Last week, you heard Part 1 of William Gray's story. In October of 2022, 39-year-old William Gray disappeared from his home in Sweeny, Texas, leaving behind questions that remain unanswered more than three years later. In Part 1, we explored Will's life, the mounting tension in his marriage, the events leading up to the day he vanished, and the early stages of the investigation.In the months before his disappearance, Will had been injured at work and underwent back surgery in September 2022. According to his sister, Beverly, he told her that once he was cleared to return to work, he planned to retain an attorney and file for divorce. He wanted to make sure he had everything in place before taking that step.At the time, Will continued living on the property he shared with his wife because he didn't want to leave his young son behind. Beverly said he told her he had been sleeping in a camper on an adjoining property and that he was documenting what was happening around him. He said he had installed cameras and was backing up the data in multiple locations.The last known contact with Will was on October 17, 2022. His wife said he was picked up from the property in a truck, though descriptions of that vehicle have varied and, as far as Beverly knows, a driver has never been identified. Will's phone was left behind, cutting off a key digital trail.In the days that followed, Beverly reported him missing to the Brazoria County Sheriff's Office. Beverly said she was surprised to learn that investigators reported finding no digital evidence, despite what Will had told her about the steps he was taking to preserve everything. He's a consummate professional and leaves no stone unturned in his hunt for being the best athlete he can be. Hearing Sweendog talk through how he prepares for every single race, and the level of detail with which he plans every gel, every corner, every meter of road covered really opened my eyes as to how hard he works.   Up until this point, Harry's cut his teeth in the bunch riding as a domestique; turning himself inside out for team mates to great success - pulling guys like Ben Healy to monument podiums and the Yellow Jersey at the Tour de France. But, after a conversation with his team boss Jonathan Vaughters, Harry's finding the confidence to ride for himself and show how strong he can be. As JV put it, ‘being 10% more of an arsehole'.   Not long after we recorded, Harry's efforts were rewarded with an absolutely stellar podium finish at the Tour Down Under - his first World Tour GC Podium. The Double H, which until recently transported crude oil, runs only to eastern Wyoming, so how will NGLs on the pipeline — renamed Hiland Express — get from there to Conway, KS; Mont Belvieu, TX; and maybe Sweeny, TX, too? In some instances going back over a decade in the case of the Antarctica pyramid. Due to its remoteness and extreme environment, few ever venture there with few exceptions for science or military projects. Several countries have territorial claims in the ice; others have research stations. It is the perfect location to set a science fiction story, a tale of desolation and horror, or a theory of UFOs and lost civilization. In 1936 H.P. Lovecraft published “At he Mountains of Madness”; two years later in 1938 a book called “Who Goes There?” was published; that same year Neuschwabenland was explored by Germany; in 1951 “The Thing from Another World” was released, based on the 1938 book, which lead to the 1982 movie “The Thing”; In 1998 The X Files movie released; and in 2008 a mocking documentary was published online with images that became source material for Antarctica conspiracy theories. Those theories expanded after Lake Vostok produced evidence of 3,500 different species, resulting in leading authorities visiting the icy world; this story was later substituted with authorities traveling to see the UFO in ice, the same one from that mocking documentary. Contributor: Aaron Lessen, MD Educational Pearls: How fast does cellulitis recover? A recent prospective cohort study took a look at this question. The study included 300 adults with cellulitis (excluding those with peri-orbital cellulitis or abscesses) in two emergency departments in Queensland, Australia. They collected data from initial and follow-up surveys at 3, 7, and 14 days, and compared clinician and patient assessments at day 14. Improvement was fastest between day 0 and day 3, with gradual progress thereafter. At day 14, many still had skin redness and swelling, though warmth had often resolved. Clinicians reported higher cure rates than patients (85.8% vs. 52.8%). Conclusion: Cellulitis symptoms improve quickly at first but continue to linger for many patients. Patients and doctors often have different views on when cellulitis is fully cured. How should we counsel patients? Even on antibiotics, the margins of the cellulitis may continue to spread a small amount. Skin warmth should be the first symptom to go away. It takes time to get better.
