Lore Watch this week explores three questions sent in by our listeners, all ending in answers we may see as we go forward into Midnight. First, they talk about the different types of magic -- specifically that Warlock magic stems from the Titans -- and why that knowledge didn't knock the socks clean off the Kirin Tor. Or maybe Xal'atath literally knocking those socks off also knocked some sense into them, and that's where we'll see them in Midnight. Then, we turn to the cry of Azeroth we saw in the teaser trailer for The War Within -- where did Anduin and Thrall go, by the way? Did everyone really hear the cries of Azeroth, or was that something else? Finally, on a scale from one to ten, just how elfy an expansion is Midnight going to be? Because we suspect pretty elfy (and when we say "pretty elfy" we're not just talking about Kael'thas). As always, the answers to the questions posed lead to some interesting places. If you enjoy the show, please support us on Patreon, where you can get these episodes early and ad-free! When Tiffany's husband Claudio takes a photo with the karate instructor of his youth, Tiffany realizes that by being an expat, it can sometimes feel like her life has no continuity. She can't revisit old teachers and places. She never unexpectedly stumbles upon people and objects from her childhood, and maintaining relationships longterm takes extra effort. Is this just one of the side effects of moving abroad indefinitely? How important is a sense of continuity when it comes to life? Hosts Katy Sewall and Tiffany Parks explore the idea on this episode from our archives. ***The Bittersweet Life podcast has been on the air for an impressive 10+ years! In order to help newer listeners discover some of our earlier episodes, every Friday we are now airing an episode from our vast archives! Season 13 (!!!) starts with all-new episodes Monday September 8th. See you then! ***Katy's sister Dana has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 agressive brain cancer.

There is so much info from gamescom that it blots out the sun. So FAZ will discuss the Midnight details in the shade.
Midnight and Gamescom were the core topic of this week's Blizzard Watch Podcast. A big part of the discussion centered on just how odd -- and, frankly, frustrating -- the way the information disseminated throughout the convention. Events posted late, misinformation, and illogical choices plagued the newest expansion's reveal. We're still excited for Player Housing, but there could be more we're excited about just waiting on some cutting room floor. But, as they note, the beta is coming soon -- you can sign up now, as a matter of fact. We discussed the new Demon Hunter spec, the new battleground, and UI improvements which may or may not topple BigWigs after 20 long years (though we doubt it a little).Plus, our writer Flan joined the crew to talk about his experiences on the Legion Remix PTR. Here is an audio preview of one of the new shows coming out on our Strange Midnight AV YouTube channel. Originally broadcast between 1977 and 1986 on UK regional television, "Whispering Winnie" was billed as a gentle bedtime storytelling series for children. The premise? A young girl in a painted portrait would “come to life” and whisper fairytale bedtime stories to the viewer. But the tales were never quite right.
On The Other Side of Midnight, Lionel starts off the show talking about the charges brought against Shiloh Hendrix, a woman who called an autistic child the N-word. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

A scientist invents a method to send someone's consciousness back in time so they can inhabit another person's body. In a bold attempt, the protagonist goes back to the night of Lincoln's assassination—but ends up inhabiting the mind of John Wilkes Booth.
