Much of the content,” writes Fang, “was quietly funded by an elusive group of Democratic billionaires and major donors in an arrangement designed to conceal the payments from voters.”Fang may be familiar to listeners from a kerfuffle in summer 2020, when his colleagues at The Intercept turned on him publicly after he tweeted about riots amid the George Floyd moment. This is true of the Looksmaxxing social media trend that's been gaining more and more currency among teen boys. The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 2: According to a new poll from Redfield & Wilton Strategies, 18% of voters would significantly consider casting their ballot for a presidential candidate endorsed by singer Taylor Swift. In 2020, Swift accused Donald Trump of “stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism” and vowed to vote him out of office. According to a report from Rebecca Kern of Politico, pro-Biden PACs like Priorities USA have been paying TikTok influencers to push messaging friendly towards President Joe Biden's reelection efforts. Interestingly, TikTok's official policy is to ban political advertising—so why are these ads permitted to run? In a video that has gone viral, TikTok influencer Trevor Abney alleges that a political group offered him $50,000 to post a video glorifying the Biden Administration's economy. You can ready Kern's article here: https://www.politico.com/news/2024/01/23/biden-campaign-social-media-influencers-00136389 The New York Times writes: “As former President Donald J. Trump speeds toward the Republican nomination, President Biden is moving quickly to pump energy into his re-election bid, kicking off what is likely to be an ugly, dispiriting and historically long slog to November between two unpopular nominees… Biden aides are drafting wish lists of potential surrogates, including elected officials, social media influencers and the endorsement of their wildest dreams: the global superstar Taylor Swift.” You can read the full article from Reid J. Epstein, Lisa Lerer, Katie Glueck, and Katie Rogers here: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/01/29/us/politics/biden-trump-election-taylor-swift.html In her Wall Street Journal editorial, Mary Anastasia O'Grady documents how Canadian officials have attempted to silence University of Toronto professor emeritus Dr. Jordan Peterson by threatening to remove his clinical license. O'Grady writes: “If only Mr. Peterson's treatment were an exception to the administrative state's modus operandi. In 2018 the law societies of Ontario and British Columbia refused to credential Trinity Western University's law school because the university makes students take a vow not to engage in sex outside marriage, traditionally defined. This would seem to be a matter of religious freedom. But the court said the regulator was acting in the public interest.” You can read the full article here: https://www.wsj.com/articles/canada-vs-jordan-peterson-free-speech-psychology-reeducation-d084d7ab?mod=opinion_lead_pos9 While speaking at a campaign rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said that if the U.S. were ever attacked by a foreign enemy, he is not certain North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) would help the country respond or recover.

With TikTok's incredible growth, we've seen the marketing landscape upended by a flood of rising influencers. With this change, big and small companies have been scrambling to learn how to best promote their products in the most effective way possible. As they've done their research on influencer marketing, they've also asked themselves if they should even bother about it at all. Should your brand use TikTok influencers to promote your products? Are they truly effective in capturing the attention of young people globally, or are firms better off investing resources elsewhere? In this article, I'll seek to answer those questions and more. I believe TikTok's meteoric rise presents an incredible opportunity for brands to connect with audiences more deeply than ever before. As the consuming habits of younger generations rewrite the advertising playbook, TikTok influencers will prove to be a vital tool in your effort to build and maintain relevance. Why? Read on, and I'll tell you. What is TikTok? Before we go further, let's talk about TikTok – what it is and where it came from. First, please note that there are two versions of TikTok: Douyin (the Chinese version) and TikTok (the international counterpart). TikTok/Douyin is a video-sharing