As a stylist, Hitchcock crisscrossed the globe and worked with many notable clients such as Playboy Magazine, Lands' End, Murad, Banana Republic, and Galore Magazine to name a few. This is a fact-filled podcast where Hitchcock details the trials and tribulations she continues to encounter in the so-called “plus-size” fashion sector.  Even with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs in place throughout the industry, in the often cryptic world of fashion, discrimination still reigns.However, Hitchcock conquered her foes and critics and truly succeeded as a fashion entrepreneur. Hitchcock keeps listeners engaged as the 14-year fashion veteran recounts the early days of size inclusion, its present standing, and its market trajectory. She also explains why she is so passionate about advocating for fat, pregnant women, why BMI should be scrapped completely, why so many people are upset about the HSE cessation of water births on the public system, and why she is putting together a book with tips for pregnant people in bigger bodies and empowering birth stories written by fat women. When it comes to seasons, summer and I have a complicated relationship. On the one hand, the weather is lovely, my garden is blooming, and every day seems like a good day for an ice cream cone. Flying is such a nightmare these days - for all people, actually. But, let me tell you... when you are a person of size at the airport or getting on to an airplane you have never seen so much eye rolling, side eye and so much sighing from the people aroud you.  I know some people will say I am exagerrating. I am not. In fact, if anytihng, it is probably 100 times worse since I am a seasoned fat person and I have a thick skin from years and years of being in a fat body. I highly recommend a great group on Facebook called "Flying While Fat" that was created by Stacy Bias.  Please also google her "Flying While Fat" documentary. But, this podcast is meant to give you true and actionable tips for flying while fat. Just to qualify things - I am visibly fat. I am 57" tall. I wear a size 24. 26. 28  pant if you know women's clothing sizes. My butt is WAY bigger then 17" wide. (Most airline seats are 17" wide, FYI.)  And here is a blog I wrote about "Flying While Fat."

Ms. Camay holds a National Lifetime Title in Plus Size Pageantry, being crowned for her year of service, coaching and mentoring women across the country, teaching them to love themselves and love their bodies. There were many moments in Ms. Camay’s pageant journey to celebrate, however, there were more moments of heartbreak and pain, hurt and disappointment, even moments of public defamation, however, she never allowed any of that to defeat her. She continued on her journey of making a difference in the world, using all of the tests in pageantry as her testimony to other women who may have experienced similar challenges. “I have always been very confident and always had a positive self-image.
