NY EPISODE UDE NU: HENRIK IRGENS ELSKER THE BEATLES! Find mere om Henrik Irgens her: https://henrik.co.uk https://linktr.ee/henrikirgens

The Lady Dicks: Haunted, True Crime + History

Ever wanted to spend a night in a haunted jail? Ok, maybe it's not at the top of your list but if it's anywhere on there today's episode is for you. We are taking a trip to the capital city of Canada, to visit what was once the Carlton County Jail. Today the jail operates as hostel (though not today, today, due to Covid it's temporarily closed), and you can absolutely spend the night there where you just might be lucky (or unlucky) enough to have a sleep interrupted by ghostly cries and night terrors, and you might just wake up to a spooky little someone standing at the end of your bed! The Lady Dicks dick-tect history, mystery and paranormal tales from around the world. Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of She's A Small Wonder: A Small Wonder Podcast. Today, I covered S1E13: Brainwashed, which aired on November 30, 1985. In this episode Vici goes to play with Harriet and she tells her how to demand things from her parents. This breaks down Viki's internal circuit and Ted need to re-configure her. I enjoyed this episode. We got to see how the other half lived. The other being Harriet. I think this statement would be Jamie Lawson approved as he is President of the I Hate The Brindles Fan Club. Harriet was at her top most annoying in the episode so far in Season 1, granted I think Bonnie, her mother topped her. We get another spanking reference by Ted, the idea of him joking about spanking Vici because she put the dishes along with the tablecloth in the sink is just cray-cray. I get it, it was the 80's, the only other parent that speaks of spanking as much as Ted Lawson is Phillip Drummond in regards to Arnold Jackson in Diff'rent Strokes, which I will be covering once a month starting in April. Join me in February when I cover S1E14: The Burrito Story, which aired on January 4, 1986. Wow, a whole month hiatus. So this next episode is the first episode of the new year in 1986. In this episode Jamie learns about business when he sells burritos, If you'd like to EMAIL The Podcast about your Small Wonder memories or comments on past episodes send all EMAILS To: lbomwonderyearspodcast@gmail.com Have a great weekend everyone!

For the first time EVER, I've got a couple on the show! Jacqui Oakley and Jamie Lawson are both freelance creatives (she's an illustrator, he's an illustrator and designer) with an energetic three-year-old. We talk about their childcare situation and dividing up time with their son when deadlines don't always coincide with day care. © Jacqui Oakley It was good fun to chat with them. They are beginning to collaborate on fine art/gallery work and it makes me wish my husband and I could collaborate in that way. It sounds like a great way to get back to the early parts of a relationship, before kids. And Jacqui weighs in on her experience taking a break from work after giving birth. You can follow Jacqui on Twitter and Instagram @jacquioakley and you can follow Jamie on Twitter @poly_studio and Instagram @jamielawson. And if you're enjoying the show, please take a moment to rate and review on iTunes. It helps spread the word!
