“If the Ghostbusters and the Scooby-Doo gang got stoned together in Stanley Park and Frankensteined a high-larious single-camera sitcom, it would probably look something like Paranormal Solutions Inc.” That's how our valiant host Sabrina Rani Furminger opened an article she wrote in 2016 for the Westender newspaper about the first season of Paranormal Solutions Inc., a fabulous series from the funniest people in Vancouver. Eight years later – and nearly 10 years after visiting their set in Gastown where they filmed much of season one – the Paranormal Solutions Inc. gang is back, with season two. This time around, the PSI gang is even funnier, more of a collective hot mess, and getting themselves into even zanier and grosser paranormal situations than in season one, even serving up a delightful smorgasbord of homages to some of our favourite horror properties, from The Blair Witch Project to Halloween to The Shining to Cujo – and, for some reason, there's also a lot of kale. Paranormal Solutions Inc. stars David Milchard, Julia Benson, Nicholas Carella, Daniel Bacon, Diana Bang, Christina Sicoli, and Matt Clarke, with cameos from local favourites like Sara Canning and Jordan Connor. It's produced by Tilt 9 Entertainment and executive produced by another long list of our favourites: Milchard, Carella, Clarke, Michelle Ouellet, and Dylan Collingwood. In this rambunctious episode, Sabrina is joined by Nicholas Carella and Matthew Clarke to talk about the how's and why's and WTF's (including the joys and challenges of acting opposite a taxidermied rodent) of this side-splitting horror comedy series.

oe Carella has a bold prescription for the future of eldercare, starting with reimagining nursing homes as hubs for entire communities. Instead of looking for ways to iterate on the institutional nursing home, such as through assisted and independent living, Carella challenges the sector to imagine a future where people actually want to move into a nursing home level of care because that's where the action is – friends, family, and the wider community gathering in places where people receive care instead of avoiding the setting altogether. It's a model that Carella pioneered at the Scandinavian Living Center, a Massachusetts community that's technically licensed as assisted living but is so interwoven with the town of Newton that people don't immediately realize they're enjoying ice cream or attending a cultural performance within an eldercare setting. In this episode, hear Carella discuss his unique path to eldercare and his vision for how nursing homes can be destinations, and not places where people regret moving.
Soltanto a pag.

A Medicine Shaman works with Medicine Spirits. Anything that a person sees as separate from themselves is a spirit with its own energy structure and vibration. A spirit can only be what it is and function accordingly. It cannot be forced to do other than what its function is. Because there are so many spirits, a Shaman works with Head Medicine Spirits. The Head Medicine Spirits direct other spirits to assist in carrying out the work with a Shaman. I refer specifically to Medicine Shamans and Medicine Spirits because there are other types of shamans that work with the dark arts. I recommend avoiding the later.Master Shamans are able to navigate through energetic spaces and move through worlds and dimensions directly and easily with their knowledge and connection to Spirit as their guide. Master Shamans hold safe and sacred ceremonial spaces. With the use of the Teacher Medicine Plant Cannabis, people are guided into shamanic states of consciousness so they can release blocks that are no longer serving their highest selves. The Shaman keeps others moving through the transformative process – out of stagnation and into motion. The Shaman opens gateways to divine knowledge and divine wisdom.Victoria Carella can be reached and supported through the following links:FacebookJOURNEYS An Exploration of BeingCannabis Shamanism: Reconnecting to Sacred Teacher Plant Medicine
The Sun, the Moon, and the Stars have always been sources of great mystery. People looked to the night sky for answers to questions about life, the seasons, and their own existence. Many ancient cultures looked up at the sky in wonder and projected their hopes, dreams, and fears onto the heavens. Even today, many people believe that the stars and celestial bodies have healing energies that they can bring to us. Today we have Dino Carella, Coach, Consultant, and Writer; Author, of The Way of the Wind. About Dino Carella I am a former credit risk director and board member with 28 years of international experience, primarily in financial services, now dedicated to consultancy and coaching leaders who are eager to embrace their personal growth path. I just published my debut novel “The way of the wind” to share a bit of my journey with the hope that it will inspire you to embrace your own with trust. As a consultant, I serve you with my expertise while as a Coach I support your growth path by working in partnership with you. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/tbcy/support

The Cannabis Business Coach Michael Zaytsev interviews and coaches Chirali Patel, Founder of Blaze Responsibly. Chirali is an attorney at Carella, Byrne, Cecchi, Brody & Agnello. Prior to that, she worked in various public service roles as an attorney for Bergen County and for Hoboken in New Jersey. Chirali got involved in activism after having a family member with Cancer struggling to get access to medical Cannabis. Since then, she's become an advocate for greater access and also for diversity, inclusion and equity in the Cannabis industry. We discuss the state of New Jersey, applying for Cannabis business licenses, the need for widespread decriminalization, and more. In this coaching segment, Mike Z helps Chirali navigate social media marketing and how to use it to build a Cannabis brand or business without being sucked into the toxic and addicting aspects of social media.
Executive Director Joe Carella of the Scandinavian Charitable Society of Greater Boston talks about how his accidental placement in a geriatric hospital ward as a teenager sparked his passion for community-centered living: a commonsense approach to aging where older adults in residential facilities are connected to the larger community through events and programs at the facilities that anyone can choose to participate in. Joe's passion was stoked on a research trip to Scandinavia, where he visited several facilities for older adults in search of alternatives to caring for America's aging population. He later oversaw the design and development of the Scandinavian Living Center in Newton, Massachusetts, an assisted-living community that welcomes over 2,000 visitors a month and is based on the principles in Joe's book, “Creating Unlimited Options for Aging: The Path Forward.” Joe tells us why institutional housing for older adults is outdated and even club-like communities for older adults, like The Villages in Florida, are unhealthy. He makes clear that community-centered living isn't a marketing concept, but a gathering concept. “Creating Unlimited Options for Aging”: https://amzn.to/2KOGRkQ Scandinavian Center for Living: www.slcenter.org Also mentioned in the show: Leonard Florence Center for Living: https://bit.ly/2m4Rwcu Elizabeth Seton Residence: https://www.elizabethseton.org Music: “Our Names Engraved” and “Jog to the Water” by Blue Note Sessions | CC BY NC | Free Music Archive

Ms. Victoria Carella spent some time with me discussing an ancient technique of healing through Shamanism. As a practitioner of modern medicine, I am fascinated by ancient methods of healing and learning about their role in the modern world. Victoria explains how she uses cannabis as a medicinal "teacher" and the controversy over its federal legality. As such, I have to put a disclaimer on this episode: I do not condone or recommend that individuals self-medicate with plants for medical conditions. These plant medicines can be very powerful and interact with a host of prescribed medications today and these interactions could be fatal! From Victoria A. Carella's AMAZON PAGE: She is a Mystic, Master Shaman, master of human consciousness, Master Medicine Woman, transformational teacher, visionary, artist, author, poet, and gardener. Her working in mysticism, consciousness and shamanism took her from the American Southwest to the jungles of Mexico, to Europe, to Mongolia, to Egypt, Greece and Tunisia, and to Peru and the Peruvian Amazon. Victoria apprenticed with a Maestro in the Peruvian Amazon in the eminent and legendary lineage of Don Julio Llerana Pinedo and Don Alberto Torres Davila. She focuses her work on authentic disciplines of shamanism. As a Master Shaman, she guides people into shamanic states of consciousness to connect to their true selves as she takes them on the journey of healing and transformation. Visit Victoria's Facebook Page for more information. As always, thanks for checking out the show! Please visit www.waitwhatif.com for everything show related!
