Die drei Grundlagen des geschmeidigen Sitzes seien o  Kein Knick in der Hüfteo  Unabhängige Händeo  Ein aufrechter, stabiler OberkörperNicht jeder hat eine Reithalle mit Spiegeln. Deshalb empfiehlt Sibylle einfache Selbstchecks:1. Sitzbeinhöcker wahrnehmenSitzt du gleichmäßig auf beiden Seiten?Oder „hängst“ du auf einer Seite?Viele Reiter fühlten links mehr Druck auf den Sitzbeinhöckern oder Po-Backen, weil sie tatsächlich mit den Oberkörper nach rechts kippen. Das Gefühl kann man übrigens gut im Stehen testen: wenn man sich vermehrt auf das linke Bein stellt,bewegt sich der Oberkörper nach rechts. 2. Bügelkontakt prüfenIst der Druck auf beiden Füßen gleich?Oder zieht ein Bein mehr hoch?Die Schiefe entsteht oft von oben, nicht im Bein!Da das Gehirn immer in seiner gewohnten Schiefe bleiben will, muss man es austricksen, sprich die Schiefe bewusst wahrnehmen, bewusst korrigieren und dann nochmals überprüfen.Der Gamechanger sei hier das Becken, das man sich wie eine Schale  mit Flüssigkeit vorstellen sollte: Kippt sie nach vorne, fließt sie Flüssigkeit vorne raus. Kippt die Schüssel nach hinten, verliere ich sie hinten. Optimal wäre es, die Schüssel minimal nach vorne zu kippen.Auch für die Sitzbeinhöcker hat sie ein Bild: Sitzbeinhöcker -Taschenlampen, die leicht nach vorne unten leuchten. Das ermöglicht Mitschwingen im Trab und Galopp.Wichtig sei, dass die Bewegung aus den Hüftgelenken kommt und nicht aus dem Oberkörper. Im Zentrum steht Carla Diaz, die, tief besorgt um das Leben ihrer Tochter Malin, als frühere Kollegin von Bond an den Ex-Polizisten Alexander Born herantritt. Zwei junge Frauen, die der Sekte Cernunnos angehörten, wurden brutal ermordet aufgefunden, und Carla befürchtet, dass auch Malin das nächste Opfer sein könnte. Die düstere Atmosphäre wird durch die Handlungsorte untermalt; das Setting in den Ardennen, wo ein ehemaliges Sanatorium als Hauptquartier der Sekte dient, steigert die Spannung und gibt dem Leser das Gefühl, Teil dieser bedrohlichen Welt zu sein. Mein persönlicher Eindruck von Geschkes Stil ist durchweg positiv. Die komplexe Beziehung zwischen den Charakteren und die psychologischen Elemente der Sekte werden geschickt verwoben, während die Erzählung durch temporeiche Wendungen begeistert. Als Borns Rückholmission misslingt, wird das Geschehen noch vielschichtiger, da Born sich dazu entschließt, den Kriminellen André Wolkow um Hilfe zu bitten. Die Spannung steigt, als sich Wolkow mit einem jungen Killer zusammen tut, der sich als Russlanddeutscher in die Sekte einschleicht. Dabei wird die Erzählung durch doppelte Spiele und persönliche Konflikte der Charaktere bereichert. Wolkows Handlungen scheinen nicht nur aus Altruismus motiviert zu sein, da er seine eigenen Interessen verfolgt und dadurch das Verhältnis zu Born weiter kompliziert. Der Thriller hält den Leser auf Trab mit brutalen Morden, die schockierende Details offenbaren, und zeichnet ein Bild der Inszenierung von Macht und Manipulation in Sekten. Ich habe das Gefühl, dass der Autor hier wichtige Themen anspricht, die sowohl spannend als auch nachdenklich stimmen. Trotz kleinerer konstruiert wirkender Elemente kann ich das Buch als Pageturner empfehlen, da es immer wieder zu fesseln vermag und die Charaktere lebendig und nachvollziehbar sind. Abschließend teile ich meine Begeisterung für die Figuren und ihre Dynamik. Ich fühle mich bereichert durch die Erlebnisse mit Alexander Born und Carla Diaz und bin gespannt, welche weiteren Geschichten Linus Geschke in Zukunft erzählen wird. "Engelsgrund" ist ein Buch, das nicht nur spannend ist, sondern auch in anderen Ländern Aufmerksamkeit verdienen könnte. Ich empfehle jedem, einfach in die Geschichte einzutauchen und sich von den fesselnden Charakteren und der packenden Handlung mitreißen zu lassen.

