"Thunderbolts*" marks a potentially major turning point within the MCU as it brings a group of anti-heroes together to face a new threat and forces them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. The marketing has been called out for its A24 style, with particular early positive reactions directed towards the cast and director Jake Schreier's more grounded approach to the filmmaking. Schreier and the film's Oscar-nominated composers, Ryan Lott, Rafiq Bhatia, and Ian Chang (otherwise known as "Son Lux"), were all kind enough to spend some time speaking with us about their work and experience making the film, which you can listen to below. Please be sure to check out the film, which is opening in theaters on May 2nd from Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Thank you, and enjoy! We present our Snow White (2025) review! Disney's Snow White, or simply Snow White, is a 2025 American musical fantasy film directed by Marc Webb and written by Erin Cressida Wilson. Produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Marc Platt Productions, it is a live-action reimagining of Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which itself is based on the 1812 fairy tale "Snow White" by the Brothers Grimm. Starring Rachel Zegler in the titular role, with Andrew Burnap and Gal Gadot, it follows the pure-hearted Snow White who joins forces with seven dwarfs and a bandit named Jonathan to free her kingdom from her cruel stepmother.Plans for a remake of 1937's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs were confirmed in October 2016, with Wilson announced as a screenwriter. Webb entered talks to direct the film in May 2019 and was announced as director in September 2019. Filming took place primarily in London, England, from March to July 2022, with additional filming and pick-ups taking place in June 2024. With an estimated production budget of $240–270 million, Snow White is one of the most expensive films ever made and Disney's fifteenth most expensive to date. The film elicited several controversies leading up to its release, with criticism against the color-blind casting, story changes, Zegler's public critiques of the original film, Zegler and Gadot's political views, and reimagining of the Seven Dwarfs.Snow White premiered at Alcázar of Segovia in Segovia, Spain, on March 12, 2025, and was released in the United States by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on March 21, 2025. It has received mixed reviews from critics and has grossed $87.3 million worldwide.Disclaimer: The following may contain offensive language, adult humor, and/or content that some viewers may find offensive – The views and opinions expressed by any one speaker does not explicitly or necessarily reflect or represent those of Mark Radulich or W2M Network.Mark Radulich and his wacky podcast on all the things:https://linktr.ee/markkind76alsohttps://www.teepublic.com/user/radulich-in-broadcasting-networkFB Messenger: Mark Radulich LCSWTiktok: @markradulichtwitter: @MarkRadulichInstagram: markkind76RIBN Album Playlist: https://suno.com/playlist/91d704c9-d1ea-45a0-9ffe-5069497bad59

This week, Alex & Dan are showing off their newly gifted wing-suit (sans cowl!) as they take to the orange sofa to discuss the 35th MCU film and the fourth in the Captain America franchise - it's a Brave New World! The film can be tied up in 2hours, but does it tell us a consistent and enoyable storyline, full of impressive fight sequences, improved CGI (since Quantumania!) and a rich interwoven web of backstory for relatable characters? Well.... some of it is there, for sure!Marred by cancel culture and extensive reshoots, Alex & Dan discuss the bits they liked, the bits they didn't....and what was missing to need all of those reshoots. They also get some insight from an insider in the production team, which tells us some of what was going on behind the scenes - and why we perhaps got a version of the film we did.And where the hell is Rhodey?Grab your shield, this one is the spoilerific review you've been waiting for!#GITS

In March 2019, The Walt Disney Company officially completed its $71.3 billion purchase of 21st Century Fox and gained the film rights to several Marvel Comics characters for Marvel Studios, including Deadpool and the X-Men. After a long development period, Marvel Studios finally announced plans to incorporate the R-rated Deadpool franchise into the relatively family-friendly Marvel Cinematic Universe. In an unexpected twist, Hugh Jackman joined the cast to reprise his role as Wolverine, last seen in 2017's Logan, teaming up with Deadpool in this multiverse-spanning movie that pays homage to the Fox films. The first R-rated movie directly distributed under Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures became the highest grossing R rated movie of all time, the second-highest grossing movie of 2024, and the highest grossing MCU outing since Spider-Man: No Way Home - another multiverse mash-up movie with legacy nods. In this episode of the "Giant Mess" podcast, movie lover Neal Lynch recaps and reviews Deadpool and Wolverine, the most Deadpool movie in the history of Deadpool, a meta buddy comedy that ushers in the Mutant Era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Deadpool and Wolverine is the first R-rated movie in the MCU, the first R-rated movie directly distributed under Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, and the first R-rated movie to cross $200 million domestically in its opening weekend. Cast Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson / Deadpool: A wisecracking mercenary from Earth-10005 with accelerated healing but severe scarring over his body after undergoing an experimental regenerative mutation to treat terminal cancer Writer Rhett Reese described Deadpool as a fish-out-of water in the film, a lunatic dropped into the "sane world" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Hugh Jackman as James "Logan" Howlett / Wolverine: A former member of the X-Men and a mutant with healing abilities, retractable claws, and an adamantium-infused skeleton. Matthew Macfadyen as Mr. Paradox: A Time Variance Authority (TVA) agent who oversees an unsanctioned project to speed up the death of Earth-10005 by using the "Time Ripper", a machine which can mercy kill timelines. Paradox hopes to prove himself with this to become the leader of the TVA.Synopsis: Deadpool is offered a place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by the Time Variance Authority, but instead recruits a variant of Wolverine to save his universe from extinction. Deadpool's peaceful existence comes crashing down when the Time Variance Authority recruits him to help safeguard the multiverse. He soon unites with his would-be pal, Wolverine, to complete the mission and save his world from an existential threat. Control of the character was transferred to Marvel Studios, which began developing a new film with Reynolds. "Deadpool & Wolverine" is one of 2024's most anticipated films. Arriving at a time when the MCU so desperately needs a shot in its arm, the third "Deadpool" film brings Hugh Jackman's Wolverine back from the dead after his Oscar-nominated send-off in 2017's "Logan" to combat a new threat, but not before they tear and claw into each other first. Executive Producer Wendy Jacobson and Marvel Studios President and Producer Kevin Feige were kind enough to lend me a few minutes to speak with me about the film following a preview I saw of the film's first act. Please be sure to check out the film, which is opening this weekend in theaters on July 26th from Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Thank you, and enjoy!
