Pharoah down the hall....you just gotta hear it. That Show Hasn't Been Funny In Years: an SNL podcast on Radio Misfits
On episode #2 of this SNL podcast, Nick is joined by comedian, writer, and actor Jon Rudnitsky, who was a cast member for one season of "Saturday Night Live," and it was a very memorable season indeed. Jon talks about how he was discovered at a comedy festival, what he did for his SNL audition, and what it was like to work those grueling, no-sleep-having hours at 30 Rock (without the cocaine they had in the 70s). They talk about his first moments on the show (Miley Cyrus licked him), the nightmare of working on the episode that Donald Trump hosted during the Presidential campaign (we're not sure if Trump can read), and the bond he had with cast members like Kate McKinnon, Bobby Moynihan and Kenan Thompson. Jon also talks about what it's like to work with George Clooney, be inspired by the Marx Brothers and Sid Caesar, and the joy of working with Larry David on "Curb Your Enthusiasm." A must listen for all SNL fans. [EP2]

After months of tracking Tessa Coates’ pilot Primates, we were so happy to finally get it on the pod last week. If you haven’t listen to it yet, get on it! Andrew caught up with Tessa in this week’s episode to discuss the rollercoaster ride her pilot went on in the development process. She talked about her experience of learning how to write a pilot on the spot. What it was like to work with Greg Daniels (The Office, King of The Hill) and a helpful tip on how to make your characters come alive. Enjoy this one and thanks for listening! For more Dead Pilots Society episodes and information about our live shows, please subscribe to the podcast!Make sure to like us on Facebook, follow us on Instagram, and Twitter, and visit our website at deadpilotssociety.com
This month we bring you a pilot that was consumed in the fires of Quibi's epic flame-out! The pilot is Primates by Tessa Coates. Tessa is a British writer, performer, journalist, and comedian. Primates is based on her debut solo show which sold out its entire run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and ran at the Soho Theatre to even more sell-out audiences. After Soho, Tessa performed her show around Los Angeles, and then sold it in a competitive situation to ABC Studios with Greg Daniels (The Office, King of the Hill) attached to executive produce. After a round of development at ABC, the project moved to Quibi, and, well, you know how that ended. Primates centers around Tessa, a hapless primatologist who tries to navigate love, life, and friendship, one biology lesson at a time. Primates stars Tessa Coates as Tessa, Maria Bamford as The Professor, Lolly Adefope as Kat, Joel Kim Booster as Anthony, Nick Mohammed as Dean Gaffney, Jon Rudnitsky as Jamie, Moujan Zolfaghari as Very First Bug/Embarrassed Female/Sandrine/Other Uber Pool Passenger/Juliette, Hal Lublin as Chimpanzee/Wright Brothers/Steve Ballmer/John The Uber Driver/Director/Freud/ Mark Gagliardi as Schrodinger/Uber Passenger/Buzz Aldrin/Wright Brothers/Cave Man and Andrew Reich with stage directions. Enjoy it!For more Dead Pilots Society episodes and information about our live shows, please subscribe to the podcast!Make sure to like us on Facebook, follow us on Instagram, and Twitter, and visit our website at deadpilotssociety.com
We return to the not-so-distant past with our pal Mike Bloom in tow to explore something a LITTLE more modern than usual. We discuss Larry, Bernie, hungry guys, needless Zoolander cameos, Jon Rudnitsky and Ted Cruz's one moment in the sun and more!
He’s back for the third time JON RUDNITSKY! Taking to the balcony to get stoned, Jon decides to do it sober but Rick finds out after he already ate an eatable!! ...and the chaos ensues. Jon comes in, second guessing and unsure of himself, which high-Rick leans into as a faux-bully who doesn’t know when he’s gone too far. They attempt a script reading session which is a certain fail and discuss Jon’s insecurities and Rick being too-much and “always on." Jon nearly gets to tell us about his recent engagement and we get to hear both the boys attempt something near an Irish and Scottish accent. Jon shows us his epic air piano and they form an impromptu air-instrument band. This episode is full of Rick-direction and lots of visual Goblin Bits (watch on YouTube!) which if you want to see the BTS of how Rick gets his guests to copy we upload them to Patreon weekly!! Just like Jon’s first shoes off visit, they manage to get a bit high and spend the episode being the ultimate Yes-And duo. You’ll see costume changes, act-outs, and enough Justin Timberlake content to last you through 2020. #8NIGHTSOFTYSO is on it’s home stretch so keep tuning in for the final three guests: Lamorne Morris (New Girl), Larry Charles (Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm) & Jon Dewalt (Who Cares) ft. a Christmas Cherub. Hello Working Comic Fans! I am super excited to share with you one of my FAVORITE recent interviews. I had the chance to meet with Jon Rudnitsky, a former cast member of Saturday Night Live! Jon was a featured player in SNL's 41st season that aired 2015-16. I met Jon a couple of years ago outside the Hollywood Improv and I remembered him being such a cool guy. At the time, he was most notable for winning the 2012 UCLA vs USC Laugh Bowl and then going on to star in some hilarious viral videos. When he got onto SNL, I was absolutely mind blown and extremely impressed. It's not usual to see someone YOU KNOW get on the most coveted comedy TV show of all time. Here are some of the many things you can expect to hear about: going from a USC grad to SNL to movies, how Jon got an SNL audition, what the SNL Audition is like, what it's like to work as a performer for SNL, the Hulu mini series he worked on with George Clooney, and how to be resilient!
Comedian Jc Currais is a nefarious alcoholic and comedian Chris Cope is a huge pothead. Which makes them the perfect hosts for the new show, “Impaired” where they will be challenging fellow comedians, Jon Rudnitsky (Saturday Night Live) and Chinedu Unaka (The Mindy Project) to a series of trivia games, interviews and hilarious segments all while getting f@#$ed up. Keep your ears open for this episode’s secret word.
