Today, author and disability diversity expert Ruth Rathblott offers a fresh perspective on how we understand and approach diversity in the workplace. She and Steve discuss how DEI can benefit both your culture and your business, and they give practical tips for leaders looking to build a more inclusive environment. Key Takeaways: 1. Leaders need to go first in being vulnerable and trustworthy. 2. Hiding is universal and exhausting, and people fear judgement and rejection for keeping secrets. 3. Unhiding can increase staff retention and engagement. 4. Leaders who adopt unhiding can be more innovative and creative, and better connect with millennials and Gen Z employees. 5. Unhiding is the key to connection, and it will make leaders stronger and drive business results in today's pandemic of loneliness. Tune in to hear more about: 1. Diversity, equity, and inclusion with a focus on disability inclusion (0:00) 2. Hiding and sharing personal aspects of one's identity in the workplace, with a focus on disability and diversity (5:08) 3. Leadership vulnerability and creating a safe space for teams to thrive (10:26) 4. The benefits of “unhiding” in the workplace, leading to increased trust, retention, and innovation (14:41) 5. Uncovering hidden potential through self-awareness and connection (18:49) Standout Quotes: 1. It's funny, I was talking to a woman recently. And she said, I love this concept of hiding, I love the work that you're doing, Ruth, and as a leader, I will never unhide to my team. And I said, okay, why? And she said, because I don't trust them. And it got me into the space of thinking, Steve, that either she has the wrong team, or she's the wrong leader. Because if we can't trust our teams, why are we in this business? Because that's our job is to build teams that trust us, that work with us, that get us to our next level in terms of a company. And so how do we create those spaces? And it's by leaders going first, and being vulnerable. - Ruth Rathblott 2. “There is a privilege in being able to unhide. I recognize that. In terms of being able, whether you're in the securities industry or in a different industry, because there are still in 2024 reasons that people would be fearful, and for good reason be fearful, of sharing parts of themselves, for retaliation, et cetera. I think where I've seen the benefit and the other side is the retention increases. People feel better about the place that they work, because they don't feel like they have to hide that part of themselves. They feel like this is a company who understands me, I'm going to stay longer. They feel more engaged with their peers, because they're not hiding.” - Ruth Rathblott 3. “I use the methods of therapy. I use the methods of journaling. I use the methods of meditation, to just take a pause in our lives to say, what is holding me back? Where am I hiding part of myself to fit in for fear of judgment and fear of rejection? Take that inventory or that audit on yourself. Acknowledge it.” - Ruth Rathblott Mentioned in this episode: ISF Analyst Insight Podcast Read the transcript of this episode Subscribe to the ISF Podcast wherever you listen to podcasts Connect with us on LinkedIn and Twitter From the Information Security Forum, the leading authority on cyber, information security, and risk management.

What if loneliness isn't the boogeyman we've made it out to be? What if in our pursuit of belonging we skipped self-worth and it has left us feeling inauthentic? What if God showed up in a hotel lobby, would you recognize God? Dr. Kelly Flanagan is an author, speaker, relationship coach, and licensed clinical psychologist. He writes regularly at drkellyflanagan.substack.com. Brooke welcomes special guest, Ruth Rathblott to discuss the concept of "unhiding." Ruth shares her personal experiences of living with a limb difference and the challenges she faced in accepting and embracing her disability. They discuss the different perspectives within the disability community regarding terminology and identity, highlighting the importance of individual experiences and the need for open dialogue. Ruth also reflects on her childhood, where she initially didn't see herself as different until a pivotal moment in high school. They delve into the impact of societal beauty standards on individuals with disabilities and the lack of representation in media. The conversation explores the journey of unhiding, which involves acknowledging, finding support, building a community, and ultimately sharing one's experiences to help others. KEY TAKEAWAYS Acknowledging and accepting one's disability or difference is an important step towards self-acceptance and building deeper connections with others. Finding a trusted person to share one's experiences with can provide support and help in the journey of unhiding. Building a community of individuals with shared experiences can create a sense of belonging and reduce feelings of loneliness. Sharing one's experiences and story can help others who may be going through similar struggles and create a sense of connection and understanding. Representation and visibility of diverse experiences, including disability, in media and society is crucial for breaking down stereotypes and promoting acceptance and inclusion. BEST MOMENTS "I think my hand has been my greatest struggle and it's my greatest gift because it also allows me to connect with people." "I think hiding, for me, is the problem. And it affects us in so many ways. And then unhiding becomes the bridge to connection, to self-acceptance, to leadership." "I think sometimes with disability, we don't allow for the questions... So why not be able to ask a question to me if you're wanting to build a relationship with me?" "I really welcome your prayers. They're