À la fin des années 80, quand Zucchero commence à faire voyager sa musique hors d'Italie, il est encore un artiste périphérique sur la scène internationale. S'il a déjà travaillé avec un des frères Jackson, il est toujours dans l'émerveillement de ce qui lui arrive, il est à nouveau le gamin qu'il a été, celui qui passait des heures à écouter des disques américains, et qui s'était construit une voix en reproduisant des sons avant d'en saisir le sens.Parmi les musiciens qu'il écoute depuis toujours, il y a Miles Davis, une figure qui dépasse largement le jazz et qui incarne cette manière de faire évoluer la musique sans jamais se répéter. L'idée de travailler avec lui semble hors de portée, mais Zucchero tente sa chance malgré tout, en envoyant une cassette via des intermédiaires jusqu'à l'entourage du musicien américain.Contre toute attente, la réponse arrive, et elle est positive. Miles Davis accepte de participer à un enregistrement. La rencontre a lieu en studio, dans un cadre très simple, sans mise en scène particulière, avec cette manière qu'a Davis d'imposer immédiatement un son, une couleur. Zucchero vit un rêve : enregistrer avec le pape de la trompette, qu'il a appris à connaître uniquement à travers des disques.Le titre ne sera pas un succès mais il lui donne une légitimité nouvelle, dans le métier. À partir de là, les collaborations se multiplient, les scènes s'élargissent, et Zucchero passe progressivement du statut de l'artiste italien qui s'exporte à artiste international tout court.Quand il entre en studio quelques années plus tard pour enregistrer l'album Spirito DiVino, en 1995, il n'est plus dans une logique de conquête ni de reconnaissance, mais dans la maîtrise. Il sait désormais comment une chanson se comporte en dehors de son pays, comment elle est reçue, ce qui la rend accessible sans la transformer. Cette expérience accumulée, des studios aux grandes scènes, se retrouve dans un titre qui va s'imposer très rapidement.Une chanson construite sur une énergie immédiate, une structure claire, et une voix identifiable, même quand on ne comprend pas tous les mots dans les phrases.Et lorsque le titre sort dans le commerce, il s'installe aussitôt dans plusieurs pays européens. Cette fois, la boucle est bouclée car parmi les chansons qui circulent partout dans le monde, il y en a ne viennent pas d'Angleterre ni d'Amérique, ce sont les siennes.

Au début des années 90, Zucchero n'est plus seulement un de ces chanteurs italiens qui a réussi percer à l'étranger, mais simplement, un musicien qui a pris sa place à l'international et qui croise d'autres artistes.À Modène, un homme suit cela de près, il s'appelle Luciano Pavarotti. Une star mondiale, une voix, une silhouette, un visage que tout le monde connaît, mais aussi quelqu'un qui cherche à élargir son univers. L'opéra, il le maîtrise parfaitement, mais il a envie d'autre chose, de rencontres, de mélanges.Les deux musiciens italiens échangent sur leurs mondes respectifs qui semblent très éloignés, et pourtant très vite une idée s'installe : faire venir sur une même scène des artistes qui, en temps normal, ne joueraient jamais ensemble. Ce projet, ce sera Pavarotti & Friends.À Modène, sur une grande scène montée en plein air, le public ne vient pas seulement écouter le ténor car dans les coulisses, ce soir-là, les silhouettes ne sont pas celles d'un gala classique. Il y a Bono qui discute, lunettes noires sur le nez. Plus loin, Eric Clapton accorde sa guitare, un peu en retrait, comme s'il était dans un studio et non bientôt devant des milliers de personnes. Et au milieu de tout ça, Zucchero passe de l'un à l'autre, parle, traduit parfois, met les gens en relation.Ce n'est pas un hasard. Il connaît ces deux langues musicales. Il a grandi avec le blues américain, il a construit sa carrière en Italie, et il sait comment faire se rencontrer ces univers sans les dénaturer. Quand le concert commence, le public voit quelque chose d'inhabituel et pourtant, ça fonctionne.Et dans cette mécanique, Zucchero est celui qui a rendu la rencontre possible. Celui qui connaît les chansons, les codes, les habitudes des uns et des autres, et qui permet que tout se passe sans friction.Ce soir-là, et dans les éditions suivantes, il devient évident que quelque chose a changé. Les frontières entre les genres sont moins étanches. Le public accepte d'entendre autre chose, autrement. Et pour Zucchero, c'est une nouvelle étape.Lui qui, quelques années plus tôt, chantait dans des salles où l'on parlait plus qu'on ne l'écoutait, se retrouve au centre d'un dispositif où les plus grandes voix du monde acceptent de se rencontrer non pas autour d'un style, mais autour d'une idée simple : la musique circule mieux quand quelqu'un sait comment faire le lien.Et ce quelqu'un, ce soir-là, c'est Zucchero.

