Quello che non è stato distrutto dalla grandine, («vere e proprie palle di ghiaccio», nelle parole di chi è stato intervistato il mattino successivo al disastro), è stato poi danneggiato dall'acqua. Una calamità che ha lasciato segni indelebili. Vetri rotti, carrozzerie ammaccate e fanali distrutti riportano «le ferite» di quella notte.