not gonna do anything for the growth of this if that's what you're praying for, but I accept all prayers because there are things in my life that I wanna grow." EPISODE SUMMARY: Do you ever wonder why some individuals seem to reach their maximum potential while others struggle to find their purpose? This episode might just have the key. We're honored to host Dr. Kelly Flanagan, a personal growth and relationship coach, who takes us through his journey from a clinical psychologist to a viral blogger, to an appearance on the Today Show. His story is a testament to the power of 'knowing your why,' a concept he passionately champions. Kelly's insights emphasize the importance of authenticity, emotional awareness, and managing our reactions in our quest to become more self-aware and emotionally balanced. As a parent, do you ever feel overwhelmed by fears and expectations? We get real about this, digging into parenting's challenging aspects, examining how our anxieties and the messages we pass on to our children can shape their lives. Dr. Flanagan provides some thought-provoking perspectives on the necessity of supporting our kids in being themselves without making them feel like a disturbance. Furthermore, we look into how reclaiming our worthiness without doing can lead to profound healing and self-acceptance. Finally, we dive headfirst into the power of emotional reactions and the practice of 'squishing.' Dr. Flanagan expertly guides us through the process of managing emotional reactions, advising us to move through them rather than suppress them, and respond from a place of deeper wisdom. We also explore the transformative power of opening our hearts, recognizing when we unknowingly shut them off, and finding ways to reintegrate all aspects of ourselves. This episode is an enlightening journey into self-discovery, authenticity, and the importance of embracing our true selves. Sarah Zylstra, senior writer at the Gospel Coalition, recalls stories from an extensive podcast series she produced about stories from 9/11. Sarah talked to dozens of survivors about how they got through the day, what they did next, and the surprising number of church plants that popped up in Manhattan after the tragedy. For KJ Johnson (Director of the CS Lewis Institute, retired lt. colonel of the US Marine corp), 9/11 was the centerpiece of his career. He reflects with Brian on its impact on people who were serving in the military at the time, and how God later called him to ministry. Then, Kelly Flanagan explains how when our fragility is primed by events (like 9/11), our values shift to one singular value: appreciating time with the people that we have. In this week's episode of the Int-HER-rupt podcast, Linda Yates brings you an amazing, moving conversation with Ruth Rathblott. Rathblott is a best-selling author, a TEDx and expert keynote speaker, and an award-winning leader in the nonprofit sector. Together, they delve into what it is like to hide the differences that make you who you are, and how to escape a cycle of perfectionism and shame in your personal and professional life. Ruth Rathblott's Background Ruth was born with a limb difference, and wanting to fit in caused her to hide Hiding became a pattern in her life, but it was exhausting and lonely As a leader in business, a pattern of hiding and perfectionism caused her team to reflect that – her staff felt like they had to be perfect, and didn't always feel comfortable enough to be themselves 3 Tips for Coming Out of Hiding Understand the part of yourself that feels “different.” Ask yourself questions: what part of yourself are you trying to hide? What are the social and cultural ideas about it? How are they impacting you? Find a place to share your difference. This can be a friend, partner, therapist, or even a journal - start to create space in your life for the part of yourself you're hiding. Connect with other people. Once you start sharing, you may find a community that you relate can relate to, and who share some of your experiences and challenges. A community can offer you support, and you can also become a role model for others. Unhiding in Leadership Vulnerability starts with leadership - if leaders are willing to share some things about themselves, they model this behavior for others Empathy in the workplace can create a better, more informed work environment This is different from “spilling”, or oversharing - unhiding is sharing when you are in need of support “It starts with leadership. Leaders need to be the ones that model vulnerability. They need to be the ones that come with an understanding of their own differences and where they have felt different, that they need to share some parts of themselves that are vulnerable that they think may, in some ways, make them look weak, but it actually makes them look strong.” - Ruth Rathblott Resources Simple Abundance by Sarah Branbreathnach Ruth Rathblott on LinkedIn Ruth Rathblott on TEDx Singlehandedly book Ruthrathblott.com You can reach out to Linda and let her know how this episode relates to you. This week's guest is an exceptional storyteller - Dr. Kelly Flanagan. This father-to-three shares how he's rebelling against the dichotomy of providing for your family while pursuing your passions. How many men out there are not responding to a call that they have felt for a while out of fear? He has the desire to teach men that carrying the burden of providing for their family does not have to come at the expense of that other thing they're interested in. Dr. Kelly shares how this showed up in his own writing career and talks about his new book, The Unhiding of Elijah Campbell. We dive into the idea of giving a voice to the younger version of ourselves and how we've outgrown playing as adults. It's