Au début des années 70, dans le nord de l'Italie, nous retrouvons Zucchero, de son vrai nom, Adelmo Fornaciari, qui grandit dans une maison où l'on se lève tôt pour aller se tuer au boulot jusque tard, et où l'on parle peu.Son père comme sa mère travaillent la terre. Les journées sont physiques, et la musique n'est pas vraiment une priorité. Pourtant, dans sa chambre, le gamin joue à l'infini sur un petit tourne-disque quelques 45 Tours d'Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett et surtout Joe Cocker.Le problème, c'est qu'il ne comprend pas un mot d'anglais. Alors il invente une méthode. Il écoute et répète à voix basse, note sur un carnet des sons approximatifs, des phrases écrites comme il les voit dans sa tête. Il apprend par imitation pure, sans dictionnaire, et chante des histoires dont il ignore le sens, mais dont il ressent déjà l'impact.Très vite, il monte un groupe. Ça change souvent de nom et de musiciens. Il joue avec des formations locales qui tournent dans toute la région. Le week-end, ils chargent le matériel dans une voiture, parfois deux, amplis, câbles, batterie démontée, et ils vont jouer là où on veut d'eux. Des salles communales éclairées au néon, des fêtes de village où l'on aligne des tables avec des nappes qui collent un peu. Les gens boivent, parlent fort, mangent, se lèvent pour danser sans vraiment regarder le groupe.On leur demande des reprises américaines et anglaises, celles qu'on entend à la radio, hein : du rhythm and blues, du rock, de la soul. Zucchero commence à chanter du Joe Cocker avec un anglais bricolé et une voix qu'il pousse pour coller au modèle.Mais à force de répéter, quelque chose se met en place. Une manière d'attaquer les mots sans les glisser, de rester accroché à la note. Et cette rugosité, elle vient autant de ce qu'il entend et imite, que de ce qu'il est.Car Zucchero, c'est une vie simple, du travail dur, et des disques usés. Et à force de chanter des chansons qu'il ne traduit pas, il apprend comment faire passer une émotion sans s'appuyer sur le sens exact des mots.Quelques années plus tard, quand il écrira ses propres chansons, cette manière restera. A savoir une voix qui cherche juste à être crue. Et ça, il ne l'a pas appris à l'école, ni au conservatoire, Zucchero, non, il l'a appris le soir, dans des salles où personne ne l'écoutait vraiment, en tout cas, pas comme lui, écoutait ses disques.

À la fin des années 80, Zucchero n'est plus le type qu'on ne remarquait pas, au début, lors du Festival de Sanremo. En Italie, il a trouvé son public, ses disques se vendent, et surtout, il a imposé quelque chose de nouveau : du rhythm and blues chanté en italien.En 1987, il a ainsi sorti un album déterminant dans sa carrière : Blue's. L'album marche très fort dans la péninsule, et parmi les titres, une ballade passe particulièrement bien à la radio : “Senza una donna”.Mais comme souvent à l'époque, la chanson n'est pas arrêtée à la frontière que par les Alpes. Elle tourne en Italie, elle accompagne les soirées, elle passe dans les voitures, mais elle ne sort pas vraiment du pays.Pourtant, Zucchero commence à fréquenter les circuits internationaux, les studios, les musiciens de passage. C'est dans ce contexte qu'il croise Paul Young, une des voix immédiatement reconnaissables en Angleterre, un chanteur qui a déjà installé des succès dans toute l'Europe, il était déjà à l'affiche du Live Aid, en 1985.Zucchero lui fait entendre “Senza una donna”. La mélodie, la structure, l'émotion, tout est déjà là. Il ne lui manque qu'une porte d'entrée pour le public qui ne comprend pas l'italien.Tout va très vite : la chanson est réenregistrée en anglais, et surtout, en duo. Le texte est adapté, sans trahir l'idée originale, chacun gardant sa manière de chanter.La chanson entre dans les playlists des radios anglaises, puis européennes. Et très vite, c'est le tube.Ce qui frappe, c'est que rien n'a été recalibré pour “faire plus international”. La progression est la même, l'atmosphère aussi, et la voix de Zucchero reste intacte, avec ses aspérités. Simplement, cette fois, elle dialogue avec celle de Paul Young, et c'est ça qui donne à la chanson son ticket d'entrée dans les radios et les télés.Pour Zucchero, c'est un basculement plus que professionnel. C'est toute sa vie qui s'en trouve bouleversée. Lui qui, adolescent, chantait des titres américains en phonétique dans des salles des fêtes de Reggio Émilie, se retrouve avec une chanson que des publics étrangers reprennent, comprennent, s'approprient. Le trajet s'est inversé.Pour la première fois, une de ses chansons ne reste pas en Italie : elle circule comme celles qu'il écoutait, seul, des années plus tôt, sur le tourne-disque fatigué, dans sa chambre d'adolescent. C'est vrai qu'il n'y a de vent favorable pour ceux qui savent où ils vont.

