Speaker of the House Mike Johnson slammed President Joe Biden for being “MIA as usual” during the anti-Israel protests on university campuses, and President Donald Trump called the campus chaos “a sad thing to see.” They both appeared on Fox News (Hannity) to respond to the NYPD arresting more than 100 rioters at Columbia University. New York Mayor Eric Adams also denounced the antisemitic rhetoric as he defended the actions of the police. The Sekulow team discusses President Biden's failure to respond to the college protests, the latest news on the Middle East, the ACLJ's legal work – and much more.
In a display of competitive spirit typical of his persona, Donald Trump hypothetically challenged his potential counterpart in the 2024 election, President Joe Biden, after hearing of Biden's loose acceptance to a political spar. Trump took to social media to respond to Biden's seemingly reluctant confirmation, closing with the phrase, 'ANYWHERE, ANYTIME, ANYPLACE', invoking boxing lore. This direct, albeit unexpected, acceptance from Biden emerged on 'The Howard Stern Show'. Probed by Stern on whether he would be open to a verbal duel with Trump, Biden articulated a vague 'yes', stating he was 'happy to debate him' at an unspecified location. Just weeks prior, Trump had already shown his readiness to step into the political ring with Biden. He expressed his willingness to meet Biden 'anytime, anyplace', fixing his gaze toward the imminent November elections. Trump didn't shy away from revealing his motivation: this contest, he mentioned, would serve 'for the good of the country.' In his classic, unabashed style, Trump not only voiced his intention to engage in a debate but made a point of publicly coaxing his potential competitor. He called out Biden, using his pointed nickname for the President, 'Crooked Joe', to foster a sense of urgency and anticipation through his challenge. Trump's statement was made all the more emblematic as he stood in front of a mic, hosting a black placard that echoed his words: 'Anytime. Anywhere. Anyplace.' This powerful visual served as a potent reminder of his tenacity and his ever-ready stance. American citizens, it seems, are quite open to experiencing such an electrifying debate, as is reflected in several polls. A majority of Americans have voiced that they desire to witness verbal jousts between both the candidates this election cycle.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
On a recent Wednesday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, a division of the Labor Department, disclosed a higher than expected inflation rate for March. A robust 3.5% surge in prices was noted, indicating a rise in the cost of living year-over-year. Under these circumstances, it seems unlikely that the Federal Reserve will grant a cut in interest rates. This lack of movement on interest rates comes as the threat of inflation looms large, diffusing consistency across the financial landscape. Crucial to our understanding of this scenario is the Consumer Price Index (CPI). The CPI assesses the variations in prices charged for goods and services across the economy. From the data collected for March, the CPI experienced an uptick of 0.4%, which ought to spark interest in mindful economic watchers. There's also the 'core' CPI to consider. This evaluates the overall cost barring food and energy prices, providing a somewhat different perspective. Mirroring the general CPI, the core CPI for March saw an increase of 0.4%. Notably, the annual rate stands at 3.8%. It's crucial not to overlook that the bulk of the inflationary surge can be attributed to hikes in energy and housing prices. These sectors have a profound influence on the economy and their upward trend significantly affects everyday American life.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In the wake of a series of successful outcomes in recent 'Super Tuesday' primaries across the nation, the previous commander-in-chief, Donald Trump, has addressed the nation confidently. Trump shared with Fox News Digital that the evening was fruitful and serving the nation is a privilege, as he strives to revive American health and prosperity. The states of Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Texas, Massachusetts, Colorado, Maine, Alabama, Arkansas, and Minnesota had favored Trump over Nikki Haley, a former UN ambassador who decided to drop out of the race the following day. In his conversation with the media outlet, Trump reflected on the phenomenal events of the evening, implying that such a political triumph is rare. His dedication to the nation and the Republican Party was apparent as he discussed reestablishing the vigour and thriving economy of the nation. Adding to his monumental success, Trump also gained a victory in the California GOP primary.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Last week unveiled startling declarations from special inquirer Nathan Wade and a close acquaintance of Fani Willis, initiating insights that cast doubt on the case against the 45th American President, Donald Trump. The word on the street spread like wildfire following a surprise testimony that insinuated that both Willis and Wade, who have openly acknowledged their romantic liaison, may have deceived the court over the timeline of their initial romantic involvement. An unexpected turn of events occurred when Robin Yeartie, a close comrade of Willis and former staffer at the District Attorney's office, confided that she was fully convinced Willis and Wade commenced their romantic entanglement in 2019, contradicting Willis' assertion that they shared a platonic friendship at that timeframe.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
activities from the U.S. Supreme Court have elicited a reaction from the nation's 45th President, Donald Trump. The Supreme Court has become a stage for a defining legal battle, and a clarifying decision—are we going to see Trump in the running again this upcoming election season or not? This query all comes on the backdrop of Colorado's controversial decision to sideline the former president from the ballot sheets. From the outset, it appears that the Supreme Court Justices have their reservations regarding this move from the state. The justices, renowned for their sagacity and insight, did not hold back in their evaluation of the Colorado judicial ruling. Their tough inquiries directed towards the state's legal representative implied an underlying skepticism. More specifically, they took issue with the very premise for Colorado's hard stance—the assumption that Trump, during his presidency, had caused an insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. The root of this dilemma can be traced back to Colorado's highest court, which passed a decree stating Trump was no longer qualified to be a part of the ballot listing. According to their assessment, the controversial incident on Capitol Hill, while Trump was in office, amounted to an act of insurrection. Consequently, this perceived transgression was cited as the rationale for removing him from potential candidacy. It's worth noting the response from Trump, who didn't take the decision lying down. He appealed against the ruling from Colorado, launching a legal challenge which has brought us to the current developments at the Supreme Court. The situation is resonating throughout the country given the implications it has for the possibility of another Trump term.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Georgia case against former President Donald Trump is already backfiring. Aside from some oddities in how the charges were brought, something more important is now happening. People are actually reading the indictment, and they're finding the case against President Trump and 18 others alongside him is taking mundane acts and framing them as crimes. Charges were announced Monday in Fulton County, Georgia, against President Trump and members of his election integrity team. They're being charged under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, meant to take down the mafia. The charges are essentially that President Trump and his team conspired to change the outcome of the 2020 election by investigating election fraud, and that because they did this together, they were a corrupt organization. They now face 41 charges. ⭕️