app that began its life in China, created by a little-known startup called ByteDance. From the beginning, ByteDance CEO Zhang Yiming was laser-focused on international expansion to maximize the platform's growth – a move met with great success. In late 2017, TikTok acquired Musical.ly for one billion dollars and merged the two apps. Following this acquisition, TikTok hit critical mass and has since experienced unprecedented growth and, in 2021, surpassed Google in popularity. As they say, the rest is history. What is TikTok used for? Initially, TikTok was mostly centered around the same kind of content that Musical.ly was – homemade music videos of young, amateur fans singing and dancing to their favorite tracks. However, the range of content on the app has drastically expanded to include pretty much everything. These days, it has about the same content range as YouTube while surpassing YouTube in watch time. It's elementary to make a video on TikTok – adding to the platform's attractiveness. I published a video on TikTok that received over 1.4 million views. But, here's the kicker: it only took me about ten seconds to record and publish it. Who uses TikTok? TikTok's demographics skewer very strongly towards youth. So if you're thinking about marketing your product on TikTok, make sure it's something that appeals to Generation Y and Z youngsters. TikTok vs. Other Social Media Due to its unique structure, TikTok has blown past its established competitors in recent years. It's also been a boon for marketers, who have found that TikTok experiences phenomenal engagement – even compared to other major social platforms. Neuro-Insight – a neural marketing and analytics company – recently completed a study involving 57 respondents aged 18-35. The verdict was that TikTok drives incredible engagement among users, compared to established forms of advertising. Their study found that TikTok's videos are hyper-relevant to the users, resulting in an incredible approach 44% higher than the social media average (in this case, “approach” is basically how much the subject liked the content served to them). The engagement was terrific, too: 15% higher than the social media average. This study is fantastic news to advertisers who can rely on TikTok to serve their content to only the most relevant users possible. On TikTok, your content (both paid and organic) is much more likely to reach consumers who care about it versus other platforms. Moreover, this engagement effect can compound the authority of influencers established in their niches. What is Influencer Marketing? Influencer marketing is the art of paying influencers – people with a large social media following – to promote your products. Ideally, your targe...
Just like famous celebrities, TikTok Influencers tend to get all the attention and perks from having a large following. But truth be told, you can't be a successful influencer without having moderators. A good moderator can not only help control the communication with followers, but he/she can also help to grow your audience. Listen to what one moderator has to say about his position.

Have you ever wondered what it takes to build an audience, and then a business using TikTok? The fact is that the idea of what a social media influencer is today, is quite different to the early days of influencers and the path to building a business based off you, your content and your personality is available to everyone. But there is some secret sauce and that's what we're going to learn more about in today's episode. Known as ‘That British Girl', Jordana Grace is a Comedy Content Strategist. She's a writer, speaker, comedian and amateur croissant connoisseur. She continually pursues her love of making people laugh, spending her days highly caffeinated creating comedic masterpieces for various brands and charities through her own company. She is also incredibly humble. On TikTok, her series ‘Things they should tell you before coming to Australia' has become an international hit with tourists and Aussies alike. And even created a course on ‘How to move to Australia', to help people around the world move to paradise. The Australian public has embraced her dry British humour with open arms, even though she keeps questioning their ways. As that British girl in Australia, she's living her best life. Whether that's looking for a husband without a mullet (dramatically decreasing the list of potential Aussie suitors) or searching for that perfect croissant – it's safe to say she's made a home down under.