recognizing that actually, you might not even know what you don't know right now. But if you have faith in community, if you have faith that by putting yourselves around other people that have honorable intentions, like we say be a family man with a business, not a businessman with a family, that is a filter for what type of person we're looking to surround ourselves with." - Jon Vroman The Strongest Foundation for Growth "I reframed what rock bottom is in my world, and rock bottom is also a foundation. It has been expanding my range of possibilities, truly tapping into this. Openness, the feminine energy, this receiving energy… just letting the world give to you, fully receiving, curiosity… I also thrive in the masculine, what I would call this driving energy where I want to be in my car going somewhere, focused, with a direction, achieving… And how fast can I move back and forth between those energies? When I started this podcast in 2019, Dr. Kelly Flanagan was one of my inaugural guests, and his episode, “The Gifts of Creativity,” remains one of my favorites. Kelly has just published his first novel, The Unhiding of Elijah Campbell, and I wanted to talk to him about how that experience differed from writing nonfiction, and about the book itself. We delve into those questions and various subjects raised by the book, including how we look outside ourselves (and sometimes to our creative work) to find our worth, the value of letting out our wild sides, how the things we do for security often actually undermine us, and how Kelly sees the intersection of spirituality and creativity. As an added bonus, we have a copy of the book to give away to a listener—stay tuned to hear those details at the end. Here are the posts for the giveaway: Instagram and Twitter. Want more? Here's a handy playlist with all my previous interviews with guests in writing and publishing! And you can find Kelly's first appearance on the podcast here. If you're working on a writing project, for NaNoWriMo or not, you're invited to join me for the NaNoWriMo Power Hour on November 13th! Get some writing done with fellow writers right when you're most likely to hit a motivational slump, so you can keep your momentum going. Check out the show notes at fycuriosity.com, and join the conversation on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter! I also post on TikTok, and you can also listen on YouTube.
Gentlemen, I am absolutely pumped to welcome Dr. Kelly Flanagan back to the show. He is many things to many people, and he's a legendary member of our brotherhood. Kelly has a new book coming out this week titled, The Unhiding of Elijah Campbell, and I can't wait to dig into it. I hope you'll check it out too. One topic that we've discussed many times over the years on the podcast and our Online Summits is how we can all be better at being vulnerable with our friends and especially our family. And we really unpacked that in this conversation as we talked about how we all have a tendency to hide ourselves and our truest thoughts to avoid feeling shame. It's natural to want to hide our crap, our secrets, and the things that we don't like about ourselves. But doing that doesn't promote and create connection. And when we unhide ourselves, there's freedom to be found there. Kelly shares a fantastic story of someone who gave an advance copy of his new book to their friend's 95-year-old mom. And after reading it, her mom shared some things with her daughter that she had never talked about before. So it's not just freedom but healing that can be found when we unhide ourselves. We covered a lot of ground in this conversation. We talked about the importance of facing your past to improve your present, the challenge of saying no to our kids, and how love isn't always about being in agreement with each other, but being able to hold space for disagreement as well. So much good stuff there. One more thing: If you purchase Kelly's book (and I highly recommend that you do) please leave a review on Amazon. Even if you're only two chapters into it, you can still share your thoughts before you finish the book. It helps so much in spreading the word, and reviews help us too. So here's my gift to you: If you leave an honest review of this show, take a screenshot of it and send it to info@frontrowdads.com with your address. I will send a free copy of the book to the first 5 people. (US Residents only) Mark Your Calendars and Sign up! Our next Online Summit is on November 10th from 12pm-3:30 ET where we'll be focusing on the Emotional Intelligence Pillar and our nervous system. You'll learn how to stay cool, calm and collected in those moments that you feel triggered. And our Inaugural FRD Live Summit is happening from Dec. 2nd-4th here in Austin, Texas. That's right. It's LIVE and in person! Capacity is limited, so sign up at FrontRowDads.com/Live to book your spot today! Kelly Flanagan Podcast Highlights How to stop hiding your authentic self and learn how to fully express yourself with your kids, spouse, friends and family in a healthy way. The importance of welcoming, and accepting, all the parts of your personality and every role you play in interpersonal relationships. Why entrepreneurs are future-focused and often fail to face the past, and how that harms them in the long run. Fully revealing and unhiding yourself isn't always sharing ourselves with others, sometimes it's actually about helping ourselves and our own confidence. True love isn't always about being in agreement with each other, love is being able to hold space for disagreement. In psychologist Kelly Flanagan's non-fiction works (Loveable, True Companions), he drew from clinical insight to explore the spiritual depths of identity and relationships. Now, in this debut novel, he weaves a page-turning and plot-twisting tale that brings new life to those insights, along with fresh revelations about personal growth, spiritual transformation, and the dynamics of interpersonal relationships.