Février 1982, tous les Italiens sont devant leur poste de télévision pour regarder, comme chaque année, le festival de la chanson de Sanremo. Alors ils sont tous là ou presque, les Albano et Romina Power avec leur sourire ultra brite et leurs gestes répétés au millimètre, et puis aussi Bobby Solo qui est une immense star. Comment vous le situer, il plairait autant aux admiratrices de Cloclo que Julien Clerc et Michel Polnareff.Et, pendant que ces grosses machines soulèvent une fois de plus l'admiration du pays, un inconnu attend son tour nerveusement derrière le rideau. Il se nomme Adelmo Fornaciari mais tout le monde l'appelle depuis qu'il est gamin, Zucchero. Qui veut dire “sucre”, vous le savez, un diminutif affectueux que son institutrice utilisait pour désigner le gros nounours en sucre qu'il était déjà.Et ça lui est resté, même quand il a quitté sa belle région de Reggio Emilia, entre Milan et Bologne. Ah c'est à lui, on l'annonce ! Zucchero entre sans ovation, car qui pour connaître son nom parmi les 2000 spectateurs dans la salle. L'artiste de 26 ans se lance avec tout son cœur, porté par l'orchestre qui a immédiatement attaqué l'intro. Mais trois minutes plus tard, il quitte la scène comme il y est entré : sans laisser de traces. Le lendemain, il achète les journaux dont il parcourt les pages avec une attente injustifiée : rien sur lui. Même pas une photo floue, ni de dos, il faut dire que la chanson d'Alabano et Romina Power est promise à une certaine postérité… et puis il y avait Kiss, les Stray Cats, Marianne Faithfull et Johnny Hallyday aussi …Et pourtant l'année suivante, en 1983, Zucchero est de retour à Sanremo. Même couloirs étroits en coulisses. Même odeur de laque et de projecteurs chauds. Et encore une fois, il disparaît dans le programme.Entre ces passages, il écrit pour des refrains pour d'autres interprètes qui, eux, passent à la radio. Petite consolation d'entendre ses mots sur les ondes pendant que lui, il roule sur l'autostrada, seul, entre deux petits concerts.Et puis, vient 1984. Sa femme le quitte. Zucchero reste quelques jours dans l'appartement, puis il ferme tout après avoir plié quelques vêtements dans une valise. Il remonte vers la maison de ses parents, près de Reggio Emilia. Là-bas, pas de scène, pas de plancher en bois, plutôt le carrelage froid de la cuisine et de la salle à manger où se trouve, quand même, un piano droit.Ooh le bois a travaillé, et les cordes aussi. Certaines touches n'ont plus vu l'accordeur depuis longtemps mais, à force de traîner son cafard, Zucchero finit par s'asseoir et jouer. Puis avec les jours, il se remet à composer, non pas pour s'occuper l'esprit, penser à autre chose, mais pour comprendre ce qui lui est arrivé et ce qu'il a, peut-être, encore à dire : … “Donne”.Ah, on est loin de la variété, là. Alors, quand il l'enregistre en 1985, Zucchero n'essaie plus de faire comme les autres qu'il a trop longtemps regardés depuis les coulisses. Sa voix n'est plus lisse comme un chanteur de Sanremo mais cette fois, quand le titre passe à la radio, les gens se demandent : “qui c'est, celui-là ?”Ben le même type que tu as déjà vu à la télé deux fois mais dont tu n'as pas retenu le nom. C'était juste une question de bon timing. Pas de quoi décourager ceux qui savent qu'on apprend quelque chose tous les jours.