In recent news a TikTok artist named Tyler Shaw was complaining at a conference about not making a dime from TickTock after his post got 2.5 billion views. A spokes person for TikTok Canada quickly chimed in explaining that TikTok pays the rights holders of all content being seen on the platform and Shaw's reinterpretation of artist Gayles smash hit ‘ABCDEFU' went viral generating payment to the label and publisher of the original song. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/ava-live-radio/message

On an exciting and action-packed Friday Afternoon episode of The Charlie Kirk Show, a dark side of The Biden White House's youth outreach program is unearthed. Charlie walks through how The Regime is using TikTok "Influencers" as pawns in their latest attempt to cripple our nation from within, as highlighted in a new article from the Daily Caller, authored by a TPUSA alumnus, Chrissy Clark. Next, he's joined by Author and friend of the show, J.D. Vance whose campaign to become the next Senator from the State of Ohio is shaping up to be one of the most-watched primary campaigns this election cycle. They talk about how to defeat Big Tech and take down The Regime's Narrative Industrial Complex as well as what it means to be a true conservative in today's GOP. Charlie and J.D. also touch on the invasion happening at our Southern Border and how it impacts every state in the union, especially J.D.'s home in Ohio, as well as the ongoing debate surrounding Disney, Trans-Anarchy, and 'Groomers' — driving home why it is a moral imperative to send conservatives with the spine, intellect, and willpower to Washington DC so we all have a fighting chance at taking back our country from the Radical, Marxist Left. Jill and Jenna are two sisters on a journey, advocating for gut health and sustainable lifestyles. After becoming a three-time All-American softball player, Jill started experiencing IBS symptoms. Countless tests and doctor's visits later, she was diagnosed as “healthy.” Several years later, after seeing a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, her life completely transformed, and she uses her experience to help others on their journeys to optimal gut health. Jenna's friends would've described her as happy go lucky. She was active and seemed perfectly healthy. Behind-the-scenes, she was in and out of doctors offices, therapy sessions, and more. She had been active in sports despite struggling with scoliosis. In recent years, she has struggled to get her anxiety under control. Today, after embracing holistic medicine, she is pursuing her passion as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. They tell the story of their grandmother's journey with Alzheimer's and how that drove their health mission. “I'm really passionate on the difference between being fit and being healthy,” they add. “We want to feel good.” “We grew up with the media portraying skinny bodies as the ideal look.” With the media's overwhelming push for fitness over health, many people fall into the trap of trying to look a certain way, even if it's detrimental to their health. Diet, lifestyle, and supplements are an important combination. There are things that can generally be done to minimize gut problems: stress management, exercise, therapy, sunlight, and prioritizing good sleep. Ways to get good sleep include reducing screen time and blue light, meal portion control before bed, regulating blood sugar, and journaling. In their words: “The body always wants to heal. You have to give it what it wants. If you don't feel good, make adjustments. You have to be your own advocate. No one is coming to save you,” says Jenna. “Be brutally honest with yourself and how you're feeling. Don't make every change in one day. Be really picky as to what's trendy and what's really going to help you,” Jill adds. Jill and Jenna share their stories of health struggles and healing, and they talk about the many ways in which people can listen to their bodies to make better choices for their own health, including: ● Making the important distinction between fitness and health. ● Some general ways to manage gut problems. ● Being aware of how the media adds to the prevalence of health problems. ● Managing sleep in order to improve general health and wellbeing. ● Making good gut health decisions to boost your mental health. This week we take a look at a recent phenomenon hitting young girls in several countries across the world. The girls that are presenting with these uncommon physical tics all have one thing in common: TikTok. Specifically they are all following Tourette's TikTok Influencers. Also, England makes a big move by moving vapes into the prescription drug list for those looking to quit smoking. The queen would be turning in her grave. Wait.. not yet? We'll see. Finally, when it comes to oral sex, don't blow up your partner like a balloon animal. It might kill them. Seriously.

