In today's Daily Fix:December 2024's PS Plus games have been revealed, and if you love open-world action games, you're in luck. Leading the pack are Square Enix's Forspoken and Sega's Sonic Frontiers (just in time for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in theaters). You're also getting more "cozy" games like Coffee Talk and its sequel, and the slice-of-life adventure game A Space for the Unbound. There's also Phogs! where you play as a double-ended dog (dogs?). In other news, Astro Bot is getting more free DLC in the form of the free Winter Wonder expansion, which should be available this week. And finally, the latest Cyberpunk 2077 update brings expanded features to the game's photo mode.

On today's IGN The Fix: Games, Xbox Game Pass games for the first half of March have been announced by Xbox, and the headline game this month is Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. These games will leave Xbox Game Pass on March 15, 2022: Nier: Automata, Phogs!, Torchlight III, and The Surge 2. Twitch streamer Hasan Piker also known as Hasan Abi raised over $100,000 for Ukraine relief in partnership with CARE in less than half an hour yesterday. In addition, Hasan also donated $10 for every death he succumbed to in Elden Ring which stacked up to $25,000 so far. Narz has all that in your Daily Fix!

We're a little less jam-packed in regards to quantity this week, but we are MORE than making up for it in the quality department, with some seriously top-notch games on the docket  this week...so, let's go! First things first, we've all got BOBA fever!  This awesome little precision platformer from indie dev trio, Casey MacNiel, Dalton Leavy, & Connor Grail is an absolutely fantastic experience from top to bottom...and on top of all that, there is a full blown level editor that is super simple to use and already has loads of great player-made levels!  Kevin also just can't leave Ludum Dare 48 alone and has one more amazingly polished precision puzzle platformer, Tailspin!, from Team Bugulon. Randall has been playing a bunch of PHOGS! with his wife Tina, and they've been having a blast with this wacky co-op puzzle adventure!  Kevin has a couple more indies to spotlight (per usual), after sinking a ton of time into both Die in the Dungeon, a roguelite deckbuilding dice game, and Townseek, a super chill trading exploration game. They chat the idea of the attendance of brewers / game developers, big queues, big beers, local beers and what they enjoyed from these events. Lucy played some games whist at EGX including G30, Overcooked 2 and Phogs, she also played The Gardens Between which she goes into a little more detail on. After the events they discuss some news including the sad closure of Telltale Games and Sony caving on crossplay. Lucy has a week off the beer so it's just down to Ben.
