From the personal journal of Fata Mata, please enjoy her final entry as she recounts the events of episode 35-50 as the Kinky Cooks explored the kingdom of Charon. She herself does not know who this is written for as she prepares herself for her potentially final day, the final day of the world, and the end of the world as we know it.If you're looking to jump into the podcast without listening to the whole backlog, just listen to the two previous recap epsiodes, as well as this one, and you'll be all caught up to start the finale with episode 51. Season 11 of Blurry Photos kicks off with the Burke and Hare murders! A wild story of 19th century body-snatching, the Burke and Hare murders may have helped advance anatomical science, but definitely regressed ethics. William Burke and William Hare, Irishmen living in Scotland, have become two of the most famous serial killers of the 19th century. When the demands of medical science became too much to keep up with naturally, the two Irishmen stepped in to lend a helping hand. Not grave robbers, or "resurrection men" as they were called at the time, the duo skipped the whole burial part to provide anatomists with fresh bodies. It's a macabre tale of science and economics gone awry, with a slightly tipsy storytelling element to boot on this episode of Blurry Photos! Don't forget to watch me stream games on Twitch! Se volete aiutarci a migliorare il nostro progetto, sosteneteci come più volete su BUYMEACOFFE o PATREON (link qui sotto).BUYMEACOFFEE: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/Giovanni.PINSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/medioevo_fa_storia/FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/MedioevofaStoria/Music: Neverland, Adventure, Scaga, Bonfire, We Three Celtic Kings, Battle of the Creek, Nomadic Sunset, Vopna by Alexander Nakarada (www.serpentsoundstudios.com)Licensed under Creative Commons BY Attribution 4.0 LicenseLogo design: https://www.fiverr.com/quatorzedesigns

More like Vampireland! Season 8 kicks off with the fine tradition of Irish folklore, as Flora takes you through some Irish vampires and other Celtic monsters! They might not be the first thing that comes to mind for the emerald isle, but Irish vampires and other Celtic monsters have a worthy pedigree in the folklore there. As the new season kicks off, David toasts to your health and celebration for a fun edition of "Slurry Photos." While Fae Folk usually take center stage, the evil Abhartach, Dearg Due, and Leannan Sidhe play supporting roles. They aren't the only dark things to beware, however, and David rolls through several fascinating entities such as Bocanagh, Fear Gorta, the Sluagh, and the Coiste Bodhar. Pour a tall, cold Guinness and sit back for a story-filled ride through Ireland's dark night on this episode of Blurry Photos!