We are kicking off a new series on the podcast this week! We are calling it Midlife is No Joke. Because midlife brings responsibilities from many directions. It also brings lots of change. These combined can act as a pressure cooker of stress, or at least an uncharted path as we respond to changing roles, relationships, and responses (ours and others.) Dr. Kelly Flanagan is a clinical psychologist turned fiction author who explores the big questions of life in both areas of work. His experience "sitting in the chair", as he calls it, along with his own midlife journey, offers the sisterhood insights about the common questions many of us face as we realize we are no longer young and we still have some years of life left. Who am I as my roles change? Where am I headed? Is there pain involved in this new change? How do I discern God's path for me? These are not light questions and Dr. Kelly gives us some approaches on how to listen to our responses in our heads and bodies as we confront these bigger questions. We've got a lot to cover about midlife over the next several weeks, and we are diving in headfirst with the big questions because we all have them. Mental Health, Resilience, and Postpartum Depression often get a bad rap in the Black female community. Mental health because it's highly stigmatized, resilience because Black women are often celebrated for their bounce back game even when it's to their own detriment, and postpartum depression because depression in and of itself is taboo – add postpartum in front of it and it becomes even more taboo. We're glad "critically acclaimed and born" Sasha Nicole is going against the grain and talking about ALL OF IT no matter how taboo or uncomfortable it may be. She stopped by the virtual studio to chat it up and pour it out about her experience with severe postpartum depression, resilience and how both impacted her mental health. The reality is we may not look like what we've been through, but we've most certainly fought battles and bounced back from circumstances that probably could have and should have taken us out. That's what resilience looks like for most of us, but for Sasha Nicole it also looks like being able to overcome her own self-inflicted obstacles and taking accountability for the choices she's made. There are levels to this sh*t and Sasha Nicole is not afraid to break it all down. From reframing resilience to the disparities in mental health and the lack of knowledge and awareness around postpartum depression, she leaves no stone unturned. Meet phenomenal host, Fiona Cutts, and join her on the magical journey and hear how she changed from being paralysed by shyness to shining with exuberance as an international facilitator, empowering others to create a greater life than they ever thought possible. Description: In this episode, Fiona is smiling beautifully without some of her teeth following intense dental surgery. She shares a recent experience with a rude person and some tools that can help give our lives back rather than shying away. How much have you made yourself wrong, where you feel someone has pushed you to be rude, and you feel badly afterwards? Key points: people can catch our energy from our smiles that goes way beyond our lips for some of us shy people, we don't get the way we're supposed to behave in this reality (eg, judge people by how they look) people can be rude energetically though their words, according to this reality, may not be we can respond to the energy of the smile and really get the other person Tools and questions: Everywhere you've made yourself wrong for not getting how this reality works and those circumstances, will you destroy and uncreate it all? Sitting with uncomfortable emotions is undoubtedly one of the most challenging experiences you will encounter along life's journey. It's also one of the most needed to enjoy a life of wholeness and total surrender. I am joined in the virtual studio by one of the most unapologetic and authentic Black women I have met to date. Wendi Dixon is a beautiful soul who has experienced trauma in various areas of her life, but has found comfort, freedom, and peace in sitting with the uncomfortable emotions that once wreaked havoc on her life. I started my conversation with Wendi by asking her to repeat and complete the statement, "My strong is". She responded with, ″My strong is emotion. I'm able to sit in the dark and the light." In today's episode, she paints a really vivid [before and after] picture of her journey to being able to sit in the "dark and the light" aka sitting with her emotions whether good or bad, happy or sad. Tweetable Moments: "Trauma is not only what happens to you or the events that occur in your life; it's what didn't happen to you as well." CLICK TO TWEET. "You can only meet people where you have already met yourself. I can't hold space for you if I can't hold space for me. I don't even know what holding space looks like." Meet phenomenal host, Fiona Cutts, and join her on the magical journey and hear how she changed from being paralysed by shyness to shining with exuberance as an international facilitator, empowering others to create a greater life than they ever thought possible. Description: In this episode from Croatia, Fiona's Air BnB is not actually the quiet it is advertised to be. And she realised she had a choice: to go into familiar negativity or to choose to acknowledge all the great things she has created for her life in Croatia and not allow the noise to ruin her enjoyment. Why would we allow problems to