Aliens dead orbit and my thoughts on how to bring the alien franchise back
Oh why oh why did we agree to this! In the last episode Emmet joked about watching the sequence of films that led to Alien Versus Predator in 2004 - and a listener thought that was a great idea. Apparently this was more a geas than a simple request, so Stevie and Emmet watched: Predator Predator 2 Alien Versus Predator Aliens Versus Predator: Requiem Phew! The credit due to Randy Stradley, Phil Norwood, Chris Warner, as well as Mark Verheiden's comics work in setting this franchise in motion, published by Dark Horse, is also discussed. Also discussed: Walt Williams's Significant Zero Dirty Money on Netflix coronavirus and capitalism Watts River Brewery (buy local kids!) Aliens: Dead Orbit by James Stokoe Aliens: Labyrinth by Jim Woodring and Kilian Plunkett

**Dimension Jumping Lassie** Andrew and Producer Rob are back to talk about some narrative sequential art (you know, comics and stuff … and maybe the odd cave painting). Kicking things off this week is the news that Mysterio will be the main villain in the sequel to Spiderman: Homecoming, which leads us on to a defunct concept called Old Man Peter Parker. After that we discover that Disney World Florida is offering Marvel haircuts, and the news that Damon Lindelof's Watchmen will be a “remix” of sorts. This week's featured comics and manga America Vol. 2: Fast and Fuertona, Chi’s Sweet Adventure volume 1, Aliens: Dead Orbit and Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku volume 1. NO TRESPASS BY ORDER, BY DRUNKEN DISORDER MORE LIKELY OLD PRICK When you dine at the devil’s table you better make sure you bring your own cutlery. Also bring your own napkin. Some sort of hand santitizer wouldn’t go amiss either. Basically, everyone knows the Devil’s a bit of a prick so take precautions. This should all really go without saying. The real question is why are you dining at the Devil’s table in the first place? Obviously you’re better off not dining at the Devil’s table. Tell you what, if you’re dining at the Devil’s table you deserve everything coming to you (unless you’re buttering him up for a reduced membership fee at the Devil’s Gym with its Olympic sized swimming pool that isn’t full of school kids and old people taking up too much lane space with an impossibly slow breast stroke.