Guida Completa alla Pronuncia Italiana: Consigli Pratici per Parlare come un Nativo La Regola d'Oro: Pronunciare Tutte le Lettere Il primo e più importante consiglio per migliorare istantaneamente la tua pronuncia italiana è semplice ma fondamentale: pronuncia tutte le lettere. A differenza di molte lingue, l'italiano non presenta suoni silenziosi (eccetto la H iniziale che è sempre muta). Ogni singola lettera scritta deve essere articolata con chiarezza. Ecco perché prestare attenzione alle doppie è fondamentale non solo per l'accuratezza fonetica, ma anche per evitare malintesi. Le Doppie nei Verbi: Futuro vs Condizionale Le doppie consonanti sono particolarmente importanti nella coniugazione verbale, dove distinguono tempi diversi. Un esempio classico è la differenza tra futuro e condizionale presente della prima persona plurale: Noi partiremo (partirémo - I lunga) = Futuro semplice, indica un'azione che avverrà Noi partiremmo (partirèmmo - I corta) = Condizionale presente, indica un'ipotesi Altri esempi verbali significativi: "Andremo" (futuro) vs "Andremmo" (condizionale) "Vedremo" (futuro) vs "Vedremmo" (condizionale) "Usciremo" (futuro) vs "Usciremmo" (condizionale) Per padroneggiare le doppie, è utile esercitarsi regolarmente con coppie minime (parole che differiscono solo per un suono). La N Finale di NON, IN, CON: La Regola della Trasformazione Esiste una regola fonetica fondamentale ma spesso trascurata che riguarda le parole NON, IN e CON. Quando queste parole sono seguite da una parola che inizia con B (come Bologna) o P, la N finale si trasforma in M per facilitare la pronuncia e rendere il discorso più fluido. Questa trasformazione, chiamata assimilazione consonantica, avviene perché pronunciare una N seguita immediatamente da una B o P richiede uno sforzo articolatorio innaturale. La bocca, infatti, deve passare rapidamente da una posizione nasale (N) a una posizione bilabiale (B o P), e questo passaggio è molto più facile se anche la consonante nasale diventa bilabiale (M). Questa è una delle caratteristiche che distingue un parlante nativo da uno studente, perché i nativi applicano questa regola istintivamente, senza pensarci. È importante sottolineare che questa è una regola puramente fonetica: nella scrittura formale si continua a usare la N, ma nella pronuncia effettiva la trasformazione in M è la norma tra i parlanti nativi. Applicare questa regola renderà il vostro italiano più naturale e scorrevole, e soprattutto più facile da pronunciare. I Pronomi Doppi: Dove Cade l'Accento? I pronomi doppi (combinazioni di pronomi come "te lo", "gliela", "ce li", "ve ne") rappresentano una sfida particolare non tanto per la loro pronuncia, quanto per la posizione dell'accento tonico, specialmente quando sono attaccati all'imperativo. Quando i pronomi doppi sono usati con forme verbali normali (indicativo, congiuntivo, ecc.), rimangono separati dal verbo e non creano problemi particolari: "Te lo regalo" - tre parole separate "Gliela mando" - due parole separate "Ce li portano" - tre parole separate Il problema sorge con l'imperativo, perché in questo caso i pronomi si attaccano alla fine del verbo formando un'unica parola. Questo principio vale anche per forme più complesse come: "Rèstituiscimelo" (accento su STI, non su CI o ME) "Pòrtagliene" (accento su POR) "Spiègatecela" (accento su GA) Per padroneggiare questa regola, esercitati prima pronunciando il verbo da solo, individuando dove cade l'accento naturalmente. Poi aggiungi i pronomi mantenendo l'accento esattamente nello stesso punto. Con la pratica, questa diventerà un'abitudine naturale e il tuo italiano suonerà immediatamente più autentico. Il Suono Z: Sorda o Sonora? La lettera Z italiana rappresenta una delle sfide più insidiose per gli studenti stranieri perché, a differenza di molte altre lingue, in italiano la Z ha due pronunce completamente diverse: la Z sorda e la Z sonora. E purtroppo non esiste una regola fissa universale per sapere quale usare! La Z Sorda (come TS) La Z sorda si pronuncia come i suoni "T" e "S" pronunciati rapidamente insieme, come se fossero un'unica consonante. È il suono che sentite in parole come "pizza" - che non si pronuncia "piza" ma "pitsa". Esempi