Neben Takt und Rhythmus ist die Atmung  die Grundlage für Balance und Losgelassenheit und damit für gutes Reiten überhaupt, betont @MarvinVroomen, mobiler Trainer in klassischer Dressur. Mit der Atmung könne man gezielt Einfluss auf sein  Pferd nehmen  – oft sogar feiner als mit Bein oder Hand.Die Atmung sei die meist unterschätzte Reithilfe, die direkt auf den Sitz, die Spannung und generell die Balance und Losgelassen des Pferdes einwirkt. Das Grundprinzip lautet: Durch bewusstes Einatmen sich aufrichten, leichter werden und damit „vorwärts“ zu signalisieren. Durch tiefes Ausatmen macht man sich schwerer, beruhigt das Pferd beziehungsweise kann es durchparieren. Konkret kann man die Atmung bei Übergängen anwenden: Wenn man beispielsweise vom  Trab zum Schritt bewusst ausatmet und damit tiefer einsitzt, pariert das Pferd oft ohne Zügelhilfe durch.Um in die höhere Gangart Galopp zu wechseln würde man einatmen, sich so größer mache und Raum für Bewegung schaffen.Wie im Yoga unterscheidet nutzt man auch die Tiefe der Atmung und deren Wirkung: Brustatmung aktiviert,während Bauchatmung beruhigt.Wobei Reiten wie Tanzen sei, meint Marvin, „Du musst im Timing mit deinem Pferd sein.“ Die Atmung muss man möglichst gleichzeitig mit den Hilfen einsetzen, so können später können klassische Hilfen reduziert werden.Wenn man durch Luftanhalten oder flacher Atmung das Pferd aus dem Takt und Rhythmus bringt, dann rät Marvin zu zählen. Im Schritt und Trab bewusst bis vier zu zählen. Im Galopp kommt man etwa mit „Da-da-dam“ zurück in den Takt. Wichtig sei aber auch auf die Atmung des Pferdes zu achten. Etwa auf die Nüsternbewegung, auf die Atemfrequenz des Pferdes und auf das positive Abschnauben. Warnsignale sind schnelles „Pumpen“, ein Luft anhalten (Schildkröte) sowie angespannte Nüstern. In diesen Fällen heißt es Pause zu machen. Im Podcast-Gast AUF TRAB erklärt Horst, wie man mit Traininng sein Pferd im Winter präventiv gesund halten kann. „Müde machen" ist jedenfalls nie eine Lösung. Es geht um Schulterfreiheit durch richtiges Aufwärmen im „Bummeltempo" und um sinnvolles Longieren statt zu schleudern. Er warnt vor „Kaltstarts", also das Pferd im Winter unaufgewärmt auf der Koppel oder in der Halle rennen zu lassen. Ebenso wenig sei den Pferden mit „wandern" geholfen. Damit meint Horst, wenn man mit seinem Pferd nur spazieren geht, die Muskeln nicht trainiert und zu wenig galoppiert. Pferde hätten im Winter oftmals auch deshalb Schulterprobleme, weil die Besitzer die Eisen in der kalten Jahreszeit runterreißen, wo doch der Boden noch dazu im Winter härter ist . Das Gehen verursacht dann dem Pferd Schmerzen, das als Reaktion die Schulter hochzieht und fest macht. Ebenso sei zu beobachten, dass Pferde, die im Winter eine Decke tragen grundsätzlich öfter in der Schulter fest sind. Horst vermutet, dass die Decken vorne am Hals zu eng sitzen und einschnüren. Deshalb sind die Decken von Barockreitern am Hals extraweit. Für ein gesundes Winter-Training empfiehlt Horst Becker einen Stangenkreis bzw. Pentagon mit fünf bis sechs Stangen aufzulegen und das Pferd rund herum übertreten zu lassen. So erzeugt man eine Rotation im Pferderücken. Man kann die Schulter grundsätzlich gut über Biegungen öffnen. Auch das Fencing wie man es im Horsemanship kennt, hilft die Schulter zu öffnen: An der Bande - geritten oder am Boden - die Schulter wegtreiben statt an den Zügeln zu ziehen.
