In this episode of The FasterFreedom Show, Sam and Lucas tackle one of the biggest obstacles standing between people and financial freedom: the excuses that keep them from ever getting started. The guys break down the 10 most common reasons they hear from people who want to invest in real estate but never take action. From "I don't have enough money" and "the market is too expensive" to fears around debt, risk, and timing, they unpack each excuse and explain why these beliefs often hold people back far more than the actual challenges themselves.Drawing from years of experience helping investors buy their first properties, Sam and Lucas share the realities behind these concerns, where they come from, and how successful investors think differently. The conversation focuses on separating legitimate obstacles from limiting beliefs and providing practical ways to move forward, even when conditions aren't perfect. To close things out, they shift into sports and recap the NBA Finals, reacting to the New York Knicks capturing the championship. The guys break down the biggest moments from the series, what impressed them most, and their takeaways from the playoffs as a whole. 6.17.26, Kevin Sheehan responds to listeners' pushback on his harsh critique of Victor Wembanyama after this year's NBA playoff run.
Jeff Mans is in a World Cup state of mind this week as he wrestles with the idea of watching soccer while also being incredibly bored and distracted at the same time. So, he invented his own game inspired by the World Cup, in which he pits every wide receiver in the NFL against one another in a steel cage-like tournament decided by a simple math formula of his own creation. First, he finds the WRs on each team that he has the most interest in based on their current market price, then he puts them into a bracket sorted alphabetically by NFL team name. Mans rolls through each matchup explaining what he likes and dislikes about each player and whittles the field down to the final four, the championship matchup, and finally the lone victor of the 2026 World Cup of Wide Receivers. Jeff also hits on NFL news, the Knicks winning the NBA Finals, the Carolina Hurricanes winning the Stanley Cup, and the future of his SXM radio show. In Wednesday's edition of Hollywood's Headlines, the guys react to the massive television numbers generated by the Knicks' championship run, as ESPN and ABC delivered the most-watched NBA Finals since the 1990s, including the most-watched Game 5 since 1998. The conversation continues with more fallout from New York's championship celebration before shifting to hockey, where the Stanley Cup Final also posted huge ratings, becoming the most-watched Finals since 2019 and more than doubling last year's audience. The guys also discuss Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions expanding its portfolio by adding the World Series of Poker, and wrap up with the surprising news that Floyd Mayweather is facing theft and fraud allegations tied to the purchase of a luxury watch using a face check—a shocking development given the enormous wealth he has accumulated throughout his legendary boxing career.
Hour 2 opens with Lionel Messi continuing to amaze the soccer world after another hat trick for Argentina, prompting discussion about his greatness, longevity, and whether Inter Miami will ever see another player remotely comparable to him. Joe compares Messi's sustained dominance to Novak Djokovic, while the conversation shifts to other elite athletes who have passed through South Florida, including Tyreek Hill. The guys debate the balance between extraordinary talent and off-field concerns, comparing Hill to Antonio Brown and discussing how organizations evaluate players with complicated reputations. The hour also includes World Cup and University of Miami talk, plus a conversation about autograph seekers and where the line is crossed between passionate fans and opportunists. The hour wraps with Hollywood's Headlines, featuring record-setting NBA Finals and Stanley Cup ratings, fallout from the Knicks' championship celebration, Peyton Manning's Omaha Productions expanding into the World Series of Poker, and Floyd Mayweather facing legal trouble over the purchase of a luxury watch.
Hour 1 opens with World Cup discussion and a look at Lionel Messi continuing to defy age with a hat trick performance for Argentina, before shifting to the Marlins, who fall once again to the Phillies as their struggles continue. The focus then moves to the NBA, where Giannis Antetokounmpo trade rumors continue to dominate headlines, with speculation narrowing to Miami or Boston as potential landing spots. The guys debate how Giannis is handling the situation differently than other stars who have forced their way out, suggesting he's trying to protect his image by staying quiet rather than applying public pressure on Milwaukee. The conversation also explores what the Bucks are demanding from the Heat, Jaylen Brown's potential involvement in any deal, and whether Boston or Miami can realistically win a bidding war. From there, they break down Victor Wembanyama's physical style of play and whether it crosses the line, while also touching on strong NBA Finals viewership numbers and reflecting on Michael Jordan's unmatched global appeal during the 90s.
The Spurs came up short in the NBA Finals, but their future remains incredibly bright. We discuss what Victor Wembanyama can learn from this playoff run and what San Antonio's future looks like after reaching the Finals.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

(26:29-41:03) – Former Dreyer & Reinbold IndyCar driver, Sage Karam, joins Jake Query to remember Dennis Reinbold following his passing over the weekend. Sage considered him as a second father in his life because of the things that he did for Sage in his driving career. They also discuss how cool it would be if he could run the Indy 500 next year in his honor because of the belief that he had in Karam as a driver. (41:03-47:38) – Jake Query concludes the first hour of the show by asking Eddie as to how he’s feeling so far about the show time change. Plus, Jake teases something that Stephanie White had to say following Saturday’s win over the Connecticut Sun. (47:38-1:14:14) – Hour number two of Query & Company starts with Jake Query further discussing all of the “reports” and microanalysis that goes on with Caitlin Clark and Stephanie White. Following Saturday’s win, Indiana’s head coach questioned what today’s journalism is about. Jake reacts and weighs in on the issue. Finally, he talks briefly about the NBA Finals. (1:10:32-1:32:55) – The IndyStar’s Dustin Dopirak joins Query & Company to evaluate what the Indiana Pacers could do this off-season to add the final piece to the roster in attempt to win the NBA Finals. Does it make sense for the Pacers to trade for Trey Murphy III? Will they trade back into the second-round of the NBA Draft? Should the Knicks winning the NBA Finals provide optimism for the Pacers? (1:32:55-1:38:56) – Hour number two of Query & Company concludes with Jake explaining how the clock is ticking for him even more after attending a wedding reception for Amp Harris on Friday night. (1:38:56-2:05:54) – The Dean, Mike Chappell, from FOX59 & CBS4 joins the show to discuss how much optimism he has in whether the Indianapolis Colts can re-capture their success from the first eight weeks of last season. Jake asks Mike as to what his biggest questions are heading into training camp and if the timeline for Alec Pierce’s recovery from his ankle surgery caught him off guard. Finally, they dive into whether the Colts could put themselves in a predicament if Anthony Richardson performs well in the pre-season. (2:05:54-2:19:54) – With the FIFA World Cup taking place across the United States, Jake has started to see a lot of similar phrased tweets from people sharing their experiences at various restaurants or places to eat. Two tweets stood out because they made stops in Indiana. Are they real people, or are they bots? (2:19:54-2:26:08) – The show closes out with Jake and Eddie selecting a winner for today’s Dave Matthews Band ticket giveaway by reading off some of their favorite responses on the text line and previewing the rest of the day on The Fan!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