If you are not one who frequents TikTok, this post may not make sense. However, if you've been on TikTok for any length of time, you know it can be like going into the Twilight Zone. It was actually during a recent visit to TikTok that I was compelled to write this post and release the most current episode on the Plant Based Eating for Health podcast show. Let me preface by saying that TikTok is a great way to unwind at the end of the day and watch funny animal videos, heartwarming rescue videos, vegan recipe videos, and success journeys of people turning their lives around. It's a harmless way, so I thought, to enjoy the perspective of men and women around the globe. Yet, every so often, a video pops up that you have to wonder, “What is the person thinking?” Granted, the question, in and of itself is judgmental, but as humans, we do tend to judge. Not many people escape the clutches of judgement. Some more than others. On this particular occasion, a video came in my thread of a woman who was morbidly, morbidly obese, sitting in front of dozens of cheeseburgers, tacos, fries, cupcakes, and several large plastic cups of soda. Now please know, this is not at all about fat shaming… at all. However, it is about questioning why someone would find it necessary to prop themselves up in front of the camera to literally stuff their face with untold amounts of unhealthy food. You can well imagine the comments people left about her gluttonous ways, to which her canned response was, “I feel great, and I am healthy.” Likely neither are true, but she stands by her statement. Sadly, young people are being influenced by these types of videos. Currently, there is a major health crisis going on. One that began long before the pandemic and shutdowns. There has been an increase in virtually every type of disease, obesity is an epidemic unto itself, contributing to many preventable diseases. Check out the full episode for more insights. TikTok is a massive social media platform, but if used correctly, can be used as a resource to make serious money via e-commerce. TikTok can be used as a search engine to find a product that can scale to 5-6 figures and a platform to find cheaper influencers to advertise your products. Google ads and Facebook ads are great ways to scale an e-commerce business, but as of this moment, TikTok is working wonders for Brenden Stein and the entrepreneurs he is mentoring through his program.Check out our new inspirational rugs to hook up your money-making headquarters at inspirugtion.com.Join the Value Tips Tuesday newsletter!Explore more on Get The Bag Life here:InstagramTikTokBlogYoutubeTwitterLinkedIn

We chat with our favorite TikTok comedian Mary-Alice Farina, whose spot-on impression of Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep doing a riff on Anna Wintour in 'The Devil Wears Prada,)' went viral in the summer of 2020.We talk the rise of comedy on social media in a COVID world, the value and role of social activism in comedy, dealing with trolls, and the new school of funny influencers who have provided some much needed levity in these strange times. The ways in which we get our news has changed, as I also get schooled on what exactly happened in Texas during the recent fluke snow storm, with Mary-Alice traveling cross country at the time, sharing via social media the unsettling experience of bouncing from hotel to hotel trying to find safety and food.We share our current obsessions that include the amazing Issa Rae and podcast fave, 'You're Wrong About.' Like the cool kids, I also finally 'get' TikTok.Special thanks to Mary-Alice Farina for use of her audio comedy clips in this show. You can follow Mary-Alice on Instagram @mafarina and TikTok at @itsmemafFollow along and let us know what you think on Instagram @haveyouheardpodcast. We have a great topic today: social influencers. They exercise growing cultural stature and marketing muscle in our society, but their influence campaigns occasionally bump up against advertising regulations. We will explore some of the rules designed to restrict how influencers go about touting brands, and discuss some issues that have arisen with the popular platform TikTok.Joseph Lawlor, a lawyer in Haynes and Boone's New York office, will guide today's discussion. Joe litigates high-stakes intellectual property, advertising, branding, media and First Amendment disputes. Joe frequently appears before the federal National Advertising Division, representing both advertisers and those challenging ads.
In this episode of Marketing Stories, we hear why brands should be looking to the successful influencers on TikTok for advice on reaching young audiences. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

It's safe to say that OnlyFans has gone mainstream. Beyonce name-checked the adult content subscription platform in the “Savage Remix," rapping, “On that Demon Time, she might start an OnlyFans.” Makeup artist James Charles joked that launching an account might cure his quarantine boredom. Last month, a tweet by a 22-year-old who bragged that she moved into her “dream house” thanks to OnlyFans earnings became an instant meme.OnlyFans, Influencers, And The Politics Of Selling Nudes During A Pandemichttps://www.elle.com/culture/a32459935/onlyfans-sex-work-influencers/Support KOP by:Sending a PayPal donation by going to https://www.paypal.me/kingofpodcasts Visiting KOP's special Amazon page at http://www.kingofamazon.comContact KOP for professional podcast production, imaging, and web design services at http://www.kingofpodcasts.comFollow KOP on Twitter or Facebook @kingofpodcastsSubscribe to KOP's other programs: Wrestling is Real Podcast and the Broadcasters Podcast.--- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/king-of-podcasts/messageSupport this podcast: https://anchor.fm/king-of-podcasts/support