stop the enjoyment we are having in our lives? Key points: as shy people, we often have quite a negative view on life all the problems of not wanting to talk to others, not wanting to be seen, can get into our heads and we go round and round in circles, and things deteriorate and we end up being only negative we can choose to not go to the drama and trauma related to what is going on with and around us we can choose to be joy and experience it melting the difficulties Tools and questions: What joy are you that can melt the problems around you? Anything that doesn't allow that, to choose that, will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. What joy are you that you don't even want to know that you are, that you are pretending that you're not, that if you allowed yourself to be would change everything? All the energy, all the points of view in the way of that, will you destroy and uncreate them? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. Meet phenomenal host, Fiona Cutts, and join her on the magical journey and hear how she changed from being paralysed by shyness to shining with exuberance as an international facilitator, empowering others to create a greater life than they ever thought possible. Description: In this episode, Fiona comes to us from Croatia, where she has been dealing with officialdom, something she usually does not enjoy at all. She allowed herself to be space, and something changed in the worlds of the officials and they became incredibly friendly and helpful! What if you could actually be space and see what that creates? Key points: shy people often function from a space of contraction because we are wondering what others are thinking about, how are we going to be in this situation, trying to figure it all out, and getting caught up in this loop being space is the opposite of that contracted place and people don't have to resist and react to us to get in when we are the space of us, it allows the people around us to have their own realities without losing ours often when people are being aggressive, it's about what they believe they are lacking Tools and questions: What space can I be here? Everything that doesn't allow that, will you destroy and uncreate it all? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. Meet phenomenal host, Fiona Cutts, and join her on the magical journey and hear how she changed from being paralysed by shyness to shining with exuberance as an international facilitator, empowering others to create a greater life than they ever thought possible. Description: Fiona comes to us in this episode with her head exploding. She gets that it's her head making her aware that she's in her head, overthinking, and not in her knowing and it's an invitation to step into her power and potency. Are you willing to get out of thinking and get to the brilliance of you, the magic of you, the being? Key points: many of us shy people are in our heads a lot sometimes when we are stepping into a new space of being, stepping into more than we have been, the mind will panic and will come up with more shit to stop us (eg, the thinking) when we are overusing our heads, living from logic all the time, getting headaches is an invitation to come into being, follow the energy, live from what we know rather than what we think when we ask for our knowing, we can get an awareness of something that needs to be done and stop the constant running on the hamster wheel overthinking shuts down the possibilities headaches can be showing us where we're not choosing the change that's possible Tools and questions: When you are in a tizz, just ask, “What do I know here?” “Universe, show me where I'm overthinking.” “What would it take for me to notice when I'm in the thinking?” “What would it take for me to notice when I'm overthinking and interrupt it with a question?” Everything that hearing I'm a being, not just a head on legs brings up, will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. When overthinking and being compressed and contracted, just ask for your being to be out, round the room you're in, round the country you're in, and out round the Universe. Be space. How much space do I need to be for the mindfuck to give up? Anything that doesn't allow that, will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. If I weren't thinking now, what else would be possible? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. Where are you not choosing to change that's possible for you? Everything that is. Everything that brings up, will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. Are you willing to be the magical being beyond the mind, beyond the thinking that's actually possible? And if you were that, how different would you be, how much freedom would you have? Everything all that brings up, will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. Meet phenomenal host, Fiona Cutts, and join her on the magical journey and hear how she changed from being paralysed by shyness to shining with exuberance as an international facilitator, empowering others to create a greater life than they ever thought possible. Description: In this episode, Fiona talks about her trip from Zagreb to the coast in Croatia (just because she could) via the translation office, which was far from easy yet accomplished with fun and EASE! Are you willing to choose ease in your life? Key points: we can make a choice based on the energy and then our heads come in make us doubt it we can have ease with things that are not necessarily easy when we choose coming out our shyness and stepping out of judging ourselves, this creates space required to have everything with ease Tools and questions: Say 10 times in the morning and 10 times in the evening (or even 100 times twice a