In this episode, I answer a question from Hannah in Texas about what to do when a child leaves the playroom mid-session—especially when limits have already been set. This is one of the most common challenges in CCPT, and it brings up important questions about limit-setting, consistency, and maintaining the integrity of the play therapy process. I break down how to structure limits effectively, why wording matters, and how to handle situations where a child insists on staying in the lobby. I also explain the importance of positioning yourself near the door as a barrier to help with self-regulation. If you've ever struggled with reinforcing playroom expectations, this episode provides clear strategies to keep sessions on track while staying child-centered. Hey!The Halifax Real Estate Podcast MEETUP! Is a monthly event that I host on meetup.com It's a place for listeners and guests of the podcast to connect and for listeners to get their questions answered about the Halifax Real Estate market, as well as real estate in general. Fair warning: We tried our best to polish the audio file up as best as we could, but with these zoom meetings the guests are typically on computer microphones, and there's only so much that can be done with these types of audio files. If you're interested in joining the meetups, you can find the group in meetup.com by searching Halifax Real Estate Podcast MEETUP!, or follow my Instagram account @jasonpaulhalifaxrealtor to stay up to date on all things podcast and meetups. Join us for days 3, 4, and 5 of Star Wars Celebration Chicago! Be sure to check out the post on our website for photos and links and all of the good stuff that goes along with this episode: https://childrenoftheforce.com/2019/04/21/episode-131-days-3-4-and-5-of-star-wars-celebration-chicago/After some opening thoughts about Celebration and some news of how we’re acclimating back into our regular lives, we get into it…SATURDAY [7:40]The Rebels Remembered panel was great, emotional and hilarious. We stopped by the Star Wars Show stage and Cameron took our picture, as you can see here: https://www.instagram.com/p/BwNZbZqAnv1/Then we witnessed The Running of the Hoods, which is delightfully bizarre. Check out the videos on our Twitter feed here: https://twitter.com/ForceChildren/status/1117291095543701505Then we went to the Sisters of the Force panel on the Celebration stage, which was a great conversation full of appreciation and tears. The energy in that stadium was so amazing. And we ended the day with A Star Wars Let’s Play, the video game panel. Which was so funny my face was sore at the end of it. I wish I would have taken video of this panel. Alas...But actually, we ended the day with the Podcast Meetup at the hotel bar. It was a blast. So fun to meet some of our fellow podcasters. SUNDAY [34:50]We went to the Mandalorian panel on the Celebration stage. It was awesome and we’ll talk more about it on an upcoming show! (It's hard to see, but there are ton of Mandalorian Mercs right in the middle of that photo holding up their helmets.)EK Johnston signed a couple books and we had a great conversation with her about Crokinole. Then we met Andi Gutierrez and Anthony Carboni and Scott Bromley! I got Anthony Daniels autograph on my 1977 trading card of 3PO! And he held the action figure I’ve owned nearly my entire life! Then we went to the Clone Wars panel, which was awesome! You can watch it here (including the clips from upcoming episodes and the trailer for the new season!):https://youtu.be/I0XlB2EJZuA?t=10We ended the day with laughter again at the Anthony Daniels one-man show. Which included us all singing along to this video of 3PO on Sesame Street: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDRlZHn_oPEMONDAY [54:00]We went to the Celebration Store, which was pretty cool. The kids got this photo with a Loth Wolf: We saw the awe-inspiring completed diorama. Met Ryan and Dillon from the Me and My Padawan podcast. We ran into the Geeky Bubble crew! And we got Peter Mayhew’s autograph on my 1977 trading card of Chewbacca!FINAL THOUGHTS ABOUT CELEBRATION [1:16:35]OUTRO [1:20:10]Thanks for listening! Send us a voicemail or email us at forcechildren@gmail.com if you want to take part in the discussion or just give us some feedback. Thanks!

She is joining me on the show to give her real world experience around Podcasting in Europe… Karin has been a very active representative of the podcasting in Denmark, since the very early days of Podcasting. Topics:- Can you update us on the impression you have of the podcasting market in Denmark and in other parts of Europe? - What are you seeing around podcasting awareness and listenership and new content growth?- I attended a Podcast Meetup in Barcelona, Spain a week ago and all the podcasters spoke in their podcasts using Spanish, but agreed that the most popular podcasts people listen to in Spain are in English.- Yet, it seems that still very small levels of the population in Europe even know what a podcast is - Music radio is still so strong and talk is just not that big generally… will it get more popular as the content variety of podcasting grows?- Do you think European media will ever get excited about podcasting, like what the USA media has done because of “Serial”?Show Links:http://www.Podconsult.dk/englishVideo Demo of Spreaker Podcast Radio App: http://youtu.be/YZ3JddcxQjAhttp://Adore.fmhttp://blog.spreaker.comhttp://SpreakerLiveShow.comhttps://Spreaker.comSend Questions and Comments to: @Spreaker on Twitter using #SpreakerLive Tech Support: support@spreaker.comRob Greenlee: Rob at Spreaker.com

Welcome to the thirtieth episode of 2 Friends on a Couch! Featuring guest Zach "Galifianakis" Dyer. As teased on last week's episode the three of us went to a Podcast MeetUp group and had quite the adventure. Which is good, because if we didn't then who knows what we might have had to talk about. Zach and Devon go deep down the Petro-Rabbit Hole in a discussion about all things Transformers. While Nicki calls shenanigans on Devon's claim from last episode that the bible is just NOW being adapted for the silver screen. Best of all we finally get the Tyrese Gibson story recorded onto digital media for everybody's listening pleasure!
#Podcast #Meetup #Bodensee #Konstanz #DE
Ep 517.5: Japanese Club Podcast Meetup “Drew is the concierge of podcasting.” Here it is, the moment you've all been waiting for. We've tried (unsuccessfully) about twice now to do a multi podcast feed with all of our shows. The first incarnation was the PGB (Podcast … Continue reading → The Jamhole - Stay hungry, stay foolish.
This is the first chapter of the Audiobook and Podcast Novel, Little Bird Told Me. I, John Rhodes, started producing this podcast almost back to when the first podcast novel came out produced by Scott Sigler. We would go to the same Podcast Meetup. This first chapter is entitled, Leaving Home. It deals with parental control much like it is portrayed in its watered down version in the characters of Edith and Archie Bunker. I make you ask the question…if a parent isn’t a mentor or a guide, are they actually holding their child hostage to an unfriendly world, almost as if kidnapped? You be the judge. I hope you enjoy this first chapter. Please visit my poetry podcast/tv show too, at http://mysticbabylon.podomatic.com . It is beginning to run nationally on Public access channels all over the U.S. Enjoy.
