She had seen what she believed was a ghost once before, when she was ten years old. More than thirty years passed without another experience, and that childhood memory was the last thing on her mind when she was selected for a sequestered murder trial. Then, after days of testimony and photographs, she woke in her hotel room and saw a woman standing near the window. She recognized her immediately. It was the victim. The woman never spoke, never pointed to the defendant and never seemed to tell her what verdict to reach. But after she appeared a second time, the juror began to wonder whether the message was something much simpler.Maybe the victim only wanted one person in that courtroom to remember that behind all the evidence was someone whose life mattered.#Ghosts #ParanormalEncounters #GhostlyVisitation #MessagesFromBeyond #HauntedHotel #SpiritEncounter #Afterlife #Supernatural #GhostStory #ApparitionLove real ghost stories? Before he thrilled television audiences with Alfred Hitchcock Presents, there were attempts to bring the master of suspense to radio in his own anthology series. We'll hear the three audition shows as we continue our salute to the great director. First, it's an adaptation of "The Lodger" - the audition show for what became Suspense - featuring Herbert Marshall and Edmund Gwenn (originally aired on CBS on July 22, 1940). Then, it's a pair of adaptations of "Malice Aforethought" - first for Once Upon a Midnight with Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy, and for The Alfred Hitchcock Show featuring Joseph Kearns.
He had heard the old theater was haunted, but backstage stories about footsteps, voices and doors opening on their own were easy enough to dismiss. Then he started seeing a woman standing in the stage-right wing.At first, he assumed she was part of the crew. But she never moved props, never spoke to anyone and always seemed to appear during the same scene. Eventually, he learned that other actors had reported seeing her there for years. What he couldn't understand was why she seemed so interested in him. Then, during a performance, she moved closer than she ever had before and stepped partly into the stage light.Years later, he returned to the theater as an audience member and finally realized something unsettling. She had never been there for him alone.#Ghosts #HauntedTheater #ParanormalEncounters #TheaterGhost #GhostSightings #SpiritActivity #HauntedPlaces #SupernaturalStories #StageGhostsLove real ghost stories? At first, the strange things in the house seemed random. A mug slid across the counter, doors slammed, footsteps moved through empty rooms, and objects shifted when no one was near them. Then Tara and Brooke noticed something unsettling. The activity always seemed to get worse when Megan was overwhelmed. When she was stressed about work, fighting with her boyfriend, or dealing with another setback, the house reacted. When she left town, everything stopped. And when her life finally became calmer, the activity faded with it.Was Megan somehow causing the disturbances without realizing it, like the center of a poltergeist case? On a past Bittersweet Moment, Tiffany remembered accidently smearing a bit of lipstick on the doorframe of one of the buildings she lived in her first months in Rome, and how that red streak is still there, 18 years later. And how, somehow, every time she sees it, it reminds her of her earliest days in Rome, almost an "I was here" moment. This episode from our archive is Inspired by this idea. Katy and Tiffany talk about other moments in their life that they have felt a similar sensation, how common that might be, and why we sometimes feel the need to leave parts of ourselves behind when we leave a place. ***The Bittersweet Life podcast has been on the air for an impressive 10+ years! After nearly a decade of paranormal investigations, she had developed one habit she never skipped. Before leaving a location, she would perform a simple cleansing ritual and make it clear that nothing there was allowed to follow her home. She wasn't even sure she believed the ritual actually protected her. She just knew she had done it after dozens of investigations without ever experiencing anything unusual in her own house. Then, after a long night investigating an abandoned nursing home, she forgot.A few days later, she heard three slow footsteps in her hallway, followed by a single knock. It was the exact same pattern they had heard inside the nursing home. And suddenly, the ritual she had always treated as a precaution didn't seem quite so unnecessary. #Ghosts #ParanormalEncounters #SpiritAttachment #GhostHunting #HauntedPlaces #ParanormalActivity #SpiritActivity #Supernatural #FollowedHome Love real ghost stories? None of the five women went in expecting much, and Nikki certainly didn't expect anything there to know something deeply personal about her. Then a voice from the hallway called her by a childhood nickname she hadn't used in years. After they left, the strange activity didn't stay behind. Knocking began in their homes, whispers came from empty rooms, and one by one, all five women experienced something they couldn't easily explain. The woman who led the séance eventually asked them to come back—not to make contact again, but to end whatever had started. What answered them the second time was even more unsettling. Get ready to lose some sleep with Walter Sterling on The Other Side of Midnight! In this episode, teenage journalist Wyatt Sharp breaks down his recent high-profile interviews with Hunter Biden and fitness icon Jillian Michaels, and exposes an ego-driven feud between a local sheriff and the FBI. Next, Hollywood insider Mattias Boom Boom Hollywood drops by to analyze Zendaya's massive box office numbers, the nerdy world of IMAX film formats, and the addictively dramatic, rich-kid Amazon Prime saga Sterling Point. Walter also dives into a devastating Reno wildfire, serves up a wild chemical-spray conspiracy about Canadian forests, rants about his ignored invitations to dream guests, and closes the night with a late-night chat with a retired military chaplain turned Catholic priest to discuss whether you can buy holy water.