di parole con Z sorda: Zucchero (tsucchero) - lo zucchero che metti nel caffè Grazie (gratsie) - la parola di ringraziamento più usata Pazzo (patso) - aggettivo che indica follia Stazione (statsione) - dove arrivano treni e autobus Azione (atsione) - un'attività o un movimento Pezzo (petso) - una parte di qualcosa Piazza (piatsa) - lo spazio pubblico aperto Tazza (tatsa) - il contenitore per il caffè La Z Sonora (come DS) La Z sonora si pronuncia come i suoni "D" e "S" pronunciati insieme velocemente. I contenuti funzionano quando riescono a spostare il cliente dal presente scomodo verso un passato rassicurante o un futuro desiderabile.Per farlo usano nostalgia e novità come se fossero zuccheri narrativi. Se i clienti fossero già “in cassa” a pagare, non servirebbero contenuti, ma il cliente oggi è lontano da noi, sia mentalmente che emotivamente. Vive nel suo "qui e ora" che di solito non è piacevole.Un presente carico di frustrazioni, preoccupazioni, noia, apatia e altre cose brutte. Il vero compito delle parole è costruire un altrove mentale dove la sofferenza viene annullata.Un luogo narrativo in cui le cose sono state migliori oppure in cui saranno migliori e qui entrano in gioco due strumenti potenti: un passato idealizzato, con il suo effetto nostalgia e un futuro desiderabile, con la sua promessa di novità.La nostalgia funziona perché il cervello ha un istinto selettivo e di fronte al passato tende a illuminare i ricordi belli sfumando i difetti sullo sfondo. Quando pensiamo all'infanzia, ai nonni, a come si viveva in un certo quartiere tanti anni fa, non stiamo facendo un'analisi storica, ma stiamo accedendo a un archivio emotivo che privilegia la parte rassicurante. Comunicare agganciandosi a quei tempi significa sfruttare questo archivio collocando ciò che vendiamo vicino a immagini e sensazioni che per il cliente sono cariche di significato positivo.Non tutte le attività hanno lo stesso margine operativo quando si parla di nostalgia, ad esempio chi lavora con prodotti legati alla tradizione ha una corsia preferenziale. Il pane fatto con lievitazioni lente oppure il vino che richiama le vigne di famiglia hanno qualche carta in più da giocare. Così come l'artigianato, la sartoria, i mestieri di bottega... tutti contesti che offrono spunti per una narrazione ricca di effetto nostalgia. Persino i luoghi in sé possono diventare un dispositivo nostalgico. Una sede in un quartiere storico colloca la narrazione in un altro tempo ancora prima di parlare del prodotto. A quel punto si apre un grande spazio creativo e si possono raccontare storie legate al “come si faceva una volta”.Si possono mettere a confronto ieri e oggi, sottolineando le continuità che rassicurano. Si possono descrivere dettagli molto concreti. I profumi di un forno acceso all'alba. I suoni di un laboratorio in cui si lavora a mano o i gesti ripetuti per anni allo stesso modo.Ogni dettaglio sensoriale diventa un dispositivo per il teletrasporto emotivo. Non stai più solo dicendo “faccio il pane fresco ogni giorno”, ma stai invitando il lettore a entrare in un forno che somiglia a qualcosa che ha già vissuto, magari da bambino. È lo stesso meccanismo che sperimentiamo con la letteratura, il teatro, il cinema. Bastano poche pagine perché la nostra testa esca dal presente e ci ritroviamo in un'altra epoca, in un altro luogo. Non perché qualcuno ci ha fornito dati tecnici, ma perché ha rievocato immagini e sensazioni che si agganciano al nostro passato.Da qui nasce la domanda: quale ricordo bello dei tempi andati può rievocare il mio prodotto o il mio servizio? Se la risposta è “nessuno”, la strada della nostalgia è più stretta. Se invece emergono luoghi, persone, rituali, odori... vale la pena insistere.Dall'altra parte c'è l'effetto novità, che lavora sul futuro. La leva è sempre emotiva perché gli esseri umani convivono con una speranza di fondo: prima o poi le cose miglioreranno, in qualche modo.Rimandiamo anche le decisioni necessarie perché immaginiamo un dopo in cui il problema sarà meno grave o addirittura risolto.Il futuro ci piace proprio perché promette un mondo in cui le difficoltà del presente non esistono più. Questo tipo di narrazione si sposa bene con prodotti