day!): “All of life comes to me with ease and joy and glory.” Everything that hearing choosing to come out of shyness creates everything with ease brings up, will you destroy and uncreate it? Meet phenomenal host, Fiona Cutts, and join her on the magical journey and hear how she changed from being paralysed by shyness to shining with exuberance as an international facilitator, empowering others to create a greater life than they ever thought possible. Description: This episode is chock full of tools and questions that Fiona has successfully used and continues to use which help her be present with choosing for a generative life and future. What choice can you make today that will create the future that you desire to be living? Key points: when we are shy, we have a lot of stuff that holds us back shyness itself means we are not totally present because we have to hide ourselves we're making choices all the time - they can be expansive and create joy in our lives in the moment and help create a generative future or they can be choices that decay our lives, to not be present and zone out using tools that help us change, make us more aware, which makes us more present in our lives, and the more present we are in our lives we are, the more we become aware of what we are choosing moment by moment, the more aware we are of choosing moment by moment, the more we are able we are to choose the generative stuff that leads to the futures we desire and be living rather than choosing the messed up stuff that decays our lives in the moment and decays our future Tools and questions: How does it get better than this? What else is possible? What else is possible that I haven't even considered yet? All the energy, all the stuff that hearing about creating or decaying choices brings up in your world, will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. Everything that hearing shynesss means you're not being present brings up, will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. Everything that hearing how your choices can create or decay your future or life, will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. What if there is nothing wrong with what you've chosen so far? What if there's nothing wrong with the choices you've chosen so far that have messed up your future? What if there's nothing wrong with that? What if you were able to say, “Oh, okay, I've made some choices that have been pretty messed up. I've made some choices that have decayed my future. I've made some choices that have led to some of the stuff that's showing up in my life in the moment that is bringing decay.” Everything the word ‘decay' brings up in my world, I destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. What if you were able to be present with the fact that some of the choices you've made are creating the decayed present and the decayed future that isn't your best choice. Everything that brings up, will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. Ask in the moment, “what choice can I make today that will create the future that I desire to be living?” Everything that is, everything that allows you to be, know, perceive and receive it, will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. When deciding what to choose between two things, ask: “What will my life be like in five years' time if I choose ‘A', if I choose choice ‘B', what will my life be like in five years' time? Will choice ‘A' create my financial future or will choice ‘A' decay my financial future? Will choice ‘B' create my financial future or will choice ‘B' decay my financial future? Description: In this episode, we hear Fiona in action facilitating herself as she develops more awarenesses around being in a tizz when repeatedly asked for her opinions about a new business venture and shares with us powerful tools to help us trust ourselves and go with what we know. Key points: being forced to do something that isn't us can be really painful and horrible and cause a shutdown of what we actually know we don't actually have to know the ‘facts' of those more experienced because we can contribute by following the energy what if we can just know and have the direct engagement with the energy that presents itself without making ourselves wrong if we trusted ourselves, we could just know it and stop trying to figure it out Tools and questions: All the energy that hearing Fiona talk about being repeatedly questioned about her opinion brings up in your world, will destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. If being confronted about your opinion makes you go to some kind of blank; truth, will you destroy and uncreate that response? Thank you. Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. If there was something you were forced to do that wasn't natural for you, that you didn't want to do, that you weren't able to say that it's not natural for you'll, all the stuff from the past, will you now destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. What else do we know that we've decided that we don't know that if we allowed ourselves to know it would change everything? All of that, will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. Everything that choosing to go with energy rather than thinking we have to know all the factual information brings up, will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. All the energy that comes up about you just trusting that you can know brings up will you destroy and uncreate it? Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®. What if we could just function from the energy and have less trying to figure it out? Anything that doesn't allow that, let's destroy and uncreate it. Right and wrong, good and bad, POD and POC, all 9, shorts, boys, POVADs and beyonds®.