Step into the urban campfire of late-night radio with host Walter Sterling on The Other Side of Midnight. In this mind-bending hour, Walter and his callers dive deep into a wild mix of fringe theories, cover-ups, and corporate plots. From the disappearance of ancient healing church bells and the lost civilization of Tartaria, to AI-driven human elimination plans and World Trade Center gold bar secrets, this episode tackles the weirdest corners of history. Along the way, Walter explores how standardized education was designed to build workers rather than thinkers, the legacy of ESPN founder Bill Rasmusen, and the hilarious, chaotic differences between how boys and girls pack for college dorms. It's a late-night journey where the truth is stranger than fiction and every conspiracy is just another campfire story waiting to be told.
Late-night radio icon Walter Sterling takes us deep into the weird, wild, and deeply suspicious in this jam-packed hour of The Other Side of Midnight.First, metaphysicist and UFO/Bigfoot investigator Dave Scott breaks down the government mismanagement behind Canada's drying forests and 'bureaucracy fires'. He also shares incredible boots-on-the-ground updates from his British Columbia Sasquatch site, detailing a fresh 13-inch footprint and a trail camera that was literally chewed on by a curious black bear
Welcome to The Other Side of Midnight with Walter Sterling, the ultimate late-night sanctuary for the Midnight Misfits. In this episode, we dive deep into the highly anticipated Lindsay Clancy verdict, analyzing the psychiatric overmedication defense, the "three ghosts" of legal precedent, and why TikTok sleuths have turned their sights on her husband's Apple Watch. But because it's Walter, we quickly pivot to the life-and-death rules of ordering too much mayonnaise at a Jewish deli, the sheer horror of motion-sensor lights at Aldi, and why you should never let a supermarket force you into self-bagging.Round out the hour with jaw-dropping stories from the road—including a trucker racing a parallel tornado while hauling horses on I-95 and a retired NYPD detective sifting through cremated ashes to solve a cold-case murder—along with Walter's bewildered musings on the sudden avalanche of erectile dysfunction commercials. It's chaotic, hilarious, and the best kind of late-night radio bullfight

Five longtime friends rented a cabin at the lake for a weekend of fishing, poker, and catching up. The place was secluded, but not remote, and none of them expected anything stranger than a raccoon on the porch or a deer wandering through the trees after dark. Then the noises started.Something moved around the cabin, knocked against the windows, and watched from the edge of the woods. They could explain most of it away as wildlife, and for a while, that was enough. What they could not explain was the voice that came from somewhere near the lake and called Travis by name. All five men heard it.And every one of them agreed that it sounded exactly like Dan, who was sitting inside the cabin with them.#Paranormal #GhostStories #Mimic #MimicVoice #CabinInTheWoods #Unexplained #ParanormalEncounter #CreepyStories #SomethingInTheWoods #HauntedCabin #HauntingsLove real ghost stories? Working alone in an old church during the week was supposed to be peaceful. Then she began hearing footsteps in the empty sanctuary. After that came the humming. The creak of wooden pews. Quiet voices behind closed doors. Even what sounded like someone delivering a sermon when she knew she was the only person in the building. At first, she blamed the acoustics and the quirks of a century-old structure. Then a longtime member told her something she never forgot. Maybe the church wasn't haunted. Maybe it remembered. And one night, long after everyone had gone home, she finally heard what generations of people before her had quietly described.#Paranormal #GhostStories #HauntedChurch #ResidualHaunting #HauntedHistory #Unexplained #ParanormalStories #GhostlyVoices #HistoricHaunting #DisembodiedVoices #HauntingsLove real ghost stories? And before long, strange little things began happening around the room. At first, she could explain them away. Then, on one particularly difficult night, the doll fell onto her in a way that didn't make sense. Another toy suddenly spoke a phrase it had never used before. And after she fled the room, she heard something moving above her.Years later, she would learn there was a name for dolls some people believe can hold something more than stuffing and porcelain. But was that really what her mother had given her that Christmas? #RealGhostStories #HauntedDoll #PorcelainDoll #Paranormal #GhostStories #TrueGhostStories #VesselDoll #Unexplained #ChildhoodHaunting #CreepyDolls Love real ghost stories?