e servizi che promettono trasformazione. Ad esempio percorsi formativi, consulenze e strumenti tecnologici. Tutte soluzioni che nascono con l'obiettivo di cambiare qualcosa nella vita del cliente. Quando qualcuno si iscrive a un corso non pensa di uscire uguale a prima, c'è l'aspettativa di uno scarto, di un prima e un dopo. Per raccontare questo scarto, l'errore più comune è entrare nel dettaglio tecnico fatto di microchip, funzioni del software, struttura del percorso. È molto più potente descrivere la vita del cliente dopo il cambiamento. Che cosa succede nella sua giornata tipo sei mesi dopo aver iniziato a usare il servizio? Quali problemi non ha più? Che cosa fa con meno fatica? Che cosa riesce finalmente a permettersi? Scrivere poche righe su questa versione futura del cliente è un esercizio prezioso.Aiuta a chiarire la promessa reale di ciò che si vende e fa emergere la differenza tra il presente carico di sofferenza e il domani desiderabile.A questo punto si torna alla domanda chiave: meglio usare il dolcificante della nostalgia o quello della novità?Una prima risposta passa da ciò che si vende: se il cuore del proprio lavoro è fatto di eredità, radici, continuità, il passato glorioso è un alleato naturale. Se invece l'attività ruota intorno al miglioramento e alla trasformazione, la direzione più logica è il futuro. Un domani che non esiste ancora, ma che appare reale e desiderabile.Una seconda riflessione riguarda il pubblico. Alcune persone si sentono più rassicurate da ciò che conoscono. Cercano conferme, rituali, sapori che hanno già sperimentato e che non deludono mai. Altre sono irresistibilmente attratte da ciò che ancora non conoscono. Idealizzano la novità, vedono nel futuro la promessa di un salto di qualità. È interessante notare come le aziende spesso giochino su questa doppia possibilità. Nel food, per esempio, c'è chi costruisce la propria identità sul “come una volta” e chi invece propone nuove formulazioni, frutto della ricerca, con caratteristiche che in passato non sarebbero state possibili. Lo stesso vale per molti altri settori. Il bisogno soddisfatto è simile, ciò che cambia è il mondo evocato. La novità, però, porta con sé una piccola controindicazione perché chi vive inseguendo solo ciò che è "nuovo" tende a cambiare continuamente riferimento. Ciò che oggi è innovativo domani viene percepito come superato (servirà un'ulteriore novità e poi un'altra ancora e ancora...). La nostalgia invece ha un super potere perché le cose belle del passato non esauriscono il loro effetto. Possono essere vissute molte volte senza stancare. È un aspetto che vale la pena tenere a mente quando si decide che tipo di promessa costruire.Alla fine il principio di fondo resta lo stesso: senza una storia che rimanda a un passato desiderabile o a un futuro desiderabile, i contenuti lasciano le persone dove sono. Nel presente che di solito è ricco di frustrazione, noia e altre cose poco piacevoli.Una storia ben costruita non elimina i problemi, però offre una via di fuga mentale. His playing with Journey blew me mind, and the fact that he had a full-on jazz career alongside his rock success made him even more inspiring to me. Steve made Modern Drummer's Top 25 Drummers of All Time list and won the #1 All-Around Drummer Award five years in a row. His credits are stacked, from early gigs with Jean Luc-Ponty (alongside Allan Holdsworth), Focus, and Ronnie Montrose, to arena-filling hits with Journey, to leading his band Vital Information (for the past 4 decades). This year Andrea stepped out from her long time role as a side musician and produced her first solo show where Robby Krieger from The Doors joined her on stage as a special guest. Since most of her work is as a hired performer with other artists, when she has a release of her own, Andrea puts time and care into every facet of her artistry including styling her own wardrobe, artistic direction, and merch designs.   Determined and eager to explore new facets of creativity, Andrea wants her life to feel like the non-stop expression of Interlochen Arts Camp she went to growing up. In addition to music, she's a lifelong visual artist, having started drawing and painting when she was a toddler.
